V1 Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Class B

Intro

The buzzing noise of an annoying insect reverberated across the campus of the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. Cicadas. A dozen or more of them. Even in the month of early September, because the hot weather still roamed the atmosphere, the insects still noisily minded their own business.

Because of that, some of the students living within the dorms were abruptly woken from their slumber. One of these students was a brown haired boy with golden eyes sleeping in room 401 of the second year students dormitory.

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka opened his eyes as he roused from deep sleep. The familiar quite empty white walled student dorm room entered his blurry vision and signified that he was indeed awake.

He turned to his right to see the bedside clock next to him. The time read 7:10am in the morning, a little early for a lot of students, but a normal wake up time for Kiyotaka.

As he was about to move and raise his body from the comfort of his bed, he realised that there was some extra weight on top of him in the bed. He looked in front of him and saw the reason. In his bed, lying on his body sound asleep, was a girl with blonde hair. It was his girlfriend Karuizawa Kei.

Kiyotaka found himself watching his girlfriend sleep on his bare chest as it seemed both cute and entertaining to him. But on the note of his bare chest, Kiyotaka noticed that an item of clothing that should technically be on her body was not in its place.

Usually, when Kiyotaka and Kei slept together in the same bed, they only wore their underwear as they felt most comfortable in them. However, the usual black bra that should be covering her perfectly sized supple breasts was nowhere to be seen on her body. And upon further inspection of raising the bed covers slightly, he found that her usual black lace panties were not covering her lower region.

It was noticeable to him that he was not wearing his boxer shorts that he would usually wear to sleep when the two slept together either. The two of them were completely naked, hugging each other to sleep in his bed.

Roaming through his memory banks, Kiyotaka remembered the very reason why they were in this position. When a couple had grown even closer during the night than they ever had before, a certain intimate sense of wanting to feel the other and close the remaining distance between them would occur. From that point onward, tension would grow and what resulted from all this was a night that the two would never forget.

In essence, Kiyotaka and Kei had sex with each other for the first time in their newfound relationship. Whether it was embarrassing, perverted, or just outright normal for people in relationships like him, Kiyotaka found himself remembering the night very well. But that story was for another time.

He pushed those thoughts aside as they were not important. What was important was waking up his purified girlfriend.

Kiyotaka lightly tapped Kei's cheeks, trying to rouse her from her slumber.

"Kei. It's nearly quarter past 7. It's time to wake up."

"Mmm. 5 more minutes Kiyotaka..."

As a result of the small tapping of her cheeks, Kei gave a reaction. But it only resulted in her mumbling and trying to get back to sleep. While this was a cute sight to behold for Kiyotaka and any man in general, he knew he had to break Kei from her slumber.

"Sorry Kei. But we need to get up now. We can relax in the bath after we have breakfast."

Kiyotaka kept tapping her cheek, even going as far as to flick it lightly. Groaning from being constantly woken up, Kei stirred awake with her serenic purple eyes fluttering beautifully as they opened.

"Mmm. Good morning Kiyotaka," She said with a slightly tired yet happy smile on her face.

"Good morning. Shall we get up and have breakfast together? You can have a bath while I begin making something for the two of us."

Kei removed the covers from her and Kiyotaka and stood up on the ground. Her completely naked body was now visible to Kiyotaka, something which made her blush in slight embarrassment upon realising it. But she didn't let those thoughts cloud her as she refocused back on the matter at hand.

"Um... Kiyotaka. I can help you make breakfast with you. Then we can... take a bath... together..." Her face went more red as she finished her proposal.

Kiyotaka raised his eyebrows in slight surprise. He knew Kei had been quite bold in announcing their relationship to the class and how clingy she was when they walked together. This wasn't even mentioning how close, clingy and bold she was during their debut as the KiyoKei's during the recent Talent Show they happened to win for their class.

But here, she was just a normal cinnamon roll, feeling embarrassed when trying to be bold. Whether that had to do with their night together or not, he didn't know. But he couldn't disregard her proposal. In fact, part of him also wanted to bathe with Kei, but he thought it would've been too much for her after what they did.

"Sure. Shall we go make breakfast together now then?"

"Ah... Let's at least put on some clothes first. Our underwear will do fine."

