Episode 1: New Owl On the Job
Imp City, a place somewhere in the pits of Hell where the city is mostly populated by Imps. Of course, there are also some Sinners, Hellhounds, and Scubbi, and other kinds of demons that live there. But today, the demons of Imp City are about to have a new residence.
Walking into town is a female owl demon around seventeen years old, and her body is covered with snow white feathers and faded to a silver cream color. There are also dark blue tips on the ends of her feathers a little over her shoulder length tied by a black hair tie. She has a normal white face with a black tip on her beak and a pink stripe. She also has two pairs of crimson red color eyes, the top one is more narrow than the one on the bottom. She also has large tail feathers that are also dark blue and silver cream stripes at the ends: However, her right arm is black with sharp claws, while her left arm and arm are robotic limbs. The left arm is black is the fingers on her claws are sharp, and her legs are robotic and made of black metal as well, and the toes look like claws.
She was wearing a black, red, and white pleated long sleeve shirt, a brown vest, brown cowboy hat on her head, and a pair of holes for her narrow eyes. Around her neck is a red bandana. A brown belt with a silver buckle around her waist with belt bags on each side. The left pocket has a firearm while the other has a knife. She also has a lasso attached to her belt as well. And she is carrying two bags, along with a guitar on her back as well.
The owl girl looks around as she says, "Tarnation, so this here is Imp City. It surely looks bigger than at home."
With that, the owl girl walks into the city and looks around. She is amazed because she has never been to a city before, so she is interested to see what's in store for her.
She sadly sighs and says, "I do wish my family could have been here to see this. But for now, I need to find a place to stay. Then I found some work."
The owl girl then begins to search around for a place to live. However, she doesn't have enough money for anything too big. The best she can do is a small apartment building that has a billboard of a robotic clown, which makes her feel disgusted. Yet, she decides to rent it anyway.
After talking with the landlord of the building and paying the first rent, and such, she is able to get a small studio apartment. She brings her things to the apartment and closes the door. There, she sees a small living room along with a kitchen, and a cabinet closet. She walks through a different door to see a pace for a bedroom, along with a restroom, and another closet.
She sighs and says, "It's not much, but I think it will do."
Deciding to make this her home, she unpack her belongings and set them in the house. She puts her clothes, and her weapons in the closet of her room. Then put other stuff in a cabinet closet. She also places her sleeping bag and her pillow in her room. Then put personal care items in the restroom: brush, tooth brush, toothpaste, a few soap, shampoo, conditioner, and etc. Finally, she puts a photograph next to her sleeping bag and a stuffed gray and white owl toy as well.
The photograph shows the owl girl, but is eight years old in the photo. Between her are two Imps.
The one on the left has crimson skin with muscular muscles, and yellow eyes with red rims in the middle, and has a white scar marking on his left eye. He also has white hair with black and white stripes on his short horns. He was only wearing overalls with a red ascot.
The one on the right is a bright apple red color with black horns that has thin white stripes. She has a black heart on her right cheek. She is wearing a burgundy color dress with short sleeves and it has a white collar on it. Her black hair is also in a bun with a white flower on it. She is holding a baby Imp that is crimson red with white freckles on his face. Yellow eyes and black pupils. He also has shaggy short dark colored hair with a pair of spiral black and white striped horns wrapped in a blanket.
The owl girl sighs and says, "Ma. Pa. I miss you very much."
She then brings out another photo that has the owl girl around fifteen years old and the little Imp, but around five years old. The third one is a candy apple red female imp with really long white messy hair with yellow eyes. She is wearing a black tank top with jean shorts, and black boots.
"Auntie. Roy. I do hope you both are doing fine. It's a big change, but I'll drop by once in a while," The owl girl says to herself and lets out a sad sigh.
One Month Later:
The owl girl has tried to get a job, but the employers either refused or rejected her. She still plans to find a job anyway, but until then, she decides to do street performances. She plays her music with her guitar, and sometimes magic. She also performs dance routines and a combat routine, along uses her telekinesis, wind making abilities, flight, and uses magical feathers. She even uses her firearms to shoot bottles launched in the air, and her lasso. Anything to help her earn some money on the street.
