Looking Around the Black Bulls' Home
"Wow, so this is my room now!" Laphicet looked around the new room he is going to be his from now on.
"It's a little dusty since we haven't gotten any new recruits in while, and Law used to be the new recruit last year." Velvet explained.
"Thank you, it's a little dusty, but I promise to do my best to make this worth my while!" Laphicet smiled proudly as he sat his Grimoire down on a desk.
"You'll have to do some cleaning if you want to make yourself at home here, and you have to make sure that you clean this place regular since this room is your responsibility from now on." Velvet stated.
"Right." Laphicet nodded.
"Oh, and you should probably get started on writing a letter to your village to let them know how you're doing. It's good to keep them updated every once and a while." Velvet advised.
"Okay, but I have to say, you're even nicer than when I first saw you being a scary kind of woman. But you also have your own good side." Laphicet complimented her nicely.
"Even when I'm a monster on the inside?" Velvet asked darkly, looking down at her bandage left arm.
"I don't know about that, but my adopted mother can be like that sometimes when it comes to her books and usual alone sighing time being interrupted." Laphicet mentioned.
Velvet just let out a sigh thinking that this kid has a bigger heart than she realizes almost like Asta, only this one has more manners and not being literally loud like an idiot who was raised in the wild for several years or more.
"To be honest, I didn't think much about joining the Magic Knights before until I got my Grimoire and my fire changed color too." Laphicet explained, emitting a small silver fire from his hand.
"You mean it was a normal color of Fire Magic before?" Velvet asked.
"Yep, but I guess you could say that I have the Devil's luck with me from now on." Laphicet commented as he looks over his Grimoire.
"Devil's luck, huh?" Velvet said, thinking that this kid was telling a bad joke.
But when Velvet looks over to see Laphicet's Grimoire a little more, her eyes widen with shock and felt her whole body had gone cold when she saw the five-leaf clover on his Grimoire then horrible images of blood came sinking into her mind with scares echoing as well.
"Velvet, is everything alright?" Laphicet asked, noticing that Velvet looks a little scared.
"I'm fine, just remember something important. You have a good night." Velvet quickly leaves the room.
"Uh, good night?" Laphicet said it back, not really sure what was that about.
Velvet quickly makes her way to her bedroom and slams the door shut, she is panting a little and tries to calm herself down.
"I can't believe it…" Velvet slide down on the door.
"To think, I would actually meet someone who carries the same thing I have… The same damn curse I was forced to carry for all these years." Velvet brought out her Grimoire from her pouch, being jet-black with dangerous looking red design-like veins and five sharp long triangle parts that are like claws.
And at the center of the Grimoire, a five-leaf clover in red like the color of blood.
(With Laphicet)
Laphicet is writing down a little for his village to let them know that he is doing well, and he made it into the Magic Knights, telling them about the Black Bulls how they are a bunch of crazy knights each in their own unique way.
"Hope to hear from you guys soon, from Laphicet." Laphicet finished writing the letter.
"Now, I just need to get this mailed in the morning and pray that it reaches to them." Laphicet said.
"I can deliver that for you, if you want." Magilou offered, showing herself from a window.
"Magilou! What are you doing here?" Laphicet asked.
"I wanted to see how well you're doing, and I saw the whole thing, you keep on surprising me and all in just one day!" Magilou smiled.
"Wait, you saw it all? Including when Magna threw those fireballs at me and Asta?" Laphicet asked shock, never knowing that Magilou was watching them from afar and yet close by.
"That's right, I was impressed with how you literally took the attack in your hands and threw it right back at the guy! It was insane, so enjoyable!" Magilou laughed smiling.
"I was also curious about that Asta guy, his sword seems to have the abilities to not only cut through magic but also reflect it back as well." Magilou said.
"Yeah, I was thinking that it's like his sword is an Anti-Magic item." Laphicet shared his theory.
"Anti-Magic, now that's something crazy." Magilou commented.
"Yeah, maybe it has something to do with his Grimoire also having a five-leaf clover." Laphicet guessed.
"Wait, wait, wait, hold on. That guy, the loudmouth kid, is also in possession of a five-star Grimoire?" Magilou asked in shock.
"That's right, I saw it myself." Laphicet nodded.
"(Okay, now this is shit crazy! Two people possessing the same number of clover leaves on their Grimoires, this is certainly unheard of and very rare indeed! It's almost like destiny has brough them together for that.)" Magilou thought freaked out a little, but her expression changes to excitement.
"My, oh my, I wonder what kind of chaos you two would bring in this age." Magilou grinned chuckling.
"Huh?" Laphicet was confused about what she just said.
"Nothing. Just talking to myself." Magilou brushed it off. "So, about that letter?"
"Are you sure you want to deliver this, Magilou? My village is pretty far away." Laphicet concerned.
