Janea and Rafael came into the apartment hearing someone in the bathroom. "Angie?" Said Janea walking over to the open door. "Be there in a minute. Just giving Jadelynn a bath." Said Angie looking at her. She cupped some water into her hand that wasnt holding Jadelynn on the upper back and poured it over her soapy head brushing away the water from her face until the soap was gone. Wrapping her into a towel took her to the nursery to put her diaper on and dress her. Angie walked over to the couch with Jadelynn in her arms sitting next to Rafael. "So what's the plan today?" Said Janea. "A walk around San Francisco wont hurt. Then go to the park across the apartment and see Eddie." Said Angie placing Jadelynn on her lap. "Oh you mean your boy toy." Said Janea. "Hes engaged to Anne." Said Angie. "Not anymore after the lab incident." Said Rafael. "What? The interview with Carlton." Said Angie. "Eddie and Anne broke up with him after they were both fired. Anne didnt tell you?" Said Janea. Angie squeezed Jadelynn cheeks gently making her smile a little before waving her arms up and down on her lap. "Oh right." Said Janea. Angie looked down at Jadelynn then glanced down at her pinky with her red and black webbed string. 'I wonder if i should tell him what i witnessed in the lab.' She thought as Rafael snapped his fingers in her face. "What are you thinking?" Said Rafael. "I know that there has been rumors about stuff going down at the Life Foundation about people being experimented." Said Angie trying to calm herself. "Yeah and?" Said Janea. "Its true. Ive been in there and looked like a horror scene. People in glass cages. Alive or dead. I cant get it out of my head especially that woman or what was inside of her." Said Angie adjusting Jadelynn on her lap.
"What happened?" Said Rafael holding her hand. "My mark started hurting as i looked it . . . changed before my eyes then i saw woman standing in front of me just staring at me with her white eyes." Said Angie looking at them as of she's insane. "Thats sounding a type of demon crap." Said Janea. "Im serious. She even called me, Mate. In a male raspy voice and i heard Carlton as Dora told me to leave. The woman screamed and started banging her fist violently against the glass attempting to break it so i just booked it." Said Angie as Rafael and Janea looked at her pinky. "So you're telling us that you have Eddie and whatever possessed the woman is your soulmate. I never heard or read about this." Saod Rafael. "Thank you Cupid." Said Angie. "Okay. How about you tell Eddie? And we will be here watching Jadelynn since you never had a baby break in two months." Said Janea taking Jadelynn in her arms. "You're both right and besides Eddie was pretty determined to take down the Life Foundation. Which i agree with him after what i saw." Said Angie pulling out her phone. "Why dont you just ask him out? He obviously has felt the connection too." Said Rafael using Jadelynn's bib to wipe away a fresh drool dripping down her chin. "I doubt it." Said Angie hearing him pick up. "Hey Ang." Said Eddie. "Hi Eddie. Listen can we meet up today. I really need to talk to you." Said Angie. "Yeah. I was heading out now. Can i meet you at your place?" Said Eddie. "Sounds good." Said Angie before hanging up. "Looks like you and Mommy Angie will be getting a daddy." Said Janea earning a pillow to her face. "We're just friends and he still loves Anne." Said Angie grabbing her pillow and put it back on her bed. "You dont know that." Said Rafael then heard a noise. "Did the floor creak?" He asked then smelled something. "Jadelynn just pooped out a full diaper on Janea." Said Angie.
Janea got up and walked to the nursery to change her. "Im gonna set up some bottles for Jadelynn and get laundry done before Eddie get here in two hours." Said Angie going to the kitchen. "Well im gonna go see what else can be done in the nursery." Said Rafael going to the room. "I need you to take out the diaper bag while i put in a fresh one." Said Janea clipping the buttons on Jadelynn's white onesie. "Whats in it for me?" Sais Rafael placing his hands on his hips. "I'll make you those Reeses brownies." Said Angie shaking up the bottle. "Fine." Said Rafael grabbing the bag and left. "For someone this small can clear out a room." Said Janea before opening the bedroom window. Angie walked in with the warm bottle going over to the crib putting the rubber nipple in her mouth and adjusted her headwrap bow on her head. "Anything from Abby?" Said Janea. "Nothing but voicemails." Said Angie going to her messy bed full of clothes. She sat down folding up the sections of clothes from tops, bottoms, undergarments along with Jadelynn's new clothes. "Carlton?" Said Janea. "Still showing up to my work begging to come back even dropping of flowers and gift baskets." Said Angie as Rafael came in with a white box tied shut with a red bow. "This is for you." Said Rafael putting it on the dining room table. "Want us to open it?" Said Janea. "Knock yourself out." Said Angie putting the baby clothes on one side. Janea took off the ribbon and lifted the lid to show pink chocolate covered strawberries with a bottle of wine. "Called it on the bottle." Said Janea. "Oh back off bitch. I was the one who brought it up and im allergic to chocolate it makes me bloaty and gassy." Said Rafael taking the bottle.
"Alright you win. You kinky whore." Said Janea sitting on the chair eating a chocolate strawberry. Angie continues with the laundry and putting everything away taking her time after Janea and Rafael left and heard a knock. She checked the time realizing that Eddie is here as he said then opened the door to invite him in as Jadelynn was in her swaddle being gently rocked. Eddie and Angie sat on the couch looking at each other quietly for a moment until he broke the silence. "What was it you wanted to tell me?" Said Eddie seeing how nervous Angie was getting. "You know how you wanted to expose the Life Foundation with the whole human experiments." Said Angie. "Yeah. What about it?" Said Eddie leaning in interested. "Its true. I saw what was down in that lab two months and you wont believe me." Said Angie looking at him. "Whatever you saw tell me." Said Eddie. She looked at him before adjusting herself to face him running a hand threw her hair. "Okay what happened was . . ." She started. After explaining to Eddie everything and showed him her left hand with her marking on it made him zone out. Without thinking Eddie grabbed her hand with his left that also had a red string around his pinky. Once he did so an small electric vibration went through their bodies for a second and lets go. "Hey. I have to get going. Thanks for telling this. I'll look more into the Life Foundation and let you know what i find okay." Said Eddie quickly getting up and left. 'What the fuck was that?' Angie thought thinking about what just happened. Eddie got out of the building getting on his bike then looks up at Angies window seeing her bottle feeding Jadelynn then turn his head away when Angie turned to look out the window and speed off to his place.
