The Hirano brothers' legs and arms were uncovered and Mia was in front of them with some papers to give directions. "Aren't the Special Forces coming with us?" Doraemon asks.
"No, most of the Special Forces will be in the city to make the false plan that Baron Kurai's right hand stole more credible until we begin to weaken their forces, but a part of the forces will be waiting for us in another place in the subway, Baron Kurai believes that they will come with us, so it's better if the 6 of us go, they will know about the signal as soon as we give it to them." "Now listen, our objective is to prevent Baron Kurai from taking over Sutirushiti with his master plan that will happen precisely at the Patent Contest award ceremony tomorrow, it's the main event where the mayor and the rest of the public servers will be. Mia looks at the guys seriously "But for now we will limit ourselves to the airships first, they expect us to use conventional routes thanks to the false plan, surely even if we go earlier than stipulated, they will set traps for us. That's why we have a secret route through the pipes that lead directly to an unprotected part of the lair sector. Upon arrival we will put the saboteurs on the airships, let's try to put them in small areas that can't be reached, we will also do it with the modified mechanical robots, that will reset them to free them from the modifications that have been made so that they obey them. We must also disable the explosives and weapons that will be used by the soldiers when they invade the awards ceremony, we will also use the saboteurs."

Mia nods "So, we will split into teams as soon as we arrive: 81 and 807 will take care of the saboteurs, 80 and the mechanical cat will be in charge of freeing the prisoners and taking them to the secret route and I'll take care of the mechanical robots, the explosives and weapons. 52 will be outside the area supervising everything and warning us of any surprises, he will be our eyes"
"Ironic coming from the girl with the bionic eyes" Hikaru laughs saying that but sees how the girl looks at him angrily and shakes his hands "I was just trying to liven up the atmosphere a little!"

"We will move on to the second phase of the plan which is Assistance, you will not like the beginning, because it will be in the morning, the moment where they will wait for us, we will have to pretend that they surprised us, but that is why we will have to fight against them, resisting until it's time to activate the saboteurs. And when that happens, the special forces will act and we will help them control everything. That's why this phase has that name." Mia looks at Nobita. "This is where you will have to do a lot of your part with 80, 81 and with me, 807. Your skill will be the key, that's why we have been training to improve your physique. And if something happens, we will need that mechanic skill to help the special forces. Understood?"
"O-okay. Yes" Nobita says with a little nervousness.

For some it was a party atmosphere, for others it was the definitive moment to stop a monster that has done a lot of damage to their home. Olivier was looking out the window of his office knowing that the plan was already in motion, he had to pretend to be doing nothing in order to achieve tomorrow's success.
On the other hand, Shizuka had woken up and looked out the window of her room lying on her bed. The mere fact of knowing that her friends were now on a risky mission to avoid a great catastrophe didn't let her sleep well. She was more worried about a certain person in particular. So she just clasps her hands with a look of sadness and hope looking at the night sky "Nobita, please come back safely"

"Are you going to fight too Hikaru?" Nobita asks curiously "I thought you didn't like doing it"

After running for a while, Mia stops, making the others do the same. Nobita is the last to arrive because although he improved his physique a little, it was still a bit difficult for him to keep up. "Why are we stopping?" The silly boy asks, breathing deeply.
Doraemon notes that they had stopped at an intersection that led to a road where there were a pair of tunnels, one on the left and one on the right. "Which road do we take now?"
"None" The orange-haired girl's response leaves the other 4 confused "This is the conventional path they expect us to use, this is one of the shortcuts to the lair but Baron Kurai knows about these, so it's not safe use them, it's more likely that they will be full of weapons or soldiers ready to capture us"
"So where is the secret route?" Seiya asks confused.
"It's next to you, right on the right wall." The intern's voice fills the ears of the rest of the team, who turn to look at a large pipe cover that was the size of the mechanical girl which only opened with a steel rudder, apparently it was already rusty because it hadn't been used for years. "The pipe was part of the tin factory that the baron now uses as a lair, it was connected to a tank but that tank has since been removed, so if you use the pipe you will get there without having to use the main entrance or conventional shortcuts"
"Wow, that's very convenient, they really did do a thorough investigation" says the mechanical cat, impressed by that precision.
"But I don't understand. Why, knowing all this, didn't they surprise Baron Kurai a long time ago to prevent him from doing something on Independence Day?" Nobita asks confused.
"It's...complicated" Seiya says "Baron Kurai would have detected that from the beginning and would have escaped, abandoning everything to return in a while as he did 50 years ago, if we want to catch him now, it has to be in the act, for that's because we are going to sabotage his plans, since with everything and evidence we will prevent him from leaving prison when they catch him, it's a good way to see the situation, but knowing what he is like, he would have already escaped."

"It makes sense, it seems like they haven't used it in years" Doraemon takes out the power gloves that looked like welder's gloves and gives them to Nobita, who puts them on, approaching the lid, the black-haired girl turns a little to the side and they both began to turn the handle carefully since they didn't want to break it with so much force from the mechanical arms and the gadget.
Finally the pair manages to open the hatch by pulling to the side revealing the inside of the pipe "Cool, we did it!" Nobita says excitedly as he takes off his gloves and high-fives Melia, but she accidentally knocks him down due to the force of her mechanical arms.
"Sorry Nobita, I got too excited!" The black-haired girl says with a nervous smile to proceed to pick up her partner who also smiles.
"We have to move, we must go to the Baron's lair to proceed with phase 1, time is our worst enemy right now"
The guys agree with what the orange-haired mechanic says, the silly boy returns the gloves to Doraemon who puts them in his pocket and the 5 proceed to enter the secret route with time passing and bringing them closer and closer to the main event of the Independence Day, where it was the limit for the terror of the steel monster to end once and for all.
