INM 5: Deinophobes Nightmare!

A very long time ago, possibly around 65 million years ago, the planet in which we all come to know by these past stories was filled with gigantic terrible lizards, dinosaurs duh.

There were no buildings, no societies, no rules, it was just live, eat and try not to die... this is what was taught at an early age to a very small Amaura.

"Lalala i am very happy!" Amaura was walking with her family, migrating to a new area with nice snowy trees.

"Come on Aurora, we need to catch up with the rest of the herd." A large Aurorus smiled at her.

"Sure thing ma!" Amaura looked happy as she followed her.

It is unkown what region they even lived on, as back then territories didn't have much of a name, however one thing each one had was dangerous predators; here is where we see our second protagonist a small devious Tyrunt.

"You see those son, they're delicious Aurorus!" Tyrantrum smirks.

"Yeah mom i see em, which one we gonna eat?" Tyrunt asked.

"Whichever we can get our fangs into first!" Tyrantrum told him.

It wasn't common for Tyrannosaurus to hunt in packs, these two prehistoric dinosaurs had been stalking this large herd of Sauropods for quite some time, waiting until their guard was lowered enough to strike and be easy pickings.

"I hope we can feast on them soon mom, I'm starving!" Tyrunt complained.

Tyrantrum looked a bit annoyed but she understood, it had been quite a while since these gargantuan sized carnivores last found some decent meat to eat; last meal they had was a Dunklevish and it wasn't comfortable having to swim around the cold waters of this area.

"Soon son, soon we will strike." Tyrantrum reassured him.

However she knew this was no easy task, it was a herd of around 5 adults and 4 children; by herself she couldn't fight off these long necked titans, she'd have to go for the little one if she wanted any chance for her son to eat tonight.

As night-time approached and the Aurorus were all asleep; Tyrantrum began approaching their nest.

This of course alerted the pack and they stood up ready to hold their ground; with massige height and tons of weight, they were no pushovers when it came to intimidation.

The Aurorus cried out and their sails glew a rainbowish color in the night, which was disorenrating to the tyrant king lizard.

Tyrantrum rushed towards an adult knocking him down; using her powerful jaws she bit down on his stomach side ripping off a large chunk of meat and muscles from the flailing prey.

The Aurorus herd was outraged and kept using powerful Ice Beams against the Tyrantrum.

Tyrantrum tried to fight them off but the type advantage was too much to handle; there was no way a Dragon/Dark type could ever defeat a Ice/Fairy type; she was out of her league and she knew her end was near.

"Julian! Retreat and return for the corpse afterwards!" Tyrantrum ordered her son.

Julian looked worried, he wanted to fight but he was too small and weak still; the small Tyrannosaurus decided to just flee the scene.

Tyrantrum bit down on the fallen Aurorus neck sealing it's fate; she was still being shot by Ice Beams and Dazzling Gleams; in a panic Tyrantrum Dragon Tail on one of the children who hadn't yet gained their fairy typing.

The Amaura was launched way across the snowy hill and she fell down a cliff; the parents were furious and with a large Moonblast attack, Tyrantrums days in this planet were no more.

The herd was sad over the losses of their members, the parents wanted to stay and look around for their Amaura child, but a large blizzard was incoming and there was fear more predators like Dracosaur and Velozolt could be nearby...

It was best to move out of this territory while they had the chance; more eggs would be born soon and that was the cycle of life in these primitive times.

"Ahhhhhh!!!" Amaura yelled as she was falling down the icy cliff, she landed on a large pile of snow.

"Ouch, mom.. dad? Is anyone there?" Aurora called out; it was hard to see around her as the blizzard caused mist and hail to be everywhere.

The young Amaura went and looked for shelter, a small cave would do; she then planned to regroup with her parents when the storm was over.

As she walked through the cold snow, she found a cave deep enough to provide her safety, what she didn't know was a certain carnivore was hiding in the shadows.

As Amaura tried to lay down and rest, the Tyrunt came out of his hiding spot and rushed towards her; Aurora screamed and blew Icy Wind at him.