"Good point. I feel like I'll lose control if I keep seeing your beautiful naked body."

"Eh...!? Eh eh eh... Moouuuu. Kiyotaka, don't tease me like that!"

Her arms flew up and down in embarrassment at Kiyotaka's "flirting". Her head looked like it was going to explode so Kiyotaka retreated from teasing her.

"Sorry sorry. Let's get dressed and make breakfast then. We'll take a bath after we're done."

The two grabbed their respective underwear from the floor and put them on before making their way to the kitchen to make breakfast.

After their breakfast, the bath they took together to both wash up their bodies and relax. But washing up their bodies and relaxing in the warmth of the water wouldn't be the only thing they did in the bath together...

Part 1

At 8:20am, Kiyotaka and Kei exited dorm room 401 on the fourth floor and began making their way to the elevator. Since it was a boys floor, a few boys were already standing at the elevator entrance.

"Yo. Ayanokouji."

In that small group waiting for the ride down to the ground floor was a boy rocking red hair. It was Sudou Ken, a student in the same class as Kiyotaka and Kei. He raised his hand to greet the two as they approached, Kiyotaka doing the same in response.

"Morning Sudou. You're up a little early. Don't you usually come near 10 minutes before homeroom begins?" Kiyotaka started up a conversation with Sudou as they all waited for the elevator.

Sudou in turn raised his arm and put his hand behind his head as if he was scratching it.

"I guess it does seem weird that I'm here even earlier than normal. Suzune told me last week that the second semester may start to get more hectic and warned me that written exams could be a possibility early on. So I've been preparing myself for that."

"So you've been studying a lot this whole past week? Even to the point you're going to start coming into school early?"

It wasn't Kiyotaka who asked this question, but Kei who was clinging onto his arm.

"Well, yeah. I've been going through every curriculum currently as much as I could. It's been affecting my sleep a little bit," Sudou yawned as he answered the question. "I'm not letting that affect me though. My current Academic Ability ranking in the OAA is at a D+, but I want to increase it to a B or something at minimum."

Sudou's Academic Ability at the start of their second year was an E+, one of the lowest in their class. Since then, he had increased it by one grade to a D+. In terms of actual grades it wasn't that much better, but for someone like Sudou, who wasn't really that well adept in academics, this was a huge improvement.

However, increasing that academic ability on the OAA from D+ to a B would provide a huge benefit not just to him, but to their class too. Securing a ranking around that grade was a goal that everyone who had lower grades had to be doing. And for someone like Sudou, who has changed a lot from the person he used to be back in year 1, it was likely achievable for him if he kept going.

"A 'B' ranking is quite high, but I think you can do it if you continue this studying train you're on. Speaking of which... Kei, we need to increase your academic ability in the OAA too. It's not bad per se, but increasing it to a B like Sudou is trying to do would be helpful."

"Eh... Well I guess that's true... Will you tutor me like you did before, Kiyotaka?"

Kei's academic ability in the OAA wasn't as bad as Sudou's at the beginning. Where Sudou was currently, at a D+, was where Kei's ranking was at the start of their second year. Since then, her ranking had increased to a C, which was the current average rating for students in their class. However, Kiyotaka deemed it better that the ranking needed to increase to Sudou's goal.

"Yeah. I'll tutor you myself. It might also be worth joining in on Yousuke's lessons if he's going to provide any. And maybe Chabashira-sensei's if she'll provide any too. But I'll tutor you in my room anyway."

Kei blushed and smiled happily at Kiyotaka's agreement to her question. Witnessing the blossom of the couple in front of him, Sudou felt a little awkward around the two. The other boys around them probably felt the same, but they weren't important. An invisible light bulb then appeared above Sudou's head as he came to the realisation of something.

"Come to think of it, Karuizawa came out of your room this early in the morning, Ayanokouji. Did you two sleep together? In fact, did you two do anything more while you were together?"

Part 2

Soon, the bonding session between the two groups ended (for now) and they returned to their respective seats in time for morning homeroom. As soon as the last student sat down in their seat, Chabashira Sae, the teacher for their class, entered the room and looked at her students.

She gave a small smile that was barely noticeable to people who looked closely, like Kiyotaka, and walked to the front of the classroom. Standing at the front desk, she turned to the students and began speaking.