One day, the owl girl is sitting on the ground as she holds out a flier that has 'I.M.P' on it. There is also a symbol with a picture of three Imps. Under the picture it has the words 'Immediate Murder Professionals.' She also has a guitar as well. She plans to apply for the job, after she's done with her performing job. After reading the flier, she puts it away in her backpack, and begins playing her guitar.
Owl Girl:
Before the sun comes up
You gotta start your rocket boosters
Rise and shine, I'm feelin' fine
Wake up, Mr. Rooster
The early bird gets the worm
The sunrise makes me squirm
The owl girl continues to play as she sings.
Owl Girl:
Oh, keepin' busy is keepin' good
Keep on goin' just like you should
Soon, some of the Imps and other demons hear the music and walk over to see her perform.
Owl Girl:
Call me crazy, misunderstood
But you won't hear me complain
Some of the sinners toss some of their loose change into the owl girl's hat that is in front of her.
Owl Girl:
'Cause I got time to spare
Fun to share
My friends along
A job well done by the break of daaaaawn
Meanwhile, close by there are a pair of Imps who are walking down the sidewalk.
The first one is a female imp. She has red skin with white markings on different parts of her body, her eyes are yellow scleras and black pupils, and has long black eyelashes. She has black horns with three thin stripes, and grayish-black hair worn in a messy bob style. She also has a beauty mark on her left cheek, a black heart tattoo on her left shoulder. and has a gap between her front teeth. She is wearing a cold shoulder back crop top with gold buttons, torn pants, fingerless black gloves, black footwear, black torn pants, and a black choker.
The second Imp is male with red skin and white freckles on his cheeks. His white pointy hair leads up to his curvy black and white striped horns. He also has yellow sclera with black slit pupils, a long red thin tail with a quadrilateral barb at the end, as well as lanky digitigrade legs ending in what appears to be cloven red hooves. He is wearing a navy-black coat with red buttons and white cuffs, black pants, a white shirt that has a black turtleneck, a large red bow-tie, and fingerless gloves.
The female Imp happily says, "I told you it was a good idea to go there for lunch, Moxxie."
"Yes Millie, you told me that several times, and the food was good though," The Imp, Moxxie, says.
"Told ya. We should ask Blitz and Loona to come with us next time," The Imp, Millie, happily says.
"I'm not sure about it," Moxxie says.
Suddenly Millie hears something, "Hey Moxxie, do you hear that?"
Moxxie listens as well to hear guitar strumming as well as a singing voice.
"It sounds like a guitar," Moxxie says.
"Let's go check it out," Millie happily says.
She grabs Moxxie's wrist and pulls him down the sidewalk. Soon enough, the two Imps find a small crowd ahead.
Confused, Moxxie asks, "What's going on?"
"I don't know, but somethin' exciting is going on. Let's go check it out," Millie says.
Millie and Moxxie begin to push their way through the small crowd, and to their surprise, they see the young owl demon, dressed like a western cowgirl playing the guitar, and notices her left arm and both her legs are cybernetic limbs. The owl girl continues to sing as she strums her guitar.
Owl Girl:
Keepin' busy is keepin' good
Keep on goin' just like you should
Call me crazy, misunderstood
But you won't hear me complain (Yee-haw!)
'Cause I got time to spare
I got fun to share
My friends along
A job well done by the break of dawn
Keepin' busy is keepin' good
Keep on goin' just like you should
Call me crazy, misunderstood
But you won't hear me complain
'Cause I got time to spare
I got fun to share
My friends along
A job well done by the break of daaaaawn
After the song and guitar playing, many of the imps clap and cheer for the performance, and toss in some coins, dollars, and other stuff into the hat. Then many of them leave the area to continue with their hellish lives. The owl girl walks to her hat and picks it up, but a ten dollar is put into her hat. She then looks up to see the two Imps.
Confused, The owl girl asks, "Can I help you?"
"Hi. I want to say that you put on one s'well of a performance! You must be very talented!" Millie happily says.
"Um, thank you. I've been practicing with my guitar for a long time," The owl girl says, a little embarrassed.