It caused the dragon type a lot of pain and slowed him down.

"Back off you jerk! I am trying to sleep here!" Aurora glared at him.

"Grre, i don't care! You are prey! I shall eat you!" Julian snarls at her.

"Are you carnivores always too dumb to understand type match-ups?!" Aurora looked annoyed.

"I just wanna eat you!" Julian glares.

"Well you can't eat me!" Aurora looked angry.

Julian and her were at a standstill; he knew there was no way a dragon type could ever defeat an ice type... he was hoping his intimidation would be enough to destroy her will to defend herself.

But this little Amaura was too resilient, she had fight left in her even after she was all by herself.

"Whatever..." Tyrunt huffed and went to another corner of the cave.

"Now can you leave me alone you weirdo, i wanna sleep in peace!" Amaura ordered.

"Grrrr screw that! I found this cave first, it's mine!" Tyrunt growls.

"I can't rest knowing there is a big headed doofus who wants to eat me!" Amaura glares.

"Not my fault your species is tasty." Tyrunt looked boredly at her.

The two children argued for a while until they were both tired enough to just fall asleep as far away from each other as they could in the cave.

Morning came and thou dinos woke up; Tyrunt was awake first, he went towards the sleeping Amaura and bit her.

She yelled used Icy Wind on the floor; the Tyrunt walked over it; slipped and fell, letting go of his prey.

"What the heck is your deal man!" Amaura looked angry.

"You looked edible." Tyrunt shrugged with his tiny arms and walked away.

"You're crazy! All you carnivores are the same! Evil, nasty, bad guys!" Amaura looked angry.

"Yeah yeah whatever, I'm outta here!" Tyrunt began exiting the cave.

"What the... where do you think you're going!" Amaura yells at him.

"Away from you!" Tyrunt growls as he left the cave.

A few minutes passed and Amaura realized this cave was only hers now.

"Haha yes! Now i just gotta wait for my herd to find and rescue me!" Amaura smiles as she sat down in the cave.

Outside we see Tyrunt walking in a cold open field, it was pretty snowy but not enough to make it impossible to see.

"Aha! There it is!" Tyrunt found the corpse of the deceased male Aurorus.

He rushed towards it as fast as his big feet could and began munching and crunching down, ripping flesh and swallowing cold raw meat.

"Oh man, I haven't had a good meal in so long, this is amazing! Can't wait for mom to return and feast with me!" Tyrunt smiled as he kept eating.

After a few minutes he felt full enough to stop, he looked around the area and then his heart dropped; he saw... her.

At first Tyrunt thought she was asleep, or just knocked out but no; she was in fact... dead.

After the Aurorus used moves on her, they apparently used their overwhelming weight to stomp on her multiple times, sealing her fate.

It's killed or be killed in this prehistoric world, and that applied to anyone.

Tyrunt looked sad, he cried and let it all out alone; the cold air around him unfazed him as the pain of losing the only family he ever had in his life hurt more than any frostbite could.

The tiny pure Dragon type just began walking around scouting the area by himself; it was a frozen plains; likely due to winter but dinosaurs don't know what seasons are.

He knew he needed to find some shelter and perhaps take this back to the cave so nobody else ate his meal, however how was a small Tyrunt gonna carry such a heavy sauropod?

He bit a large chunk of it off and holded it in his jaw as he walked back to the cave.

"Hey! Why are you back! Shoo shoo get out!" Amaura yells.

Tyrunt ignored her, dropped the meat in his corner side of thr cave and left; he went to get another piece and began walking back.

"What the actual heck is this! You know this is my uncle probably right! Your mom killed him!" Amaura yells.

"Haha." Tyrunt grins as he dropped the meat at the corner of the cave and began leaving again; it was late in the afternoon now.

He decided to eat some more, as much as he could and when he was full he ripped a mouthful of meat off the dead body and walked back to thr cave.

Amaura was throwing his meat outside the cave.

"Hey!" Tyrunt yelled dropping the meat he had in his mouth.

"What?" Amaura looked indifferent.

"Let go of my food!" Tyrunt growls.

