Quiet Day To Something New

Some days later, Cadance was just wandering around Canterlot Castle, just, well, thinkin about a lot of things. "Today is a nice day," she thought to herself, "And I wonder what will happen soon."

Even though right now, she is kind of thinking about what she's going to do today. "Just thinking about what's going on today," Cadance added. "Well," a royal guard replied, "Not much today. Sorry."

"Oh well," Cadance replied, "Can't guess on everything." The guard said nothing in response and just continued on.

Nonetheless, Cadance had just decided to go outside and enjoy the nice day.

"Today is a lovely little day," Cadance thought to herself, "Also, I was happy to meet up with the likes of Blaze, Tamaron and Starshine. Wait, oh. Never mind. That's what life is all about. That's how it should be!"

There, Cadance was right about life, even though on this day, Cadance was all by herself. "No one is available to hang out with," she'd thought sadly, "Oh well, no need to worry. I need a short break anyway."

Today had gone by pretty quickly, for a nice, sunny day. Not much was happening, but Cadance didn't mind that a bit.

Then, Cadance almost grew bored. "Yeah," Cadance thought, "I meant it."

Then, minutes later, a guard approached Cadance. "Yes?" Cadance replied. "The princess wants to see you now," the guard told Cadance. "Okay," Cadance replied, "Then that means Princess Celestia wants to see me now." "That's what I've just said," the guard said, "Oh well."

At once, Cadance ran off to see Princess Celestia. "Yes," Cadance replied once she'd met up with the princess." "Cadance," Princess Celestia said, "There is something I need you to do."

"What's that?" Cadance replied, curious, but somewhat excited. "Well," Princess Celestia told Cadance, "There is one thing I want you to do for me?" "Sure, "Cadance replied happily, "What is it?" "Well," Princess Celestia said, "It's a surprise."

"A surprise?" Princess Cadance repeated. "You'll see," Princess Celestia smiled. Cadance will get a surprise. A familiar face. In fact, two of them.
