Ch 100 The Aftermath

It was already mid-morning and Helena wasn't released from the new room his Parents gave her. They've called for their Family Doctor and Adam to come in,

Both she and Helena had been in the new room for a few Hours already, Sebastian and a few of the Maids went in and out of the room. Upon returning to the room, they brought items the Doctor requested from the Kitchen,

Steven has changed his clothes right after dropping his Girlfriend in the room. Instead of the suit he had worn before, what he quickly got was a pair of jeans, sand shoes, and a purple T-shirt.

Both Lydia and Joseph were waiting outside of the room. They were sitting on the chairs that the Household Staff had placed for them.

The Pokemon were present with the Stone Family, awaiting some news regarding Helena's condition. Mainly, Helena's Pokemon were very concerned for her.

Joseph looks up at his Son, seeing him pacing around. "Steven, Son, please calm down. Helena will be fine," The President of the Devon Corporation said, wanting Steven to relax. "Pacing around won't help her,"

"Meta," Metagross agrees with Joseph, feeling his distress from where he's resting.

"But she was there, Father! She was right there," Steven turned to his Parents, clearly restless from the moment his Girlfriend collapsed. "She was fine just a moment ago and the next thing…she fell unconscious…" The Hoenn Champion said, feeling and looking frazzled with all that happened.

Lydia gave her Son a worrisome expression, "Steven, Dr. Bradford is well-versed in Women's Pregnancy and any other ailments." The white-haired Woman said, trying to comfort her Son. "You're not the only one who's worried for both Helena and the Twins Health. Both me, your Father, and the Pokemon are too," She looks at their Pokemon, looking at the door for Dr. Bradford to come out with news.

"Steven!" The Hoenn Champion turns around, seeing his Friends and Helena's Siblings coming down from the Hall. "We've heard what happened," Roxanne said, coming with Flannery and Brawly.

"Dude, is Ellie going to be all right? And the Twins, how are they doing?" Brawly asked, really concerned for their Friend and their Children.

Steven looks at the door, telling his Friends and soon-to-be Family about Helena's condition. "Dr. Bradford is inside with Helena checking on her condition as we speak." He informed the new People before looking around, "Where's Wallace? I thought he was with you guys?" He asked, curious where the Water-type Gym Leader was.

Flannery crosses her arms, "He's with the Police, talking to both Detective Amethio and Officer Jenny." The red-haired Gym Leader said, feeling bad for the former Champion. "We were all shocked to hear that Maya was involved in the attempted kidnapping of Helena. Wallace and his Family were all taken aback by her actions," She explains,

"I see…I don't blame Wallace or the Mitchell Family on Maya." The Steel-blue haired Champion said, "This was her own doing, Maya knows what she was doing from the moment she decided to try and kidnap her with Team Magma."

N looks at Anthea and Concordia, his expression is all that the Women need to know what to do. "Steven, we'll be lending our assistance to your Family Doctor," Concordia spoke, informing the Hoenn Champion.

Steven looks at the three Siblings of Helena, nodding already trusting them to do whatever it takes to help his Girlfriend, "Right, you go on ahead." He said, watching them enter the Bedroom.

After Anthea and Concordia entered the Bedroom, N proceeded to ask Steven some questions. "Steven, I thought your Parents' Home was the safest place for my Sister to hide. What happened to your reinsurance!?" He asked, angered by how Helena was placed in immediate danger.

Brawly and Flannery held back N, seeing him getting up close to Steven. "Woah there, there's no need to be angry with Steven, N," Flannery said, defending Steven. "I understand your anger N, but this isn't his fault."

Roxanne nodded, supporting the Fire-type Gym Leader's statement. "Roxanne's right, nobody expected Team Magma to find where Helena was hiding." The brunette Gym Leader said, "Speaking of which, how did Team Magma find out about the hiding spot? This was supposed to be a secret, that only a few People know about it."