"Don't worry, if I was walking to your village then it would be a hazel, but that won't be a problem since I can fly fast that will take me a few hours or a little more to get to your village." Magilou pointed out, and at her card.
"Oh, that would make sense." Laphicet started to see that.
"Then I leave this letter in your hands to be brought to my mother, Grimoirh." Laphicet handed the letter to her.
"Thank you for trusting me with this." Magilou smiled, taking the letter, and then leaning in to give Laphicet a kiss on the forehead.
Laphicet gasp in shock with his face turning red and his cowlick standing straight up, and his heart is beating like crazy. By the time he collected himself and ask her why she did that, Magilou was already gone.
"…I think it's time for bed." Laphicet said to himself.
(With Rinwell)
"Wow, this room is beautiful!" Rinwell was amazed by her new bedroom.
"Of course, nothing less for one of our own! Take in the beauty of this room where you will live here for the rest of your life!" The vice-captain of the Coral Peacock said.
"Thank you so much for showing me this. I promise not to make a mess of it, and so will Hootle." Rinwell said as Hootle nods.
"I, Kirsch Vermillion, am happy to hear that!" Kirsch smiled.
Kirsch is a young man with long side-parted hair that is tied back and has a braid going across his hairline and a thin band around his head. He has two dark hanging earrings and sports the Coral Peacock vest.
"Now, I will take my leave for you to get custom to this room. We will be meet with the captain in the morning for her to give you the briefing on what you can do as a Magic Knight." Kirsch said before leaving.
"Our new home, Hootle. It's really exciting." Rinwell smiled, but Hootle looks worried for her.
"Okay, now just need to get some answers about that one woman, and I believe the captain would know her." Rinwell said, her eyes looking a little dark with anger.
But her dark mood quickly changes to Laphicet, making her blush a little.
"I hope Laphicet is doing well with the Black Bulls." Rinwell smiled.
(Morning, Maotelus Village)
Grimoirh just got up and let's out a yawn, feeling another morning like before though Laphicet isn't around this, she has been feeling a little lonely without her adopted son.
"And to think, I would get use to living alone like before the time Laphicet came into my life." Grimoirh sighed.
But then she notices a magical presence coming towards her closer, and this one is very familiar.
"Ah, now there's a witch I haven't seen in a long time." Grimoirh hoped onto her Grimoire and fly out of the house.
The little cursed woman looks up to see Magilou coming down while riding her card like a surfboard in the air, she laughs and makes some little sparks of fireworks as she makes her landing.
"Greetings, Magilou the delivery witch is here at your service!" Magilou grinned.
"You haven't change being all dramatic." Grimoirh greeted with a commented.
"Nice to see you still look down on earth, Grimoirh." Magilou smiled.
"So, I take it Laphicet arrived at the capital safely." Grimoirh guessed.
"Without any trouble. After he saved me." Magilou said with a nervous smile.
"Saved you? Oh Magilou, it seems you still get yourself into trouble as always." Grimoirh was surprised and chuckled.
"Lookie here, Grimmy! I got a letter for you from Laphicet!" Magilou quickly handed the letter to her.
"Aw, let see how my little dragon is doing." Grimoirh opened the letter and read it carefully to make sure she doesn't miss a single word, and she became surprised of what it says.
"The Black Bulls Magic Knight Squad. I heard about those lots, causing lots of trouble more than helping and even being called the worst of the worst Magic Knight squads. But something tells me I have nothing to worry about." Grimoirh chuckled.
"Yep, they are loud and crazy as ever." Magilou nodded.
"Oh, says he met another boy named Asta who has no magic power and yet carries a sword that can nullify magic. And his Grimoire has the five-leaf clover too." Grimoirh was surprised.
"I have a feeling those two are going to cause a lot of chaos in this world of ours, the kind of chaos that could save us." Magilou believed.
"Any dangerous people we need to be on the lookout?" Grimoirh asked with concern and serious in her eyes.
"I'm not sure just yet, but I might be close to something that could lead me to the darkness I predicted in my cards." Magilou said.
"And Laphicet is going to get caught in it. I just hope that hope will be prepare by then." Grimoirh sighed.
"Do you want me to keep an eye on him? That boy has piqued my interest, something I hadn't felt in a long time." Magilou smiled.
"No, I believe his new squad will keep him safe. All we can do is see how things will go from here." Grimoirh looked up at the sky.
"(I hope you're doing well, Laphicet.)" Grimoirh thought prayed for his safety.
(With Laphicet)
Laphicet got himself ready for the morning and is ready to see what his new home is like, then he walks out with a smile on his face and sees there is a hallway across from his room.
"That's odd… That hallway definitely wasn't there before." Laphicet said, finding this to be weird.
"Laphicet, good morning!" Asta called out as he and Magna walked up to him.
