Spinelli dropped the bouquet of roses and covered her mouth while her eyes widened in shock.

She then started. "D- Did I hear you right?" She asked, hopingly. Arnold continued to smile as he showed the ring. Spinelli had a bright smile on her face now.

She then tackled him into a very tight hug. "ARNOLD, YES! YES, I WILL MARRY YOU!" She squealed in excitement. They hugged with shining smiles on their faces. She cupped his face and pressed her lips against his, initiating a long passionate kiss between them.

After four minutes of kissing, they separated with shining sparkles in their eyes.

"I love you, Arnold Shortman." Spinelli smiled. "I love you more, Ashley Funicello Spinelli." He then got the ring from the box. "May I?" He held her left hand. She happily nodded.

Arnold smiled as he started to slip the ring onto her ring finger. Spinelli squealed again as she gave a tight hug. Arnold hugged her back as well.

"My love for you runs so deep that no words begin to explain just how much I really love, appreciate, and care for you." Arnold kissed Spinelli's forehead.

"Hey. Let's head home now. All I want right now is to cuddle with you. And my parents will be the first to know about our engagement." Spinelli smiled. "Oh, wait. Now that you're bringing up parents, I just realized…How will my mom react to this? We-" Spinelli put a finger on his lips.

"Hey. Forget those troubles, one thing matters here. Our engagement bound to be a marriage. Now come here." She pulled him close to her and started to kiss him.

"Let's head home and cuddle now." They nuzzled their noses together and giggled.

At Home

Arnold and Spinelli walked inside kissing each other, happier than ever as they were finally engaged.

"Pookie! Arnold! You two are finally back home! How'd it go tonight?" Flo asked. Spinelli and Arnold smirked at each other. "Take a look for yourself, mom." She held out her hand and showed off her ring finger, mainly her ring.

Flo and Bob gasped. "Oh my goodness, honey! Are you two…?"

"That's right, Mom! Arnold and I are engaged!" She kissed his lips. "Congratulations, you guys!"

"Mom? Dad? Could we visit you guys tomorrow after our shift? We plan on visiting his former in-laws and possibly his mom. Depending on how his mother feels after tomorrow's shift." Spinelli said. "You're more than welcome to visit, Pookie." Flo smiled.

"We'll leave you two now." Bob said. Bob and Flo soon started walking to the front door.

"Let's get Andy to sleep, and have a few cuddles." Arnold smiled as they rubbed their cheeks together.

Later

Andy was tucked in her crib, Bandit and Diesel had fallen asleep in the living room. Arnold was in his black shirt and boxers as he kissed Andy goodnight. He walked out of her room and slowly closed the door.

He went back to his bedroom, only to find Spinelli completely naked with her mink coat on. "Spinelli?"

She blew a kiss. "Come feel the smoothness of your future wifey. Strip this mink coat off me and kiss me." She motioned him over with a finger. Arnold smirked and took off his shirt and crawled into bed.

He slowly took off her new mink coat and slowly kissed her shoulders.

Spinelli giggled. "Now that we're practically married, I think you should know what to do." She smirked and started lying down on her back on her side of the bed. Arnold crawled over and went between her legs and to her stomach.

He started rubbing her smooth thighs. "Stop teasing already!" Spinelli exclaimed while reaching for her tube of lipstick from earlier. "Our future child will one day be here." Arnold slowly kissed Spinelli's stomach while she applied lipstick.

He started licking her stomach, making her giggle and feel ticklish.

After three minutes, Arnold gave one last kiss to her stomach, and soon made his way up to her face.

"Hey, sweetheart." He smirked. "Just kiss me dammit!" She wrapped her arms around his neck. They started to kiss passionately as they were now happily engaged.

Unfortunately, they would have to wait quite a while in order to be officially married. And with their dangerous careers as firefighters, they weren't entirely sure about getting to the day of their wedding. They would have to go through numerous challenges and put their love to the test as well.

The Next Morning…

It was a relatively quiet morning, Arnold and Spinelli hadn't told anyone else about their engagement yet since they were immediately called to lineup in the engine room. Chief Stella was there.

