Spinelli was in the living room with her parents, while Arnold was checking on Andy. Diesel was also in her room, mostly sleeping.

"Come to Pop! Who's my little Princess? You are!" Arnold picked up Andy and decided to toy with her. He then saw a stuffed animal on one of the shelves. "Hey, sweetie, you want that?" Arnold pointed at a bunny plushie. Andy then reached for it as if to say she wanted to play with it. Arnold only smiled as he went to grab the bunny plushie.

Arnold toyed with Andy with the bunny. Arnold heard the joy in her laughter. Andy then hugged the plushie while Arnold smiled at her.

"You guys are earlier than expected."

"Well, we really couldn't wait to see you again, sweetheart." Flo smiled at her daughter. "Well, like Arnold said once, life is too short to live with a grudge or anger… I love you guys." Spinelli hugged her parents.

Arnold then walked in with Andy in his arms. "Am I interrupting something?"

"Oh, not at all!"

"Mr. and Mrs. Spinelli, how's it going?" Arnold approached them. "It's great seeing you two again! And Arnold, it's great seeing your lovely daughter as well!" Flo gave a smile to Arnold. He smiled back.

"You mean OUR daughter." Spinelli smirked as she stood beside him. "Don't think I'd ever forget that." Arnold smiled and kissed her.

"Can we just mention the fact you two look so beautiful together!" Flo smiled at them. "Thanks… Mom." Spinelli soon smiled back.

"Now, where's the ring?"

"I thought we left those jokes years ago!" Spinelli rolled her eyes. "We're sorry, but it was hard not to make that joke." Bob, her father, replied.

"Alright, what's next? 'When's the wedding?' or 'when is the honeymoon?' or even 'Hey, when will the next child come?' Hm?" Spinelli crossed her arms. "Don't give 'em ideas!" Arnold looked at her.

"Come to think of it…"

"Dammit…" She facepalmed. "Oh, we're kidding, honey! Anyways, shall we sit and talk?"

"Of course, Mom." Spinelli smiled at her mom.

Her parents went to sit down, while Arnold kissed Spinelli. "Love you, sweetheart. You're doing the right thing in reconnecting with them." Arnold smiled at Spinelli while Andy was toying with her plushie.

"Thanks, Arnold. You made me realize it was never too late to reconnect with them, and I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me. I love you." Spinelli smiled at Arnold. The two kissed after.

"Hey, before we go and sit down…"

"What's that?" Spinelli looked over. Arnold kissed her once more. "That's all." He smiled. Spinelli playfully rolled her eyes with a wholehearted smile.

Meanwhile

Aid Car 55 arrived at MedStar Memorial, with Kenyon's life now on the line.

"Thirty-year-old male, crush injuries from an accident, possible internal bleeding and trauma." Travis told the ER doctors the necessary info as they got the stretcher out of the ambulance.

"Thanks, we'll do all we can now." Phoebe replied to Michelle as the stretcher was wheeled inside in a hurry. She then rushed inside.

"Think he'll pull through?" Donovan asked as they stared at the inside of the hospital. "I guess all we can do is hope and pray he pulls through. Let's wait inside?" Travis replied. Michelle and Donovan nodded.

Back At The Mansion

"Well, we never got the chance to properly meet you, Arnold, so how about we take the chance now? Tell us all about yourself! We want to know our daughter's charming Prince!" Flo started. "Mom!" Spinelli blushed as she had Andy in her arms now.

"Welp… I'd say so much we'd be sitting here 'till next week." Arnold chuckled. He had an arm over Spinelli's shoulder. "Well, that just shows the number of accomplishments and stuff he's achieved before even meeting me!" Spinelli smiled at him.

"Oh, who cares how long we sit here, we want to hear all about Arnold!"

"Well, I usually don't like talking about myself, uh…." Arnold blushed. "But where do I start?"

"Since the days at the Fire Academy is fine." Bob replied. "We're curious how our little girl did anyhow!"

"Nice to know you care." Spinelli rolled her eyes. "I mean… She has a point." Arnold started. "But it's never too late to reconnect, you know?" Arnold smiled at her. Spinelli smiled back as she shrugged.