"I must admit, you seem very talented. Yet, someone of your talent shouldn't be performing on the street," Moxxie says.
"And it's also surprising to see an Owl demon as well," Millie happily says.
Then notices her limbs, "And with a metal arm and legs."
"Millie!" Moxxie panics.
"It's okay. I know it seems weird, but I kind of don't have a choice for these limbs, I actually needed them," The owl girl says.
"I see," Millie says, tilting her head.
She then asks, "What's someone like you doing here in Imp City?"
"Well, it's kind of a long story. However, I think it will be easier to start with an introduction. I'm Amara," The owl girl, Amara says.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Amara. My name is Millie," Millie happily says.
Then turns to the other Imp, "And this here is my husband, Moxxie."
"It's a pleasure to meet you. Now, about the answer to Millie's question," Moxxie says.
"It's a bit of a long story. In short, I had trouble getting a job so I started doing street performance. I perform with my guns, lasso, dancing, singing, and my guitar to get by," Amara says.
"Are you able to perform with your limbs too?" Millie asks, interested.
"Watch," Amara says.
She then stretches her robotic arm and makes it twirl like a lasso. She then performs tricks with it. Jumping through the lasso, twirling around her and such. And finishes by lassoing Millie and Moxxie together.
"How do you like that?" Amara asks.
"Wow! You're really good. And it seems like you were able to handle it fine," Millie says.
"I did. I actually found another job to apply for and am planning on going there now," Amara says.
"Where do you plan to apply to?" Moxxie asks.
Amara holds out the flier and says, "An assassin at I.M.P. We're close to where the office is."
"Hey, Moxxie and I actually work at I.M.P. We can take you to the office and meet Blitz, he's our boss," Millie says.
"I'm sure we can persuade you to get a job. What are your qualifications?" Moxxie says.
"Well, I know how to use a gun and a lasso. I also know how to wrangle animals back at my aunt's farm," Amara says.
Millie giggles and says, "Sounds to me that you'll make a great assassin. We're actually heading back to the office, you can come a long."
"Sure," Amara says.
After collecting the earnings, Amara follows Moxxie and Millie to their work. According to Moxxie and Millie, I.M.P or Immediate Murder Professionals is basically an assassination business where they go to the human world and target human beings as a form of assisitng sinners with their unfinished business. Millie also explains that thanks to a special book, they have their access to the human world. According to Moxxie, Blitz manages to get it from the Goetia Prince, Stolas. Amara is surprised and asks how Blitz manages to get it, but Moxxie says that she doesn't want to know.
Sometime later, they arrive at a large building, and reach the seventh floor on the elevators. Soon enough, they reach I.M.P Headquarter. They walk inside to see the lobby, and it also counts as a waiting room. At the reception desk is a female Hellhound.
She has a dog-like muzzle with sharp and pointy teeth and a dark gray nose, red sclera with white irises, white fur with gray patches on her shoulders, a big bushy tail and voluminous gray hair swept to the side to reveal her ear.
She is wearing a black choker that has white spikes. Her gray crop top has strings shaped like a star to resemble an inverted pentagram to hold it up, fingerless gloves and shorts with a crescent moon cut on the right side, black toeless stockings and is barefoot, and piercing on her right eyebrow and two piercings in her left ear - in addition, her right ear is torn.
The Hellhound appears to be busy on her hellphone. Either playing a game or texting messages
Millie happily says, Hi Loona, we're back. Is the boss in his office?"
The Hellhound, Loona answers, "Yeah."
Then notices the owl demon.
Millie happily introduces them, "Amara. This is Loona, our receptionist and Blitz's daughter. Loona, this is Amara."
Amara walks up to Loona, "So Loona... do you have any hobbies?"
"Not really. So what brings you here?" Loona answers, doesn't seem interested.
"Uh yeah. I'm actually here to apply for a job at the company. I do like to meet your dad to apply," Amara says, feeling awkward.
"Only on paper," Loona mutters.
Then says, "He's in his office right over there," and points to the door.
Still feeling awkward, Amara says, "Um thank you."
Amara then walks to the office door, knowing the boss is there. She opens the door and walks inside. She looks around to see a desk on the other side of the room.
