Chris: On the latest episode of Total Drama Island! The contestants were forced to face their deepest, darkest fears. All of the Screaming Gophers broke their long losing streak because they overcame their fears! Some cowards on Killer Bass broke their winning streak. Tyler was eliminated because a lot of people on the team didn't like him! Will the Screaming Gophers be able to maintain their winning streak? Will Courtney be able to save herself from elimination? (Intro)
The scene shows both teams gathered near the pier with Chris.
Chris: Bass, Gophers, today's challenge is a true summer camp experience. A canoe trip. You'll be paddling your canoes across the lake… [spookily] to Boney Island! When you get there, you must portage your canoes to the other side of the island, which is about a two-hour hike through treacherous, dense jungle.
Geoff: What are we gonna do?
DJ: We're gonna move the canoes and take them to the other side.
Geoff: Oh, I see. Thanks dude.
DJ: Your welcome dude.
Chris: When you arrive at the other end of the island, you'll build a rescue fire that will be judged by me. The first team to paddle home and return their canoes to the beach is the winner of invincibility! Move, campers, move
The campers start running.
Chris: Ohh waitt!
The campers stop.
Chris: One more thing I should mention. Legend has it, if you take anything off the island...you'll be cursed forever!
Chris laughs devilishly and lightning strikes from behind.
The campers look terrified.
Justin: Cursed Island, huh? Just like my "cursed" beauty, huh?
Everyone looks at Justin. They all look confused.
Justin: Or forget about it.
As everyone leaves, Lindsay arrives with her new outfit and a tissue stuck to her foot.
Lindsay: What'd I miss?
Chris: Canoes.
Lindsay goes to catch up with the others.

Gwen: Even though I want to partner with Trent, I don't know who to be with since he broke my trust in the last fight.

The scene shows Gwen going down. She sees Trent. Trent points her towards the canoe but Gwen looks the other way and sees Leshawna.
Gwen: Leshawna, do you want to be my partner?
Leshawna: Of course girl!
Gwen smiles and goes with Leshawna.
Justin Lindsay and Beth appear on the other side.
Justin: Girls, which one of you wants to be my partner?
Lindsay: Mee! Mee! Mee!
Beth: Me too!
Justin: Nice, I would be so honored to be partnered with two attractive girls.
Lindsay giggles and blushes.
Lindsay: Oh Justin, come on. You're so hot!
Beth looked jealous.

Beth: Okay, Tyler's been eliminated for 5 days now, but Lindsay has come around really fast. She's trying to hit on all the guys and it's completely unbearable. Doesn't this girl know that she has a boyfriend?!

Lindsay: I know Taylar was eliminated, but there are still some fresh fish here and we have to make the most of them.

The scene shows Killer Bass.
Sadie: Katie, do you want to be my partner?
Katie: I would, but are you sure you don't want to be with Duncan?
Sadie: I'm sure. Duncan is good and all, but he can't be better than you!
Katie: Aww Sadie! Let's go to our canoe!

Katie: Okay, so I was actually trying to make things right between Duncan and Sadie. I wanted to send them away together, but I think Sadie figured it out. Am I pushing her away? I was just trying to be better friends, I swear!

Sadie: I understand what Katie was trying to do, but we came here to spend more time together and I don't want to ruin that. Duncan is nice, but I'm still not over that insult.

The scene shows Bridgette. She was looking for a partner. Then she sees Geoff waving at her and then she sees Courtney on the other side and smiles.
Bridgette: Court, will you be my partner?
Courtney: I'll be right behind you Bridge!
Geoff looked surprised and disappointed.

Geoff: I thought Bridgette and I were close and that we had a thing going on...I'm sure she just wanted to spend a little more time with her best friend. That's fine.

Geoff: Excellent!

DJ: I actually thought about going with Katie but I didn't want to push her. Geoff is a great option for me.