"Or what! You are a dragon type, you are weak to ice!" Amaura looked proud.

"Whatevet, be a jerk!" Tyrunt looked angry as he grabbed the meat and placed it on the cave.

"I'm not a jerk! I am nice! We herbivores are the good guys and you are all the bad guys!" Amaura glares.

"Whatever you say." Tyrunt rolled his eyes and grabbed the meat Amaura placed outside the cave to put it back inside.

"Ugh why do you have to bring that awful smelling stuff here, it's nasty!" Amaura complains.

"Cuz I'll be hungry in the morning, and by then other carnivore dinos will have eaten your uncle or whatever." Tyrunt told her.

"There are other carnivores nearby?!" Amaura looked scared.

"I don't know, probably; that's why tomorrow morning i am ditching this cave and migrating to a safer region." Tyrunt spoke.

"W-what!? You're leaving by yourself, but what about your pack?" Amaura asked.

"Don't have one." Tyrunt replied.

"And your family?" Amaura looked curious.

Tyrunt stayed silent for a few seconds before saying "I can take care of myself now."

The Tyrunt layed on the cave floor curled up to sleep; Amaura frowned glancing at him.

She didn't have any plans on what to do, she was just waiting for her family to eventually return.

All she did today was sometimes go outside the cave to eat some bush leaves, hide in the cave, get the meat out of the cave and hide in the cave again.

That was just her plan, and she thought she was fine with it for now as she drifted off into sleep.

The next morning Amaura woke up to the sound of bones crunching and meat munching; she was disgusted seeing Tyrunt boredly eating the final piece of Aurorus meat left.

"Ew that's so nasty!" Amaura yells.

"K." Tyrunt told her.

"So um are you leaving now?" Amaura asked.

"Yeah, i need to find a safe place to live and predators can easily find this cave and eat us both, so I'm out." Tyrunt began walking out of the cave.

"W-wait for me!" Amaura told him.

"What?" Tyrunt looked back genuinely confused.

"I don't wanna stay by myself, it's scary! Maybe if i travel I'll find my herd easier." Amaura smiled.

"Whatever, just don't get in my way." Tyrunt glares.

"Psh rude!" Amaura looked angry.

The two kids got out of the cave and began exploring; Tyrunt began feasting on the obviously very scavenged Aurorus corpse much to Amauras disgust.

"Do you seriously have to eat him right infront of me!" Amaura glares.

"It's gonna be a looooong trip ice princess, i need to make sure i am full till i can't have no more." Tyrunt told her.

"Why don't you just eat that one instead?" Amaura pointed at a dinosaur.

Tyrunt glanced at it and frowned, Tyrantrum was obviously scavenged and had pieces of her eaten.

"Maybe cause that's my mom?" Tyrunt looked at Amaura annoyed.

"Oh um, sorry..." Amaura frowns.

"Let's just go." Tyrunt ripped a piece off to hold in his jaw and began walking, the two walked for hours and hours through the snowy plains; no direction whatsoever.

Once Tyrunt was hungry enough he ate the food he had been holding for the past hours in his jaw.

"Ugh when are we getting there..." Amaura looked sad.

"Going where?" Tyrunt asked.

"You know, There!" Amaura explained.

"We aren't going anywhere, we are just hoping we reach a safer area." Tyrunt spoke.

"I wanna go homeeee..." Amaura looked sad, she missed her family.

"I wanna eat you." Tyrunt told her, he wasn't really hungry but he was very annoyed by her so he decided to mess with her.

"That is so rude! What's your deal!" Amaura glares.

"It's the circle of life, carnivores eat herbivores." Tyrunt shrugged.

"No it's not! My mommy told me that we are as strong as any carnivore." Amaura smiled.

"Yeah sure..." Tyrunt rolled his eyes.

They kept walking for a long time still.

"I'm bored..." Amaura looked down.

"I do not care." Tyrunt growls.

"How about we introduce eachother, my name is Aurora! and you?" Aurora smiles.

"...Julian." Tyrunt side eyed her.