She slowly walked up and down, inspecting the 'insubordinate' firefighters. "Despite my efforts to handle a very complicated and bureaucratic situation. You, Station 55, took matters into your own hands." Stella was unamused with everyone. "When you break the chain of command in the military for example… We call that a mutiny. A mutiny spits in the face of that tradition, a mutiny calls for administrative investigation, and a mutiny calls for the termination of EACH and EVERY party involved!" She walked up and down inspecting them.

"It wasn't a mutiny, Chief!" Michelle exclaimed. "Blurt out like that again and I'll have you suspended for the month! Now shut your mouth!" Stella replied angrily.

"Respectfully, Chief, McShay is right." Arnold started. Stella stood in front of him, angrily. "Page 46, section 38, subsection D of the P.O.G. states that when a Captain in command is incapacitated, the duty to lead the team falls to the Senior man, I am the Senior man and I handed command to McShay. Randall was conscious, but he was not well, and anyone here can attest to that. What happened the other day was not an overthrowing of power for the sake of power, it was an action and safety protocol from the book, it was a life-saving decision, Chief!" He held his ground.

Stella was about argue with him, but the station alarm went off.

"Ladder 55, Engine 55, Aid Car 55, requested to structural fire at 4731 MidNorth." The dispatcher started. "Proceed with caution, heavy smoke on the South side. No entrapment reported yet."

Everyone started gearing up as the garage doors started opening.

"Who's our Captain?" Dean asked. "It's me." Stella replied sternly. "MOVE IT, FIFTY-FIVE! THIS AINT CLOWN SCHOOL!" She shouted.

Everyone was in uniform, the trucks were fired up and the sirens started wailing with the truck horns honking.

Later

The trucks were seen rushing through an empty street with the sirens wailing.

Scott and some of the others had their headsets off. "Don't these coordinates seem rather weird?" Scott started. "Don't you think we should ask where exactly?"

"Aye, I'm tryin' to stay off the radar, why don't you ask?" Donovan replied. "I'm trying to keep my job, hell no." Gibson replied.

Nobody wanted to ask, but Arnold was one to speak up.

"Chief, where do these coordinates land exactly?" He asked. "Getting information from dispatch, no idea what we have yet. Right now, all I have is a hotel fire." Stella replied while looking at the tablet. "A person was live streaming a stupid stunt and is now trapped on the upper floors with a fire breaking out. No idea of her location yet. Name is Stella Trix… Don't any of you laugh." She lowered her eyelids.

"Sheesh, most of us are old not knowing about that. About the social media stuff, that is." Tommy said.

"A fan called in somehow… Here's a video before cutting out." She handed over the tablet.

"So off the grid, it's very real, you guys! No green screen crap, pure action-"

KA-BOOM

CRASH

"Looks like the cameraman also got caught in the explosion." Gibson mentioned.

"No idea what floor she could've been on, I'll be with you guys tracking search patterns." Stella said.

Soon…

The truck door was closed as they arrived at the hotel. A minor fire poured on the upper floor of the building.

"Truck 55, have rescue gear ready in case you guys need to rappel down. We don't know whether one of them could be, either outside or what." Stella said as she tightened her airpack.

They all started to mask up, putting on their fireproof hoods and turning on their flashlights.

"Search and rescue, come on!" The Chief said as she strapped on her helmet. "When this is done, I swear I feel like I might be going insane with her in command." Spinelli told Arnold. He only shrugged.

They all started heading in as a hose was being carried over.

"Don't you think you're dragging this out a little?" Phoebe asked. It was Gerald who came to see her at MedStar. "I just don't know how to even approach them! Li- Like what do I do? I-"

"Gerald. Just go up to them when they're off their shift, and APOLOGIZE. Easy as that."

"Easy the way you say it." He rolled his eyes. "What if they don't want to talk to me?"

"Gerald. Drop those fears, and talk to them!"

"HILLWOOD FIRE DEPARTMENT! HELLO? HILLWOOD FIRE! ANYONE HERE?" Gibson called out. "CALL OUT! ANYONE? IS ANYONE HERE?" Donovan shouted.

