"We need to run," Anguish cried as the giant Trigon-Raven lifted her giant foot.

"Don't have to tell me twice," Bart said as he pushed Tim and Anguish out of the way. Trigon-Raven gave a mighty roar and released tendrils of black magic. Thankfully, Anguish threw up a shield, protecting the trio. "Thanks," Tim said, turning to her.

"Who is that?" Bart asked. "Is Raven afraid of turning into a giant?"

"It's her biggest fear," Anguish cried. "She's afraid she'll turn into Trigon; she's afraid of herself."

"Trigon?"

"Her father," Tim whispered.

"I'm scared," Anguish cried, keeping her shield in place.

"You're doing great," Bart encouraged. "Please don't drop the shield."

"Okay," she continued to sob.

"Bart, run her somewhere safe as soon as the shield drops," Tim said.

"Okay, and, um, exactly where is that?" Bart asked. Anguish dropped the shield before Tim could answer. Trigon-Raven released another roar before placing both hands on the ground and released a surge of black energy underground. "Oh no," Bart said as cracks formed beneath the trio's feet and the earth quaked.

"Aah!" Anguish screamed. She wrapped herself, Tim, and Bart in a black bubble and lifted it to the air. Tim's eyes widened as he saw the ground below them split open, forming deep, jagged fissures. "Oh no," Bart said, looking at Trigon-Raven. Trigon-Raven raised her hands and shot beams of powers at Anguish's sphere. The trio screamed as they went flying into rocks and boulders. Tim groaned as he struggled to lift himself from the ground. "That's gonna leave a bruise," he groaned. Bart ran over to Tim and helped him the rest of the way up. "Where's Anguish?" Tim asked.

"I don't know," Bart said before quickly scouring the area. He appeared in front of Tim and said, "She's nowhere around." Then the boys heard a horrific scream from above. They looked up to see Anguish in the iron-grip of the Trigon-Raven. She wailed, and Tim had never felt more helpless. "What do we do, Tim?" Bart asked. "I can try to – "

"Hey!" a bold voice shouted. Bart and Tim looked up to see a figure flying from above. Another Raven. "Leave my friends alone!" she screamed. She created what appeared to be a sword and brought it straight down on Trigon-Raven's forearm. Trigon-Raven screamed as the figure decapitated her forearm. The other Raven dislodged a blubbering Anguish and flew her to where Bart and Tim were standing. "I'll be back," the newest Raven released Anguish, dropping her into Tim's arms. "Over here, you stupid, ugly bitch!" she screamed at the Trigon-Raven as she flew towards the giant at an astounding speed.

"Who is that?" Tim asked Anguish, whose cries had died down.

"She's Confidence," Anguish sniffed.

"Oh," Tim said as he watched the Raven attack the Trigon-Raven with a sword, a whip, and her powers. She flew low, swiping at both of the giant's Achilles. She stabbed Trigon-Raven's quads and hamstrings. "She's attacking her muscles," Tim said in awe as Bravery continued attacking Trigon-Raven's muscle groups. The giant swiped and shot blasts of energy at Confidence, who dodged every blast with ease. "Hiyah!" Confidence screamed as she plunged her sword deep into one of the giant's eyes. Confidence then drew the sword across the giant's neck. Trigon-Raven screamed and gripped her throat. Confidence then took the sword and drove it through the chakra stone on Trigon-Raven's forehead. It pierced the skin, shattered the skull, and embedded itself deep in Trigon-Raven's brain. Trigon-Raven's body stiffened. She fell to her knees and then fell over, dead. Her body then disappeared into ash right in front of their eyes. The trio stared in silence. "Well, that's that," Bart said.

Confidence flew down and landed in front of the trio. Tim studied her from head to toe. Her uniform and eyes were green. She met Tim's eyes with a smirk. "Like what you see, handsome?"

"Uh…um…" Tim stuttered as Bart's jaw dropped. Never in his wildest dreams had he thought Raven would hit on him.

"Feel free to look," she blatantly studied Tim's body from head to toe. "I like what I see, too."

"Uh…I…"

"Wait, are you blushing?" Bart asked. He stared at Tim in shock. "Omigosh, you're blushing."

"I'm not blushing," Tim vehemently denied. "I'm not blushing."

"You're blushing," Confidence said. "Hey, Anguish," Confidence greeted the girl still in Tim's arms.

"Oh," Tim said, placing Anguish on the ground gently. Anguish yanked her hood over her head, engulfing herself in a Vantablack void.

"How'd you do that?" Bart asked.

"Defeat BBB? Please," she scoffed. "I fight her every day. She's not that tough."

"BBB?" Tim asked.

"Big Bad Bitch," Confidence replied.

"Is that what Raven's dad looks like?" Bart asked. A whimper at the mention of Raven's dad came from the black void that was Anguish.

"Ha! No," Confidence laughed. "No. He is way worse. Way worse. Terrifying. I have no confidence in my ability to defeat Trigon. That thing," Confidence pointed to where Trigon-Raven stood, "would get destroyed by Trigon's pinkie. She's nothing compared to him. She's less than nothing."

"You defeated Trigon," Tim said.

"And died while doing it," Confidence said, motioning for the two boys to follow her. "The way out is this way. You coming, Anguish?" A high-pitched, "Okay," emanated from the Raven-sized black hole. "Also, that wasn't our first or third time fighting Trigon. Hey, Anguish, how many times did we fight Trigon?"

"Ten," came the soft answer.