"Looks like everyone is here again so no need for me to do a register. I'll go straight to the announcements this week then. Firstly, let me congratulate all of you. You've all managed to reach Class B status and are now 50 points ahead of the previous Class B. The Talent Show really did good for you all."

Everyone turned to look at the band members who performed in the talent show - Kiyotaka, Kei, Akito, Haruka, Satou, Airi, Matsushita and Mori. The students under their gazes, minus Kiyotaka with his usual apathetic looking expression, all wore embarrassed yet happy smiles.

"But remember that while you all are now Class B, you must continue to do well in order to keep that status and become closer to reaching and beating Class A. Doing well in your upcoming midterms, special exams, even the upcoming sports festival and cultural festivals will give you chances. I'm hoping for the best from all of you."

Chabashira looked at every student in the room as she said this. A small smile, that actually looked more like a smirk than anything, was plastered on her face as she did this.

"Sensei? Is there any news on the sports and cultural festivals? You said we would get more information this week."

Hirata Yousuke, one of the class leaders, raised his hand and asked such a question. Chabashira nodded as an answer and continued again.

"Yes, Hirata. That was actually the next thing I was going to announce. Regarding the sports festival, like I said last week, it will follow a similar nature, but with some changes and some attachments alongside it. I can't exactly give you any more information than you should expect elements from a previous special exam in this new sports festival."

All the students in Class B showed expressions of confusion and interest. Last year's sports festival was pretty normal with no strings or elements from a special exam attached to it. But it seemed that this year was different. What confused the students was that they didn't know what parts of the previous special exam Chabashira might be referring to.

"Of course, more of what the sports festival will hold will be announced when the training sessions for it begin, which will be in a few weeks. What I can give you all though, is information on the cultural festival. We're not just going to be doing any normal cultural festival. There are a few strings attached to it."

If it wasn't at an all time high already, the attention on Chabashira from Class B definitely was now. They all kept quiet and portrayed serious eyes and ears as they paid extreme attention to the next explanation.

"Just like a normal cultural festival, there will be a large number of invited guests that will enter the campus and take part in the many events being held. These events will be held by you, the students of all years. You will need to plan what event you would like your class to do within the budget that we have set for you. I will go into more detail about this shortly. As students from all years will be taking part in providing events for the guests, that also means that you will be competing against each class and year for the total amount of sales you can make."

Everyone nodded in understanding, prompting Chabashira to continue.

"Of course, for the event you will be doing you will need items and equipment. You can apply for as many items as you like, but the budget is limited. I shall be sending you all the general outline of the cultural festival to your tablets. Please look through that for more details."

The students turned on their tablets and opened up the "school email" app. There was a certain email from Chabashira titled "Cultural Festival Outline". Alongside everyone else, Kiyotaka tapped the banner and opened up the email. There, he read the details on the screen.

Outline of the Cultural Festival

Each second-year student will be given 5,000 private points that can be used only in preparation for the festival.

First-year students will receive 5,500 points and third-year students receive 4,500 points.

Additional funds will be given for social contributions such as student council service, and for contributions made through club activities.

Details will be announced for each class once they are finalised.

The initial cost and additional funds will not be reflected in the final sales, and will be confiscated if unused.

100 class points will be awarded to the 1st through 4th place classes.

50 class points will be awarded to the 5th through 8th place classes.

Class points for 9th to 12th place will remain unchanged.

Reading the outline, it seemed that there were relatively large rewards at stake. Class points were available for those who made it to the top 8, and there appeared to be no penalties for finishing lower.

Seeing all this information, despite not knowing the full scale and experience of a cultural festival, Kiyotaka began to understand why information about this school's one was being announced this early, while more details on the sports festival were held off. Preparations for the cultural festival were going to be bigger, and from the details, it was going to be more rewarding.

Therefore, it was important that the information on the cultural festival was received as early as possible, almost similar to their recent Talent Show albeit with longer preparation time.

"It really does feel like a middle school cultural festival," Shinohara exclaimed in surprise.

She wasn't exactly wrong with that point. If one were to ignore the special exam nature of the cultural festival, it would pretty much be like any other school cultural festival. However, Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School was different. Because of the structure and purpose of the school, the festival had to feel different to a lot of the other students. Kiyotaka noted this was probably why the school never did a cultural festival.

