Feels good to be back on here, let's continue shall we?

At Home

"Pheebs! We're back!"

"Ah, I knew you two were gonna be back in time. I figured I'd keep Andy awake a little longer for you guys." Phoebe chirpily replied.

Phoebe handed Andrea over to Arnold.

"Hey there, Princess! Did you miss your pop? 'Cause I sure missed you!" Arnold tickled Andy, she let out her cute baby laughter.

"Andy, I think it's time for you to finally see who'll be your mother." Arnold then turned to Spinelli. "Are you actually for real?"

"I'm serious, Spinelli. I think you more than earned this." Arnold smiled. Spinelli smiled back. "I love you." Spinelli kissed his cheek and soon smiled at Andy. "Hey there, baby girl. I'm so proud to be your mother." Arnold smiled at Spinelli. "And I'm so proud to have you with me, Spinelli." Arnold then kissed her forehead.

Spinelli smiled at Arnold and kissed him afterwards.

"Let's get Andrea to sleep and then we get some rest for our shift?" Arnold looked over. "Definitely."

"Phoebe, we can't thank you enough for always taking care of Andy when we're gone." Arnold smiled at Phoebe. "It's never a problem, Arnold!" She smiled. "Goodnight, love birds." Phoebe smirked as she grabbed her purse.

Spinelli and Arnold blushed, but soon smiled at each other and kissed. Andy would toy around with Arnold's tie as her parents kissed.

Later

"Man, what a night. Especially with that car wreck we had to deal with." Spinelli started as Arnold crawled into bed next to her. "It's weird to do that stuff when off-duty. I felt so restricted somehow."

"Well, at least you're not so restricted now." Arnold smirked as he rubbed his hand across her stomach. "Oh, stop it!" She chuckled. She then kissed him afterwards. "Arnold… You know how we've been having these hookups to now having our first date, right?"

"Yeah, why?" Arnold put an arm over her. "And we've known each other for years, been so close to each other, and you were always there to support me… I feel like it's time we… we take our relationship to the next level." Arnold smiled at her. "Spinelli, I've been having this feeling for you as of late, and I agree. I think it's finally time for me to move forward and continue with my life." Arnold gave a long kiss on Spinelli's forehead.

"Arnold… I love you."

"Spinelli… I love you, too. And I want you to be my girlfriend." Arnold held her hand. "And I gladly accept. Arnold, I love you." Spinelli gripped Arnold's hand. The two smiled at each other.

Spinelli soon turned around to snuggle up with Arnold. "Goodnight, sweetheart." Arnold smiled a big smile. "Goodnight, my angel." Spinelli smiled as she closed her eyes, while Arnold rubbed her back to make her feel more comfortable.

"I love you." Arnold smiled at Spinelli, who smiled back until she fell asleep.

The Next Morning

It was bright and early, and time to return to the Firehouse.

Arnold soon woke up as sun beams shined through the window of their bedroom.

Arnold lightly shook Spinelli. "Spinelli, wake up. Time for our shifts." But Spinelli kept sleeping. "I think I know what should wake her. Arnold soon leaned over and started kissing Spinelli's forehead.

Spinelli soon woke up and saw Arnold already awake. She immediately grabbed his face and started a kiss on his lips.

"Morning, my lovable football head." Spinelli kissed his face and smirked. Arnold had a goofy look before composing himself. "Morning, sweetie. Ready to go start our shifts?"

"Ready as ever!"

"Say, should we tell the others we're now dating? I mean, we can't keep it a secret to late ruin the entire Department, the station runs on trust." Arnold started. "Let's let them know that you're all mine! I bet Vic will turn red just by seeing us together!" Spinelli smirked as she held Arnold's chin. "Wait. Are you saying Vic had a crush on me?"

"Uh…"

"I'll admit, she is beautiful and all… But I love you a lot more, Spinelli, and I wouldn't have it any other way. You're my one and only, Spinelli, and I love you." Arnold kissed Spinelli's cheek. "And I love you more, Arnold." Spinelli smiled. "I seriously can't recall the last time I've ever felt this special or loved."

Arnold caressed her cheek. "You're loved now." He smiled. She couldn't help but smile as well.

"Now c'mon. Gotta check on Andrea and get to the Firehouse."

"Not without this." Spinelli soon held Arnold's face and started to tongue-kiss him.

After a minute, they separated. "Now we can leave." Spinelli smirked as they saw the thin line of saliva connecting them. Arnold only smiled as they briefly kissed again.

"You go check on Andy, I'll get our stuff." Arnold suggested. "Alright, just let me get some clothes on at least." She smirked as she got out of bed. "You didn't have panties on?" Arnold asked as he looked away.

"Well of course not! You said I could feel free in bed with you so I figured why not." Spinelli replied as she put on her black panties. "If it wasn't for me loving you so much… I'd just kiss again." Arnold couldn't help but chuckle.

"Hey, chuckles! Instead of laying around right now, check on our princess!" Spinelli said as she put on her sports bra. "Alright, alright. I'm going." Arnold soon got up from bed and kissed her cheek before leaving for Andy's room. Spinelli only smiled.

Later at The Station

"Man, that's what you get for what you said last night!" Travis laughed as he yanked Donovan's chair right before he sat down.

"I'll get you for this!" Donovan said as he stood up.

"You guys already having fun without us?" Arnold laughed as they came upstairs. "How's it hangin', you two?"

"Actually, Spinelli and I have an announcement to make." Arnold soon replied. Spinelli smiled as they held hands.

"Oh! Don't tell us!" Tommy started. "Lemme guess…" He then snapped his fingers a few times. "You guys are pregnant?"

"What? No. Why would I get pregnant? I don't want to leave the smell of the black turnout uniforms and the trucks." Spinelli replied.