"ANSWER IF YOU CAN HEAR US!"

"Dead end!" Travis and Dean ran into a dead end. "Dear diary… Today sucked!" The smoke was getting thick and visibility was worsening.

"Officer backup requested at MedStar Memorial protest." The radio said.

"Nothing here but a hot door!" Spinelli said. "We're getting nowhere, Chief! We're finding nothing here, not getting any responses! They're probably unconscious!" Arnold radioed.

"We'll have to switch up our plan then." She replied.

Back at the station, Warren was there. He was currently on his phone texting while looking over the gear there.

He was texting Dr. Bailey who he had married a while back, during Arnold and Travis' recovery time.

"You okay? Please, text me back if you can!" He wrote. Ben exhaled as he walked away.

A wheeze was heard. It was an old fat man. "Help!… Help me! I'm having a bunch of muscle cramps- OW!"

"Okay, okay! Just have a seat here!" Warren set a chair down. He helped the man sit down. "OW!" The man groaned from the cramping. "Just let me help you out. Don't worry." Ben went to get a jump bag.

Back at the hotel, more Ladder companies arrived. Stella was trying to think of something to find the lost people.

"Fifty-Five, lights off." She radioed.

"What?" Travis and Dean looked at each other in confusion. "I repeat, 55, turn off your lights. Flashlights off." Stella radioed.

"Chief, what?" Spinelli radioed. "Lieutenant, that is an order from your Captain! Turn 'em off!"

Everyone turned off their lights, leaving them in complete darkness and in the smoke.

"Uh, Chief? Are you sure about this?" Travis radioed his question.

No response.

"Will someone PLEASE ANSWER ME?!" He started to lightly freak out. "Has she lost her mind?" Dean asked.

Stella reached for her radio. "Okay. I need one torch per team aimed at the ceiling. I'll be watching the live feed of the stream." She turned on her helmet flashlight only.

"Everyone, walk forward 'till I tell you to stop." She radioed. "And watch your step. I don't need another rescue on our hands."

Everyone was walking around, trying to guide their way through the smoke.

The torch flashlights were shining at the ceiling, somewhat creating a path of light.

"Stop!" Everyone froze in their tracks. "Everybody, backtrack, three steps."

They all took three steps back. Stella was watching the livestream feed to help them.

"Right there! Right there!" Stella said. "McShay, drop your light."

Michelle turned off the flashlight.

"Come on… Where are they?…" Stella looked at the footage. "Donovan, drop your light. Shortman, drop your light."

They turned off their torches. Still nothing. "Montgomery, drop your light."

The light on the stream turned off.

"Montgomery, Smith, stay where you are. We have them, and we're coming to you." Stella's method worked.

"Gerald, you're not a kid! You need to face what you did, and apologize." Phoebe started. "Look, you faced our minor love fall-off, and I know we haven't seen each other as boyfriend and girlfriend since that day, but at least we're still friends. You can do that with your childhood best friend. Or you won't live with yourself!"

Gerald heard what she said. "I know you're right. All I need is to find them at their place soon."

"The phone is somewhere here, but where could they be?" Chief Shortman asked.

"Ok, what is your name, Sir?" Warren asked as he got an oxygen mask. "Reggie… Reggie Paulson." He replied as the oxygen mask was placed on his face. "My muscles are cramping and I don't know why but it hurts!"

Warren reached for the jump bag. "When did it start?" Warren started putting a sphygmomanometer on Reggie's arm.

"I- I don't know. I was cleaning my garage and-" He gasped for air. "I had to run here to get some sort of help!" He gasped for air. "I think I need a doctor."

"Well, I AM a doctor, and you're in good hands." Ben gave a reassuring smile. "I just need to check your vitals…" He put on a pulse oximeter. "See what we're dealing with here…"

Ben noticed the blood pressure. "… Wow… Your blood pressure is high. Did you take anything? Drugs? Prescription?" He got a stethoscope.

