"Ash is doing so wonderful this match, he's only got three Pokemon left to beat, and he still has five of his left." Delia said happily as the arena was cleaned.

"Maybe, but it's not been an easy fight." Casey said, seeing Feraligatr, Pikachu, Sudowoodo, and Gligar already on the board, having taken serious damage each.

"And we have no idea about Harrison's last two, they could also be Pokemon Ash has never seen, and he still has to beat that Kecleon." Molly reminded.

"Ash is a strong trainer, you can't let the current state of the match change the fact that he has made it to the top eight in only his second official Pokemon League." Professor Oak reminded, as Ash and Harrison came back onto the field.

"Welcome back trainers and battle enthusiasts, for the second half of the battle our trainers will have to get around slipping and sliding into each other's attacks in the dangerous icy arena." DJ Mary said, the field becoming slick with several boulders covered in a thick sheet of ice. "As the current lead of the match, Ash will be sending out his Pokemon first."

"Sudowoodo let's go!" Ash said, sending out his rock type once more.

"Sneasel come out!" Harrison called out.

"That troublemaker again!" Casey said angrily.

"But Sneasel is really weak to fighting and rock type attacks like what Sudowoodo has. What is Harrison's plan?" Molly questioned.

"Sudowoodo won't have the footing on this arena like Sneasel does." Professor Oak said. "Yes Sudowoodo in an even match has the advantage, but this is hardly an even match on this field."

"Sudowoodo use Rock Throw!"

"Sneasel use Metal Claw!"

Sneasel easily ran around the ice of the arena, slicing at Sudowoodo, knocking the rock type onto his back and spinning.

"Sudowoodo get up!"

"Sneasel use Metal Claw again!"

Sneasel skated across the ice, their claws sending out a piercing screech as they were dragged along before slicing straight at Sudowoodo, knocking the rock type back into the air, before crashing down on an icy rock.

"Sudowoodo is unable to battle, the winner is Sneasel!" DJ Mary declared.

"You did your best Sudowoodo, but out on that ice, no way you were keeping up with Sneasel." Ash said, thinking for a moment. "Gligar let's go!"

"Gligar is definitely an odd choice." Professor Oak admitted.

"Maybe, but if you consider the field, Gligar might have the advantage being in the air." Molly said, watching curiously.

"Gligar use Double Team!"

"Sneasel use Icy Wind!"

A flock of Gligar appeared, surrounding Sneasel from the air as the dark type sent out a cold breeze distorting the clones.

"Gligar use Sludge Bomb!"

"Sneasel use Double Team!"

Several poisonous blobs launched at Sneasel as several other dark types appeared making it difficult to find the real one.

"Gligar dive down and use Earthquake!" Ash called out.

"Sneasel use Quick Attack!"

Gligar shot straight down, his stinger piercing the frozen arena and shaking it as the Sneasel bounced about.

"Gligar now use Sludge Bomb!"

Gligar tried to unstick its stinger to no avail as the ice was too thick.

"Sneasel now! Use Icy Wind!"

Sneasel let out a freezing breeze that turned Gligar into a popsicle.

"And Gligar is unable to continue the fight, making Sneasel the winner!" DJ Mary exclaimed.

"Great work Gligar." Ash said, recalling the scorpion bat. "Now Pikachu let's finish this icy reception! Use Quick Attack!"

Pikachu sped across the battlefield, his feet touching the ice for but a moment each step before slamming into the weakened Sneasel.

"Sneasel get up and use Metal Claw!"

"Pikachu use Thunder Punch!"

Pikachu leapt at Sneasel, the two's fists colliding as Sneasel tumbled back into several rocks.

"Sneasel is unable to battle, the winner is Pikachu!" DJ Mary exclaimed.

"Great work, you nearly tied up the match. Sneasel come on back." Harrison said. "Now Kecleon come back out!"

"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

"Kecleon use Psybeam!"

Chunks of ice were lifted up and tossed at Pikachu as he shot a bolt of electricity at them creating a cloud of steam and dust.

"Kecleon use Bind!"

"Pikachu use Quick Attack!"

Pikachu sped around the arena, diving between and around rocks as Kecleon's younger kept extending further and further, eventually tying up the entire arena with Pikachu stuck on top of the rocks or risking getting hit.

"Now use Thunder Punch!"

Pikachu leapt off of his rock, spiraling right at Kecleon, slamming his fist into the normal types head, causing the tongue to retract quickly, tangling the two Pokemon together.