"Hello there Julian nice to meet you!" Aurora smiled.

"I will eat you once i am hungry enough." Tyrunt told her boredly.

"That is like so rude! You can't just say that ya know!" Amaura yells.

"Be quiet." Tyrunt told her.

"No you be quiet! How dare you threaten someone that's nice, i always knew you were a bad guy!" Aurorua kept yelling.

"I'm serious shut up." Julian looked nervous looking around.

"Eat me? Psh I'd like to see you try! We ice types are the superior type! We are stronger than almost like every type!" Aurorua looked proud.

"Is that so?" said a scary voice.

Julian and Aurora turned around and saw a pack of Aerodactyl flying above them.

"Easy prey for the pickings!" Aerodactyl smirks.

"You will all do delicious meals!" A Mega Aerodactyl laughed.

"...Aurora... RUN!" Julian yelled as he began running as fast as he could.

"W-wait for me!" Aurora looked panicked as she ran as well.

The Aerodactyl all gave a birdly screech and began flying at fast speeds towards the two children, who were struggling to walk through all the snow.

Aerodactyl grabbed Aurora with their feet and took off.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!" She screamed.

"AURORA! OH NO! AHHHHHHH!!!" Julian was also grabbed by the large Mega Aerodactyl.

They were taken to a lofty mountain, and thrown in a nest.

"It's time to eat!" Aerodactyl laughed.

"SOMEOME HELP! AHHH! I DON'T WANNA DIE! I WANNA LIVE! PLEASE HELP! AHHHH DON'T KILL ME I AM NICE AHHHHHH!!!!!!" Aurora panicked and flailed around.

"Fuck you all." Julian glared at the large Aerodactyls, even tho he was scared; he stood his ground.

Suddenly both Aurora and Julian were teleported to a different place; with houses and other species of pokemon.

"Huh where are we? This place looks neat!" Aurora smiled.

Tyrunt who was standing next to her frowns.

"The final batch is Dedenne, Phantump, Pumpkaboo, Tyrunt and Amaura." Said a happy invisible voice.

And that was how Kalos Khaos first started for these two dinos; they competed in challenges and had friendships and enemies and all that.

In the end both lost but they had a wild time and at least weren't eaten.

There was a Aftermath Afterparty after the show was over, and many players were now heading home.

"Oh right where even is our home now?" Aurorus asked.

"Beats me." Tyrantrum shrugged; yep they both had evolved during their time on this show.

"Oh right, you two are from a different time period huh... let me just teleport you back there i guess!" Host told them.

Aurorus and Tyrantrum were teleported back; they looked around; apparently the snow on the field was now melted and gone; it was just grassy plains.

"Yay! We are back in dino times!" Aurorus cheers.

"UGH! DID YOU SERIOUSLY HAVE TO OPEN YOUR BIG MOUTH AND REMIND HIM TO TELEPORT US TO THIS SHITTY PLACE!" Tyrantrum screamed.

"Jeez Julian i thought you'd be happier for me helping you get back to your home but i guess my niceness is unappreciated like always." Aurora looked annoyed at him.

"This place ain't my home! I wanted to live on whatever the hell that future was! Whatever i am out of here!" Tyrantrum began storming off.

"Hey! You can't leave, we have a journey to do together so i can find my herd!" Aurora told him.

"We? There is no "We" Aurora, we aren't a team okay! If i wanted i could eat you right now and destroy you!" Tyrantrum growls.

"Psh I'd like to see you try! We are evolved now so I'm stronger!" Aurora glares.

"Well so am i!" Tyrantrum roars.

They both got into battle positions; ready to brawl and fight to the death; however Julian noticed something about the place he and Aurora were standing on.

It looked like the exact same place where the dead corpses of her uncle and his mother used to be, but they were now gone... likely eaten by others; only a few bones remained.

Silence and Julian thought for a moment.

"You aren't even worth it Aurora." Julian snarled at her with spite and began walking off.

"Yeah we whatever, run away Julian you big meanie! Get away from here you jerk! I don't want to see you around this territory ever again ya hear me you big bully!" Aurora yells, she then looked sad once she realized she was truelly alone all by herself.

