OMG,My first fanfic. I hope you like it.
Hades was pacing the halls as he waited for Hacate to say that Persephone and his child were okay when the big grandfather clock at the end of the hallway struck midnight and it had just turned Halloween when Hacate finally came out of Persephone's chambers.
The black haired Goddess had a smirk on her lips when she saw the Lord of the Underworld sprint over to her.
"How are they?" He asked with concern in his voice.
Hacate smiled up at him warmly as she told him the news. "They're both fine Hades." She smirked as the tall God sighed in relief.
Before he could open his mouth again she answered his unspoken question. "It's a girl."
She said and giggled at how his face lit up at the words.
"Well? Don't just stand there,go see her." Hacate prodded him to the room she had just exited out of.
2 weeks later
Persephone had to go back to the mortal world Hades knew that,and he wanted her to stay just like there was a sense of dread this time. "But I'm sure Demeter will understand." Hades pleaded his wife. "Hades I can't just leave my mother alone to do the harvest by herself." Persephone said with an apologetic smile over her shoulder as she walked over to see her daughter. "But I have to run the Underworld." Hades told her. "So you're saying that the Underworld is more important then caring for your daughter?" Persephone said with a raised eye brow. "What? No that's not what I'm saying at all!" Hades said with a hurt expression. "All I'm saying is that I'm very busy running my kingdom that I don't know when I can check on her." he said looking guiltily at the sleeping baby that rested in her mothers Persephone shot him the smirk that he always dreaded. " you're thinking,the answer is no." Hades said in the hopes that it would stop whatever was about to happen. "Thanatos!" Persephone yelled with a big smile on her face as Hades put a hand over his face in exasperation. Presephone looked down in her arms to see the infant hadn't woken up from her peaceful sleep.
"Yes your majesty?" asked Thanatos as he came into the room.
"Do you know how to take care of a child?" Persephone asked knowing full well what the answer was. "Umm,yes?" Thanatos said confused as to why he was being asked this question. "Good while I am up at the mortal world could to take care of Macaria?" Persephone asked.
Thanatos looked at the baby with a tender look on his face.
"Sure.I don't think that she'll be much trouble." he said with a smile on his face as Persephone handed her daughter to she did so she looked at Hades with a smirk. "Thank you for agreeing to this Thanatos." Persephone said walking over to her husband. "Of course your Majesty." Thanatos said in a whisper being careful not to wake the sleeping princess in his arms."Alright I have to good for Thanatos okay?" Persephone said to the now awake baby. "Goodbye your Majesty." Thanatos said waving the Queen of the Underworld off.
