Travelling through the Vortex, the TARDIS had picked up a peculiar signal, so the Doctor had immediately changed course, hoping to follow it to its source.

"D'you always investigate random signals?" Donna asked.

"Of course. How would I find out what's causing them if I didn't? Last time, Rose and I ended up in the middle of the London Blitz."

"That's not where we're going now, is it?" Donna didn't particularly want to experience an air raid first-hand.

"Not today. The signal's coming from there." The Doctor pointed.

"An asteroid?"

"No, a space dragon egg, and it's about to hatch!"
