My third drabble collection, this will be mainly drabbles written for the dw100 community, although there may be others inspired by other challenges. Characters and ratings will vary, both canon and non-canon can be expected, and suggestions are welcome.

The people of Orvinnia needed someone to blame for their recent misfortunes. First there'd been a catastrophic drought that had withered their crops in the fields, then the sun beating down on the seared land had started wildfires that had destroyed whole communities, leaving thousands homeless.

On top of that, when the rain eventually came and put out the last embers, it fell so heavily that rivers overflowed their banks, flooding the hastily constructed shanty towns and washing away the topsoil.

The stranger who appeared in their midst was the perfect scapegoat.

"But I came to help!" the Doctor protested.
