FILE 12 - My Starlight Parade, Part 4
Previously on FILE 11, Aiya and Finn with the help of Tetsu and Kuro managed to contain Bloodhound. However, it broke free and tried to attack Aiya. That is until a mysterious Stand User shot out a projectile toward Aiya. What will the future hold for Aiya?

As if on instinct, she ducked as the projectile was heading toward her and hit Bloodhound.

Bloodhound suddenly wobbled around, and fell to the ground, like it was being injected with some sort of tranquilizer.

"Aiya!" Lobo tried to run up to Aiya, but like Bloodhound, he slowly lost consciousness and fell flat on the ground.

"Starlight Parade." The female voice spoke out, as she stepped forward, revealing to be Mariah Machi. "The 'love' that will pierce through anything."

"MARIAH?!" Tetsu is surprised, as she healed her wound with Iron Maiden now that Bloodhound's effect on wounds faded. "I mean, I should have expected you, considering the heart thing."

"You were the one who stole him from me, Aiya," Mariah said.

"What…?" Aiya is baffled by what Mariah said.

"Don't lie to me," Mariah replied. "And you too, Tetsu. She got you under her spells as well!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" Tetsu flushed heavily as she covered her face.

Aiya chuckled at the sight of Tetsu covering her face out of embarrassment. "Aw, you're red like a tomato."

"Shut up!" Tetsu glared at her. "Aiya, this is not time for jokes!"

Mariah rolled her eyes. "And this is why you two are impossible."

"Ahem." Kuro calmly inserted himself into the conversation "May I ask, who's the 'him'?"

"Lobo." Mariah replied.

"That makes sense," Kuro replied. "Your Stand has been used to nullify his Stand during these past 2 weeks."

"Yeah, but I can't seem to try and make it better for him." Mariah slid her hand across Lobo's face. "He's fine. Just a bit too tired."

"What do you mean by making it better for him?" Aiya was confused by what Mariah said.

"You see," Mariah Machi explained her Stand. "My Stand, Starlight Parade can 'daze' someone with a projectile that I can shoot out from my hand. It can also lighten up the mood of someone."

"But no matter how hard I tried." She continued. "I just couldn't lighten up Lobo, unlike you."

Aiya realizing the somber tone within Mariah decided to cheer her up. "Come on now, you can do it!"

"Aiya, I don't think you should be thanking the person who shot you with that weird… thing…" Finn said, with a hint of concern in his voice.

"Don't try to be all friendly with me, Aiya Aizawa," Mariah said before glancing at Aiya. Her hatred intensified

"Well… that was unexpected." Tetsu said, still flustered a bit.

"Why?" Kuro asked, raising an eyebrow. "Is it because you think that Aiya should have made friends with her?"

"Oh shut up, Kuro." Tetsu groaned in embarrassment. "Do you want me to cut your check again?"

"Of course not." Kuro calmly responded but his calm demeanor can be seen cracking a bit. "Anyway, we should return to class now… Otherwise, the teachers that we couldn't bribe will catch us."

"Good point." Tetsu looked at Bloodhound that was fainted on the floor. She came closer as she attempted to take off the red jacket on Bloodhound.

"Wait," Aiya said, stopping Tetsu from removing the jacket. "What?" Tetsu is annoyed by the interruption.

Aiya touched Bloodhound's head with her palm. "It's okay, buddy."

"What is she doing?" Tetsu looked at Kuro and Finn.

"Don't ask me." Finn replied. "Same to me." Kuro also replied to Tetsu.

"I have some kind of natural ability to myself." She continued to pet Bloodhound. "I can sense animal's feelings. Bloodhound is just being hurt…"

"Aiya, you idiot," Mariah spoke up. "You can wake it up and have it try to kill us."

"Trust me, I believe in it." AIya said.

Lobo began to wake up from his fall. "Ugh… what happened?"

"Oh good, you're awake." Mariah walked up to him, her tone shifted to caring as she knelt to check on Lobo. "Are you okay?!"

"Good boy." Aiya continued to pet Bloodhound.

"Aw… It does look cute." Lobo chuckled at the sight of Aiya petting his Stand while it was sleepy.

"My Stand's effectiveness is mostly on Stand thankfully." Mariah walked up to Bloodhound, before sensing some sort of 'aura' from Aiya.

"Wait, are you trying to tame Bloodhound with your Stand ability?" Mariah asked.

"I mean…" Aiya replied. "There's no harm in trying."

"You're so idiotic, Aiya." Mariah chuckled, before taking off the red jacket from Bloodhound and de-summoning it.

"Oh right!" Aiya immediately remembered that they needed to go back to class. She grabbed both Finn and Lobo before rushing out of the door. "Thanks for the help today, you three!"