"You will need to reserve an area around the school to hold your event. These will be split into certain sections, currently being shown on your tablet if you enter the school special exam app and navigate to the cultural festival information. If you want to set up your stall near the main gate, where visitors will definitely pass by, for example, you will have to pay the school a certain amount for the space."

Kiyotaka followed Chabashira's instructions and brought up the information on the tablet. There was a map of the school grounds with a title 'List of Possible Stall locations' and the names of them combined with numbers. There was also a price listed for the area.

Using Chabashira's example, the location closest to the main gate was labelled "Main Gate 1" and the cost of the location was 10,000 points. Considering that the budget for Class B was 195,000 points in total, 10,000 points probably was a little too much, even if it would attract quite a lot of guests for sales.

Kiyotaka looked at a further away location to compare pricing and saw an area by the special building labelled "Special Building 1". It was a little further away from the main gate but not too much. He reviewed the area and noted the price to be around 7500 points. It seemed if the location was further away from the main gate, it had a lower overhead cost.

"Now, keep in mind that it is possible that there will be conflicts with other classes and years over the location of the stall being picked. Only one class per location can use a labelled location. If there is a conflict over a certain area, the school will hold an auction system to determine who will gain the rights to use that location. It's self-explanatory, but the class that offers the highest bid will get the right to use that space."

In other words, it was important for classes to consider their location carefully. If they happened to pick an area that another class wanted, and they were stubborn about picking that area, it was possible that the budget would be hurt if the auction system got the class to pay too much. Therefore, it was important to consider not just the area location and possible conflict, but the budget they had too.

"And just to let you know, the school will not disclose which class will be doing what kind or where their stalls will be located until the day of the festival. While the school will protect information that way, be aware that verbal information can't be controlled. If the information is leaked, you should expect to be faced with consequences. So I advise you to be careful what you say and where while you plan your event."

Some students shivered at the warning. Loudmouths like Ike and some of the girls were not the best at keeping quiet. Luckily, Class B had a groupchat with most people in it, so they could make use of that in dire situations.

"Now for the items, most of them you can probably get on campus. But there may be certain items and props that aren't available here in the school's campus stores or from the school itself. If that happens, you can apply for and get it from outside if you gain permission. As long as it's within the terms of the agreement, you're free to use the budget however you want. Any questions so far?"

No student raised their hands as everything either seemed self-explanatory or Chabashira had explained it well enough that there was no need to question it further.

"I see. Well that's all the information you need to know about the cultural festival. Further details can be found in that email and in the special exam section of the app. The specific preparation and set-up period will start after the sports festival, but please start discussing today and use your own time to decide what the events will be and how the budget will be allocated. Since there are no other announcements and since there's some time left right now before you begin your first lesson, why don't you take 5 minutes right now to discuss a general idea roadmap."

With that all said, Chabashira packed up her belongings and made her way out the room. Seeing that as a signal to take on her advice, Hirata stood up from his seat and walked to the front desk, ready to act as the representative.

"Well. In terms of what sensei said, I think it's a good idea to discuss what exactly we should be thinking about as an event idea. Based on cultural festivals at other schools, serving food and drinks at a small cafe or a food stall, and having something like a haunted house, a play or a live music show are pretty common."

Tablet in hand, Hirata typed down a small list of what he knew from cultural festivals on a note document. Everyone watched and listened carefully as he continued speaking.

"According to these details, the festival will be held from 10am in the morning to 3pm in the afternoon. And as for the budget, we have 39 students in our class. That means that the budget we are looking at right now is 195,000 points. Honestly, it's not a lot to work with considering the different options we have available."

It seemed as though Hirata was at a standstill. There was only three and a half minutes left until the next lesson began.

"Hirata-kun. I have a suggestion. The 3 minutes we have left isn't enough time to completely list off ideas and decide on one. So I suggest that we continue this discussion after school, when we have the most time and when most people in this class are available. In the meantime, I also suggest everyone think of a few ideas that we could list down as being ideas and we'll work through them in the after school discussion."

Luckily, Horikita Suzune, another representative in Class B, took over and pledged her suggestion for the planning of Class B's cultural festival event.

"Yeah. You're right, Horikita-san. I agree with that plan."

