HOW BOUT THOSE CHIEEEEFS! And for those who watch the NFL will understand :) Time for the Chiefs to get another ring :)
"Any plans on calling your parents soon?" Arnold asked.
"Tomorrow before our date. I've been thinking about it and… I feel like they need a second chance." Spinelli replied. Arnold smiled. "You're doing the right thing, sweetie."
"After all, I'd say they owe me big time." Her phone then sounded with a text message. "Who is it?"
"Oh, it's from Ashley Q. A friend of mine, along with Ashley A. I asked her to come over tomorrow and see if she could help me with my dress and all that."
"How come you're not saying their last names or something?" Arnold asked in confusion. "It's what they were always called since we were kids."
"Oh-kayyy?"
"Yeah well, don't ask me and ask them." She replied as she grabbed her phone. "Wait, what? I thought I told her to come over tomorrow."
Shortly after, the doorbell rang.
"Is that your friend?" Arnold asked. "Yeah, and try not to get hard, will ya?" She teased. "The hell is that supposed to mean?" Arnold got up and followed behind her.
Spinelli opened the door to an eager Ashley Q.
"Spinelli, it's so good to see you!" The two hugged. "Yeah well, despite our history, it's always great to see a friendly face."
Ashley Q bit her lip when she looked at Arnold. "Sayyy… Who's this charming man?" Ashley Q giggled. Arnold only blushed. "My darling boyfriend, who else?" Spinelli replied with a raised eyebrow.
"Lucky… He looks so freakin' handsome." Ashley Q giggled as she played with her hair.
Ashley Q had perky breasts and curvy hips. Her hair was brown and reddish and curly. One could brag she just throws herself into anyone's arms for sex, but in reality, she was a sweet, caring, and compassionate girl.
"Spinelli, you are seriously lucky! What's your name?" Ashley Q looked at Arnold. "Arnold. Arnold Shortman. Yes, I know my last name is pretty odd. First Responder for Station Fifty-Five." Arnold shook hands with Ashley Q.
"An honor to meet you, Arnold! I heard plenty about you actually. Not just from Spinelli, but a little bit from the media."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but that's all a different story to tell." She was just itching to at least give Arnold a kiss. Spinelli had a raised eyebrow. "Is there something you're hiding from me?" She then asked.
"Spinelli, can I give him a quick kiss? I know you two are dating but ugh! I just don't recall seeing a person this charming!"
"Well uh, gee… I didn't think you were already that attracted to me." Arnold blushed as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Alright… JUST on the cheek." Spinelli rolled her eyes.
Ashley Q smiled. She leaned in for a long and slow kiss on Arnold's cheek. He felt his cheeks red hot along with the softness of Ashley Q's lips. She was also wearing lipgloss.
"Any time now…" Spinelli tapped her foot impatiently. "Sorry, I couldn't help it." She bit her lip as she looked over at Arnold. Ashley Q made a kissy face at Arnold afterward. Arnold felt his cheeks red hot.
Later
The three were seated in the living room, and discussing the career choices Arnold and Spinelli made.
"So, Arnold, how come you became a first responder despite being so rich?" Ashley Q asked curiously.
"Welp… What can I say? It's something I always had in mind as a teenager. Even though I was basically the most popular kid in high school, they disagreed with me on that, but I decided to prove them wrong instead. Even though I'm rich enough to do whatever the hell I want, I don't care about the money, I just want to do something I pursued, and that's how I also met Spinelli." Arnold put an arm over her and kissed her head.
"And how exactly?"
Spinelli then took over. "Well, it all started at the Fire Academy, actually. At first, we were just friends. We went on and graduated together from the Academy, we were separated to different stations unfortunately, but I was lucky to transfer later in my rookie year. It wasn't just to see Arnold, it was mainly how bad Station Sixteen was. But after my transfer, I was at Fifty Five, and soon enough, Arnold and I grew a close bond. And it's history from there on."
"Well, that's quite a love story, I will say that. But let me be the first to say… You two are so cute together!" Ashley Q chirpily said. "Why, thanks." Spinelli smiled as Arnold kissed her head while rubbing her shoulder.
"But what are you doing here today? I thought you were supposed to come over tomorrow."
"Well, I couldn't help it but I honestly had to find out whether you were seeing someone or not, and I found my answer. And say, he's quite charming." Ashley Q bit her lip as she looked at Arnold.
"You're not having sex with him…" Spinelli lowered her eyelids. "Chill out on that, ok? I wasn't trying to do any of that!" She replied.
"In case you need a demonstration." Spinelli smirked at Arnold. The two then passionately kissed.