Harold and Eva walk together and Duncan follows. Harold sighs and Eva glares at Duncan.
Heather realizes she's partnerless and touches Trent's shoulder when she sees that he is too.
Heather: You and I are partners. Case closed.
Trent nods and they leave.
The scene cuts to DJ and Geoff.
DJ touches the canoe.
DJ: Dude, canoes overturn a lot?
Geoff: No, they don't.
DJ relaxes.
Geoff: Unless we get into rough waters.
Geoff gives DJ his life jacket.

DJ: When I was eight, my brothers dared me to jump off the high-dive platform at the pool. I was scared, but I jumped. I wasn't gonna let them call me chicken. I landed on my butt. Sounds better than a belly flop, right? Wrong. My trunks went so far up my butt, I had to go to the hospital and get them removed. They invited a new word for what I did. The wedgie flop. I've been afraid of water ever since.

The scene shows everyone rowing and then it cuts to Katie and Sadie.
Sadie: Remember that canoe race we had when we were in school?
Katie: Yeah! We were partners and we argued over who would lead and who would not!
Sadie: It almost ended our friendship but we worked it out and won that race.
Katie: I miss those days.
Sadie: Me too... sometimes I think I don't spend as much time with you as I used to.
Katie: Why would you think that?
Sadie: I don't know... I just realized I spend more time with Duncan here than you. Duncan is sweet and hot but I don't know if he's the right guy for me.
Katie: I bet he does. He was really sorry about the insult he gave you that night when we were camping in the woods and apologized to you many times.
Sadie: Right... time will tell if he's the right person...
Sadie decided to change the subject because she was feeling overwhelmed.
Sadie: So? You and DJ huh? How's it going?
Katie blushes.
Katie: DJ? We're just friends. I mean, the vase he made me for craft day was really cute, but...
Sadie: If you're worried about flowers, I can get you some new ones, you know.
Katie: I know, but... why does the topic always come down to love?
Sadie: I don't know. Maybe we've really grown up, huh?
The two of them look at each other for a moment and then laugh.
Sadie: No way!
Katie: Definitely not!
Afterwards, they both continue chatting while they row.

Katie: I know DJ and I have been close lately but... I don't even know if I really like him.
Katie sighs.
Katie: Like Sadie said. Time will tell...

Sadie: I was both serious and joking about us growing up, but there might be some truth to that... some things are so complicated and growing up in some places is so painful... I hope I don't get too depressed about it.

Sadie: I'm definitely not even going to think about it.

The scene shows Lindsay leaning on Justin's lap a moment later.
Beth is surprised.
Lindsay: Do you mind if I take a nap?
Justin: Definitely not.
Beth gets jealous and growls.

Beth: Who does she think she is? I know Heather and I are on the same page but I can't stand her! She's so annoying and on the other hand it's so annoying how she forgets Tyler so easily! If we lose I know who will be gone soon!

The scene shows Geoff and DJ.
Geoff: Can I ask you something?
DJ: Of course. Come on, dude.
Geoff: After the gift I gave Bridgette, she's been acting weird towards me...
On the other side, Courtney and Bridgette were talking.
Bridgette: Oh my gosh, Court! It was so bad.
Flashback
Bridgette: (Narrator) After brushing my teeth, I went back to the cabin.
The scene shows Bridgette entering the cabin.
Bridgette: (Narrator) After doing so much that day, I decided to go to sleep.
Bridgette yawns and goes to her bed.
Bridgette: (Narrator) Just as I was about to fall asleep, I noticed a lump in my blanket.
Bridgette raises an eyebrow when she sees something wrong with the blanket.
Bridgette: (Narrator) When I pull the blanket away...
Bridgette pulls the blanket away and...
Bridgette: (Narrator) I saw that!
A heart frame with pictures of Bridgette and Geoff cut out of it is revealed under the blanket, and Bridgette screams.

The scene cuts back to Geoff and DJ.