After Aiya left with Finn and Lobo, Mariah turned to Tetsu and Kuro.

"What do you guys see in that girl?" Mariah said. "She's been here only for 2 days and look at the damage she caused."

"Well… It's nothing I couldn't handle." Tetsu tried to defend Aiya.

"Stop defending her, Tetsu." Mariah sighed.

"I am not defending her!" Tetsu angrily replied. "I just like having… a friend okay?!"

"Oh?" Mariah jokingly replied. "The majesty wants friends? How cute."

"WHY YOU!" Tetsu attempts to run at Mariah, trying to punch her but is stopped by Kuro.

"Master, we're still in school." Kuro calmly said. "We can't bribe the police."

"Will you stop calling me 'master'?!" Tetsu angrily said. "Just call me Tetsu!"

"Anyway, Mariah-" Tetsu looked at Mariah, but she had left the cafeteria.

"Dammit! Wait up!" Tetsu and Kuro ran out of the cafeteria and back to their class.

9:35 AM, Class 5-A

The atmosphere was calm in class. The 3rd period went by nicely.

The school bell rang, indicating the end of the Physics period. As Mrs. Yamaka walked through the door, a new teacher that Aiya had never seen before entered the class.

The class stands up, greeting her in unison. "Good morning, Mrs. Tsuki!"

Tsuki Matsumoto, a Literature teacher. She's a kind and loving teacher and likes to share her life story a lot.

Mrs. Tsuki placed her bags onto the teacher's table and wrote the title onto the chalkboard, it read "Romeo and Juliet".

She began her lesson with great enthusiasm. "Today, we'll be diving into 'Romeo and Juliet,' one of Shakespeare's most famous plays."

The class indulged in engaging lectures, but as usual, she quickly transitioned her life story as a parallel between her life and Shakespeare's theme.

As she was writing the structure for the story, she spoke up. "You know, this reminds me of a story that I had."

The class leaned in, seemingly interested in her story.

"There was this cat that I loved so much." She said with a soft voice. "One day, it went missing… I got separated from it, just like Romeo and Juliet. That week I couldn't sleep whatsoever."

"However," She continued, small tears run down her cheeks. "After that week, my kind neighbor had found it and returned it to me. Unlike the tragic ending of Romeo and Juliet, it was a happy ending for me."

The class groaned at the lame story, but Aiya perked up. Her love for cats resonated with Tsuki's story.

A phone call from Tsuki's bag interrupted the lesson. She took her phone out as she answered. "Excuse me for a moment, class."

"Yes, dear?" Tsuki said to the other side of the phone. "I see… You still haven't found it." Aiya can see tears dripping down from Tsuki's eyes.

After the phone call, she swiped her tears away as she put her phone away. "Sorry for that class"

Aiya felt uneasy, she knew there was something wrong. So she decided to ask Lobo and Finn if they wanna tag along after class to see what was up with Mrs. Tsuki.

"Nope, sorry. I got homework." said Lobo, shaking his head.

"Same, I got a ton of homework!" replied Finn, looking equally apologetic.

Aiya sighed, feeling a bit disappointed. But she still decided to investigate anyway, just alone. She knew that Tetsu and Kuro were also busy with their tight schedule today.

11:15 AM, Jamiroquai High School

After the last period bell rang, the chaos of the students trying to push each other to go home was immense. Aiya found herself caught in the middle of shoving and shouting, stumbling her way through. "Excuse me! Coming through!" She called out as she narrowly avoided backpacks at her face.

However, as she was about to walk out, she saw Mrs. Tsuki in the parking lot talking with Mariah Machi. Could Mariah have been the 'dear' that Tsuki was referring to on her phone?

Regardless, Aiya felt bad for Tsuki, sensing there was something wrong that happened.

She walked up to them, unknowingly throwing herself into another bizarre adventure.

Stand Info:

『Stand Name』- Starlight Parade

『Stand User』- Mariah Machi

Ability - Can shoot out a heart-shaped projectile that dazes enemies. This works by having Mariah or her Stand posing their hand in a Y-shape. This ability can be used without her Stand but is less effective.

FILE 13 - Let's Go Catch a Cat!

Author's Note: Ima be taking a break for 1-2 days for summer. If you have enjoyed my story thus far, I appreciated it. You can also leave a review if you want to! This is my first time writing a multi-chapter story so I can accept all criticisms thrown at me.

Plans in the future: Introduce some of the teachers, as well as a new class entirely, Class 6-E. Just for the hype, the Stand names of the 4 Stand users in that class are: Basket Case, Amts Marching, Voyager and Ocean Man.

Each class gonna have 4 Stand users each, so be sure to tune in for the next chapter.