"Yeah, 10 times," Confidence agreed. "That sounds right. Before, Raven was never powerful enough to invade Trigon's head. Then she was. So we helped her infiltrate his mind and tear it apart from the inside. We took his brain and shredded it into a million pieces, then we merged his body with ours, and tore our body apart. It was epic. You should have been there."

"O-kay," Bart said as they approached a door.

"Here we go," Confidence said as she opened the door and stepped through it. "Welcome to the world of Knowledge."

"It's a library," Bart said.

"You're an observant one," came a dry response. A figure in yellow appeared from between the stacks. This Raven dressed in yellow and wore glasses. "Finally, you're here. It took you long enough."

"Omigosh! You're here!" a peppy voice came from behind Knowledge. Joy bounced out from behind Knowledge. "I was super worried, but now you're here." She threw her arms around Tim and said, "You're alive. Hey, Confidence, Anguish," Joy greeted. A responding grunt came from the floating black blob.

"Why do you get a hug?" Bart whispered his question to Tim.

"Who wouldn't want to hug him?" Confidence asked, bumping Tim with her hip as she walked to Knowledge.

"So, you're Knowledge?" Tim asked.

"Technically, I'm Wisdom," Knowledge replied.

"What's the difference?" Bart asked.

"Knowledge is the accumulation and assimilation of information, understanding, and cognitive processes. It encompasses the intellectual grasp of concepts, facts, and theories gained through study or experience. Emotions are affectively states characterized by subjective experiences such as joy, anger, or sadness. They differ from knowledge because knowledge is a cognitive construct. Knowledge involves intellect and rational thought; emotions pertain to our psychological responses and feelings."

"That makes sense," Tim said. "Wisdom is often regarded as an advance cognitive process rather than a pure emotion. However, wisdom closely associates with emotional intelligence because it integrates both cognitive and affective components.

"Wisdom involves the application of knowledge and experience in a manner that reflects deep understanding, judgment, and insight. It engages the prefrontal cortex," Knowledge said.

"Exactly," Tim nodded along, "and everyone knows that the prefrontal cortex handles executive functions like decision-making and social reasoning, as well as the limbic system, which governs emotional responses. In Raven's mindscape, wisdom is connected to her ability to regulate emotions, empathize, and show compassion.

"They contribute to wise decision-making by allowing individuals to understand and balance her own emotions as well as the emotions of others," Knowledge explained.

"And while wisdom itself is not an emotion, it often encompasses and is influenced by a sophisticated interplay between cognitive functions and emotional experiences," Tim added.

"You understand perfectly," Knowledge said. Tim nodded. "I explained it to the Emotional Avatars, but..."

"But they decided to refer to you as Knowledge anyway," Tim finished.

"Precisely. Joy, you were right. I like this one." Knowledge turned to Joy. She frowned. Bart, Anguish—who had removed her hood—Joy, and Confidence stared at Tim and Knowledge like they'd each grown a second head. "What the heck?" Bart eventually spoke. "What was that?"

"Whatever it was, it was hot," Confidence said as she winked at Tim.

"I take it you've come to me because you would like to leave Raven's mind," Knowledge said.

"Yes," Tim answered.

"I cannot send you back," Knowledge said. "Only Raven can."

"Man," Bart huffed in disappointment.

"However, I do know how to get her here ASAP. There are two emotions that would get an immediate response from Raven. One avatar is enclosed in a sarcophagus that none of us can open."

"Oh, small cracks have begun to form," Confidence said.

"Really?" Knowledge raised a brow, momentarily interested.

"How exciting!" Joy jumped and clapped her hands.

"It's going to be awful," Anguish cried and pulled her hood up.

"The second emotion is locked up, but if we free her…" Knowledge turned to Confidence.

"Ooh, Raven would definitely come running. I'll go get her. This is going to be fun," she said, rubbing her hands with glee before teleporting out of the library.

"Follow me," Knowledge said to the two boys. She spun on her heel and walked deeper into the library. Tim and Bart followed closely while the two other emotions walked behind them. "What emotion do you think she's talking about?" Bart asked. Tim didn't hear him. He was studying the books on the shelf. I wonder if they're real, he thought. "Tim," Bart nudged his leader.

"Yeah?" Tim asked.

"Do you have a theory about the emotion we are being taken to see?" Bart asked.

"I don't have the faintest idea."

"Okay," Knowledge stopped at a door that was half the size of the others. "This is a shortcut. After me." Knowledge ducked and walked through the small door. The others followed. They emerged on the other side. They were now outside. There was a stream, a waterfall, a blossoming tree with flowers Tim had never seen before. The area was very…calming. I could stay here all day, Tim thought. He was immediately broken from his thought by what sounded like a growl. "What is that?" Bart asked. Tim turned away from the picturesque scenery and saw Confidence with a chain in her hand. The chain led to a collar, muzzle, and handcuffs. The restraints adorned her neck, face, and wrists of Raven. She wore blood red from head to toe. Her uniform deviated a bit from Raven's. Besides blood red, she wore thigh-high leather boots, a long-sleeved leotard, and no cloak. Her hair was long and wavy. She sported two pairs of glowing red eyes. Her perfectly quoiffed brows furrowed even more, and she tried to lunge at Tim and Bart while growling…or maybe she was trying to speak. Tim wasn't sure. "This is how we'll get Raven's attention," Knowledge said.

"Who is this?" Bart asked while understanding slowly donned on Tim. From the seductive twist of her hips to the hate-filled eyes, Tim knew who this was. "Passion," Tim muttered.

"Very good, Tim!" Joy gushed. "This is Passion. She embodies lust, hate, and rage."

"Yep," Confidence said, turning to Tim with a mischievous look on her face. "And she can't wait to get her hands on you."