"Good morning, I just saw something strange, like this hallway wasn't here before." Laphicet pointed at the hallway.
"That's because this whole building shifts around, switching up the locations and such, but like I told Asta, you'll get use to it." Magna explained.
"No way! Now I really want to see how this place was made, what's the history!" Laphicet became very excited about the Black Bulls' Hideout.
"Damn, you're like Eizen when he started living here." Magna said with a sweat drop.
"Now come on, it's time I give you the grand tour of our home!" Magna smirked.
Laphicet and Asta nodded at each other to follow him to the first location he is going to take them.
"This is the dining hall." Magan introduced; this impressed the new boys.
"Eh? Whatcha think? Ridiculously huge, huh?" Magna asked for their opinion while Charmy is here eating a little cake.
"No kidding! It's enormous." Asta commented.
"It's even bigger than the small inn back in my village." Laphicet said.
Next room.
"This is the communal bath." Magna said in a relaxing tone. All three boys are in the hot bath, and Gordon is there too just enjoying a little warm bath though he would like some ice.
"It's so hot." Asta groaned.
"I think this is hotter than a normal bath." Laphicet fanning himself a little.
"I mean, maybe it is for a normal person, but this heat should be nothing to a Black Bull." Magna smirked.
"Well, if this is normal then I better get use to it." Laphicet tried to push himself through this heat.
"Yeah, I'm not done!" Asta yelled a little.
Once they were done with the bath, they encountered a hallway filled with strings and spikes from the ceiling.
"What's with the intense security here?" Laphicet asked.
"That would be where the women's room are. If a guy goes in, the trap magic'll kill him." Magna answered.
"Now I know where to stay clear of." Asta said.
"And here is… the bathroom!" Magna showed them both, but they ended up finding Yami in the bathroom doing shit.
"You're dead." Yami said before the door was immediately slammed shut.
"WE'RE REALLY SORRY, SIR!" The three screamed as they run for their lives.
Next, Magna takes them a room where there is a large cage holding back some vicious big beasts behind it and they look really dangerous that they could kill them.
"What is that?" Laphicet and Asta asked.
"That's the beast room." Magna answered.
"Uh, what for?" Asta asked.
"It's Yami's little hobby. And… I've decided to put you in charge of our furry friends." Magna smirked as he places his hands on their shoulders.
"What?" They were shocked.
"This job is an honor to have, you know. I hate to give it up, but it's yours." Magna shrugged.
"Now wait a minute!" Laphicet saw what Magna is doing. He's just dumping whatever job that involves the beasts here.
"They get fed in the morning and the evening. Go on, give it a shot." Magna handed them meat on sticks and pushes them a little forward.
"Magna! I'm going to get back at you for this!" Laphicet yelled in anger.
Asta and Laphicet carefully tried to give the beasts their morning meat, but two came out and bite on each boy. Then they run for their lives while Magna is laughing hard.
"The Black Bulls' library." Magna showed them the books, and Eizen is here as well.
"Hey guys, enjoying the tour so far?" Eizen asked.
"And this beauty here's the rec room. You can have lots of fun here." Magna smirked.
"Uh, say what now?" Asta was puzzled, and a bit scared at the same time.
"I rather stay away from this room." Laphicet gulped.
Then they all start running together and laughing together, enjoying themselves until Magna suddenly stops for some reason.
"Jeez, give a guy some warning." Asta said.
"Is something wrong, Magna?" Laphicet asked.
But then Laphicet looks ahead to see the reason why Magna stopped, there is a young girl walking up to them and she is wearing the Black Bulls' robe meaning she must be part of the squad too. This is Noelle Silva from the magic exam when she was with Princess Alisha yesterday.
"Well, what do you know. It's your fellow rookie. She's our other new member this year." Magna revealed.
"Cool! Another newbie!" Asta excitedly glad to see someone who is about to become his new friend.
"Hi, I'm Asta from Hage Village. Let's give this all we got." Asta greeted.
"And my name is Laphicet Maotelus from the Maotelus Village. It is an honor to meet you and I hope we can get along as we do our best as Magic Knights." Laphicet greeted with a kind smile.
However, they were caught off guard when Noelle smack Asta's hand away when he wanted to give her a hand of friendship.
"Don't speak to me so casually. You two are little insect of commoners with barely any mana." Noelle insulted which hurts them a little and Magna gets a little mad.
"My name is Noelle Silva, of the royal Silva house." Noelle introduced herself to them.
"Wha… Wait, that means you're related to Nozel Silva?!" Laphicet gasped.

Laphicet and Asta were given a tour of the Black Bulls' Hideout and experience the shifting change of the place as well, and now they have met up with Noelle who gave them a harsh greeting to even brag about her royal status as part of the Silva house.