Bridgette: It gets worse. Etched into the back was an inscription that said…

Geoff: "I hope you think of me whenever you drop lose change into this."
DJ cups his head.
On the other side, Bridgette is moaning and trying to choke herself while Courtney cups her head.
Geoff: Not good?
DJ: I don't mean to upset you, but that was horrible. I think it could use a new definition.
Geoff nods.
DJ: Look, dating a girl is like dating a rabbit. You shouldn't make any sudden moves. If you keep pushing her, the rabbit will run away and go to other rabbits. So what I'm saying is...-
Geoff: So I screwed up?
DJ: You screwed up, dude but I can help you with that.
Geoff: Thanks, dude. You're the best. Katie is so lucky to have you.
DJ blushes.

DJ asks worriedly.

Gwen: Trent... promised to stand by me in the last fight and that he'd get me out right away when the time was up, but he didn't.
Leshawna: So are you mad at him about this?
Gwen: Yes and no. Is it wrong for me to be mad at him?
Leshawna: Definitely not, but I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose. Also, you should talk to him about this soon. It'll do both of you good.

Leshawna: Do you ever feel like you've done something wrong?

The scene shows the contestants worried.
Then they see Boney Island.
Heather: Hey, that must be the Boney Island that Chris mentioned!
Trent: It sure looks like it.
Then everyone arrives there.
Beth: This place really does look haunted.
A haunted voice is heard from behind.
Gwen: Let's just mind our own business.
Gwen and Leshawna said as they carried their canoes.
The scene shows everyone carrying their canoes and running.
The Screaming Gophers get in front of Killer Bass.
Everyone was looking around. There were a lot of skulls around. Then a tree falls and the Screaming Gophers are trapped.
Heather: Perfectllll...!
Heather said sarcastically, dripping the words with venom.
Then a bunch of eyes are seen from the bushes.
On the other side, Killer Bass catches up with the others.
Katie: I think I saw something there.
Sadie: Oh my God! Me too!
The scene shows the beavers coming out.
Beth: Monster Beavers!
Everyone starts running away from the beavers.

A remnant of the Pleistocene Era, the woolly beaver is a day-active rodent indigenous to Boney Island. Oh yeah, and they're meat eaters.
Chris winks at the screen

The scene shows the Screaming Gophers running away from the beavers. They all run screaming as the beavers follow them. While the Screaming Gophers are still running away from the beavers, a bear in the background is shown scratching its back in a tree, and then puts on its glasses when it sees the others.

The Bear is seen with glasses on. The Bear thinks at first and then shrugs.

The scene shows the Screaming Gophers still running. They reach a lake and realize they're trapped.
Trent: Dead end!
They then stop but luckily the beavers don't follow them and they go.
Trent: Hey, they're going!
Beth: I read somewhere. Beavers don't like water.
Leshawna: But I saw them in the water a few days ago...
Beth: Maybe they're a different type of beaver... I forget the name of that beaver species but...-
Heather: After a fun fact, let's go guys. Just because we won the last one doesn't mean we'll win again.
Trent: Heather's right. Let's go.
Gwen raises an eyebrow.

Gwen: Since when did Trent start agreeing with Heather? He even snapped at the talent show, and now it seems... suspicious that he didn't...

The scene shows Killer Bass running away from the geese.
The bear breaks his glasses. (Probably because it doesn't make him look smart lol)
Eva: Someone do something!
Geoff: Wait.
Geoff pulls out bread from his pocket.
DJ: Bread? What were you going to do with it?
Geoff blushes.
Geoff: I had plans for a romantic picnic with Bridgette.
DJ: Not bad, but with just this bread?
Bridgette: Whatever you say, throw the bread away!
Geoff sadly throws the bread away and the geese come to where the bread was thrown and eat it.
Sadie: It worked!
Heather: And that makes it easier for us to win!
Heather says this as the Screaming Gophers pass Killer Bass.
Killer Bass is surprised.
Eva: Come on, the race isn't over yet and we have to give those Gophers maniacs another defeat!
Eva says this aggressively.
Harold: Okay, but isn't that a little too aggressive?
Duncan: No time for talking, nerd. Let's go!
The scene then cuts to the Screaming Gophers.
Beth: Which way do you think we should go?
Lindsay: We'll go wherever Justin says, right Justin?
Justin: Absolutely, but it wouldn't hurt to leave that to the direction experts.
Lindsay: Okay.
Lindsay chuckles.

