I've been wanting to do this for quite a while, after reading the Naruto Maelstrom fanfic. Really good story, go read it if you haven't already, IMPLORE you. But just know it'll be forever incomplete unless someone already adopted it. Also, sorry in advance if I offend anyone's religion/personal beliefs here. It's harmless fun.
The sun began its slow ascent, casting a dim, eerie light over a rundown church. The cross atop the building was inverted, a clear sign that this was no ordinary place of worship. Inside, the atmosphere was just as unsettling. The interior was filled with a large group of people, their faces hidden beneath red hooded robes, each holding a flickering candle.
At the center of this ominous gathering stood a tall, handsome man in his late twenties or early thirties. His blonde hair and navy blue eyes contrasted sharply with the dark robes he wore, resembling those of a preacher. In his hands, he held an unusual-looking bible. This man was Sebastian Blood, known to his followers as Brother Blood.
Sebastian approached a wooden altar in the middle of the church, where a young man was chained. The captive, shirtless and sporting spiky blonde hair with whisker-like marks on his cheeks, was none other than Naruto Uzumaki. His mouth was taped shut, but his eyes burned with defiance.
"Good morning," Sebastian greeted, his voice smooth and calm. "Sorry we had to tape you up, but the Reverend said you have quite the colorful vocabulary."
"Now I don't mind throwin a bit of swearin' & slurs here and there, but we must always keep it professional in the house of the lord. Ya' get me?"
Naruto's muffled yells were met with a casual pat on the head from Sebastian. "Understandable," he said with a smirk.
Sebastian turned to face his followers, who handed him a microphone. "Today, the lord of hell has truly blessed us this mornin' giving rise to our third step to absolution," he proclaimed. "And I assure you, my blood brothers and sisters, after today, we shall be one step closer to making our fantasies a reality!"
The crowd erupted in cheers. " I say-I say can I get a HALLELUJAH!?" Sebastian shouted.
"HALLELUJAH!" the crowd responded in unison.
As the excitement died down, one member continued to shout praises, drawing Sebastian's attention. "Excuse me, son?" Sebastian called out.
The enthusiastic member stood up, rolling on the ground in a dramatic display. "PRAISE THE LORD! PRAISE HIM!" he shouted.
"Yes, indeed," Sebastian replied wryly. "But let's save it for AFTER the sacrifice, okay?"
"Sorry, brother," the member said, standing up. "I was touched by the unholy ghost this fine morning."
Sebastian chuckled. "Well, I'm happy to hear it, son. I hope it felt diabolical and orgasmic. Now, please take a seat. We have much to get done."
The member nodded but then asked, "Can I say one more thing?"
Sebastian signaled his approval. In a flash of lightning, the member used superspeed to snatch the microphone from Sebastian's hand and stood atop the altar, revealing Naruto, now uncuffed. The member removed his robes, revealing a young superhero in yellow and red with red hair. It was Kid Flash.
Sebastian just now realizes this as he frantically searches for his keys, then looks back at Kid Flash spinning them around his finger with a smug grin on his face.
"OK, first off, I just wanted to say I have the utmost respect for everyone's religious beliefs, even if some are questionable," Kid Flash began. "But this antichrist heretic shit? This is a big NO-NO. You're making Scientology look like the most logical of all religions!"
"Seriously, you all need JESUS,Budda,Shiva,and Allah at the same time. Hell, let's add THOR and Hercules for good measure."
"I was gonna add Zeus, but let's be honest, if you're well versed in the Greek mythos, you'd know how much of a literal man whore and deadbeat dad he is; worst combination ever.
One of the more younger crowd members looks to the side, nodding her head in agreement to the speedster's statement.
The crowd, Naruto, and Sebastian were left speechless. Sebastian's eyes began to glow red with fury. "How'd you find this place?" he demanded.
Kid Flash grinned. "Dude, do you see who you're in the presence of right now? Not your lord, but the FASTEST BOY ALIVE."
Sebastian giggled. "Oh, boy… I am gonna enjoy painting these walls with your blood."
"Yeah, sure thing, bro," Kid Flash retorted. "But that implies you'd have to catch me first, which is like a turtle trying to catch up with a jaguar."
Sebastian smirked. "Maybe, but can you really outrun all of us?"