"Someone must've told them," Flannery said, crossing her arms feeling a bit angry that there was a possibility of a traitor among them. "That's the only explanation I could think of…"

Brawly turns to Flannery, outraged that someone would betray them like that. "Who in their right mind would betray us like that!? It ain't right!" The Fighting-type Gym Leader exclaims, wondering who betrayed them.

Steven ponders, trying to pinpoint who has told Team Magma where Helena was hiding. "If I may say something," Everyone looks at Joseph, standing from his chair. "I believe there's another possibility that could explain how Team Magma knows where Helena was hiding." The President of the Devon Corporation said, sharing his thoughts with his Son and his Friends.

"Father…what do you mean? What other reason could explain how Team Magma figured out where Helena is?" Steven asked his Father, wondering what could possibly explain the situation.

Joseph looks at N, seeing he's the only one who can confirm his suspicion. "N, is it possible that there's an Ability User that could possibly sense where other Ability Users are?" The navy-blue haired Man asked the former King of Team Plasma.

N took a moment to think, understanding Joseph's question. "I only know one Person who can detect other Ability Users; however, he hasn't been seen since the last time I saw him." He explains, pointing to his former Father who has that Ability.

The green-haired trainer asked the Shadow Triad about Ghetsis's whereabouts. Their answer is both relieving and yet concerning, Ghetsis has disappeared without a trace.

"However, this isn't his doing. Though he can sense where an Ability User is, but at a certain distance." N explains to the group, "This Ability User knows what was going on from the beginning to end."

Steven understands where N is going with this. "In short, we're looking for someone who has the Ability to predict the Future and the many possibilities that comes with it." The Champion said, biting his thumb.

"Yeesh, talk about a terrifying Ability." Brawly wince, not liking the idea that someone can see every move they're going to make before they get the chance to make it. "But who in Hoenn got that Ability?" He asked the group.

"An Admin of Team Magma, one of two Confidants of their Leader. Courtney Lagan," Wallace entered the Hall, his face more serious than his cheery persona. "She and another Admin of Team Magma are Abilities; Courtney can see in the Future. The other she's unsure of." The Sootoplis Gym Leader told the entire room.

"How did you get this information, Wallace?" Flannery asked the teal-haired Man, curious about what he did to gain this information.

Wallace smiles, answering the red-haired Woman. "I've spoken to Maya; as her Brother it's only right to slap some sense into her for the actions she took," He said, disappointed with his Sister, "Though stubbornly, she told me what she knows. Basically, she's a lower Grunt with special permission to capture Ellie." He explains to his Friends.

"They won't stop until they get what they need." The Water-type Gym Leader spoke,

"What they need? By that you mean, Helena." Brawly said, catching what his Friend was trying to say.

"Helena needs a new hiding place, we cannot let Team Magma get to her," Roxanne said and everyone, including N, agreed with the sentence. "But where should she hide? Maya might already told the Leader of Team Magma about us and already have eyes on each of our Homes and the League." The brunette Gym Leader said,

Roxanne was right, everyone ponders on what to do regarding the situation. They tried to think of a place where Helena could be safe from Team Magma.

Everyone thought hard about a good place for Helena before Lydia spoke up. "I think there's a place Helena could use," The white-haired Woman said, holding Mawile in her lap.

The navy-blue haired Man looks at his Wife, wondering what she has in mind. "Lydia, dear what are you suggesting?" Joseph asked,

"Joseph, Steven, remember our special place?" Lydia said, having the perfect place for Helena to hide out.

Everyone looked at each other, unsure of what the Stone Family was talking about. "Special Place?" N questions, seeing Steven's eyes widen.

"Ah, that place," Joseph said, now understanding what his Wife meant. Turning to their Son, the President of the Devon Corporation proceeded to tell him what his Mother was talking about. "Steven, remember where we spent our Summers when you were younger? No one outside of the Stone Family and Staff knows about it."