Ben started listening to Reggie's lungs. "I- I hear a wheezing. Do you have a history of asthma?"

"No I- No." Reggie replied. "Ok, I'm gonna prep a nebulizer for you. It'll help." Ben kneeled to the jump bag. "Tell me. Where do you feel the pain?"

Reggie struggled to talk as he kept taking deep breaths of oxygen. "Hey, don't worry, Reggie. We'll figure this out." Ben reassured. Besides, MedStar Memorial is down the street from here."

"I- I couldn't get there…" Reggie said. "What?" Ben took off his mask for the nebulizer. "A car… Ran into a crowd… And I couldn't get near there…" Ben put the nebulizer on Reggie's face. "Deep breaths here." He said.

"Several doctors were struck by a hit and run outside MedStar Memorial Hospital. Requesting any available Aid Cars."' The dispatcher said.

"Oh, dear…"

"Everyone, take a deep breath, and I don't want any of you freaking out!" Stella started. "Just breathe!"

A phone ringing was heard. It was Warren. "My God… See, my wife works at MedStar and she hasn't texted back all day." Ben said as Reggie was coughing uncontrollably.

Warren noticed Reggie started to gag. "Oh- Oh-kay…" He went to find a bucket. He ran over with a bucket. "Here- He- Here you go!" he handed the bucket to Reggie, who took off his nebulizer and got the bucket, and immediately started throwing up chunks.

Ben had a hand on his back. "Ok, just take slow deep breaths. and hopefully, I can find something for the pain and nausea." He looked in the jump bag.

"Sorry…" Reggie gasped for air. "OW!" He yelled while grabbing his abdomen. "Hang on. Hang on." Warren got up. "Let me see your abdomen."

He started to poke around lightly.

"OW!" Reggie was in pain everywhere Warren poked at. "This doesn't make any sense… Your abdomen is very tender and rigid. Usually indicates you would need surgery, but you don't have a fever and you've been moving around a lot. Makes me think you have kidney stones but- With that rigid abdomen…" He tried calling MedStar.

"… Crap! Let me call a different hospital."

"Could you stop freaking out? We might have a mutiny stamped to our files and the Chief is deciding whether we have jobs tomorrow!" Travis told Donovan. He took a deep breath. "It's- It's not the MedStar protests, I just feel rather weird." He gasped for air.

"What's going on over there?" Stella radioed. "Chief, I… I'm fine. We're searching for our victims now!"

"Yes, we are waiting for an Aid Car but they're all backed up! And he's showing signs of a surgical abdomen!" Warren replied to the doctor on the phone. "Does the patient have any other past medical history or surgery?"

"No!"

"Did you take the patient's temperature?"

Warren noticed something bad. "Hang on, please!" He looked at his arm. "This was never here when you got here! How long has it been there?" He started taking off Reggie's wristwatch. "I- I don't know."

"You said you were cleaning out your garage, right?" He asked. "Y- Yeah…"

He saw a bite mark. "Well, spiders like to nest in dark areas. And THAT is a bite mark!" He got up. "The venom must be running up your arm. I think you got bit by a black widow spider! I think we should have an antivenom here-"

CRASH

Reggie had fallen off the chair. He had fainted from the venom.

"REGGIE!" Warren ran back to him.

"Cap, we found them!" Travis radioed after Donovan shoved a shelf off them. "Copy that, we're sending in the backboards."

Blood surrounded one guy's head. They checked for their pulses. A young woman started to wake up.

"… W- What the hell?…" Donovan kneeled over. "It's alright, we're with the HFD. You were caught in an explosion but you're fine. Okay? What's your name?"

"… Stella… Stella Grusman…"

"Ok, ok. Do you remember his name?" He pointed. "Brendon?"

Travis put on a cervical collar around Brendon's neck.

"Ow! Ow! OW! My ankle!"

"Hey, don't move. We got you." Stella looked over. "Where's my phone?"

"This is going to be rather confusing…" Travis lowered his eyelids.

"Lay down. Lay down." Donovan told her. "How'd you find us?" She asked. "We used your live feed."