Lindsay: Justin is so smart and so handsome! The guy I talked to before wasn't so handsome and smart...

Trent: I think we should go left.

Courtney: I saw the Gophers going left.
Eva: Then we'll go right.
Harold: Are you sure because the left way seems more correct...-
Duncan: Save your nerdy stuff for later, four eyes. Let's go.

Harold: I'm so sick of Duncan! I'm sick of him! He's been bullying me for days, he's nothing more than a bitch! I can see why Courtney hates him. He needs to be sent packing soon, but how...?

The scene shows the Screaming Gophers carrying their canoes and walking. They are seen walking smoothly without any problems, but then Justin sinks into the swamp.
Justin: I don't mean to scare you guys, but I'm sinking!

Chris: I've never seen such stupidity in my life!
Chris was laughing.
Chris: I put it there on purpose, but I didn't think anyone would get stuck. Especially while walking!

Beth runs with her determined look and finds a rope and after swinging on it Beth hits the wall but the rope falls into Justin's hand and when he grabs it he reaches his other hand out to Lindsay and they both get out of the swamp.
Trent Gwen Heather Leshawna: Woohhhooo! Yeah! Great!
Justin: That was awesome.
Beth walks up to them shaken.
Justin: Good job Beth.
Lindsay: You're our hero Bertha!
Beth continues to smile as she ignores Lindsay.
Trent: Where did you learn to do that?
Leshawna: Yeah, that was impressive girl!
Beth: Actually it's because I've been watching too many action movies lately.
Leshawna: You must like action movies. They can teach you some awesome moves.
Beth: Definitely.
Gwen: Now that you're done with the nice chat can we go? Let's not forget we're in a competition, guys.
Leshawna: Gwen's right. Let's go.
The Screaming Gophers continue on their way.
On the other side, Killer Bass is walking carrying their canoe.
Chris: (Narrator) Just when Killer Bass is doing well...
Geoff suddenly trips over something and falls to the ground.
Chris: (Narrator) ... disaster strikes.
Geoff: Ohhh my leg! It hurts so bad!
Geoff tries to lift his leg but can't.
Geoff: I'm done, I'm done! Why did it have to be like this? Whhhhhyyyyy?!
Bridgette: Geofff!
Bridgette anxiously walks over to Geoff.
Geoff: You have to go on without me, guys... I'll hold you back...
DJ catches Courtney as Courtney leaves.
DJ: No, we're not going anywhere! No one gets left behind while I'm around! Got it?!
Katie smiled.

Katie: Did you see DJ's stern attitude there? That was hot!
Katie blushes as she realizes what he said, but she comes to.
Katie: So it was something that had to be done. No need to make a big deal out of it.
Katie blushes again.

Courtney: This didn't go over well for me... think twice before you do something wrong.

Geoff: I thought I would die and not survive, but they still didn't leave me behind.
Geoff sheds tears.

DJ: Geoff still didn't give up. He's a very brave man.

The scene shows Geoff's leg in detail (don't forget the splinter and the little hairy detail ;)) DJ and Harold were carrying Geoff who was on the canoe. When Killer Bass arrived on the beach, they saw the Screaming Gophers and were surprised. They were all smiling and Beth was waving warmly. On the other side, Heather and Leshawna were trying to light the fire.
Heather: Come on, burn already!
Then both girls look at Killer Bass and see that they have already made the fire. Courtney was blowing on it to make it even bigger.
Heather: How did they do it so fast?
Duncan shows the lighter.
Leshawna: Isn't that a trick?
Gwen: I don't think Chris would mind.
Heather: Reasonable. It's so obvious that they support that disgusting team!
Leshawna: Come on guys, let's collect more sticks.
They all go and start collecting sticks.
The scene shows Beth Gwen and Lindsay collecting sticks.
Lindsay drops the sticks she collected as she walks into the bushes and as she picks them up, something catches her eye.
Lindsay: What's this?
Lindsay asks, looking at her tiki idol.