Steven's eyes widen, remembering the place his Parents are mentioning. He nodded, seeing this as another opportunity to keep Helena and his Sons safe. "Right, I'll tell Helena what the plan is now,"

"Can you fill me in on what you're going to do?" N asked the Stone Family, feeling like he should be informed of things regarding his Sister's safety.

Lydia, Joseph, and Steven looked at each other, nodding that the People with them were trustworthy and should be told where Helena's new hiding place was.

Helena moans, waking up from the Sunlight hitting her face. She could hear laughter coming from the other room.

Curious, Helena got out of her Bed and walked towards the sounds of laughter. Heading to the Bedroom door, "Laughter?" She asked herself, curious who was laughing.

Based on the laughter, she could make out that one of the People laughing was Steven. However, there were two laughs that she didn't recognize, and yet felt like she knew them.

Opening the door, Helena was greeted by a bright light and three silhouettes. "Ellie." Steven smiled at her kneeling on his Apartment floor. In his arms were two Children, two Boys; one with white hair and the other with Steel-blue hair like Steven's.

The Boys turned and faced Helena, though their faces were obscured, she couldn't help but smile. "Ellie, wake up…"

Helenna flinched, seeing both Boys speak to her, using her Nickname. "H-Huh?"

"Ellie, Helena, wake up."

Helena slowly opened her eyes, hearing a familiar voice calling her Name. "Ellie," Turning around, she saw Steven kneeling beside the Bed.

Steven gave a relieved expression, seeing the black-haired Woman awaken and alright. "Helena, you're awake!" He exclaims, his eyes tearing up, unable to contain them.

The Steel-blue haired Champion held onto Helena's hand, lowering his head. "Thank Areus, you're alright."

Helena was groggery, the last thing she remembered was that Team Magma was at the Mansion and…"T-The Twins! How-" She placed her hand on her stomach, feeling that her stomach was still big indicating that she hadn't given Birth to her Sons.

"Don't worry, Helena. Your Sons are alright," Helena turns around, seeing her Mentor finishing talking with a green-haired Woman wearing a Doctor's coat and her Sisters explaining something, most likely how to care for Ability Users when Pregnant.

"What you experienced was something called False Labor. It happens from time to time, right Dr. Bradford?" Adam looks over to the Stone Family's Doctor.

The green-haired Doctor turns to Helena and everyone, nodding to what Adam said. "Yes, especially now that you're close to giving Birth. If this False Labor indicates anything," Dr. Bradford picked up her Rotom Phone, extending it to a Tablet. "You might give Birth rather early before reaching your final Month."

Helena tried to sit up, Steven and Adam helped her and placed her back on the Bed Frame. "Will it affect the Babies, Doctor?" The black-haired Professor asked the Doctor, wanting to know the risks when it comes to giving Birth early.

Steven nodded, wanting to know the risk as well. "Please, anything would do, Dr. Bradford." The Steel-blue haired Champion said,

"Of course," The green-haired Doctor said, telling the young Parents what the diagnosis. was "Considering that these Children are going to be Ability Users and with some insights from your Sisters, Professor." She looks at both Anthea and Concordia smiling at Helena on the side, waiting for their time to speak with her.

Dr. Bradford looks at the two, continuing to inform them what to expect. "I'll be blunt, there's a slight chance that your Sons would develop some Health issues, such as a weak condition and the risk of Asthma." Both Helena and Steven held each other's hand, hearing the chances of their Son developing some Birth defects,

"Can it be managed if they develop those risks?" Steven asked, wanting to be prepared for the Birth.

"The only thing I could give you is to hope for the best." Dr. Bradford apologizes to the young Parents. "But the good news is that it's not fatal, as long as Professor Potter takes care of herself then the Birthing process will go smoothly." She said, giving her predictions.

Helena nodded, understanding what her Doctor said to them. "I see…thank you for your insight, Dr. Bradford." The black-haired Woman said, thanking her before leaving them to speak.

Once the Doctor left, Steven looked at everyone, "Can I have the room? There's something I need to speak to her about." The Champion asked, requesting some privacy.

