We meet Cora when she is 31. She has moved to London, to get her writing career started. One day she hears beautiful piano music coming true her window which inspires her to write. Will she ever meet the one who plays that piano? Robert is 34 and works for his father's company, managing estates. He secretly plays the piano.

Sybbie Branson has always been an observer. Most often, she finds herself observing the couples in her family and her life. She explores what romantic love looks like, and what it means to her. Multi-Chapter fic based off a Drabble I wrote in my Downton Abbey Drabbles series.

Setting: 4x7; before the Crawley family travels to London. Since Mrs. Hughes gave the frame with the photo of Alice to Mr. Carson, the matter keeps upsetting her. In another sleepless night she makes up her mind about what to do, while Mr. Carson ponders over his feelings. Will she open up to him? Has he got feelings for her? And what about the photo?

Unfortunately, Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes' wedding does not take place as planned due to an argument the evening before. Set at the beginning of Season 6, after Mrs. Patmore has clarified Mr. Carson's intentions and Mrs. Hughes declared that "he can have her." Attention: M rated!

Modern AU. John Bates's first morning at his new job ends up surprising him in many more ways than one.

Both Tom and Sybil wished for the dinner to be perfect for the other. Both were sorely disappointed, but in the end, their plans failing led to a moment neither would forget.

When widower and father Charles Carson comes to Downton Abbey, he develops a relationship with the family he serves. Over time, he is quite taken with a certain housekeeper. Also, the young Earl and his American wife are beginning to expand their family. This is an 1880s AU set a few years earlier than the canon backstory with Chelsie and Cobert at the forefront.

March 1912 - a baby is abandoned at the doors of Downton Abbey. Servant Thomas Barrow agrees to claim paternity for the foundling. The story mainly revolves around Thomas and his daughter, but the other characters also play a role in every chapter. The characters don't belong to me, only the OC does.

The real heir of Grantham is revealed. How will the Abbey cope?

For full summary, see beginning of Prologue (too long to post). January 1933, and Thomas, Richard and co are faced with several different scenarios centred around family issues, which can be complicated at times. In order to solve their problems, friends must come together.

This story will be a development of Charles and Elsie wedding day. We only saw the glimpse of it in the series, so I will delve a little deeper. One chapter will be devoted to Charles and second one to Elsie.

"These Cherished Chapters" is a fic where each chapter is a standalone glimpse into Charles and Elsie's life - whether it be domestic fluff, romance, smut, or anything else in between. Or, in other words, a place for me to display every small bit of Chelsie goodness I write that has nowhere else to go. Rated-M because some chapters do venture into the territory of adult content.
