Saki, and Ruby's eyes widened as they stepped off the transport. "Maa, now that's a sight." The Narehate said in a monotone voice seeing Beacon up close. Yang raised an eyebrow.
"Is he ever impressed Ruby?" she asked. Ruby smiled sheepishly. "He can get impressed. It's just a hard feat for people other than me to do." The elder Rose sibling said.
"Maa, that may be true Lil' Rose, but truth be told. Sapphire actually impressed me with her weapon design." Saki said gaining the elder Rose's attention. Any comment in retaliation Ruby had died went Sapphire began to geek out over seeing new and unique weapons
Both Abyss residents raised an eyebrow when Sapphire went full chibi before yang pulled her back. "Er Yang, does Sapphire do that often?" Ruby asked as the Azure Reaper blushed and covered her face.
Sapphire couldn't believe she let her inner weapon geek show in front of her elder biological sister. "Kinda, Sapphire's a weapon geek." Yang said. Ruby smirked and suppressed a chuckle.
Saki frowned seeing Sapphire's face. It reminded him of the times whenever Ruby was upset. "I wouldn't laugh if I were Ruby. You have your fair share of quirks as well." The Narehate said with a sly smirk.
Ruby froze and paled. 'Please don't.' she thought. "Oh? What kind of quirks?" Yang asked mischievously. "Oh she wouldn't take a bath without me until she was fifteen. Even then, I had to and still need to be nearby.
The Blonde's grin vanished. "Wait, you have separation anxiety?" Yang asked looking at Ruby, who looked down in shame. "So that's why you were outside the bathroom while she was in there this morning." Sapphire said solemnly before grasping her biological sister's hand.
Yang did the same by placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. "If you want Rubes, Sapphire and I could take turns taking a bath with you whenever you want to take one." Ruby smiled grateful at her sisters' willingness to help her cope.
"What about showers? Is she ok with those?" Sapphire asked. "Those, I needed to be with her. We didn't have a waterfall near our hut, so we'd have to take turns standing watch whenever we got the chance to."
Ruby's sisters nodded in understanding. Yang saw several of her friends from Signal approaching. "Hey, I got to go. Going to catch up with some friends. You two going to be ok?" She asked before Saki frowned. "Sorry, but I figured you don't count remember." The Narehate sighed.
Despite her sound logic that he technically was there due to Ruby's separation anxiety, he was still given the offer to be a student. "Maa, I do actually. Ozpin offered me a spot when Ruby refused to leave the abyss without me." this got Yang's attention.
"Well then, I'll see you three in the auditorium bye." The blonde said speeding off making sapphire spin whilst Ruby and Saki were unaffected. "Are your parents certain Yang's semblance being strength boost and not a speed semblance?" Saki asked Sapphire eyes blinking twice in shock.
"I don't know." Sapphire said dizzily before stumbling over some luggage. "Maaa, you good Sapphire?" The Narehate asked raising an eyebrow. Before the younger Rose could answer, a voice spoke up
"Be careful with those!" Ruby and Saki turned to see a white, or was it silver, haired girl storming up to Sapphire.
"Uh oh. I sense a spoiled brat incoming." Saki said tilting his helmet to overshadow his eyes whilst Ruby raised her scarf to cover her mouth going into her Scarlet hunter persona.
Both residents of the abyss reached for their weapons, ready to jump in and defend the girl should things go south.
"Do have any idea how fragile these are?" the girl ranted at sapphire. "S-sorry. One of my sisters ran off making me spin like a top." The azure reaper said picking up a suitcase which was promptly torn from her hands
"Sorry!?" the girl yell frustrated. "Do you have any idea what could've happened?" Sapphire began to short out at the girl's rapid ranting which in turn, slowly pissed the abyss duo off.
Just as Ruby was about to advance, sapphire sneezed creating an explosion. "Sweet mother of the abyss!" Saki cried out in his native tongue.