Hirata agreed with that plan, prompting many other students to nod their heads in agreement. The discussion of the plan would continue later but the rest of class would need to come up with some suggestions for events. Hirata then sat back down in his seat, just as Mashima entered the room to begin the first lesson of the day.

Part 3

The final lesson and registration ended, and most of the students including Kiyotaka and Kei stayed behind to partake in the cultural festival plan discussion. Those that didn't stay either had clubs going on or were Kouenji Rokusuke.

At the front of the classroom stood Horikita and Hirata. The latter was trying to mirror his tablet's screen onto the classroom digital monitor after gaining permission from Chabashira earlier on. It took a few minutes to set it up and when it finished, the students of Class B saw a list of ideas that Hirata had noted down.

"Ok. So this is the list I've noted down already so far. Since we all had some time to think of some more ideas, I am open to hearing any more to add to the list, whether it's new ideas or more detailed ones to the existing ideas."

Hirata's list contained the essential ideas such as a cafe/food market, haunted house, game stalls, a play and a live music show. Pretty much all the ideas that everyone likely had thought of during the day were listed off by Hirata.

"My ideas were taken."

"I couldn't really think of anything."

"You took the wind out of my sails, Hirata-kun."

An awkward and embarrassed smile appeared on Hirata's face as his classmates threw comments of praise and complaints. Although the situation looked to be heading in the right direction due to the amount of ideas being listed, it actually looked bad because no more ideas, nor an actual plan for these ideas were being presented.

Horikita, who proposed the idea of everyone thinking of ideas in time for this meeting in the first place, noticed this issue and spoke up quickly.

"It's good that we all thought of the same ideas to propose doing for our side of the cultural festival. But it seems that we didn't actually think deeply enough with these events. While these ideas are definitely worth doing, our 195,000 point budget makes us have to be cautious on what we choose and how we use the budget for it."

Minus people like Kiyotaka, Kei, Hirata, Mii-chan and Yukimura, the students in Class B began to realise the situation after Horikita's explanation.

"You're right Horikita-san. If we're going to go with the cafe idea, it's important we consider what food we'll be selling, the ingredients needed for that, the equipment we'll need and then the people who will cook it. If we take out the last point, these points alone will already be a huge factor towards our budget. Even if 195,000 isn't that much, it's enough for us to do more than just a cafe. Which just begs the question, what else should we do?"

Hirata began giving his input on the situation, which further helped give light to what Class B needed to keep in mind. And to add more problems to the situation, they also needed to keep in mind the pricing for where their location was. Kiyotaka, who was quietly listening to the discussion, noted that this was what Chabashira had meant during the explanation during homeroom.

"Well. If we're going to go with food like takoyaki or something, and we need something else to compensate for that plan, we might as well make use of something else we have available at our disposal. Kiyotaka and his band were able to get us to Class B thanks to their song. Since a live music show is on our list, we might as well have them play music at our booth too. And if we go with a cafe idea, they can play at the cafe to add some ambience."

Yukimura proposed this idea too, which prompted all the other students to nod their heads in agreement. Even the two leaders standing at the front couldn't disregard that idea.

"That is a good shout Yukimura-kun," Hirata nodded while typing down the more detailed idea. "So we've got a cafe and a live music show to go along with it. But we still need to consider the budget for the food and the equipment we need such as tables, chairs, cooking equipment and music instruments. And there should probably be another idea we should use if we can to make ourselves stand out even more."

Horikita nodded her head in agreement and then gave her final conclusion.

"In that case, perhaps we should take a different approach to this. The ideas we have currently are doable. But since we don't know how much we need to budget for these events, it'll be difficult to decide whether we can go ahead with it. Since that is the case, maybe we should test out these ideas repeatedly, even if we have to use our current private points for that. Test out how a cafe should operate, for example. Or Ayanokouji-kun and Karuizawa-san should perform, and so on."

Hearing this proposal, everyone looked at their nearby neighbours and nodded their heads in agreement to the plan. While Kiyotaka agreed with the idea specifically, in order to fit in better, he looked at Matsushita to see what she thought. It was only then that he saw a small smirk appear on her face before she spoke up.

"But Horikita-san. I don't disagree with that plan, but I think some people will be reluctant to do anything if they have to pay for it themselves," Matsushita said this while gazing at her neighbour.