Lindsay: I can't believe I found the Joker! In the Survivor seasons I've watched, they talk about a joker that will save you from elimination and whichever contestant finds it can use that joker to save themselves from elimination and I found it! Now I know for sure that I won't be eliminated!

The scene shows Geoff slowly crawling, holding a few sticks in his hand.
Courtney was looking at him strangely.
Geoff throws the sticks in his hand over the campfire.
DJ: Bridge, you had first aid training, right?
Bridgette: Yeah? Why do you ask that?
DJ: I was saying you should look at that. It could be gangrene.
Geoff: Or maybe forest rot...
DJ: Athlete's foot...
DJ is disgusted.
Bridgette walks over to Geoff.
DJ smiles as Courtney glares at DJ, then walks over to him.
Courtney: You know I can do that too, right?
DJ: Yeah, but Geoff wants special treatment. He's not a backslider.
Courtney shows her two eyes to him and DJ. (I'm watching you look) then Katie walks over to DJ.
Katie: That was really sweet of you.
DJ: Thanks, I owe Geoff a lot. I had to do him this favor.
Katie: You know what? Whoever gets to have you is very lucky.
Katie leaves.
DJ blushes.

DJ: I think I found the owner of my heart.
DJ smiled blushing.

The two friends winked at each other as Bridgette tended to Geoff's wound.
Courtney: I don't think that's going to be enough.
Eva: You heard the girl. We need more sticks, come on!
Harold, in a moment of fear (reason still unknown), grabs all the shovels and throws them all into the fire.
Killer Bass looks shocked.
Bridgette: So how do we get home now?
Eva: Good job, nerd! You just won yourself an elimination! If we lose, you and your ass are in big trouble!
Harold looked at everyone with fearful eyes.

Harold: I don't know what came over me at that moment, but if we lost, me and my ass could be in big trouble...

The scene shows Beth walking towards the others with something different in her hand.
Leshawna: Gurrl, what's that in your hand?
Beth: Izzy taught me before I left. We're gonna win this with the fire starter I made out of tree sap and sand.
Leshawna: Good job, girl.
Beth: And stand back. Because this place is gonna catch fire soon.
Everyone stands back.
Beth throws the fire starter (you could call it a resin ball) in her hand and it explodes like a bomb and creates a huge fire.
The fire also hits the helicopter that Chris and Chef are in and they stand back.
Chef: Hey! Watch out girl!
Killer Bass looks shocked by the fire from the opposing team.
Chris: The Screaming Gophers win the fire-making race!
They all couldn't cheer because they were shocked by the fire.
Heather: Izzy taught you some useful things. Good job Beth. I'm impressed.
Beth smiles.

Beth: That's the first time Heather has said "well done" to me and appreciated what I did! She wouldn't normally even do that. I think I'll give her another chance.

Heather: Beth has been more helpful lately, while Lindsay has definitely not. I would easily vote her out in my alliance, but... she makes me feel good in a way...
Heather shows her soft side for the first time on screen.
Heather: But that doesn't mean I'm going to take her to the end, I came here to win, not to find friends. If Lindsay doesn't change her attitude, she'll be walking down the pier of shame in the near future.

Gwen and Trent smile at each other as they walk away, while Heather and Leshawna look at each other with spiteful looks.
On the other side, Killer Bass was thinking about how they were going to go without a paddle.
Bridgette: What are we going to do now without a paddle?
Eva: Yes... thanks again, Harold!