"Are you two transferring?" Vic said as she ate chips from the bag.

"Are you for real?" Arnold and Spinelli lowered their eyelids. "I think we should stop there before anyone else says anything stupid." Spinelli said.

"Everyone, I would like to announce that… Spinelli and I are officially dating!" Arnold soon announced as the two raised their hands together.

Everyone started clapping and cheering.

"WOOO!"

"Alright!"

"You two are perfect for each other!"

"Aww, how beautiful!"

"Thanks, you guys. And we truly appreciate your support." Arnold and Spinelli smiled at each other. The two then felt their shoulders poked at.

"AH!"

"Mom?!" Arnold soon saw who it was. "Great to finally hear you two are together." Stella smiled. "And I'm not here 'cause I'm stepping down. I decided to stay as Chief, I love this job too much to step down." She clapped twice.

"Everyone, I came here to quickly announce that… I've officially shut down Station Forty-Eight."

"Why exactly?" Spinelli asked.

"I had multiple anonymous people come up to me about chemistry problems, meaning they don't get along. And multiple problems with the Captain and Lieutenants there, the rookies were getting mistreated and everyone was being worked too hard lately, and found the engine room floor stained with puke."

"Yeesh. And what'll be of them?"

"The city will be investigating the Captain and Lieutenants and determine what to do with them."

Everyone started chit-chatting about the shutdown station.

"Alright everyone, I know it's a pretty devastating situation there but it had to be done. Keep up the great work and like always, keep this Department in tip-top shape. And also, I see you guys have Lieutenants in love." Stella smirked at Arnold and Spinelli. "Mom…"

"Fifty-Five!"

"Fifty-Five!" Everyone repeated back.

"Man, I love that." Vic soon said as she looked at the others.

"Alright, just 'cause we're dating, it doesn't mean we get any special treatment or whatnot." Arnold soon said. "So that means I can still pour ice buckets when you aren't looking?" Gerald laughed.

"Oh, I should make you run suicides down in the engine room…" Arnold then laughed. "Full stomach and everything?" Gerald replied with cereal in his mouth.

"And turnout gear." Arnold chuckled. "Spinelli, come get yo man and calm his ass, I didn't do anything!" Tommy looked over.

"I have my ways with him…" Spinelli playfully had a finger on Arnold's cheek. "But I think he should make you run suicides downstairs." She then laughed.

Everyone was laughing by then.

"Alright enough of that." Travis started. "I bet I can balance a salt shaker on my nose longer than all of you guys!"

"You're on!"

As they kept goofing off, Spinelli soon turned to Arnold.

"Arnold, I wanna ask something about my parents…"

"Sure, what's wrong?"

"I know they've been away for the entirety of my life, but should I try reconnecting with them… or just push them away…?" Arnold didn't know what to answer. "Spinelli, I wish I had the answer right now but-"

"Engine Fifty-Five, Ladder Fifty-Five, Aid Car Fifty-Five, Requested at Southwest Penn. Ave. Structure Fire." The Dispatcher started.

"Wait, Arnold. That place sounds familiar…" Spinelli told Arnold. "Isn't that around the same street where you used to live?"

"Yeah but there's an apartment complex there as well! Last night my parents texted me they were around that address if I ever wanted to come see them!"

"What are we waiting for? C'mon!" The two immediately ran down to the Engine room.

After a minute, everyone was in the trucks and soon rolled off.

"Dispatch, we're on route, any reports of entrapment?"

"Negative, Fifty-Five. We'll keep you posted."

"Copy." Arnold looked back at Spinelli, who was looking out the window. Arnold felt bad for her as they were all mostly silent.

"She ok?" Tommy asked. "I don't know… This address is a little personal for Spinelli, she used to live around there."

"Ah, I see now."

As the trucks honked their horns, cars moved out of the way as they mostly weaved through traffic. Other cars would be stubborn and just be an obstacle.

"Move out of the way, asshole!"

"Yeesh. Some people don't even bother, do they?" Travis looked at Gerald. "Nope. Not at all."

Minutes Later

The trucks soon came to a stop near other trucks. Flames were seen raging from one side of an apartment.

Stella soon approached them.

"Chief, what are we dealing with?" Arnold soon asked. "I've gotten multiple reports of a suicide attempt, others say possible grease fire, and others simply say and I quote 'idiots'."

"Is that really what it says?" Travis mentioned. "Ok, I made it up. Anyways, I had Thirty-Three start an immediate evac. I had no one else to get on fire attack so I had you guys requested here."

"Alright, I want a team with Thirty-Three on evac, and the rest are on fire attack. Vic, Gibson, Johanssen, Dixon, Montgomery, and McCaffery, you're all on evac, this is a big place so we have to work fast. Rest of us are on fire attack." Arnold handed out orders. Coughing would soon be heard.

"Help…!" The man soon fell to his knees. Spinelli soon saw who the man was. "Dad?!" She immediately kneeled next to him. "Dad, what the hell happened?! Where's Mom?!"

"Sugarplum… I think your mother… is back there…" Bob pointed at the flaming department. Everyone looked over.

"Lieutenant, I'm going in!" Spinelli told Arnold. "No! Spinelli! Stand down!" Arnold tried to grab her arm, but she already ran off. "Gibson, you're with me! McCaffery, fire attack! Tommy, get him treated!"

"With you, Lieutenant!" Gibson replied. "Copy!" Russell replied. "Got it!"

Arnold looked over where Spinelli was headed, but she was already out of sight. The roofing would soon have flames rage from it as everyone flinched. Sparks soon flew onto nearby trees, igniting them.

"Dispatch, requesting an additional two Engine companies and a Ladder Company, and another Aid Car…" Arnold went on the radio as he kept looking.

"Copy that, Fifty-Five."