Adam nodded, understanding where this conversation was heading. He turns to Anthea and Concordia, anticipating what Steven will do. "Anthea, Concordia will you two help me just for a moment?"

Both Sisters nodded, Anthea, turning to Helena with a smile. "We'll be right back, Sister." The pink-haired Ability User said,

Concordia walks over to their Guardian, turning to their Sister, "Rest up when you can, Helena. Both you and your Sons need it after what transpired," The blonde Ability User said, walking out of the Bedroom.

As Adam opened the door, Kirlia and Helena's other Pokemon went inside once they caught a glimpse of her sitting up.

"Kirlia!" The Emotion Pokemon ran over to Helena's Bedside, looking up at the black-haired on the Bed.

Each of her Pokemon, Dragonair, Sylveon, and Hattrem all cried in joy, at seeing their trainer awake.

Helena giggles, seeing her Pokemon were really worried about her. "Everyone," She was aware that her Pokemon did their best trying to rescue her from her Kidnappers. "You did well fending off Team Magma," Helena said, showing her gratitude to their best.

Anthea and the others smile, deciding it's the right time to leave the room. "We'll leave you be, Helena." The Ability User said, leaving the room.

Once everyone left the room, Helena looked over to Steven, wondering what he wanted to talk to her in private. "Steven, what do you want to talk to me about in private?" The young Professor asked her Boyfriend.

Her Pokemon looks at the Hoenn Champion, curious what he has to tell her. Steven looks at Helena, sharing his thoughts with her. "Helena…I'm not sure how I'm going to tell you this…" The Champion said, scratching his head.

"Steven, I can tell it's about what happened with Team Plasma." The black-haired Professor stated, "It's pretty much obvious at this point." Helena said, looking at her Boyfriend's surprised expression,

Steven paused for a moment before giving a small chuckle. "I can't really hide anything from you, Ellie." The Champion said before getting to the point. "Anyways, due to Team Magma's Attack, we're going to relocate you somewhere else."

"There's a place where it's remote and only a few People know of its location." The Hoenn Champion said, not breaking eye contact with her.

Helena had a feeling that they were going to change hiding places. However, the idea of changing location is sudden but she got behind it. "I see…so where's the location?" She asked, placing her hand on Kirlia's head.

The Steel-blue haired Champion sighed, "I'm afraid that I can't share that information now, Ellie." Steven said, feeling bad for keeping information from her. "I'll tell you when we're already on the way to the new hideout." He said,

Helena ponders for a moment, thinking over what was going to happen in a short while before giving her thoughts. "Does everyone know what the plan is now?" She asked,

"Yes, they more or less know what's going to happen," Steven said before adding one more thing to the plan. "My Mother will be here with someone I trust to help with our disguise." He explains to his Girlfriend.

The black-haired Woman looks at Steven, hearing that they're taking extra precautions to where they're going. "Disguises!? Steven, do you think this is a bit much?" Helena asked, watching her Pokemon agree with her.

"Kirlia, Kirlia," Kirlia added, speaking for everyone that this was a bit much.

Hattrem, Sylveon, and Dragonair also agreed, sharing their thoughts on the plan. Indicating they were against the idea of Helena going with a disguise.

The Hoenn Champion understood where Helena's Pokemon was coming from. "I understand you and your Pokemon are against the idea of a disguise," Steven leans towards Helena, also against the idea of disguising themselves from Team Magma. "But our appearance is well known throughout the Region, especially you because of me." He said,

Helena has to admit, her Boyfriend does have a point. Everyone in Rustboro knows who she is, from being the Pokemon Professor in the Trainer School to a Substitute Gym Leader one time at the Rustboro Gym, the Scientific Community via her Research and Potion making, and being the Champion's Girlfriend/ Soon-to-be Wife.

She sighs, realizing that she made a Name for herself just like she wished for all those Years ago. "I guess you're right…" Helena said, knowing she was a bit stubborn right there. Most likely her Hormones getting to her.