The Screaming Gophers were looking at the other team.
Justin and Beth were glaring at Lindsay angrily.
Eva didn't see her way so they crashed into something and they all looked like they were thrown with the canoes (That's how it looks in the original)
Chris: And Killer Bass wins this challenge as compensation for his previous loss!
Killer Bass cheers.
The Screaming Gophers were very disappointed when they got to land.
Gwen wasn't that upset because she was with Trent.
Beth: We lost because of you! You died!
Lindsay: (Speaking to herself) At least I'm safe tonight because of the idol I found.
Lindsay was smiling confidently.
Beth: Did you say something Lindsay?
Lindsay: No, I'm really tired today, I need to lie down for a bit. I'll see you later.
Lindsay waves to her teammates and leaves.
The others had already found their elimination partners, but Heather wasn't all that happy about it, on the contrary, she was the only one who was upset.

Chris mockingly belittles the team while the others glare at her. (Except Lindsay, she's just sulking)
Chris: Since you all voted, I'll give you your marshmallows.
Lindsay still looks confident while the others are either staring at her or a little worried.
Chris: Trent.
Trent cheers and stands up.
Chris: Gwen.
Gwen cheers too and when Trent turns to Gwen, he's happy that Gwen is safe and they both smile at each other.
Chris: Leshawna.
Leshawna gives him a ''you got it right'' look.
Chris: Justin.
Justin takes his marshmallow and gets back in his seat.

Lindsay: But how is that possible? On Survivor, these jokers are supposed to bring good luck and protect us from elimination!
Chris: Yeah, but this isn't your typical Survivor, and we never told you this season that we were hiding an idol and you had to find it. So that means you're eliminated from Total Drama Island.
Lindsay sighs.
Lindsay: I wish you all the best. I hope the one who deserves it wins.
Lindsay then turns to Beth.
Lindsay: And Beth, I hope your karma catches up with you soon and gives you what you deserve.
Beth just frowns and eats her marshmallow.
Lindsay: Okay, my time here is up. Goodbye, I love you all so much, just know that.
Lindsay is walking down the pier of shame with a scowl on her face when someone stops her.
Heather: Lindsay, wait!
Lindsay stops.
Lindsay: Heather!
Heather hugs Lindsay.
Heather: I never thought I'd say these things, but at first I was just using you, but as the days went by I started to actually see you as a friend, my dear.
Lindsay: Really?
Heather: Yeah, but don't say that too often. I don't want to be seen as soft, weak, and a loser in people's eyes.

The scene then shows Trent and Gwen sitting together on the dock. They both look at each other and smile.
Trent: Gwen... are you still mad at me?
Gwen: Yes at first but... I know you didn't do it on purpose, Trent.
Trent: I know I'm just so...-
Gwen kisses Trent's cheek and Trent blushes.
Gwen: Just enjoy the moment...
The two continue to watch the stars.

Note: Hello everyone! I'm Samota. I've started the new episode now. I was generally ready for the scenarios in the episode, but I realized that I wasn't like that while writing. First of all, since I was planning to eliminate Lindsay in this episode, I have to badmouth her, in other words, I'm making her an unreliable girlfriend, which she was in that episode anyway. I realized that I wrote Katie and Sadie a little separately because they're always talking to other people and don't have much time for each other. There are some conversations about growing up, and I cried a little while writing them. (It really is.) Afterwards, I'm trying to change some scenes. For example, the goose scene focused on Killer Bass. There was no one to do that for the Gophers. I didn't take into account 2 important moments of Cody in the episode... but I don't regret eliminating him. If I had eliminated Justin, it would have been a ridiculous, illogical, meaningless, unreasonable and unfair elimination. Cody's elimination was also a bit unfair, but at least he had a reason and logic, so I don't regret it. I've finished the '90s of the episode right now. I'll share it with you soon. If I eliminate Justin, the number of men will decrease even more and I won't be able to find an elimination for episode 9. Also, I eliminated Lindsay because I didn't want to keep her for too long.