Even though they were part of the same band and that she probably realised Kiyotaka would be contributing more, Matsushita probably still held the belief that Kiyotaka would hold back and not really put in much effort. Kiyotaka realised this was a direct attack on him to force him to work, even if she knew he would. Though she phrased it in a way to imply that she feared some others would be left to their own devices and not put any effort into the cultural festival, e.g. Kouenji.

"That's fine. I can't force anyone to do something right now if they can't, but I'd rather everyone does something at least to help plan this. I also can't ignore the people who are trying their best to contribute. If you come up with an idea on how we should go about with one of these event ideas, I think you should actively present it. How about this though? If the idea gets adopted, a reward will get paid to the planner."

Most humans weren't as good natured to the point where they would help anyone on a whim without gaining something back. In other words, they would prefer to feel rewarded for any hard work they put in either small or large as soon as possible. This was especially so if the reward was monetary.

"Yes, that's a good idea. It's not a bad idea to reward people for their hard work and contributions."

Feeling satisfied with Horikita's answer, Matsushita pledged her agreement. However, Kiyotaka felt a strange disturbance in the atmosphere that rubbed him the wrong way. Maybe he was just overthinking it, but he swore the two girls secretly made a binding agreement over him through that Q&A.

"One more thing before we end this discussion. We need to keep all the information about our plan private so that no one can steal our ideas. Whether you're at school, in the dorms, or at the Keyaki Mall, be careful what you say."

In other words, thorough confidentiality. This was very important for the next two months of preparation. With the discussion now over, everyone began packing up their things ready to finally do what they wanted. As Kiyotaka began packing up, he heard a voice from his side.

"Ayanokouji-kun, are you and your friends doing anything right now?"

Matsushita asked him a question just as he was about to put his bag on his shoulder. Kiyotaka took a moment to think as he was confused for a second before answering.

"Well Keisei, Haruka, Airi and I were going to go to the Pallet Cafe to hang out and wait for Akito to finish with his club. Why?"

"Karuizawa-san, Shinohara-san, Satou-san, Mii-chan, Mori-san, Maezono-san and I were going to head to Pallet Cafe as well. Since we all hung out this morning before homeroom for a very short time, why don't we continue doing that now while we can?"

"Well-"

"What a good idea, Chiacchi-chan. It would be good to continue where we left off. Airi and Yukimuu aren't opposed to the idea and I'm sure Miyacchi won't mind either."

Haruka, who appeared to overhear the conversation, joined in and stated both her and the rest of the Ayanokouji Group's stance on the proposal. That only left Kiyotaka, who was being stared at by not just Matsushita, but Haruka too. The latter almost had a stink eye that was daring Kiyotaka to say "no".

"...I have no qualms about it either."

Going against that dare for the better, Kiyotaka also agreed to go. Matsushita gave a smile and began to make her way to Kei and the rest to tell them the news. Kiyotaka inwardly sighed as Haruka's "stink eye" faded and returned to normal.

Soon, Kiyotaka left with Kei, the Ayanokouji Group and the Kei clique as they made their way towards Pallet Cafe. As they arrived, they noticed that their group was extremely large for a normal 4 table seating. Luckily, there was a long 12 table seating towards the back, just enough for all of them to sit down and hang out (including Akito).

Kiyotaka sat down in one of the middle seats, with Kei and Airi sitting on either side of him and Satou sitting opposite to him. Pallet Cafe had a new table service that was introduced recently, so there was no need for the group to go up and order at the front desk if they didn't want to. The waitress came by and took everyones order before going back to the front desk to fulfill each order.

The group continued the conversation they were having on the way to Pallet Cafe, bonding over old and new things. Kiyotaka noted that the two groups really were coming closer together and there seemed to be no problems. Originally, the Ayanokouji Group were comfortable with only being with themselves, but it seemed that this had changed after the announcement of Kiyotaka and Kei dating, as well as the recent Talent Show.

"Oh by the way guys," Satou grabbed the attention of everyone just as the recent topic of conversation ended. "I have an idea for the cafe we could do for the cultural festival. I wanted to hear your opinions and if you could help out with it."

"Really? Let's hear it, Satou-san!"

