In a world where everyone has quirks, your social status in society was determined by how flashy or useful or cool your quirk was. If you could only summon a few sparkles from your hands or if you had the ability to change hair color based on your emotions then you could only be a normal civilian, forever destined to stay in the background when others who could control wind or have super strength take the spotlight. Normally there would be only these two categories, but of course life isn't always so great as we think it is.

Villain quirks.

Those who have a villain quirk are subjugated to hatred and fear by those around them, oftentimes leading these poor souls to become what their peers feared the most.

However there is a fourth category that i have not mentioned, a group of people that are not even considered humans, that are so hated and bullied, they don't even get older then 14 or 15. Being quirkless in a super powered society is basically a death sentence, an invite for people to hurt and humiliate you, being considered lower than dirt or literal animals is something traumatizing for everyone, especially younger generations. So of course quirkless are not allowed to be in the spotlight of society, to be Heroes, it's horrible just imagining such a thing.

But it is right at this moment, in this night, that Fate would create something out of a nightmare for Heroes and Villains alike. Something that would show how to be a real Hero to those fakes, and would teach Villains to fear going out at night.

Izuku Midoriya was feeling pretty good right now, well after a long day of being Kacchan punching bag and used as a scapegoat by the other kids, anything good or remotely nice could make that terrible day, a nice day.

For instance after work his mother, Inko Midoriya, decided that they could have dinner outside for the night at a katsudon restaurant, Izuku's favorite food, so they could lift the fatigue of the day and spend time with each other. Inko was trying her very best to protect Izuku from their cruel world, but at the same time she knew she failed at hers responsibilities, that she could have done more for her son, she knew of the prejudice, of the bullying, done mostly by his supposed best friend if the burn marks weren't a clear sign, but she was alone, Hisashi left right after Izuku's fourth birthday and so she remained to bear this burden. After dinner the mother and son couple decided to take a walk outside before returning home, but what they didn't know was that they were being followed by a malicious presence.

The man followed behind them, ready to strike at the proper moment, he was searching for an easy score tonight, a few jewels or something valuable in the purse of the woman, he didn't care, just something easy and valuable.

He followed them in an alley where they turned to as a shortcut. This is the moment, he thought, this is the right moment.

In that moment Fate was sealed forever, as a crying child was kneeling in front of his dead mother.