"Awww. How cute!"
They separated shortly after, Arnold kissed Spinelli's forehead, making her giggle a little.
"Did I just hear her….?" Ashley Q noticed Spinelli's giggle. "Uh…."
"You're really the only person who could figure out how to make her giggle!"
"Oh, brother…" Spinelli facepalmed. "Sorry…?" Arnold blushed at her.
Later
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Arnold!"
"It was nice meeting you too, Ashley."
She then left from the front porch.
"Well, that was interesting…" Arnold looked back to see Spinelli on the couch.
"Ugh… Finally, I can loosen up a little." Spinelli took off her pants and was just now in her panties. Arnold soon sat beside her.
"I can see someone was anxious to take their pants off." Arnold smirked. "Ugh, can you blame me? I needed to let loose a little, besides, I do it around you only. And don't get any ideas!"
"Oh, what? This?" Arnold smirked as he snuck his hand under her shirt. "Arnold, stop! I'm ticklish there!" She giggled.
Arnold then touched her sports bra. "Arnold, stop!" Spinelli kept giggling. Arnold slowly kissed Spinelli's neck as he touched around her sports bra.
"Arnold! Stop for a minute, will you?" Arnold looked at her. "What's wrong?" He slipped his hand out from her shirt.
"Look, as much as I love how romantic you can be, I'm just not in the mood right now, I prefer to let loose right now, and maybe just relax with you?"
"In other words, you want some cuddles?" She nodded. Arnold noticed the sparkle in her eyes and smiled. "Anything you want, sweetheart." Arnold kissed her forehead.
Spinelli soon snuggled up with Arnold, he wrapped his arms around her waist, while she got comfortable.
"Finally, a moment of peace." Spinelli felt relaxed more than ever, and with Arnold right with her. Arnold kissed her cheek. "Feeling better?" She nodded happily.
Arnold then remembered he had to check on Andy. "Spinelli, mind if I go for a minute? I have to check on our little princess."
"Don't take too long." She replied as Arnold stood up. Arnold soon went to Andy's room and see how she was doing.
Arnold peered into her room and noticed her asleep.
"I knew babies sleep all the time but yeesh." Arnold chuckled. "Ah but heck, let her rest and enjoy all the freedom she has." Arnold smiled. He then took a stuffed animal dog from a shelf and walked over to her crib. Arnold smiled as he saw his little Princess asleep.
"Here you go…" He whispered to himself as he laid the dog plushie next to Andy. "You have no idea how lucky I am to be your Dad." He whispered again and smiled. He then leaned over for a quick kiss on Andy's head.
Arnold was about to head to the living room but saw Spinelli shivering a little. He went toward their bedroom for one last thing.
"Gee, what's taking him so long? It's slightly cold right now and I want him to warm me up! I already miss his warm arms." Spinelli complained as she shivered a little.
Arnold soon came back with a blanket from their bed. Spinelli looked over after he threw the blanket on her. "Thought we could spend a little time here together." He smiled.
"Didn't have to throw it." She chuckled. Arnold soon cuddled up with her. "Up for a little TV or what's on your mind?"
"I was maybe thinking of watching a wrestling match, haven't watched one in years."
"Wrestling it is." Arnold turned the tv on. Spinelli smiled as she felt Arnold's arms around her.
Meanwhile
"Shit…" Donovan exclaimed as he got out of the truck. They had gotten back from a call that went south real quick. Everyone was all dirty and covered in sugar candy, chocolate, and almost every candy in the book.
"That better be the last time I ever see candy again…" Michelle complained as everyone's uniforms were still sticky.
"Last one to the showers has to clean the trucks!" Travis quickly said as he raced upstairs.
"Aye c'mon!"
"That ain't fair!"
"I'm not cleaning them!"
Everyone raced upstairs behind him.
Tommy ended up being the last one. "C'mon, you guys!" He complained once they all reached the showers upstairs.
"Your problem, not ours." Michelle gave a sarcastic smile.
Back home, Spinelli had fallen asleep minutes after watching the wrestling match. Arnold had turned off the TV and held Spinelli in his arms. She had turned around to face him, and Arnold smiled at her while she was asleep.
Arnold only kissed Spinelli's forehead as he couldn't stroke her messy hair with his arm around her. Arnold slowly kissed Spinelli's forehead several times as he felt at peace with his life. For once, he felt extremely happy with where he was at. Arnold thought he'd live his life in misery, but he'd find his happiness with Spinelli, and she found her happiness with Arnold.
This may feel a little lazily written, but its a bit of a break from all the action, we'll be back on it soon.