"It's still recording?" She wanted to look around, but Donovan stopped her.

"Are you okay, Stella?"

"Where's my phone?"

Travis took off Brendon's sock. "His ankle must be dislocated, we can't treat 'em here!"

Dean and Tommy came in with one backboard.

"Both civilians are awake and alert. One with head trauma and a dislocated ankle." Donovan radioed. "Copy that. McShay, be ready on triage." Chief Shortman said.

Grusman was seated. "Hey, guys. If you can hear me, if this is still live, this is Stella Trix, I'm currently streaming in the middle of a hotel fire! I think my toe is broken um… But we're currently being rescued by some INCREDIBLE first responders!" She gave a nervous smile.

"Cap, we're coming out!" Tommy radioed. "Copy. A stretcher will be waiting outside. Let's go. Nice and easy."

"My cameraman is currently being rescued. Stay tuned for more updates. Make sure to leave a comment and subscribe!" Grusman said.

Everyone around couldn't help but just cringe.

"REGGIE! REGGIE, CAN YOU HEAR ME?" Warren was pumping the bag valve mask on his face. Reggie gasped for air. "My hand…"

"Don't worry, they're sending over an Aid Car, we'll get you to the hospital soon." Reggie was struggling to talk.

"We can't wait any longer. We need the antivenom now! Can you walk?" Warren tried turning him, but he grunted in pain. "I can't do it, Doc!"

"Ok, ok, ok. That's ok. Listen, you're at risk of seizures or worse! So I need you to keep talking to me so that I know you're okay! Ok?" Warren ran to the cabinets.

"Ok…" Reggie was agonizing in pain.

"Talk to me, Reggie!" He started putting in the passcode to access the antivenom.

It had a passcode for safety reasons.

"Any news on MedStar?" Dean asked. "No casualties, that's all I know." He nodded.

"Alright, Montgomery, we're sending in another backboard. Strap her in."

"How long have you two known each other?" Tommy asked. "Seven years." He replied. "That's a long time. Almost like family, huh?"

"I'm actually her boyfriend." Brendon said. "Please don't tell anyone. But she's living a lie for her fans. She acts like a single and always goes on crazy adventures but… it's a lie. She kept our relationship a secret for seven years."

"And I thought my relationship was bad…" Dean rolled his eyes. "I have so many photos of us together but I can't post 'em or it'll 'ruin' her reputation! I can't even hold her hand in public! Can you live like that?"

Back with the others…

"Stella! Stop! We're here to rescue you, not some stupid device!" Travis told her. "But that's my job, it's my life!" Grusman said. Travis rolled his eyes. "I'll go get it."

"My fans must be worried about how I'm doing." She sounded selfish. Travis handed her her phone as finished strapping her head on the backboard.

She held up her phone. "Hey, guys! Currently with the first responders after a near-death experience!"

"We're ready, Chief!" Travis radioed. "This is a real-life hero, in real-time! Leave a comment if you ever had an experience like this." He shoved the phone near him.

"Put the phone away. Ready here, Chief!"

Meanwhile, Luiz was at Tomás' burned barbershop, determined to find out the cause of the fire.

The neighborhood had suffered fires as of recently, and the properties were offered to be purchased by the same company.

Theo was rather angry about the arson investigators not looking into it. He soon found a suspicious wet puddle in a closet.

"Nobody comes in and bullies my family like this!" Theo grabbed his phone to take a picture and call the arson investigators.

"Nice and easy." Chief Shortman said. "Wait, my followers need to see this real rescue." She unstrapped her head.

"WAIT, DON'T!"

"You guys gotta see where I'm being rescued from." She sat up, but a piece of wood fell and hit her head, whacking her and nearly clipping Travis.

"I hate social media people like this." Spinelli facepalmed. Arnold only nodded in agreement as he nearly threw the halligan tool.

She was laid back on the backboard.

She regained consciousness. "I- I need my phone…"

"FORGET YOUR PHONE! WE GOTTA GET OUT SOON! THIS BUILDING IS STILL ON FIRE!" Travis shouted. "But it's all I have…" She whimpered.

