The Next Decision
Cadance started to explain. "Well," she began, "There is one idea." "What's that?" Shining Armor asked. "First of all," Night Light began, "We've been so busy with important things. You know, not having time to take care of our kids."
"Don't get us wrong," Twilight Velvet said, "We love our kids. But we're busy with our jobs." "It was hard when I was here," Shining Armor explained, "For our parents and now with Twily here-"
"Yep!" Twilight Sparkle chirped excitedly, but then her mood changed to sympathy, "Oh. I understand."
"Okay, I'll do it," Cadance said, "I'll be the foal-sitter." "Really?" Twilight Velvet replied happily.
Both Night Light and Twilight Velvet were amazed to hear that.
"Thank you for offering," Night Light said, "Why didn't we think of this earlier?" "Because," Shining Armor replied slowly. "Oh well," Twilight Velvet said in response, "Better late than never. That's what they all say."
"Well," Cadance said, "As you two are busy with your jobs, I'll be happy to look after Twilight here. After all, we're all friends." "That is true," Shinning Armor replied, "And I'm happy just to be with you."
"Thanks," Cadance replied. "All right," Night Light replied, "Then Cadance, since you're a good friend of our children, you can be the foal sitter then."
"Starting the next day when we have to be away," Twilight Velvet added, "We know we can trust you."
"True," Night Light agree, "Please start when it is time. Not right now, of course." "Yes," Shining Armor agreed, "For now, let's enjoy this day." "Yes!" Twilight Sparkle agreed.
And after that, everyone enjoyed the rest of the day. Princess Celestia smiled at Cadance. "It was your idea, Celestia," Cadance told the princess.
"I know," Princess Celestia replied, "But it was mostly your idea in the first place. It's because of you." "Yes," Cadance agreed, "But still…."