She soon notices an Imp sleeping on the chair in front of the desk. The imp is a lanky jester-like imp. He has crimson skin with traces of white blotches that cover his right eye, black long, curved, black and white striped horns with black spines on the back of his head. He has a heart shaped skull symbol on his forehead.
Amara blinks her eyes, a bit confused to see the boss of I.M.P is fast asleep on the desk.
The owl girl walks over to the desk and calmly calls out, "Excuse me?"
But the Imp isn't answering.
Amara calmly calls out, "Hello. Can you wake up?"
Yet, the Boss continues to be asleep. Amara is getting kind of annoyed about being unable to get his attention.
"Hmph. Well then, I'll just have to do the one trick that gets my pa up every time," Amara sternly says.
Amara clears her throat, and lets out a loud screech.
That makes Blizo jump up in fright and screams, "Holy Shit!"
He then falls off his chair and to the ground with a thud. Amara peeks over the desk to see Blitz is laying on his back on the ground as he rubs his head in pain.
Then the imp angrily shouts, "Okay! Who's the stupid fuckin dumb bitch decide to wake me up! It sounds worse than nails on a chalkboard!"
Amara crosses her arms and sternly says, "Sorry to disturb nap time, but I needed to talk to you."
Blitz looks up to see Amara is looking over him, looking confused.
Blitz is able to sit up and says, "Urgh! Fine. You didn't have to scream, you know."
"I tried other methods of waking you up, but that's how I got my pa up," Amara says.
"Okay," Blitz says, and sits on the chair of his desk.
Then says, "Anyway... Hi there, I'm Blitz, the o is silent and welcome to I.M.P. What can I do for you today, Miss...?"
"I'm Amara, it's a pleasure to meet you, Blitz. Sorry about waking you from your nap," Amara says.
"Yeah. So, what can I do for you? Do you need someone from the living world to be killed? Are you a piece of shit that got yourself sent to hell or are you an innocent soul who got fucked over by someone else!?" Blitz questions.
"Uh no. Actually, I'm here to apply for a job at your company," Amara says.
"Really? Well, do you have experience with assassinations or maybe good use with weapons?" Blitz asks.
"Not with assassination, but I do take down hogs and other animals needed for food at my family's farm. I've had good experience with using a rope, knife, and guns thanks to my dad," Amara says.
She then shows him her robotic limbs, "And was able to do well with these."
"Sounds to me like you got a good head on your shoulders. Kind of surprising to see you with limbs like a robot," Blitz says.
But then Blitz notices Amara is not very pleased.
Blitz changes the subject and asks, "How old are you, I have to assume you're rather young?"
"I'm seventeen years old. I hope it won't be a problem," Amara says.
"It's no problem at all... if you think you can handle it," Blitz says.
Amara grins, "I know I handle this. I handle a lot while living at home."
"Great, but I like you to show me if you can get the work done. If you can do that, then I'll consider you working with us," Blitz says.
"Okay. How do I do that?" Amara asks.
Just then, they hear a door knocking, and Blitz says, "That's how. Come on in."
The door opens and a demon walks in. The demon looks a lot like a Lamia. She's somewhat human, but with a red snake tail. Her hair is burgundy that has snakes at the end, with purple eyes, her upper body is also covered with scales, and has pointed ears. She is wearing a sleeveless pink dress with red laces, and is holding a handbag. From her appearance, she seems to be around Loona's age.
The demon girl asks, "Are you the boss of I.M.P?"
"That's right. My name is Blitz, the O is silent," Blitz says.
Then turns to Amara, "And this is the starting employee, Amara. So I suspect you need someone to be off."
"That's correct. I need you to kill someone who wronged me of my life and got me sent to this place. And maybe others who were already victimized by this mad man," Suu says, sounding angry.
"I see. Who is he, an ex-boyfriend who you caught cheating with someone, or perhaps a stalker," Blitz remarks.
Then says, "Unless he's some dumbass who tried to harass you."
Irritated, Suu says, "Well, being stalked or harassed might have been better, considering that he experimented on me."
"Experimented? What happened?" Amara asks curiously.