Tommy had came back up after leaving Brendon down with paramedics outside the hotel.

"JUST FORGET YOUR PHONE! WE DON'T HAVE HOURS FOR THIS!" Spinelli yelled. "What? She's still bitching for her phone?" Tommy noticed.

"Grusman, you're so selfish!" Tommy shouted. "You have a life ahead of you! You have a boyfriend waiting for you down outside the building!"

"Please quiet him, it's still recording!"

Travis had her phone. "I HAVE YOUR PHONE!"

"Is it still recording? How do I look? What are the comments saying?"

"YOU'RE NOT GETTING YOUR PHONE BACK UNLESS YOU LISTEN TO MY FRIENDS!"

"Lay down, and the faster you listen to us, the faster we can get out!" The Chief came over.

"All your fans probably think of you as this kind and caring person, but that's NOT who you are off camera!" Travis started. "That's NOT what I'm witnessing here! You're just being SELFISH! You are putting peoples lives in DANGER! Now be that person you are IN FRONT of the camera, and LISTEN to my team! FORGET YOUR DAMN PHONE AND RESPECT THE PEOPLES LIVES WHO ARE SAVING YOUR LIFE! NOW LAY DOWN!"

Grusman whimpered and started to lie down on the backboard.

Flaming debris crashed through the ceiling behind Travis. Time was ticking.

"Reggie? Reggie, you with me? Talk to me!" The passcode was wrong. "There's a jar of money… In my garage… Behind the table saw. It's for my wife…" Warren finally got the passcode right after multiple wrong attempts and opened the cabinet.

He reached in and looked frantically. "Keep talkin' Reggie! Keep talkin'!"

"I hid it from her… The money… I always wanted to take her on a trip to Italy… She always wanted to ride in those boats but… Things got in the way… Am I gonna die, Doc?" He had a saddened look. "Am I gonna see my wife again? I love her…"

"Look I don't know! I don't know! You just have to believe you'll live! Like I have to believe that my wife is fine- GOT IT!" He found the antivenom. "I got the antivenom! Look, I'm sorry, Reggie! I'm doing the best I can under the circumstances!" He ran over after grabbing a needle from the drawer. "This stuff is powerful! While it can save your life, it may cause serious reactions! Like make breathing worse, making your body spasm, or swell up your airway…"

Reggie's voice trembled. "I- I do- don't c-care…"

"Legally, I have to let you know…"

"Just give me the antivenom! I- it can't be much worse t- than this!…" Warren had the antivenom in the needle ready. "Here we go." He grabbed the IV and inserted the needle, injecting the antivenom hopefully in time.

"I got you…" Warren reassured him. Reggie started to calm down.

Outside The Hotel

"Grabbing an O2 tank." Michelle said. They were currently on triage.

Everyone had their masks and helmets off as they dripped with sweat.

"I can't believe you even did that…" Brendon told Grusman. "I know right?" She smiled. "That was so fun! I'm gonna check the comments." Her phone was cracked. Michelle put the oxygen mask over her face.

"Babe, they heard what that one firefighter said about us dating… And they liked it!" She checked her comments. "Baby, they love it! More than seven hundred likes!" She was sitting up. "Can you sit down…?" Michelle lowered her eyelids.

"Oh my God! Selfie!"

"I CAN'T DO THIS WITH YOU!" Brendon yelled. "Do what?" She asked while smiling. "You're not with me because you want to be with me! You're using me for your dumb fans!"

"Stella, lay back down so we can help you…" Michelle told her. "Bu- wha- wait…" She laid back down. "But you helped me with this platform!…"

"I'M TIRED OF BEING IN SECOND PLACE WITH YOU! I CHOOSE YOU OVER MYSELF IN LIFE-OR-DEATH SITUATIONS! I LITERALLY DO ANYTHING FOR YOU! I CHOOSE YOU! AND YOU ALSO CHOOSE YOURSELF! YOU DON'T CHOOSE ME, YOU CHOOSE YOUR FANS! YOU NEVER CHOOSE ME!" Brendon shouted.