"Well, I'd say the weeks at the Fire Academy were pretty intense, I'll say that. But I'd honestly say I was the most hard-working candidate there, ahead of Spinelli, of course. Now, those three weeks were pretty tough, and I also remember how Spinelli and I always got a chance to work together and hang out after we were done doing drills and all that, not to mention how we also goofed off at times."

"Oh?"

"But besides that, I'd say I'm very hard working, I'm kind and compassionate about the job, but I wouldn't say it's a job, it's more or less something I enjoy doing, and I know Spinelli can agree on that."

"Yup. A firefighter bond is different than anything else, and quite frankly, the bond Arnold and I have is quite unbreakable."

As they kept talking about Arnold, things at an airport were rather off…

An airport in the city was going under minor reconstruction while still in operation, and many workers were replacing many walls and vents. Even outside walls were being replaced with how old the building was.

"Guys…"

"Yes, sir."

Chatter was loud amongst them when light smoke was filling the air, but nobody noticed. Workers were currently rebuilding a ceiling at a terminal with polystyrene insulation, a material that wasn't used much.

WHOOSH

In a split second, a fireball erupted on the ceiling, and several metal pieces fell as well.

Smoke detectors went off at the terminal, along with the entire airport. The airport fire trucks responded immediately.

Fire was spreading fast from the ceiling above the workers, they escaped before the room was engulfed shortly after.

A Couple of Minutes Later at The Mansion

"But uh yeah, and I have to say she is definitely one of the greatest friends I ever had. And fast forward until two weeks before today, here we are, in love." Arnold kissed Spinelli's forehead and smiled.

"Well, honey, let us tell you right now, you're doing an amazing job at caring for Andrea! And we also hope one day you'll give us a grandchild." Flo smiled at her daughter. "Well, don't expect it to be soon, I'm not too keen on the whole pregnancy crap. Don't get me wrong, I wanna carry our child, I'm just a little scared 'cause I'd have to leave the firehouse in the meantime." Spinelli replied.

"There's no rush, sweetheart." Arnold smiled and rubbed her shoulder. His phone then went off. "Hey, it's Don!"

"Donovan? What's he saying?" Spinelli looked over. "Currently at MedStar, Kenyon is currently in emergency surgery." Arnold then got a text from his mother. "Hey, your mom just texted as well, what's it say?"

Arnold then checked the text message. "She's on her way to an airport fire with an engine company, doesn't know whether it's severe or not. But judging that she had to be called in, I'd say severe." Arnold looked over.

At the Airport

"Southside is starting to get hot, Chief, and we have entrapment as well."

CRASH

Another fireball erupted into the air.

"This is NOT looking good…" Stella said as the fire lighting reflected off their faces.

"Dispatch, strike out a four-alarm NOW!"

"Copy."

Stella then heard several news choppers coming. "Oh, great…" She then huddled up the engine company.

"Listen up! I need every one of you on evac now! We're already wasting time here, I need you all to be on evac, once more companies arrive, I'll give them their assignments. Now go! Move it!"

"Hello?" Arnold answered a call from Michelle. "Hi, Arnold, turn on the news. Just trust me."

"Ok?" Arnold grabbed the TV remote and turned it on to the news. It displayed the spreading and raging fire at the airport, the airplanes that hadn't taken off were grounded.

"Michelle, am I seeing right?"

"I wish it was a joke… I don't think this will end well."

Within minutes, many Engine and Ladder companies arrived at the airport but had a bit of a difficult time parking their respective trucks as several cars were in the way.

"Alright you guys, listen quickly, I'm assigning several Ladder companies on evac, I want triage units away from this, and I'm choosing out several Engine companies to head in there as well. We're wasting enough time here, now get your asses in there!" Stella ordered.

"Twenty-Three, Fifteen, Sixteen, Nineteen, Fifty-One, and Twenty-Nine, your Engine companies are headed in." Stella told the respective companies as many of them were now rushing around. "Luiz!" Stella pulled the Lieutenant of Twenty-Three aside. "With your Captain out with injury, I expect you to guide your team and listen to my orders, got it?" She whispered sternly. "I will, Chief. I won't fail this time…"

Luiz then ran off with his team.

Forty-Five Minutes Later

"To think that you two guys are always running toward danger when everyone else is running out… How do you guys even do it?" Bob asked.