Suu says as she raises her tail, "Well, it started when I went to a party with my friends. We were having a wondrous time, especially when my friend, Stacy pulled an awesome prank on Jennifer. She's the mean girl of our school. We also party some, drink a bit, and the usual stuff. Then when I was walking home, I was grabbed from behind and woke up strapped to a metal table. And that's when I saw him, the man who ruined my life."
She then brings out a photo of the man. Blitz takes the picture to see a man is bald, but has a gray mustache and a goatee, and goggles on his head. He is wearing a lab coat and gloves.
"The man's name is Dr. Edger Creed. He was a scientist who lived in an old house in my neighborhood. There have been rumors about him experimenting on animals, plants, and people. However, he always acted like a good man, and many people liked him. He even guest speaks at my school. Everyone believed that he was a decent man," Suu explains.
Then grows angry, "But he told me that he needed me to be a test subject. He was trying to create a new breed of humans, by merging war with animals. I came to find out that I wasn't the only one because every few months a single person disappeared. He performed horrible experiments on me and put the snake's D.N.A in me. He then had me put in a tube for the final process, and turned me into some kind of snake creature. However... as you can see... I didn't survive the final part of the experiment, and ended up here."
Then sadly says, "Later on, I met two other sinners who have gone through the same thing that I did. And that's why I'm here."
Then looks at Blitz and Amara, "I want you to take Dr. Edger Creed down and send him to the pits of hell where he belongs, and so he can't use his horrible experiments on anyone else!"
"So what you're saying, you wanted justice not only for you, but for the others who have fallen victim to him?" Amara asks.
Suu nods her head, "Exactly."
"And you do know that when he dies, he'll end up down here, and he'll be stuck here, forever..." Blitz adds.
Suu evilly grins, "Don't worry..."
Then begins to use her coils to circle around Blitz and puts a strong grip around, "I'm already well prepared for when he comes."
She then tights her coils around Blitz, pinning her arms and legs together.
She turns to Amara and asks, "You'll do it, won't you."
"Um sure. I'm sure we can do it," Amara says.
Then Blitz says, "Consider it done. Now will you let me go!" feeling crushed.
Suu lets go of Blitz and happily says, "Thank you.
Then hugs Amara, "I can't thank you enough. And I expect a call and evidence when you get the job done."
After the meeting with the client, Loona brings out a book that has a navy blue cover with gold reflective pages separated by a dark burgundy ribbon, and a gold border with a red gem on the spine. It also has a gold emblazoned with a moon circling a seal and a few stars.
"So this is the book that is used to get to the human world?" Amara asks, curiously.
"The very same," Millie says.
Then brings out the chalk, "Now watch this."
Millie then draws a circle on the floor and draws a pentagram inside it. Soon, a portal opens, leading them to the human world. Amara is impressed to see it.
"That looks cool. Can you use the book for something else?" Amara asks.
"Actually, we only use it to get to the other side. We don't really use it for anything else," Moxxie says.
"It's probably for the best. You are using a book from a Goetia Prince after all," Amara says.
"That sounds about right," Blitz says.
Then turns to Amara, "Alright kid, we're making this a test to see if you can work here. You're going to help us kill this bastard. If you can off him, you're officially on the job."
"Right," Amara says.
"Well then, let's get going," Blitz says and jumps into the portal.
Millie and Moxxie follow after him.
Amara turns to Loona, "Are you coming, Loona?"
"Nope," Loona answers.
"Okay," Amara says.
Amara then jumps through the portal with Blitz and the others. Soon, the group finds themselves in a neighborhood and it seems that it's bright in the afternoon.
"So this is the human world? This place looks a little different than Imp City," Amara says.
"Yeah. Except there aren't any Imps, Demons, Sinners, and Overlords," Millie says.
"I see. So where do we find Dr. Creed?" Amara questions.
"According to the client, Dr. Creed is supposed to live in an old house in the neighborhood," Moxxie says.
Blitz looks ahead and points his finger, "Yeah. And this one looks really old."
The group turns their heads to see the old house. The old house is rather old, and large and looks a bit abandoned. It has two stories, and a balcony, and the grass in front of the house is practically tall and yellow with a fence around the housing area.
