Lucia's POV
It's been a long day.
Yet, my work is not over.
Tomorrow, I'm going to give everybody a trial.
From what I heard, Sirius was imprisoned for betraying James and Lily, as well as murdering some local Muggles and Peter.
I don't believe this rumor.
In fact, I'm going to investigate it.
After all, I'm a barrister.
I'm currently in my office while my son is asleep in his room.
As I sorted out some files, a sound of a pop reached my ears, so I turned to see my House-elf in my office.
"Yes, Izzy?" I asked.
"Lady Malfoy is telling Izzy to tell Madam that Lady Malfoy is here," Izzy explained.
"Thank you for telling me, Izzy. Please escort Lady Malfoy to the living room, and then bring us tea."
"Yes, Madam."
And with that, Izzy vanished with a blink of an eye.
I quickly cleaned up my office, and then headed to the living room where I met my sister-in-law for the first time, sitting near the fireplace.
And as promised, Izzy appeared and served us tea.
"Good evening, Narcissa," I greeted her as I sat on a chair opposite her.
"I wasn't expecting you to appear in this house with your son."
"I know, it's been a while," Narcissa replied.
"So, what can I do for you tonight?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You're going to a trial, yes?"
"Indeed. What about it?"
"It's about your brother."
Hearing this, I set down the tea I was drinking.
"He went downward spiral after the Dark Lord's defeat, I assume."
"Yes."
I sighed, rubbing my temples in frustration.
Father, what have you done to my brother?
"You want me to prove to the Wizengamot that he is innocent."
"Yes," Narcissa replied.
As I ponder this, I kinda think that she had a point.
I do miss Lucius after all.
Well, I finally made a decision.
"What's in it for me?"
As I asked, Narcissa unveiled the blanket she'd been carrying to reveal young Draco's soft sleepy face.
"I wanted for my son to get to know the rest of his family, especially... Andromeda, and... you."
I'm not gonna lie, Draco looks so innocent to be raised like his father.
Not to mention how father used to spoil Lucius to rot that he'll do the same to his son.
"Very well, I believe we have a deal."
Narcissa sighed in relief.
"Thank you, Lucia. I knew I can count on you."
"He's your husband, and my brother, after all," I replied with a smile.
Then, silence broke the atmosphere for a moment until Narcissa spoke up again.
"Would you like to hold him?"
"Please."
She then handed her son to me so I can hold him.
My goodness, Draco is so fragile.
"I'm sure Draco would be happy to meet his cousin," I remarked.
"I agree," Narcissa replied.