"I'm sorry, Steven. I know you're trying your best to keep me and our Sons safe." Helena apologies to her Boyfriend,

Steven smiles, understanding how Helena is feeling right now. "Don't be, you have every right to be upset, Helena." He said, placing his hand on Helena's cheek. "I don't like it too, but it's something we need to do."

Helena nodded, looking at her Pokemon Partners, "I know and you Girls understand too, right?" She asked her Partners, to which they responded that, understood the situation.

"I'll leave you be to rest, Ellie. Mother will come in once Alister arrives at the Mansion." Steven said, kissing her forehead before leaving to give Helena the rest she needed.

Helena smiles, taking the time she has to sleep some more.

Later in the Afternoon, Lydia stood next to Helena assisting her with the disguise before moving to the new hiding location. "How does it feel, Helena?" She asked the young Professor.

Helena looks in the mirror, checking over the disguise of both her and Alister Dark, the Coordinator who went against Wallace during the Sootoplis City Contest put out for her. Now an Agent of the Pokemon League, under orders of the Chairwoman and Champion.

The young Professor now wore a seafoam green Sundress, indicating where they were heading would be tropical. However, she now where a pair of black circle glasses, and her hair was now an orange color,

"I don't know, I still look the same minus the hair," Helena commented, feeling a bit uncomfortable looking at herself in the mirror.

Alister walks forward, adjusting some things on her back. "Team Magma is looking for a young Woman who has black hair and green eyes. They're not looking for a Woman with orange hair and green eyes. Also…" He reached for a hairbrush, combing the wig to be a bit frazzled. "The Wig will and Glasses will conceal your eyes. Normally I have some Eye Contacts, but I ran out of those. It's the best I could do this short notice." He stated,

Helena turns to the violet-haired trainer, appreciating his work regardless of her appearance bringing some…personal feelings.

"Helena, what's the matter? You seem to be conflicted." Lydia took notice of Helena's sudden change in facial expression. "What is it? You can always tell me. Is it the dress? We can-""

The now orange-haired Woman flinched, turning to her Future Mother-in-law. "N-No, it's not it, just…" Helena looks at the mirror, smiling sadly at herself. "I look just like my Mother, my Godfather, and Teachers back Home say that I look just like her but with my Father's hair color." She chuckles, remembering what they say every Friends of her Parents.

Lydia understood what Helena was saying, giving her a solemn expression. "Oh, I'm sorry dear. I didn't know the Wig would bring up painful memories," The white-haired Woman turns to Alister, packing some things into his bag. "Alister could you-"

"No, I don't need to change anything. You two did great in making this disguise," Helena said, preventing the two from going through the process of choosing a disguise. "I appreciate the work you did for me." She added,

Both Lydia and Alister looked at each other before the white-haired Woman began to speak. "Alright, Helena, if you're sure then it's alright with us." She said before hearing th Bedroom door open.

"Helena, the Car's ready for us-" Helena looks at Steven, seeing he was already in his disguise. He wore a green Alolan Shirt with a black undershirt, white shorts, and sandshoes, "W-Wow, y-you look beautiful in that dress, and your hair color suits you too." Steven commented, his cheeks were red, seeing it compliment her figure despite being Pregnant.

Helena smiles, seeing Steven's disguise which was a less formal wear but still looks good on him, plus with his new hair color. "Y-You too, you still look the same but with blonde hair…" No matter what hair color Steven has, he still looks Handsome to her.

"T-Thanks," Steven blushed, turning to his Mother and Alister who were gushing over the Couple complimenting each other. "A-Anyways, everyone is waiting for us downstairs in the Lobby," The Champion held his hand to his Girlfriend, offering to be her escort.

"I'll be your escort from here on out," Steven said, still acting as a gentleman towards Helena.

Helena smiles, accepting the gesture, "Hmm,"

Steven guided Helena through the Hallway, unaware of the Maids gushing over them as they walked.
