the foxy trainer Chapter 14: axel town part 2, a Naruto + Pokémon Crossover fanfic

"ok ok that was a nice break but lets have our second match of today ok?" naruto said after a brief break to make sure both pokemon were ok.

"yea that's cool but don't get it twisted i'll beat you this time so prepare to lose dude" ash said confidently before walking to his side of the stage

naruto in response smirked and pulled out his pokeball before saying "nah i'd win" before throwing said ball revealing a battle ready tsunami. ash also smirked and pointed to the field to which pikachu ran onto the battle ground before crossing his arms with a confident smile.

BATTLE START

"pikachu start off with two back to back agilities and then hit her with a thunderbolt" the tanned boy shouted to which pikachu surrounded himself with a pinkish energy before zooming around the battle field in the hopes to blinside the froakie and firing off a thunderbolt.

"ok tsu we have a type disadvantage so let's keep the hits we take to a minimum, start off with some clones to distract him then we barrage him with some water bullets" naruto said calmly to which the water pokemon quickly dashed and jumped in the air before forming about 5 clones which she blended in to perfectly then all 6 froakies dashed into differant diretions and tried to barrage the pikachu who cleanly dodged most attacks.

"use quick attack and hit as many clones as you can then use dig and set up a charge" ash said quickly in response to pikachu getting hit with a water projectile to which the electric mouse dashed around hitting 2 froakies making them poof then getting a solid hit on the real froakie but before she could retaliate he quickly dug underground and charged his electrical power.

"ok tsu this is what we'll do keep hopp-"

"NOW" ash shouted in response pikachu sprang out of the floor hitting the froakie head on sending her flying backwards before chasing after her and releasing a thunderbolt which to the rodent's suprise turned the pokemon into white smoke.

"more clones and jump him using pound" the blond commanded, about copies of tsunami emerged from all around the field dashing and jumping towards pikachu who dispelled all of them with a discharge however losing a majority of the stored electricity as a result. the real tsunami emerged from behind a rock and sneak attacked pikachu using pound send the mouse tumbling forwards.

"IRON TAIL"

"POUND"

both trainers shouted causing a close quarter brawl to insue ending in in one final clash between froakie punching pikachu and the mouse swinging down with an iron tail an explosion due to the clash sent both poikemon flying in opposite directions. both pokemon stood up visibly shaken and on their last legs before pikachu used agility dashed over to froakie and used discharge causing the little ninja to faint.

"... aww man dude i guess you win" said naruto after a brief pause of shock suprised his pokemon actually lost the bout before tending to froakie.

"hell yea i did i told you i'd beat you didn't i HAH, anyways pikachu come here we need to check if you're ok" ash said celebrating before also checking up on his pokemon.

"next time i'll win" "sure sure i look forward to it" naruto and ash said respectively before fost bumping

BATTLE END

after both trainers made sure their pokemon were ok they decided to do some group training together with all their pokemon lined up together

"ok i'll rattle off what my pokemon need to work on and we'll see if our pokemon can help eachother" naruto said walking up to ash with all of his pokemon following behind to which ash nodded.

"ok so tsu here needs to work on power mainly she's amazing all around but her main weaknesses are her low power output and her lack of abillity to take hits" naruto said to which tsunami nodded thoughtfully before looking up determinately.

"quake here has some good power and we've been working on her control so she's good on that front i think her main issue is the time it takes for to unleash her attacks and her lack of range when it comes to attacks" the blond said thoughtfully looking down onto the little dragon smiling

"and kurama has no real glaring flaws except his bad control like he's by far my most powerfull mon but he lacks control" naruto said after a brief thoughtfull pause looking at the pokemon in question who was napping peacefully before waking up and snorting.

"well pikachu needs to work on regulating his power output and he needs a wider movepool but i'll do that myself" ash said with pikachu on his shoulder looking thoughtfully nodding along.

"and jetra needs to powerup her moves a bit and needs to develop her abillity to take hits" ash said looking over at the rokidee who looked away with her beak held high with an embarrased blush which made him chuckle at her pride.

"alrighty then let's see hmmmm ok so tsu you pair up with quake, quake you work on your range by trying to hit tsu with any ranged moves you have excluding dragon pulse of course while tsu here is gonna dodge those attacks and she's gonna try to hit you hard enough to feel it but quake if you're hurt feel free to stop and we'll see what we can do instead" naruto said with a note pad walking past the 2 pokemon to which they looked at eachother smiled nodded and rushed off to someplace in the training grounds.

"jetra you'll be joining quake and tsu there and you'll be trying to hit both of them with your moves try to up the power and don't worry about hurting them because well we both saw they can take a few hits especially quake" ash said kindly, kneeling towards the princess who looked up before sighing and nodding then proceeding to fly after the 2 pokemon

"ok so kurama you know we need to work on your control and pikachu since you apparently need help with your power regulation and being able to conserve power so both of you will be meditating together try to internalise your energy and get a better feel of it which should help a lot" naruto said calmly nodding to both pokemon who nodded back and found a secluded area for themsleves to meditate in silence together.

"ok well naruto since we're our pokemon are working on themselves what are you planning on doing exactly? cause i'm planning on challenging the gym either tommorow or the day after depends what type they specialise in, actually in fact let's search it up aaaand wow turns out its a fighting type gym huh neat" ash said trying to come up with a strategy internally with hsi finger holding his chin.

"fighting huh that won't be too bad i don't have any disadvantages against them but no real advantages, however tsu can learn aerial ace and maybe kurama can not really sure and i still have some jutsu so maybe they'll help?" naruto said deep in thought clearly trynna come up with something to give him the advantage before walking up to his backpack and picking out a scroll revealing a bunch of techniques he's 'unlocked' so far.

flash back

"OK SO NARUTO WHILST ME AND LADY KAMI ARE PROVIDING YOU WITH ALL OF YOUR TECHNIQUES YOU WON'T HAVE ACCES TO THEM IMMEDIATELY SO YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO UNLOCK SOME MORE TECHNIQUES BY EARNING BADGES" the god of pokemon said looking down upon naruto and kurama who looked up confused but didn't question it too much assuming it'd make sense when they reincarnated.

"ALSO SOME OF THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD WILL BE TRANSPORTED TOTHIS NEW WORLD BUT DO NOT HOLD GRUDGES OR HATE TOWARDS THEM AS THEY WILL NOT REMEMBER THIS WORLD THEY'LL EFFECTIVELY BE REINCARNATED JUST LIKE YOU BUT WITHOUT THEIR MEMORIES" kami said smiling down kindly on the confused duo.

" uuuuh ok?" naruto said confused by the amount of big words as he'd dub it clearly not following along.

flashback end

naruto chuckled thinking back about that time he sure did come a long way since that scared and dumb kid in konoha.

"hey naruto" ash said dragging naruto out of his musing

"hm yea whats up"

"can you teach me some of those jutsu thingies you use cause they seem like they're useful" ash said curiously looking at the local pokelife on his rotom phone thoughtfully.

" uuh i don't think i can i tried with quake and she can't so from what i gathered only kurama and ninja like pokemon can learn jutsu maybe a pokemon really intune with their aura could learn jutsu?" naruto said questioningly to himself, looking up at ash apologetically who in response jus sighed and nodded before sitting down and researching even more about the pokelife in the surrounding area.

another chapter down i took some more time to write this instead of writing it 30 minutes before publishing lol

i decided to do some soft retconning with the scroll and the flashback tell me what you guys think.