"Do you think this could be his house?" Amara asks.
"It has to be. The client said it's the only one in the neighborhood. Let's just off this guy already," Blitz says and begins to walk towards the gate.
Millie, Moxxie, and Amara follow after him. The group soon reach the house and secretly look through the window to see the place is also old, and it doesn't look like many people live there.
"Wow. This place looks even more rundown than the outside," Millie says.
"Yeah. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while," Moxxie says.
Blitz looks around, "I don't see the target anywhere. Maybe he's in a different part of the house."
He then opens the window and sneaks inside.
"Don't you think we should take this with precaution? You remember what Suu told us about him?" Amara asks.
"Yeah. I remember what the snake girl said. What's your point?" Blitz questions.
"I'm with Amara, sir. We should be discreet with handling this one, especially on the kind of experiments he does," Moxxie says.
"Don't worry, we're simply going to kill this guy before he does anything," Millie says.
"Listen to your hoe, Mox. Let's just go in and off this guy and get out," Blitz says, and walks inside.
Amara, Moxxie, and Millie also climb through the window and inside the old house. They soon look around the house to see that it's somewhat normal, but it's old and it looks like many of the objects aren't touched and covered in dust.
"This place looks kind of... rustic..." Millie says, reluctantly.
"And it looks like it hasn't been used in a while. Maybe the guy doesn't live here anymore," Moxxie suggests.
Amara looks in the kitchen and says, "Actually, he might still be around."
The three Imps look in the kitchen to see the place seems a little cleaner than the others and there are some leftover food on a plate on the counter.
"Seems through the guy is still around after all. Question is, where is he?" Blitz replies.
"He must be somewhere in this old house. Let's split up and search for this guy," Millie says.
"Well then, let's split up," Blitz says.
The three Imps and the young Owl demon split up into different areas of the floor. Millie and Moxxie take the bottle floor and see if they can find the basement as well. Blitz and Amara take the stairs to go to the second floor.
Millie and Moxxie soon begin to look around the hall as they each look in different rooms.
"Wow. This place looks like it hasn't been used in years," Moxxie says.
Then runs his finger on the desk and lifts it to see dust, "You think someone who lived here would keep his furniture cleaned."
"And I doubt anyone ever comes here so no one bothers to clean up," Millie says.
Moxxie then looks under the bed to see more dust and cobwebs. Then Millie looks in the closet to see nothing interesting in there.
Then Millie walks ahead, "Where could a mad scientist be..."
Suddenly, Millie's sentence is cut up with a scream, causing Moxxie to turn around, "Millie?"
When Moxxie turns around, he is shocked to see Millie isn't in the area anymore. She has disappeared into thin air.
"Millie? Millie?!" Moxxie calls out, but isn't hearing her voice.
Suddenly, Moxxie hears a strange sound coming from outside of the room. Moxxie brings out his crossbow and walks outside and aims it at whatever it is. However, nothing is there. Moxxie looks around as he points his crossbow around the different directions of the hall. Moxxie eyes quickly turn to different directions to feel a strange presence. Suddenly, something grabs him from behind and pulls him up with a yelp.
Upstairs, Blitz and Amara look around the halls for the doctor himself. Amara opens one of the doors that leads to a room, but the room is empty. Blitz then opens another door and is able to find something.
Blitz turns to Amara, "Hey kid, I found something..."
Amara looks in to see a room. The room seems more clean than the other places in the house. There's also what seems like new blankets and clean furniture.
"I wonder if this is the doctor's room?" Amara replies.
"Well, it looks like I have been living here. Wonder why everything else look like fuckin clean in a long time," Blitz says.
"I wonder that too," Amara says.
Then looks around, "Still, we haven't even seen any signs of the doctor anywhere."
"Is that snake girl even sure he's here? We haven't seen any signs of the target in this fuckin..." Blitz asks.
Suddenly, something grabs Blitz from behind and makes him shouts, "Hey!"
Amara quickly turns around to see some strange robotic arms grab a hold of Blitz and lifts him up from the ceiling.
"What the fuck is this stupid thing?!" Blitz shouts in rage.
