Arnold recomposed himself and approached her. "Spinelli, I always think you can't get any more beautiful, but I guess you proved me wrong." He smiled. "You look absolutely beautiful tonight, Spinelli." He kissed her forehead. "You're rather handsome yourself, Arnold." She lightly giggled.

Arnold smiled and cleared his throat. "Honey, I have a few gifts for you." He kissed her hand despite her having on her evening gloves. "Arnold, stop it! My parents are seeing me blush!" She whispered while blushing.

"Let 'em." Arnold smiled and held up the necklace. "A small symbol of my love. May I?" She smiled and nodded. Arnold smiled as he started to put the necklace around her neck.

Arnold soon showed her the earrings. "I thought these would look beautiful on you." He offered. "I'm not keen on wearing earrings but since it's date night, I suppose so. Plus, they do look beautiful." Spinelli giggled. She took the earrings and started putting them on.

Arnold then grabbed the mink coat from the couch. "A little something to keep you warm?" He smiled. Spinelli's eyes widened. "Is this… For me? A mink coat?"

"It sure is, Spinelli." He smiled. Arnold then put the coat over on her shoulders. He then gave a small kiss on her cheek.

"Mr. and Mrs. Spinelli, if it's no bother-"

"Oh, no bother at all! Go on ahead! Have fun you two!" Flo smiled at them. "Be sure to get a room if you guys can't make it back home." Ashley A smirked. They blushed.

"OH! Wait! Hang on! Just give me a sec!" Arnold remembered an important thing.

After a minute, he soon came back. "Shall we?"

"If we don't get going already, I swear…. I'd say what I want but not in front of others." Spinelli at first complained, but then gave a kiss on his cheek.

Arnold and Spinelli soon started heading to the front door.

Later

"Did I ever tell you how much I love you?" Arnold rubbed her hand. "A heap of times when we had sex." Spinelli smirked.

They soon arrived at a fancy restaurant.

"Oh, you seriously love screwing me over…" Spinelli looked at him. "You didn't get all dressed up for nothing." He chuckled. "Besides, this is an old restaurant Rhonda and I used to go to. Trust me, you'll love it!"

"I'm honestly not so certain… You know I'm obviously not one of those fancy, obnoxious girls!-"

"But I don't expect you to be. I expect you to be yourself, the Spinelli I know and love. I don't expect you to change who you are simply because of where we are, I expect you to be that same lovable Spinelli I eternally love." Arnold kissed her forehead, reassuring her. They stepped out of the truck and stood beside each other. Spinelli would keep on her new mink coat.

"So that means if we kiss with food in our mouths, we can still swirl our tongues and dig for the-"

Arnold chuckled. "Of course! Who cares what anyone thinks? Nobody's perfect, but Spinelli, in my eyes, you're more than perfect. You're gorgeous, an angel, compassionate and scrappy, you have a fighting spirit and the toughness of a grizzly bear and honey badger! I mean, what's not to love about you?" Arnold kissed Spinelli's forehead. "Now come on." Arnold smiled and linked her arm with her. She could only smile and rest her head on his shoulder.

Arnold kissed her forehead once more as they started walking in.

Later

The two were seated at a table near the window as they held hands. Spinelli had decided to take off her mink coat in the meantime.

Spinelli was about to lean over for a kiss, but she stopped and noticed several couples staring at them.

"Uh, Arnold?" She started to whisper. "I know you said not to care about what anyone thinks but uh… Why are there people staring at us?" Arnold looked around and saw she was right.

"They're probably jealous I have the best girlfriend here." Arnold rubbed her hand. "Besides, with all that makeup, no one can deny you look beautiful."

"Uh I barely have any makeup on, it's all-natural."

"The point is, you're beautiful, Spinelli. Just ignore them and come here." Arnold leaned in and pressed his lips onto hers. Their tongues soon swirled in their mouths.

After their kiss, they repeatedly kissed their lips while giggling.

Spinelli then smiled. "You know how to make me smile unlike anything or anyone else." She had a shining smile on her face. "Don't think I'm not noticing that beautiful pearly-white smile of yours." Arnold had a hand on her chin. She lightly blushed.

"Just get over here and kiss me again before I jump over this table and into your arms." She squeezed his hands. "Never change, sweetheart. Never change." Arnold leaned in for a kiss.

A Few Minutes Later

"Sheesh, this red wine is a little stronger than at Chez Paris." Spinelli said. "Yeah, I kind of forgot about that. But Spinelli, trust me when I say this… The food here is exquisitely good. Just trust me." Arnold grabbed her hand and held it.

"I trusted you many years ago, why stop now?" She chuckled. "And hey. Do you have any idea how badly I want to smear my lipstick all over your adorable face?" She smirked. "I'd love to feel your lips with that lipstick." Arnold rubbed her hands as their faces got close together.

They started nuzzling their noses together and giggling.

"Spinelli, have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?" Arnold kissed her hand. She softly giggled. "I'd love to hear more, handsome."

"The sparkle in your eyes is enough to light up a dark room, enough to shine a path of love, a path to your heart." Arnold caressed her cheek. Spinelli's eyes widened for a moment and then had a dreamy look. "That is literally the most beautiful thing I heard in my entire life. I love you. With my whole heart." She smiled.