She ate some tree leaves, and walked around but couldn't get very far; she just tried to be cheerful and happy as she could be.

Aurora knew a positive attitude always helped better the situation; she was the nicest dinosaur there could ever be!

Julian was angrily storming off.

"Stupid Aurora and her stupid type advantages, i hate her!!!!" Julian growls as he walked.

Suddenly he heard screams.

Julian looked confused and walked towards the sound of the screams, he saw a Dracosaur attacking a herd of Bastiodon.

Julian frowned and prepared to leave; it wasn't really his problem and he didn't want to get into unnecessary fights.

The defensive Normal/Steel types were struggling to defend against the powerful Dragon type; as he was stronger and faster than them.

"Ahhh!" A female Bastiodon who was defending two Shieldon yelled as she was flipped on her side exposing her sensitive belly.

"Mommy!" Yelled a Shieldon looking worried.

"Noooo! Don't hurt my mommy!" Cried a Shieldon.

"Hahaha! Don't worry you little shits! You'll join her soon!" The Dracosaur laughed as he was preparing to bite down on the mothers stomach.

Suddenly an extremely loud Jurassic Park T-Rex roar is heard.

The Shieldon, Bastiodon and Dracosaur all turned around to see the large intimidating Tyrantrum walk rapidly towards their direction.

"This day just keeps getting better huh..." a male Bastiodon boredly looked at the fourth wall.

"Seriously Steve?" Another Bastiodon looked angry, steve replied with a soft what?

"These prey are mine! So leave or die." Julian growls.

"I found them first, i killed their kind! They belong to me!" Dracosaur yells.

"Then we will fight, and you will die bro." Julian snarls.

"Bring it on, old man!" Dracosaur ran towards the Tyrannosaurus.

Julian looked a bit surprised and rapidly used Dragon Tail to smack him away; the Ceratosaurus growled in pain and looked pissed off.

"I'm gonna feast on your insides!" Dracosaur growls.

"No me to u!" Julian replied as he rushed towards him all Dragon like; he suddenly had learned Dragon Rush.

Dracosaur tried to dodge it but Julian rapidly following him, crunched down with his mighty jaw and ripped his head clean off.

Julian boredly ate the head a bit before spitting it out as a boney skull.

Bastidons helped flip over the mother Bastiodon that had been on her side, now she stood on her feet with her two Shieldon kids.

The Bastiodons all looked in horror as the large Tyrannosaurus Rex feasted on the deceased body of the Dracosaur.

"What y'all looking at?" Julian glared.

"Thank you for saving us!" Shieldon thanked him.

"Whatever, I'm gonna eat those later, so you should all run away or whatever." Tyrantrum pointed at the dead Bastiodon with his tiny arms.

"So you're not gonna eat us..." Another female Bastiodon asked.

"No need to when i already have food here..." Julian told them.

"Oh." A Bastiodon spoke.

"Excuse me Mr, could you help us get to Rocky Mountain?" Asked a small Shieldon.

"Shelly!" Bastiodon looked worried.

"What?" Julian looked at her genuinely confused.

"It's just... we been trying to move as a pack for weeks and we keep being attacked by mean carnivores, but you are the only carnivore that doesn't seem mean yet is strong, so could you protetct us..." Shieldon asked.

"Bruh." Julian frowns.

"That's crazy, he'd never help us..." Bastidon frowns.

"I mean, if you're willing to carry snacks for the trip and we go fast then sure..." Julian shrugs.

"No way are you serious?!" Bastiodon asked.

"I won't be doing much other than guard this food in this exact spot for days, so if you carry this food on your backs i guess i could travel with you all and protect you from other predators." Julian replied.

"Carrying our deceased friends on our back is pretty gross..." A female Bastiodon frowns.

"I mean, rather do that then risk yet another attack of carnivores..." Steve spoke.

"It's a deal then Mr um..." Bastiodon tried to speak.

"Julian, Julian Pryngles." Tyrantrum kept eating the Dracosaur.