"Hold on, I'll get you down," Amara says.
Unaware that the closet door opens from behind her and is holding a sharp dagger.
Blitz sees this and shouts, "Behind you!"
Amara quickly turns behind her to see the man that is in the picture Suu has. Before she can do anything, Dr. Creed ends up stabbing her in her right arm. Amara screams to feel the pain of the sharp knife and falls to the ground.
Dr. Creed evilly laughs, "Well, this is quite fascinating, I got myself two more specimens. And one of them looks like the other two specimens I found in my home."
"Two more specimens?" Amara mutters to feel pain.
"I'll be taking you two as well," Dr. Creed says, and brings out a remote to press it.
Blitz is taken away through the ceiling, and the trap door opens from under Amara and falls through it. Dr. Creed chuckles evilly and goes through the secret door that is hidden in the closet.
Continuing to slide down the slide of the hidden trap door, Amara continues to slide down to who knows where, and suspects that it's under the house. Soon, Amara falls through the door and lands on the ground. Amara grunts in pain as she holds her right arm and sits up to find herself trapped in a jail cell.
"Fuck!" Amara mutters to feel the pain.
Amara soon looks up to see two teenagers who are shackled to the wall. They both look very weak and tired, and their clothes are worn and torn.
One of them is a teenage boy, he is wearing a baseball cap, but still shows his red hair, and light tan skin. He is also wearing what looks like a baseball uniform.
The one next to him is a teenage girl, The girl has blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin. She is also wearing a blue, white, and gold color cheerleading uniform.
The boy looks up to see Amara, "Wh-who are you? Are you one of his victims?"
"Um... well... My name is Amara, and I also got stabbed by this mad doctor. Dr. Edger Creed," Amara says.
"That's him. I'm Abigail, but my friends call me Abby. I'm part of the Cheerleading squad," Abby says.
"And I'm her brother, Tony," The boy says.
Amara walks over and uses her claw to make an enchanted feather. Then uses it to unlock the shackles that are holding the two teenagers. Soon, Amara is able to get the shackles off of the two teenagers from both their wrists and ankles.
"What happened to you two?" Amara asks.
"Our memories are a bit of a blur, but we were heading home after practice and some strange ball fell in front of us," Abby says.
"The ball somehow exploded and we were knocked out. When we woke up, we were trapped here and Dr. Creed said he was going to perform experiments on us. It's still hard to believe that the rumors were true," Tony says.
"Yes. Suu told me that she was also caught by him," Amara says.
Abby becomes surprised, "Wait, you know Suu?"
"Um yeah? Do you know her?" Amara asks, confused.
"Yes. She and I are good friends, but she disappeared after a party we went to and couldn't find her. If she's been trapped here, does that mean she's still here," Abby says.
Amara slowly shakes her head with a frown, "I'm afraid not. Suu died during the final stage of the experiment."
Abby is on the verge of tears, "Oh no."
"It's okay. For now, you need to get out of here and go to the police and tell them what happened," Amara says.
"But how do we get out?" Tony asks.
Amara walks to the cell and uses her feather to trick the lock and unlocks it. Amara then helps Tony and Abby rundown the fall and hurry back up the stairs. They search around until they are able to reach the living room of the house and through the front door.
"Finally, we're out of that place," Tony says.
Abby turns to Amara, "Thank you Amara."
"It's no problem. I leave the police to you two," Amara says.
"What about you?" Abby asks.
"I need to find my friends. Dr. Creed captured them and I need to find them," Amara says.
"Okay. Thanks for helping us," Tony says.
"We'll bring the police as soon as we can," Abby says.
With that, the two siblings hurry off to get the police. Amara then hurries back into the house and down the stairs to the underground area. She suspects that this is where she'll find the Imps. he then brings out her gun and knows that he needs to be finished off.
Somewhere in the underground area, Blitz has been strapped to a metal table, but Moxxie and Millie are each tied to a chair back to back. They end up being trapped in a large room that looks like a lab. There are strange machines with lights, and contraptions. On the table, there are a lot of medical items like those for surgery, and other medical stuff. Even drugs and supplies that are used to seduce beings like drugs that are used to numb or make them sleep for hours. Either way, Dr. Creed has captured the three Imps and has plans for them.
