"Whew. Finally some peace and quiet." Said Ms. Raifort as she sat down in the teacher's lounge. Nothing was wrong with her physically, but mentally she just wanted to sit there and sleep. She had been teaching classes all day and was ready to give her brain some much-needed rest.
That would have to wait however as she was far too excited to finally be able to go over her notes, pictures and videos she had jotted down and taken of Area Zero.
Finally, after 2 days she could just sit back, enjoy a cup of coffee and analyze the disco…
"Ms. Raifort…" Came the call causing her to turn away from her notes and look to Ms. Dendra.
"Have you seen Florian?" She asked as she approached the desk in which the history teacher was hoping to have some solitude to go over her work.
"Not since yesterday why?" Asked Ms. Raifort.
"He didn't show up for our daily run… I hope nothing happened to him." She said.
"So, he missed a run… we've all been through a lot, so it may be a while before we return to our normal schedules." Ms. Raifort assured her.
"No, that's not like him, he would at least text me or something. I even went to his room and he wasn't there either." The Physical education teacher explained as she took a chair next to Ms. Raifort.
"Oh, come on with Koraidon that boy could be anywhere in the city… actually he doesn't even have to be in the city. He could be on some plateau or in some Valley somewhere ca…"
Ms. Raifort's words were cut off as a young student they both knew all too well came bursting into the lounge.
"Where's Florian!?" She demanded.
"Nemona, this is the teacher's lounge." Ms. Raifort tried to tell her.
"Florian's missing, I checked everywhere… the cafeteria, the library, the sandwich shop and even that Mila's dorm… he's nowhere to be found!" Nemona said.
"Maybe he just went for a ride on…"
"No! He's missing and so is Juliana!" Insisted Nemona.
Ms. Raifort sighed as she closed her notebook. It was useless trying to go over anything right now.
"Listen I'm sure…" She began before once again being interrupted.
*huff* "Boy, Nemona… you can run…" Said a seemingly exhausted Arven.
"Arven this is the teachers…"
"It's okay." Said Mr. Saguaro as he walked in behind the tired boy. "Apparently our boy's girlfriend appears to have vanished."
"Girlfriend!?" Arven gasped.
"Look will all of you calm…" Ms. Raifort tried again but it was no use.
"Have you guys seen this?" A concerned Penny said as she walked into the door.
Ms. Raifort Sighed. "Seen what Penny?"
"Iono's latest livestream." Penny said as she showed her Rotom phone to all of them.
Ms. Raifort watched in disbelief…
…it was short lived however as she and everyone else rushed for the nearest flying taxi.
"Wow, this is the battle of the century!" Shouted Iono to her watchers. Her livestream had about three times as many viewers as her average amount. The comments were flaring. From people amazed that they were watching a battle between four legendary pokemon, to someone asking about the massive crystals in the background.
"Which giant Lizard will come out on top!?" Iono teased.
Truth be told it was a pretty even battle. Sure Florian and Juliana could have used their master balls given to them by the director, but they both believe it was better to have their Pokémon finally end this rivalry between the more aggressive members of their species.
At the moment the battle was pretty even. Both sides got their blows in and were holding their own. However, Florian and Juliana were both just waiting. Waiting for the other two to let their guard down and go for that attack that would leave them vulnerable to a counter.
"Now!" Florian shouted as the attack came. "Breaking Swipe."
"Counter!" Juliana shouted.
Both pokemon followed their trainer's orders, hitting their opponents while vulnerable. The enemy Koraidon fell back and got on one knee. He clutched the area that Florian's Koraidon had swiped him. The Moraidon however flew backward into a crystal and ended up lying flat on its belly.
"Okay finish it off!" Shouted Juliana "Hyper Beam!"
"Giga Impact!" Florian ordered his Koraidon.
The two almost attacked in unison. Sure it was a risky move. Both attacks would leave their pokemon unable to move for a few minutes. Which is why both trainers would only use this as a finishing move.
By the grace of God, it did finish off both pokemon.
Florian and Juliana immediately went for their ultra balls.
"Oh my! Will they actually catch these beasts!?" Iono said to the stream.
There was a tense moment of silence as the poke balls wiggled around, and the red light in the balls' center flashed occasionally.
Then…
"Woooooooooooo!" Shouted Iono as the chat caught fire.
"Yes!" Shouted Florian as the two ran to claim their poke balls which had indicated a successful catch.
"They did it! They caught the…"
"Florian!" Came the shout from… somewhere.
Iono turned to see a small but familiar group of people running towards them. With the person who shouted Florian's name front and center.
"How could you!" She shouted when she reached him.
"Nemona?" Asked a confused Florian.
"How could you… come here without me!" She shouted as she shook the boy violently.
"I…" Suddenly Nemona was firmly but gently shoved out of the way by a much taller woman.
"Ms…
"You…" Was all that came out of the woman as she gave him the death stare.
"Ms… R…" Was all that came out of Florian's mouth before she grabbed him and began shaking him even more violently than Nemona did.
"How could you come here without me!?" Shouted Ms. Raifort.
"Ms. Raifort…" Said Juliana trying to calm the history teacher down.
"You, know how much I wanted to study this place… how many things I left unchecked a few days ago, how much I wanted…
"Ms Raifort!" Shouted Ms Dendra. "Get ahold of yourself!"
Suddenly the group grabbed the history teacher, desperately trying to get her off the young student.
"I'm sorry, I mean you were tired didn't want to bother you."
That was all she wrote.
"You… you… you think learning about one of the greatest secrets in our history is bothersome!" She shouted as she threw everyone off her and continued to shake Florian.
"I mean, you more than anyone knew about my desire to find out the secrets of this place!" She shouted.
The shaking went on for a few minutes before Ms. Raifort finally calmed down.
"Okay folks you saw it here first!" Said Iono. "The capture of two legendaries followed by a history teacher practically assaulting her student. Until next time. 'Ello, 'ello, hola! Ciao and bonjour!"
With that she ended one of her most successful streams, and the group began heading back…
…With Ms. Raifort leading the way, Florian at the end, and Ms. Dendra in the middle just in case said history teacher had another episode.
"I'm sorry." Said Ms. Raifort as she hugged Florian.
"It's okay… I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was coming here." He replied.
"I really am glad you two are okay." She said as she pulled Juliana who was standing next to her brother in for the hug.
"We all are." The group said as they all got in on the embrace.
"Thanks guys." Said Juliana as they separated. "We really just had to make sure these two weren't roaming around causing chaos."
"That's good, but seriously it's not safe for you two to come here alone." Mr. Saguaro advised.
"Yes, and as your history teacher and mentor." Ms. Raifort said. "I accept being your chaperone should either of you ever come here again." She told everyone.
"I'm coming too!" Said Nemona.
"Okay, guys, calm down." Said Ms. Dendra. "The flying Taxi's coming."
The group began climbing in after the taxi landed.
"Ok, is everyone in?" Asked the pilot.
"Yup, this is everybody." Mr. Saguaro replied.
Ms. Raifort watched as Area Zero disappeared over the horizon. She couldn't really blame her students for wanting to return there. And while she wouldn't admit it to them…
…She was definitely going to watch Iono's video of them catching those legendaries when she returned to her room.