Arnold and Spinelli smiled at each other. "Well, it's something our former Captain told us as rookies… How is it that firefighters always run into a burning building, when everyone else is running out… We're always answering that question by saving another person's life. Our courage is the answer."

"That's right! Fear is always at the back of our minds when it comes to making life-saving rescues. And to be fair, half the time we're so distracted we don't notice the dangers." Spinelli lightly shrugged while giving Andy her bottle.

"Well, you guys are more than brave." Flo smiled at them.

Meanwhile

"Thirty-Three, status."

"Secondary search all clear, we're almost done here, one last room to check."

"Copy." Stella shifted her attention to the triage units. "Medic One, report."

"Majority of them have either minor burns to full burns around their bodies. Many of them also have smoke inhalation as well."

"Copy loud and clear."

"Mayday! Mayday! Firefighter down! I repeat, Firefighter down!"

Everyone heard their radios as three fireballs erupted from the roof.

"I'm gonna need all hands on deck…" Stella said to herself as the fire reflected off her eyes.

Stella immediately went toward her pickup truck to call her son.

"Hello?"

"Arnold, I seriously hate to bother you right now but… are you available for this five-alarm? I need all hands on deck!"

"Are you kidding me? Of course, I'm available!"

"Hey, count me in! Injured or not, I'm always up for a challenge!" Spinelli chimed in. Arnold looked over. "Are you sure?"

"To hell with needing rest, I'm itching for action!"

"See you outside, and get some proper pants on." Arnold raised an eyebrow as he looked at her thighs. Spinelli got up and handed Andrea over to her parents.

"Please take care of her in the meantime, please?"

"Don't worry, Pookie! We promise she'll be fine while you two are out." Flo then carried Andy in her arms. She smiled at the sight of Arnold's precious daughter.

Later

"Engine 5, Engine 55, Engine 22, Engine 6, Engine 17, Truck 7, Truck 49, Ladder 55, Ladder 12, Ladder 8, Ladder 5, Truck 51, Medic 20, Medic 8, Aid Car 55, respond to…"

A black Ford F-150 screeched to a stop behind Station 55 while the station alarm was already going off. The front and rear of the station had one red rotating siren light. It indicated when the alarm was triggered.

"Shit! C'mon, let's go!" Arnold hurried inside with her.

"Suit up should take less than a minute, no more!"

"That's my helmet!"

"No way, it has my name on it!"

A couple of them were arguing over whose helmet they had, giving Spinelli and Arnold a chance to join.

Thirty Seconds Later

"No way you're headed without us!" Arnold replied to Gibson as the Engine started to take off.

"Up!" Scott helped Spinelli in as the Ladder unit started rolling off.

Cars moved out of the way and parked on the side of the road as the two trucks exited the station and started heading to the airport fire. The Station siren light reflected off their trucks.

"You guys thought we'd miss this five-alarm? No way we're missing something like this!" Spinelli started. "Injured or not, she's a feisty one." Arnold smirked at her.

"Boy, are we glad to see you two again!" Gerald replied from the front. "My man!" Arnold fist-bumped him.

"Let's get over there before we delay any flights!" Tommy said as the truck horn honked.

"Where's our Aid Car, I'm just now realizing." Scott asked. "They were at MedStar, they should meet us at the airport." Tommy replied from the front.

The truck sirens blared as they raced and weaved around traffic. Engine Fifty-Five was a little farther ahead than Ladder Fifty-Five.

"You okay, Spin?" Arnold noticed a bit of a saddened look on Spinelli's face. She took her headset off. "Huh? Oh, uh, yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little worried about our little Andy. Phoebe's at MedStar receiving patients left right and center, and I honestly feel skeptical leaving Andy with my parents… Maybe-"

"Hey." Arnold took his truck headset off. "I'm worried as well, but this gives them a chance to redeem themselves for all the wrong they did before, ok?" He then held her hand. "Alright. Thanks." Spinelli smiled.

Arnold smiled back as they put their headsets back on.

If you're wondering why I go out of my way to detail stuff like the siren lighting and stuff, it's 'cause I want to set an atmosphere and make it feel as real as possible. I don't want it to be simple words and actions, I also want to set the atmosphere, how it looks and feels.