Stella sat up yet again… "But-"

"STELLA!" Michelle yelled. "If I have to tell you to lay back down ONE MORE TIME, I'm gonna choose one of two things. Either sedating you or having my female coworker here knock you out with her fist!" Michelle sternly said as Spinelli smirked while cracking her knuckles.

Chief Shortman was there as well and didn't even care about what Michelle said since the other Stella was being more than annoying.

"I'm breaking up with you!" Brendon told her. Grusman whimpered.

"The Aid Cars are here, Chief." Arnold told the Chief.

Background Music: My Mind Won't Break by Wilderwater

At the barbershop, fire investigators were there and checking around. A German Shepherd was there sniffing out the area.

Grusman took a selfie of her, but Spinelli purposely whacked the phone out of her hand, and Chief Shortman didn't say anything and only smirked.

Kurt and Joe were there at the scene awaiting results from their investigators.

One of them took a picture with their helmet flashlight on, and the camera light flashed.

Brendon was loaded into the ambulance. Arnold and his mother looked at each other for a moment. They looked away.

The rear doors were closed.

The German Shepherd sniffed around the shop, looking for more clues.

He was on a leash and came across more evidence. He shoved away something with his paw.

The investigator gave a thumbs-up to Kurt. He gave a thumbs-up as well.

Theo finally felt at peace for once now that the barbershop was being investigated for any arson. He gave a small sigh of relief.

The music soon faded as it soon switched over to the inside cab of Engine 55.

The truck ride was mostly quiet for now…

Arnold then started. "Any updates on MedStar?"

"Deputy says no update." Stella replied. "Shit!…"

"It's a pretty classic case of arson, actually. So I can see why it was missed." Kurt told Theo. "But it shouldn't have been missed." Luiz replied.

"We'll track 'em down by previous fires but the charges will be slow." Kurt said. "Okay, I have the previous addresses in the area, can you check 'em out?"

"There really has to be a reason to reopen cases like this." Kurt shook his head. "All of these businesses had purchase offers from the same real estate firm. So if you can't buy them out, burn 'em out. Right?" Theo said. "Bold accusations…"

"Look, this is a personal case for me. I grew up here, and I want to make sure this gets the same amount of attention like other places."

Kurt sighed. "I'll see what we can do about investigating the other locations."

"Got it. Thanks, man."

Kurt nodded and walked away.

"But I feel fine now…" Reggie said. He was on a stretcher with paramedics. "But you should go to the hospital! For observation! Make sure you don't have a second wave of reactions!" Warren chuckled.

"Ok, but I really just wanna go home." Reggie humbly said.

"Go home AFTER you know you're in the clear! And you know what? When you get home, tell your wife you love her. Tell her about the money jar in the garage." Warren strapped the cardiac monitor onto the stretcher. "Take her on that vacation, ok? Because tomorrow is never promised. Buy those tickets and please… Get an exterminator." He smiled.

"Okay. Thanks, Doc." Reggie smiled as the paramedics took him toward the ambulance.

Warren smiled as well as the trucks were heard hissing to a stop in the engine room.

Truck doors were being closed, with everyone mostly quiet.

Arnold looked at Spinelli. "You alright?" He asked. She nodded lightly. "Yeah."

"Hey. Come here." Arnold pulled her into a hug.

Spinelli had a small smile. "Thanks."

In the equipment room, Michelle was getting out the rescue gear from earlier. Stella walked with her shirt only, like any of the others. No tie, no fancy shirt the Chief usually wears.

"McShay, what you did this morning-

"Chief, I'm so sorry-"

"It was bold." Stella said. "You stuck your neck out for the team, questioned, and pushed back in authority. I worked with so many brave people, but never did I ever see someone be as brave as you. Willing to risk their rank and reputation. You're not a follower, you're a leader. And possibly more than my son."

"Thank you, Chief." Michelle nodded. "If Station 55 stays intact, I want you to take Randall's place as Captain."

A surprising offer here! o_o Will she accept the Captain's role? Find out next chapter!
