Day 5: Date

Timeline: 1 Week Post-Trouble in Tokyo, 3 Days Post-Issue #39: Stupid Cupid (it would be February 17)

"Robin!" Starfire exclaimed. "Now that we have returned to the city of Jump, we must embark on our first official date as boyfriend and girlfriend!"

"Sure thing, Star," said Robin, still astonished that he and Starfire are actually dating. "Where would you want to go?"

"I have thought about our previous unofficial dates," Starfire noted. "We danced at prom, and before that we went atop the Ferris wheel. That one was so rudely interrupted thanks to the actions of my sister. I would gladly appreciate a second attempt."

"Alright, Ferris wheel it is." Robin looked over to the couch where the other three main Titans sat. "You three ready to handle any trouble that might happen tonight? It would suck if this got ruined again."

"Don't worry! We've got your back," said Beast Boy, in the middle of a video game battle with Cyborg.

"Yeah!" Cyborg added. "You two gotta have fun on your honeymoon!"

Starfire giggled. "We will!"

As soon as the couple got high enough on the Ferris wheel that people on the ground couldn't recognize them, Robin removed his mask. Starfire previously admitted she found his blue eyes beautiful, and he wasn't about to deny her the chance to see them once again.

And now they were at the very top, overlooking the Pacific.

"One day you'll have to show me some cool spots on Tamaran," Robin said. "You didn't really get a chance last time with the sham wedding and all."

"Yes, my home planet does have its pretty sights," Starfire replied. "And I am sure Galfore would wish to know of our relationship. I suspect he has been doing the 'shipping' of us."

Robin immediately thought back to the romance disaster that happened thanks to Larry stealing Eros' arrows. "I guess a lot of people wanted us to get together."

"To be fair, I did tell my knorfka I would like to marry someone from Earth, and then proceeded to go right by your side."

"Heh heh…" Robin awkwardly adjusted his collar. "I think we should hold off on marriage for a few years at least."

"Oh yes, I am happy with where we are now. So happy…" Starfire leaned down so her head rested on Robin's shoulder. It was a bit awkward considering her taller height, but soon she was looking right into his eyes.

For a moment they didn't say anything and just maintained eye contact, but eventually they had to stop once the Ferris wheel lowered and Robin reapplied his mask.

"Do you remember what I said last time we were on this wheel?" Starfire asked.

Robin smiled. "You said Earth is full of wonderful things."

"Indeed." There seemed to be a sparkle in her eyes. "But the people are even more wonderful. Tamaran may be my home planet, but it is not my home. My home is wherever you are. I love you, Richard Grayson."

She leaned forward to plant a sweet kiss on his lips, which he gladly leaned into.

"I love you too, more than anything."

The two of them knew they'd never be alone again.

Starfire knows Robin's true name at this point as I follow the common belief that he revealed his identity at the end of "Revved Up". The next oneshot after all this Robstar Week stuff will cover that moment.

Also shout-out to the wonderful fic "Would You Still Love Me if I was a Worm?" by P_Artsypants for inspiring Robstar feeling at home when they're with each other in this fic.