"And what's not to say about your beautiful hair? Your luscious hair flows like our tongues every time we kiss." Arnold rubbed and squeezed her hands.

Seven Minutes Later

The waiter came over with their orders. "Two medium-rare steaks, two creamy sausage pasta with spinach, with the side of mozzarellas."

"Bon appétit." He walked away. "Oh, as if I thought I was hungry before, I'm more than starving now!" She took a whiff of the food. "Hope you won't be full after. 'Cause after this, how about strawberry cake?" Arnold smirked.

"Oh, I don't think that'll be a problem." She smirked back. "So what? We gon' dig in or let it sit there and get cold?" She took a bite of the sausage pasta.

"Aw, man! This stuff seriously tastes good!"She said. "What'd I tell ya?" Arnold chuckled as he soon took a bite.

Meanwhile…

"Don't you think you're overworking yourself, Don?" Travis asked. Donovan was doing squats with fifty-five-pound dumbbells and had gotten to around 40 squats. He grunted as he squeezed in one more rep. "… Nope! D'ah!" He finished the final rep. He was drenched in sweat.

"Remind me to buy another pack of soap just for you. You look like you just got a bucket of water dumped on you that stinks of hotdog water." Travis noticed the bad smell.

Donovan shook his head. "Will you stop complaining about my sweat? Everyone sweats when working out-"

"Donnie, you been working out for nearly three hours. You run endlessly in the mornings, and you don't even take a moment to relax and watch sports like you usually did. What gives?"

Travis had also noticed the unhealthy amount of exercise Donovan was doing.

"Hey, don't worry about it. I know what I'm doing, just gettin' my mind off the things I'm partly stressed about, but anyhow I'm good." He shrugged. "And you're not gonna leave until I-"

"Until you stop now." Travis crossed his arms. "Boy, I'm not sure who acts more like a dad, you or Warren. Sheesh." He got up and drank the rest of his water bottle. "Oh, I'd be a totally different dad compared to Warren." Travis chuckled. "Now come on."

"Fine…" The two started to walk away and to the exit of the gym.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Travis asked. "Yea- Yeah… Never better." Donovan replied, almost unsure.

"Sit, boys." Diesel and Bandit sat down. It was their feeding time, and Bob poured their food into the bowls. "Eat up, you two." He said.

Meanwhile, Flo was on the couch with the tv on, with Andy in her arms and giving her her milk bottle.

"There you go! Oh, you beautiful baby girl! Who's momma's little girl? You are, sweetie!" She kissed her forehead. Bob came over.

"You ever wonder if our little Spinelli will get pregnant by Arnold?" He sat down. "Oh, I'm sure it'll be within a matter of time. Besides, I'm sure Pookie is more than delighted with that kind of idea! The two love each other, so why not?"

"Oh, just wait until Arnold deals with the pregnancy anger, can you imagine how that would be? And remember how scrappy she was when she was a kid? I wouldn't be surprised if Arnold was around, he would've stolen her heart." Bob chuckled. "Oh, keep laughing, Chuckles, but you'll see one day when our little Pookie and Arnold get us our grandkid." Flo looked at Andy.

"Look, Andrea is precious and all, but she isn't of our blood, but that doesn't mean she isn't our grandkid anyhow. As long as we love her, she's our granddaughter." Flo gave a peck to her forehead.

Bob nodded in agreement. "Guess you're right on that." He felt his pants lightly tugged on and whining?

Bandit and Diesel were sitting there with their puppy eyes. Diesel had his bowl in his mouth, while Bandit sat there wagging his tail.

"Honey, did you not put enough food in their bowls?" Flo asked. "I put in their normal amount!" He replied. "Oh, they look so cute!" Flo had a smile on her face. "But we can't feed them too much or they'll gain weight. Just get them some treats at least." Flo suggested.

Bob stood up. "Come on, boys." He walked back to the kitchen. Diesel and Bandit followed behind.

"Mwah!" Spinelli giggled.

Arnold and Spinelli had just gotten done kissing, and Arnold stole a bit of food directly from her mouth with his tongue.

"I love you." Arnold swallowed. "I love you more, sweetheart." They kissed again.

"Still have room for dessert?" He smirked. "I think that, and maybe a whole lot more if you know what I mean." She winked and blew a kiss at him.

They leaned over once more for another passionate kiss. After their kiss, they took a bite of their sausage pasta and steak, which was nearly finished.

Ten Minutes Later

The two finished their food, Spinelli was cleaning off her mouth, but let out a small burp.

Arnold smiled at her. "Oops. Sorry." She covered her mouth. "Oh, don't be, sweetie. I already know you're being yourself. Not the first time I heard that." He smirked.

"That's at the firehouse or when we have dinner at home!" She chuckled. "But Spinelli, I'm more than happy to see you being yourself, and that you're enjoying yourself. Sure you had to adjust your table manners somewhat, but I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." Arnold squeezed her hand.

"And I'm more than happy that you took me to this place for our date." They nuzzled their noses together.