"And it looks like Pikachu's attack caused a double knockout, both Pokemon seem unable to continue battling!" DJ Mary exclaimed.

"And I'll be back." Casey said with that.

"Where are you going? The match is in it's final round!" Molly urged.

"Exactly, and it's two of Ash's heaviest hitters left, and if he wins, I would like to know a few thing about the other trainers." Casey pointed out. "So I'm going to get some answers on those questions for him."

"If he looses." Molly pointed out.

"Then I'll face that reality when it happens." Casey said, going to find out what she could.

"Great work Kecleon, take a long rest." Harrison said, recalling the normal type. "Well Ash it's all down to this Pokemon, think you're ready?"

"Oh yeah." Ash said, as he placed Pikachu down safely. "Feraligatr I choose you!"

"Come on out Blaziken!"

"Feraligatr use Hydro Pump!"

"Blaziken use Sky Uppercut!"

Blaziken raced across the field, almost as if it was flying, dodging most of Feraligatr's attack before punching the water types jaw, sending it flying into the air.

"Feraligatr dive and use Crunch!"

"Blaziken use Aerial Ace!"

Blaziken leapt after Feraligatr, keeping it's immense speed as it struck the water type once more, easily dodging the counter attack.

"Blaziken use Blaze Kick!"

"Feraligatr use Thrash!"

Blaziken rocketed back down at Feraligatr, it's leg encased in fire, as Feraligatr thrashed about, the two colliding as Blaziken bounced back from the attack.

"Blaziken use Solar Beam!"

Feraligatr charged forward as the fire type absorbed the suns energy, striking Blaziken a few times before going down from the direct attack.

"And Feraligatr has gone down in seemingly record time! That Blaziken is fast!" DJ Mary exclaimed.

"Fast and strong, but I'll show the true stronger fire type." Ash said, returning Feraligatr. "Charizard let's go! Use Seismic Toss!"

"Blaziken use Sky Uppercut!"

Blaziken launched at Charizard, the flying type unbothered as it grabbed Blaziken's lanky body spinning it above the arena before slamming them back to the ground.

"Blaziken use Aerial Ace!"

"Charizard use Flamethrower!"

Blaziken rushed forward, being engulfed in the flames for minimal damage.

"I don't get it why would Ash use a move like that, fire wouldn't be good against another fire type, right?" Molly asked.

"He's not looking to deal damage, but lure Harrison in with a false sense of security.". Professor Oak theorized.

"Now Charizard use Dragon Breath!"

Charizard's flames switched from red to blue, engulfing and causing Blaziken to falter in it's run.

"Now use Iron Tail!"

"Dodge it with Blaze Kick!"

Blaziken tried to dodge, only to be knocked away by Charizard's attack.

"Now Charizard use Flamethrower!"

Charizard went into the air, letting out a stream of flames down on Blaziken, melting the ice of the arena completely, leaving the fighting type drenched.

"And Blaziken is unable to battle! The winner of the match is Ash and Charizard!" DJ Mary exclaimed.

"Ash won! He's in the top 4!" Molly cheered.

Later that night

"Well Ash, I'm sad I lost but know I'll be cheering for you." Harrison said, as the group enjoyed some barbecue.

"Thanks Harrison, hey has anyone seen Casey?" Ash asked.

"I found it!" Casey exclaimed, running over.

"What, our dinner?" Ash asked obliviously.

"No, your next opponent, he always leads with the same Pokemon, a Tyranitar." Casey said with worry.

"Always leading with the same Pokemon is normally a risky move, but to have something as powerful as a Tyranitar, that is a dangerous match." Professor Oak said.

"Tyranitar." Ash paused, remembering Lances, before pulling out his Pokedex.

'Tyranitar, the Armor Pokemon, a Rock and Dark type. Recommended types include Water, Grass, Bug, Steel, and prominently fighting.' The Pokedex said.

"A good fighting type would be great against a Pokemon like that, do you have any fighting types?" Harrison asked.

"Best he has is Wobbuffet's Counter, Charizard's Seismic Toss, and Sudowoodo's Low Kick." Casey listed.

"But Wobbuffet is weak to Dark, Charizard is very weak to rock, and Sudowoodo is weak to ground, which Tyranitar comes from." Molly remembered.

"I have an idea, but I have some calls to make, don't wait up for me." Ash said..