Blitz struggles on the chair, "Fuck. I can't get out of these restraints."
"And these ropes are really tight. He's well with knots despite him being an old man," Millie says.
"But why go through the trouble of catching us?" Moxxie asks.
Just then, Dr. Creed walks in with a sinister face, "To take part in my experiment."
Blitz, Millie, and Moxxie turn to see the mad doctor walking toward the metal table with a rolling table. The table has surgical instruments on the table with cleaning supplies for surgery.
"I must admit, it was surprising to find four unusual creatures. Of course, I plan on seeing what kind of creatures you," Creed says, sinister.
He then grabs Blitz's by his chin and turns his face from left and right, "I must admit, you are an interesting specimen."
Blitz growls in anger, "If you don't want to lose your goddamn hand, then you better put it away, bitch!"
"Don't worry, you don't need to worry about anything," Dr. Creed says and brings out a medical shot and scalpel.
Blitz continues to struggle to break free from the restraints. Unknown to them, Amara is able to reach the door and looks to see Dr. Creed with Blitz being strapped to the table. Despite her arm hurting, she is able to lift it up as she holds the fire arm in her arms. Dr. Creed puts the stuff on the table, and slightly removes Blitz's coat, unbuttons his shirt, sounds the collar and takes off the tie to reveal his neck. Then brings out the needle to punker it into Blitz that will knock him out.
Before Dr. Creed can put the needle with the drug into Blitz, the sound of a gun appears and soon fires. Blitz looks up to see Dr. Creed, having been shot from a head shot and falls to the floor and dies instantly. The three imps look to see the one who has made the shot is Amara holding her firearm with her bleeding arm.
"Amara, you're okay!" Millie happily says.
Taking a few deep breaths, Amara says, "Yeah. And it looks like I made it in time."
"Damn right, you are! Talking about cutting it fuckin' close!" Blitz says, still strapped to the table.
"Sorry, but I had a rough time since I was shot in the arm," Amara says.
"Are you okay?" Moxxie asks.
"I'm fine, I've got hurt more than this," Amara answers.
"That's good to know. Now then, get us out of these things!" Blitz says as he shouts.
"Right," Amara says.
Amara then hurries to the group strapped to the metal tables. Then begins to unlock the straps. Blitz is able to jump off of the table once he is free. Then Amara hurries to Moxxie and Millie to untie them as well.
Moxxie panics to notice Amara's bleeding, "Oh crumbs! Amara, you're bleeding!"
"I'm okay. That creepy scientist stabbed me when he took Blitz and dropped me in that room. Besides, " Amara says.
"Anway, good job on your first day. You're officially hired to I.M.P. Even though we almost became close to being lab specimens," Blitz says, glaring at the scientist.
"Yeah. We should get going before Tony and Abby come back with the police," Amara says.
"Tony and Abby? Who are they?" Millie asks.
"They're actually two other teenagers caught when I was searching for you. When they saw me, they assumed I'm a survivor of Dr. Creed's experiments. Still, we better get going before they find and see us," Amara says.
"Good idea," Blitz says, and brings out his phone.
Then calls Loona and says, "Loona..."
Sometime later, after returning to I.M.P. The Imps, owl demon, and Hellhound are in the meeting room, and having a small celebration for Amara's first mission accomplishment and officially hiring, and assassinating the evil scientist. Even Suu also arrives at the party.
"Congratulations Amara for a first job well done. Now you're officially one of us," Millie happily says.
Suu turns to Amara, "Glad that you were able to take down that maniacal doctor for me. You must be really good with the gun."
"Thanks my pa taught me," Amara says.
Then looks at her bandaged arm, "But it's gonna take a little time for this to stop stinging. But it was worth it so he'll end up down here. That Dr. Creed is a creep."
"He is. And well, thanks for saving Abby and Tony. I really appreciate it," Suu says.
"It's no trouble. If anyone was fucked when they were alive, we can take care of your unfinished business," Amara says.
"I say you're going to fit in just fine. Just remember that you need to do this more often," Blitz says.
"Right," Amara says.