"Let's get dessert and go to the park? There's something special planned there." He smiled. "Haven't been there in a while… Sure! Why not?" Spinelli smiled. Arnold kissed her lips.

He motioned over to the waiter. "Sir!"

"Everything alright over here?" He asked. "We'd like dessert, specifically a strawberry cake. And the check as well."

"Very good, Sir." The waiter walked away.

Minutes Later

The waiter came over with their strawberry cake. "One strawberry cake?"

"Oh, yes, please! We'll share it between us." Arnold smiled. "Ah. I see. And here's the check. Enjoy." The waiter walked away and to another table. The restaurant was starting to get busier and busier as chatter grew.

Spinelli then looked at her beloved. "And why strawberry specifically?" She asked. "I thought we'd try something new." Arnold replied as he grabbed a sliced piece of strawberry and held it up to her lips. "Care to try?" He offered. Spinelli smiled and ate the strawberry, and sucked on his finger for a moment.

Arnold smiled as he held her chin and pulled her close to his face, and initiated a passionate kiss between them. They giggled as they would swirl their tongues around their mouths.

They kissed one more time before starting to eat the dessert together. They would feed each other instead of taking bites for themselves. Arnold fed Spinelli, and Spinelli would feed Arnold. All they could do was smile and forget about their career problems and everything else around them.

"Have I ever mentioned just how GOOD this cake is?" Spinelli mentioned as she swallowed. Arnold smiled. "First time I ever hear that from you." He chuckled.

The two only smiled at each other as they kept feeding one another.

At The Last Bites

Arnold had just fed Spinelli her last bite, and Spinelli enjoyed every minute of this.

She swallowed. "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever be on dates, let alone have a passionate boyfriend, taking care of a kid and two dogs, and having the time of my life! I'm so glad I met you the minute I did." Spinelli smiled and caressed Arnold's cheek. "Even if you were a little scrappy at the Academy, I'm so happy we became close friends, and to now dating. And I'm in love with you." Arnold squeezed her hand. "And I'm in love with you, Arnold." Spinelli smiled and blew a kiss.

"Come here!" They leaned over for a passionate kiss. They didn't do anything fancy with their kiss like swirling their tongues, but just simply kissed.

After two minutes, they soon separated. "Let's go?" Arnold asked. Spinelli happily nodded.

They finished their red wine and soon got up to pay the bill. The bill ended up being around eight-hundred dollars.

Soon At The Park

Spinelli and Arnold arrived at the park. Spinelli was awaiting Arnold as he got something from the backseat. She left her mink coat in the truck.

He ran up to her. "Flowers to resemble the beauty in your eyes." He offered her a bouquet of roses. "Roses? For me?" She looked shocked. Arnold smiled and offered her the roses.

Spinelli smiled and took the bouquet of roses. She then gave a long kiss on his lips and cheek.

"Thanks, Arnold. I love you." She had a shining smile. Arnold smiled as well. "I love you too, Ashley Funicello Spinelli." They nuzzled their noses together.

As their foreheads touched for the moment, the nighttime sky shining with stars, the moon looked beautiful tonight, and the atmosphere was filled with romance.

Arnold and Spinelli looked each other in the eye. They both smiled when they noticed the shining sparkles in their eyes.

They soon looked around. "Man, tonight's night sky seems pretty beautiful, doesn't it?" Arnold asked. She nodded in agreement. "It really does." She then smiled.

Arnold linked his arm with hers. "Hey. Let's go." He kissed her cheek, making her giggle as they started walking off.

"So, this is the park where you always had your romantic nights with Rhonda?" Spinelli asked. "Sure is. I remember the number of memories I have of this place. Heck, there were a good handful of times where Rhonda and I nearly did it here."

Spinelli snickered. "No wonder you're so playful in bed."

Soon, they walked to a bridge that overlooked a stream of water. They spent a minute looking around and taking in the atmosphere. Spinelli then smelled the bouquet of roses, while Arnold took a deep breath.

She looked over. "What's with you?" He then looked back at her. "Spinelli, since the very first time we had sex together, our love started growing from there, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I trusted you for so many years, you're my best friend, my closest friend. I'm not going to exaggerate here and say it was love at first sight, but it may have taken a while for me to develop a tiny crush on you. And ever since my wife's death, that love has grown to new levels, and that's why I go all out to make you happy and give you everything you deserve even if you're not the average woman, but I don't care about that. I mentioned this time and time again, I love you, Spinelli, for how unique you are! You're tough, scrappy, fearless, beautiful, angelic, and my tough Princess. And ever since we began dating, that is when all my troubles went away, and found my happiness again in you. You light me up inside in a way I thought I wouldn't feel again. Ever since I had you move in with me, you helped me so much in taking care of Andy along with Gibson half the time, well, during the times he came over. But the point is, Spinelli, I love you. I love you eternally and I wouldn't change a single thing about you, or our relationship. Although, there is ONE thing I'd love to change." Arnold shined a smile, while Spinelli had a tear run down her cheek.

Arnold gulped and got down on one knee. He pulled out a little box. "Ashley Funicello Spinelli. Will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man alive and…" He opened the box, revealing the best ring money can buy. "… And marry me?"
