Chapter 10
Earlier…
Gojo left the moment he heard Yua leave the house. He had to know something, he has to know if it was true or not. It was strange as he approached Toji's residence, after all, he's not one to ask for help. At the same time… this wasn't right by any means. He knows what Yua endured and how painful it was to lose the three children she was to have. How could he have messed up so badly that his children despise him?
It was Rook's punch that knocked some sense into him, looking back, he started to understand his son's frustration. He didn't take what was happening seriously, his mind refuse to allow such a thing until Yua threatened to leave him. After he was scared shitless of that, everything… fell back into place. He realized how much he messed up and yet… the damage was done. But he has yet to do a damn thing to fix it since!
"What the hell do you want?!"
He snapped out of his daze as Toji appeared outside of the house. Satoru had been standing there for some time by the looks of the glare Toji gave him. "I… was wondering if I could speak with lady Tiamat?" he asked.
"Tsk, fine…" Toji went back in and Lady Tiamat came out. She paused a moment as she stared at him.
"If I assumed you are here to ask about what happened when you were expecting, the answer you assume, is correct. My uncle has it out for Yua as well, and no doubt, he is doing everything possible to ensure she never has another child."
He froze to this, utter confusion followed. Before he could even ask, she continued. "Yua is a threat to him just as I am. We are not listening nor do we obey someone like him, at the same time, our children are more powerful than those of any born in the heavenly realm." She explained.
"I… I need to know if there is a way for me to make it up to the children I harmed?" he asked.
She paused to this. "Satoru… are you aware as to your treatment, let alone care of your children has greatly affected them?" she asked bluntly. "Yua has done well on her own, the fact that Sukuna was here…"
"Don't… remind me…"
She forced a smile. "It was part of the reason why I wanted him alive."
Satoru, froze to this as he glared at lady Tiamat. "You? You wanted him alive to rise MY kids?!" he demanded.
"You walked away." She said bluntly. "Had he been here or not, you would have left Yua to deal and handle the children herself. You are scared of your children for you don't know how to train them. I do believe when you died the first time around, a certain schoolmate of yours pointed out. You didn't become a sorcerer because it was the right thing to do with the power you had, you became one since it was the easiest thing you could do."
He remembered that burn all too well. And from the NICE guy and his junior no less!
"Yua would have a notion as to how to teach the children, but not a full idea. Ryomen on the other hand, as seen it all more or less. And those he has yet to see, he figures out rather quickly. Adaptability and the gift of learning is a great weapon in itself. He was able to see the true potential of your children when you couldn't help them reach it in the first place."
He sighed. Satoru suddenly spread his legs out and decreed. "Okay, just kick me right here!" he demanded and pointed between his legs. "I already got the verbal aspect, might as well finish the experience!"
She giggled of course. "Now, do you see why Yua needed another male in her life? Suguru… you thought was brought back for you, when in reality, he was brought back for her. People grow and change over the years, at the same time, I think Suguru has something to offer Yua as well."
He turned away at that. Gojo still has strong feelings for Suguru, in truth, he married and fell for Yua since he believed HIS Suguru wouldn't return, but then Suiryu had to go and bring not just him back, but the others as well… Still… it hurts to know that he's not enough for her. At the same time, it hurts that his friend isn't the same friend he once had.
"Then… tell me what to do… how do I fix things with the five? I… Saitama is still upset with me and rightfully so!"
She nodded to this. "Saitama won't be changing for a while… this is part of my uncle's curse as well, to build resentment in a closely knitted family. He's achieved that so far. But this isn't something I will allow to linger either." She decreed. "Give it time, I assure you, it will work out. What will need to be done though is you need to have children once more, but… not from you."
Satoru paused, but sighed aloud. "Suguru… you want Suguru to have the next brood?" he asked bluntly.
"If he is willing and Yua wants to, yes. I do believe Suguru needs to have the next brood… and I think it should be sooner than later."
This, caught him off guard. "Huh?"
"In fact, we are going to get very, very busy around here…" she said offhandedly.
"HUH!?"
"Oh, Satoru, be a dear and tell Yua I would like to speak with her and Suguru when they get a chance. As well, I'll talk to Saitama and his siblings later… oh and there is that talk with Chusi I need to have…"
He couldn't help but feel, Lady Tiamat was taking over Yua's duties around here!
