Prompt: "Are you there?"
"Physically, yes. Mentally is debatable."
Prudence "Pru Beck was thanking everything in the known world that she was always so cynical. This job had been one that she had tried to talk the Leverage team out of since the start of it. Rolling her eyes, Pru leaned into the corner as she turned her Harley onto the street that the motel Eliot had messaged her was on. Pulling up to it, she sighed as she parked, removed her helmet, and made her way to his room with her first aid kit in hand.
She had known that something wasn't right when Sophie kept insisting that all Nate needed was revenge on Blackpoole and IYS and that the two Davids were the way in. now, Parker was with Sterling, Alec was holed up with Sterling's men in the offices, and Eliot was hurt. Pru smirked slightly as she went up the stairs; at least she had insisted that she work entirely remotely for this one, making it so that none of Sterling's men knew who she was.
As she reached the top of the stairs, her burner phone began to ring once again. Pulling it out of her jacket pocket, she answered it without even looking. "Go."
"Pru?"
"What's up, Nathan?"
She could practically hear Nate's eye roll over the phone as she approached the door to Eliot's room. "Are you there yet?"
Knocking on the door, she smirked wider. "Physically, yest. Mentally is always debatable."
"Prudence."
"Oh, relax, Nathan. I just got here, so give me about ten or fifteen minutes and call us back, alright? Goodbye." Eliot was trying to not smirk as he stood in the doorway in front of her, having heard the majority of the conversation that she had just finished. She just shrugged. "Are you going to let me in, muscle man? 'Cause it looks like you are bleeding all over the floor."
Rolling his eyes, Eliot moved out of the way, looking over her shoulder as she moved almost silently past him. "Pru, is that a 1988 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 in the lot?"
"Yep. And you can ask me all about it as I patch you up. And, dude, did you even duck any of those punches?"
Eliot scoffed as he closed the door. "Sometimes you just have to take a punch or two to make sure that everyone is safe."
"Alrighty then, oh Zen one. Do you want me to help you out or not?"
"I'm coming, I'm coming."