Mori immediately became interested, and the rest of the girls followed. However, Kiyotaka's eyes narrowed a bit.

"Hold up, Satou-san. Remember what Horikita-san said? We need to be careful about what we say outside of our classroom. We don't want to leak any information to the other classes if they are listening."

Before Satou could even mention the idea, Yukimura immediately reminded her and the rest of the girls about the warning Horikita talked about not too long ago. The girls immediately stiffened as they remembered that reminder. Kiyotaka was glad that he didn't have to say it out loud. He glanced at Kei next to him as if beckoning her to speak up to which she understood.

"Yukimura-kun is right. We shouldn't mention it out in the open by voice. But we can use our phones to communicate the idea even if we're together. Satou-san, perhaps it's a good idea to put your idea in a group chat with all of us."

She proposed a solution to the problem that prevented Satou from sharing her idea. Satou's dead-turning eyes were immediately brought back to life after hearing the compromise.

"Oh good idea, Kei-chan. Hold on. Let me create a group chat now for all of us."

Satou immediately went on her phone and began making a group chat for the entire group. Kiyotaka brought out his phone alongside the others and found a notification saying he had been added to a new group chat on the ANHS messaging app. He opened up the app so he could immediately read the plan Satou had thought of.

So like. I had this idea that leverages the cafe idea and our band.

[Satou Maya, 16:19pm]

We are going to go for a cafe as our idea. But if we just do a normal cafe, then we won't exactly stand out from the other classes.

That's why I think we should take it a step further and not just make it a maid cafe. And alongside that, our band can play at the cafe, with us singers wearing maid outfits too.

[Satou Maya, 16:21pm]

What do you guys think?

[Satou Maya, 16:21pm]

Satou looked up from her phone, an expectant expression on her face as she waited for the opinions of everyone who read that message. Kiyotaka looked at everyone else as he waited for someone else to speak up. As someone who didn't really know anything about cultural festivals, he could only sit back and listen to the others discuss the plan.

"That's a great idea Satou-san. Ooo. I wonder what I would look like in a maid outfit," Mori excitedly imagined herself as a make-up maid. She probably was a fashionista, Kiyotaka thought.

"I like this idea too. But I'm not sure if we should do it with a lot of our class's boys being perverts. Ah, except Hirata-kun, Ayanokouji-kun, Miyake-kun, Yukimura-kun and Kanji-kun."

Shinohara, while on board with the idea, protested because she still held the belief that a lot of the boys in Class B were perverts. While Kiyotaka inwardly sighed at this, he couldn't exactly deny that some of the boys in the class were a little perverted. But even he knew they improved at this point in time.

"But isn't Ike-kun a pervert? Aren't you dating a pervert, Shinohara-san?"

As if reading his mind, Matsushita raised the question to Shinohara. Said girl could only blush in embarrassment and look away as she realised her blunder.

"Well... You're not wrong there I guess..."

Matsushita showed a smug expression, as if projecting her pointless win against Shinohara to everyone else which caused Mori, Maezono and Mii-chan to giggle.

"Shinohara-san. I think we should go ahead with this idea. Plus, even if the boys may be perverted, and likely the adults, as long as we don't wear any revealing outfits, then we can just feel like normal maids at a cafe. Also, I'm sure the boys have grown enough to not let their desires cloud their minds when it comes to important details such as class points. And surely adults are mature enough not to do anything."

Kei then gave her view on the idea, which helped to convince Shinohara to throw away the disapproving thoughts... well almost.

"But... Hasebe-san. Sakura-san. You two have the largest chest sizes, don't you feel worried about this?"

Everyone, but Yukimura and Kiyotaka since they were boys, turned to Haruka and Airi to hear their inputs. Airi only gave an embarrassed smile as she looked at Haruka and nodded. Haruka nodded in return and answered the question.

"To be honest with you Satki-chan, I can't get rid of the fact that some boys and maybe adults might stare at us because our bodies might stand out a bit more in the outfits, even if they aren't revealing. However, Airi and I also wore revealing swimsuits with Kiyopon, Miyacchi and Yukimuu around when we were on the cruise ship. We can swallow our pride and do this for the class if need be. So I really think we should go with Maya-chan's idea since it's our best bet in making the most sales in the cultural festival."