Saki growled as the dust settled as the girl continued to lecture Sapphire. "That's it." The Narehate fumed whilst hefting his musket, Ruby unholstered her sawed off lever-action rifle.
The silverette froze at the sound of rifles being primed. "Maaa, let it go princess. The poor girl's already apologized." Saki said as he and Ruby aimed their guns (loaded with non-lethal ammo) at the girl.
"this is a civilized conversation so back off, you animal" the silverette said. Sapphire flinched but saw no hateful reaction from Mr. Hollow whatsoever.
"It's heiress actually." A new voice spoke up. The group of four turned and Ruby froze. Approaching them had to have been the most beautiful woman she'd seen in the time she's been on the surface
She had black hair and wore a black corset tailcoat over a white sleeveless shirt that exposed her midriff, a black ribbon wrapped around her right arm whilst she had a black arm sleeve on the left. She had purple eyeliner and sparkling amber eyes. Atop her head rested a bow
"Maaa, an heiress?" Saki said noticing Ruby staring at the ravenette. "Yes." The ravenette said. "Weiss Schnee, Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company." Weiss, the silverette, smiled
"Finally some recognition." She said smugly. Saki gave a deadpan expression while Ruby gave her a bored unimpressed glance before looking back at the beautiful ravenette. "The same company known for its underhanded tactics and shady business partners." The black-haired girl said smugly.
"H-how dare you!" Weiss said snatching the vial from the ravenette's hand before stomping away. "I'm sorry! I'll try to make it up to you." Sapphire said before turning to face the ravenette, only to find her departing.
"oh, I don't think so girl." Saki muttered before grabbing one of the girl's coattails and yank her back. Ruby scrambled to catch the tumbling girl.
"MR. HOLLOW!" Sapphire yelled out as she and Ruby glared at him. "What?" Saki asked. "I found her walking away without giving us her name a tad rude."
"Ow, what happened." The ravenette groaned out. "My friend happened." Ruby said looking down at her.
"For a short fella, he's strong." The girl said before sighing. "I'm Blake. Sorry, I'm not exactly a people person." Sapphire gave Blake a sympathetic smile.
"I'm Sapphire. Sapphire Rose, the girl holding you is my older biological sister, Ruby." She said. Blake looked up and soft amber met shining silver.
Blake blushed at seeing Ruby's eyes. To her they shone like diamonds. Saki cleared his throat catching her attention.
"Name's Saki. Saki Hollow. Please call me Mr. Hollow. Ruby, Sapphire, and their sister, yang, do. Might as well do the same." The Narehate said introducing himself. "Sorry for pulling on your tailcoat like that, but it was kind of rude to walk away like that without introducing yourself first."
Blake nodded as Sapphire collapsed causing the Narehates and two seventeen-year-olds to look at her. "Welcome to beacon." The azure reaper said exasperated sitting on the ground.
"Maaa, thinking of dropping out already lil' sapphire? The school year hasn't even begun." Saki asked jokingly. "Of course not, Mr. Hollow. It's just… hard jumping ahead two years."
"Hey Ruby does Mr. Hollow have a..?" Blake began to ask "yes, him saying 'Maaa' every so often is a verbal tic." Ruby replied.
"Hey," a masculine voice said catching the trio's attention. Sapphire turned her head to see a blonde-haired boy holding out his hand. "Need some help?" he asked
"Thanks." Sapphire said gratefully. Saki narrowed his eyes before they widened in surprise.
"MAAAAAA!" the Narehate cried out. "What's wrong?" Blake asked. "Aren't you the guy who puked on Yang's shoe!?" Saki yelled pointing at the blonde making Sapphire and Ruby look at the boy.
"Er, sorry?" he said sheepishly.
A/N: Chapter 3 of the Mr. Hollow AU now complete. Next chapter we'll see the night time interactions between the future Team RWBYSS. Did you really think I'd actually split up the original team with Sapphire and Mr. Hollow added in?