"Hell yeah," Kid Flash replied confidently. As the crowd stood up, revealing hidden weapons, Kid Flash added, "But just to be on the safe side, I brought some friends. Take it away, Boy Wonder!"
Kid Flash tossed the microphone to the upper balcony, where another masked superhero dressed in red, black, and green caught it. It was Robin, the Boy Wonder, who had been hiding in the shadows. "TITANS, GO!" Robin shouted.
The church erupted into chaos as Starfire burst through the double doors, Cyborg smashed through the walls, and Raven phased through the floor. "KILL 'EM!" Sebastian ordered.
The heroes scattered, taking on the cult members. Robin double-kicked two members and whipped out his metal staff, knocking away several more. Kid Flash guarded Naruto. "Stay behind me, I'll protect you," he said.
But Naruto leaped over Kid Flash, launching into a flurry of punches and kicks. He ripped the tape from his mouth with a wince. "Watashi o sukutte kurete arigatō! Kimitachi wa dareda?" he shouted.
Kid Flash looked confused. "You're Japanese?"
Sebastian attempted to behead Kid Flash with a sword, but Naruto struck him with a Rasengan, sending him crashing into the wall. Kid Flash delivered a barrage of punches to another attacker. Though they couldn't understand each other, Naruto and Kid Flash shared a thumbs-up.
Starfire bombarded a group with her star bolts but stopped when one member jumped on her back. She noticed the member was a demon, which delighted her. She rammed the demon against the wall, creating a huge crater.
"My friends!" Starfire called out. "Our rule to not take life has no place here. These are not humans but monsters in disguise!"
"Nice," Cyborg replied. "Then let's make this a REAL slaughterhouse!"
The Titans stopped holding back, going in for the kill. Cyborg swung a pew, sending demons sending some of the demons flying out the large windows.
Raven's eyes glowed with determination as she chanted, "Ki-PAR!" A fireball erupted from her hands, engulfing a demon in flames. The hooded hero then surrounded herself in a violet aura, her voice echoing through the church as she shouted another incantation, "Azarath Metrion ZINTHOS!"
With a wave of her hands, Raven's magic snatched the swords, knives, and axes from the demons' hands, turning their own weapons against them. The demons fell, lifeless, as their weapons pierced their bodies.
Robin descended from the balcony, launching a dozen batarangs at the remaining demons. The batarangs beeped ominously before exploding, sending debris flying. Robin landed gracefully, striking an epic crouching pose.
Starfire reveled in the chaos, dispatching demons with ease. She even ripped one demon's head off and kicked it away like a soccer ball. "Whoa… These guys are full of surprises!" Naruto exclaimed to himself, impressed by the Titans' prowess.
Just as the church seemed cleared, Sebastian Blood, still alive, staggered to his feet. Raven floated near him, her eyes narrowing. "You just can't help constantly brown-nosing my father, can you, Blood?" she spat.
Sebastian chuckled darkly. "Heh, how could I not? He's never let me down before… why stop now?"
Suddenly, Sebastian shot a red energy blast at Raven. She managed to block it with an energy shield, but the force sent her flying. "Raven!" Robin shouted.
Naruto leaped into action, catching Raven just in time to prevent a rough landing. He turned to face Sebastian, their eyes both glowing red with fury.
"I'll see you around, BEAST… your mission is far from over!" Sebastian taunted, pointing at Naruto.
Starfire, Cyborg, and Robin launched their long-range attacks—a flurry of batarangs, star bolts, and energy rays—but Sebastian vanished along with his followers before the attacks could reach him.
Naruto helped Raven to her feet. "Daijoubu desu ka?" he asked, concern in his voice.
Raven and Naruto locked eyes, sensing something deeply amiss. Raven was the first to react, backing away and sending Naruto flying with a violet energy blast. He crashed to the floor, unconscious.
Raven approached the downed ninja, intent on finishing the job, but Kid Flash intervened. "Whoa-whoa, what're you doing!?" he exclaimed.
Raven paused, panting, before regaining her composure. "They kept him chained for a reason. We best do the same," she said calmly, heading for the front door as the Titans exchanged worried glances.
"Hey, check this out," Cyborg called, drawing their attention to Naruto. The burn mark on his chest, inflicted by Raven, was slowly healing.
"OK, maybe we should, just to be on the safe side," Robin agreed, pulling out a pair of handcuffs.