The Bastiodon pack smiled; two agreed to carry two deceased Bastiodon on the their large backs and one of them carried the remains of Dracosaur.

Julian followed the pack right in the middle; many predators like Aerodactyl, Velozolt, Sceptile and even other Tyrantrums wanted to attack the pack but they all felt it wasn't worth it with another Tyrantrum for some reason traveling with them.

Whenever Julian got hungry, he munched on the already dead bodies; this went on for a few days; eventually there were no snacks left.

"How long till we reach Rocky Mountain..." Julian frowns.

"We are almost there, we only need to camp at the base." Bastidon told him.

"Are you... gonna eat us?" a female Bastiodon asked.

"I do not know." Julian told her.

"I hope it doesn't come to that and we find some leftover carcass around here..." Bastiodon looked worried.

There was no already dead body, Julian eent hungry for 3 more days starving himself, until finally they reached the end.

"We made it! This is the bottom of Rocky Mountain!" Bastiodon smiled.

Many Bastiodon and Shieldon cheered.

"Now we can safely make our next and have plenty of healthy plants to eat!" Bastidon cheered.

"Thanks Julian!" Another Bastiodon smiled.

"Yea yea..." Julian told them as he collapsed on the floor.

"Oh no Julian!" Shieldon looked worried.

"Are you okay?" Bastiodon asked.

"I'm starving..." Julian groaned in pain.

"Shoot that's right, you haven't eaten in a while huh..." Bastiodon all had a look of guilt on their faces.

"Eat Steve, he's annoying anyway." Bastiodon suggested.

"Oh fuck you!" Steve the Bastiodon glares.

"Eat me, if it makes you better!" Shieldon told him.

"You wouldn't fill me up enough, it's okay I'm just gonna leave now and hope i get lucky..." Julian began standing up and walking away.

"Thank you for all your help!" Bastiodon told him.

"I'll name one of the babies after you!" A Bastiodon waved away.

"See you Mr Julian, good luck!" Shieldon waved goodbye.

Julian sighed and walked away; he walked for a couple of hours... he was tired and weak... starving.

He saw a group of Meganium and Tropius eating tree leaves.

Julian went towards them but at the first sight of him they panicked and either flew or ran away.

"Ugh..." Julian looked tired.

It was difficult being a carnivore; you always had to hurt someone in order to get to live and everyone saw you as a villain because of it.

"Julian?! What are you doing here!" Said a female voice.

Julian turned around and saw Aurora the Aurorus, she looked exactly the same, healthy, strong, tall.

"Can't speak? You scared away my grassy friends you big bully, come on tell me why you are in our grass territory!" Aurora looked at him with distrust.

"Just looking for food." Julian told her.

"There we go, Julian looking for someone to hurt like always, gosh maybe if you weren't such a mean bad guy people would like you more." Aurora told him.

Julian looked annoyed at her.

"I been living the life here eating leaves and having friends, i don't see you with any friends, probably because you aren't nice like i am." Aurora looked very happy.

"These are my friends." Julian glared as he showed off his extremely sharp teeth.

"Uh huh, and how's that working out for ya hmmm?" Aurora looked unimpressed.

"I'm about to find out..." Julian spoke as he began running towards Aurora.

Aurora looked shocked and used Aurora Beam on the Dragon Type hurting him a lot.

Julian used Strength to push Aurora into the ground, she shot another Aurora Beam at him, hurting him lots.

"Ugh i always knew you wanted to eat me you jerk!" Aurora glared.

"I gotta do what i gotta do." Julian told her as he was about to crunch on her neck.

Suddenly Julian didn't feel hungry another, it was like all feeling of hunger, thirst and even going to the bathroom was just...gone.

He wondered why he felt like this, then he looked around, an empty white void with a lot of strange pokemon and all sorts of wacky characters.

"Um where am i?" Aurora looked around the large empty white void worried.

Julian also didn't know what was happening but it couldn't be more dangerous and deadlier than living in prehistoric times right?

Both dinosaurs didn't know what horrors awaited them in Deadly All-Stars.
