Later At Home

Arnold had finally gotten home. He closed the door behind him as he saw Bandit run up to him.

"There's my big furball!" Arnold laughed while he crouched and toyed with him.

During the last two months,

both Diesel and Bandit grew from simple pups to big dogs. Bandit was the average-sized Corgi, while Diesel was en route to being a full-grown German Shepherd.

"Where's Spinelli?" Arnold looked around for a moment.

"There you are!" She came down the stairs.

"If it isn't the best Ashley I'll ever see." Arnold smiled and came up to Spinelli.

"The only Ashley you'll know." She smirked while wrapping her arms around him.

"Oh, I missed you so much today." Arnold started to kiss her.

After they separated, "What were you even up to? Andy and I have been waiting all day for you!" Spinelli proceeded to kiss his cheek.

Arnold rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, it's been that kind of day."

"The kind where a bunch of surprises are thrown your way or…?"

"Yep. But I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to hear about it." Arnold kissed her forehead.

"Yeah, I don't think so because all I want right now is a little time with you…" Spinelli smirked while toying with his hood.

"And I've been waiting to come home to see my beautiful little Ashley." Arnold smirked. "I'm not little since we're the same height but whatever makes you sleep at night." She shrugged.

"Well, I think you already know the answer to how I sleep." Arnold started to slowly kiss around her neck.

Spinelli giggled while trying to push him off. "Oh come on! Stop it!" She continued to giggle. "Not out here!" Arnold kept kissing her anyhow.

Arnold soon stopped. "Say, is there anything to eat?"

"Unless you're talking about food, I got something reserved for you." Spinelli clenched his jacket.

"When are you never turned on?" Arnold kissed her cheek. Spinelli only giggled for a moment before they kissed once more.

Later In Bed

It was around eleven-forty-one, Arnold was already in bed with his black t-shirt on and waiting for Spinelli, who was currently showering.

While Spinelli was in the bathroom, what was Arnold doing in the meantime?

He occasionally went to check on Andy who was already asleep. Phoebe was working at MedStar overnight, and Pep was already upstairs asleep.

Currently, he was mainly flipping through the tv channels, mostly bored out of his mind.

"Boy, I kind of wish I was showering with Spinelli right now…" Arnold looked around the bedroom. He then started reflecting back on today.

"Pregnant 13-year-old, what a load of hooey…" He muttered. Arnold then noticed a pair of boots on the carpet floor. "I wonder whose boots are those." He asked himself.

"What boots?" Spinelli walked into the bedroom with her towel wrapped around her body and hair.

Arnold pointed. Spinelli looked over while getting her panties and shirt. "Oh, those used to be mine. I had them stored away for quite a while."

"And what for?" Arnold asked while Spinelli put on her red panties. "What do mean what for? Passing it down. Duh!" She replied after dropping her towel and putting on her shirt.

Arnold got out of bed and picked up her towel. "Just let me take care of it." He proceeded to kiss her cheek.

"Good, I was too lazy to do so." She smirked.

Arnold playfully rolled his eyes as he walked out to leave the towel in the bathroom.

After a minute, he came back in and found Spinelli already in bed, mainly with a thinking expression.

"Something troubling you?" Arnold asked her while closing the door. He soon crawled into bed next to her.

"Well, I- Actually, yeah. There is. It was something I wanted to talk to you about but since that four-alarm interrupted us, I never got my chance." She replied.

Arnold wrapped an arm over her shoulder. "What is it?" He kissed her cheek.

"I think you and I should have a baby together. I mean it. Our next baby will be of both our DNA." She looked him in the eye.

Arnold stared for a minute before he pulled her face close and kissed her lips.

"Just name when you want to get pregnant and I'll go all out for you, sweetie." Arnold kissed her forehead.

Spinelli giggled. "Alright, alright. I don't mean now, we still have Andy to take care of. Maybe a year or so? All I know is that I want to have a kid with you, Arnold. I love you." She nuzzled against him.

"Aww, I love you too, Spinelli." Arnold nuzzled against her and started kissing her cheek.

Arnold then had a thought. "Hey Spinelli. I never asked you before but I wonder. Why did you become a firefighter in the first place?" Arnold asked her while cuddling her.

Spinelli paused for a minute while she was thinking back.

"Well, I remember being asked way back in 4th grade what career I'd choose. I got pressured into choosing what I want which led me to a nightmare, but the next morning, I came across Pat Patterson."

"The guy who made the Gumoflex shoes?"

"In the flesh. Anyhow, after a little business conference, he told me I didn't have to choose a future at that age, I'd grow up and eventually find a career. And I guess in high school, I decided firefighting was something I'd do mainly because I felt it was a chance to show who I was." She explained.

Arnold smiled. "And indeed you showed who you are. A scrappy, resilient, tough, and a million other amazing things!" Arnold gave a kiss on her cheek. "You're an icon to the Department. There are barely like ten female Lieutenants, let alone Battalion Chiefs which is only at 1. Spinelli, you're something special, and I have a feeling one day you'll have what it takes to be a Battalion Chief." Arnold smiled at her.

"Maybe. But, I love where I am, being a Lieutenant in the same house where my future husband is Captain." Spinelli started kissing his lips.

"I'm still the temporary Captain, but I wouldn't mind returning to Lieutenant alongside my beautiful wife." Arnold started kissing her lips.

"I'm so grateful I'm marrying someone as understandable as you." Spinelli hugged Arnold. "And I'm grateful to be marrying someone as loving as you." Arnold kissed her forehead.

"Just shut up and keep cuddling me." She said and started lying down. Arnold smiled and started to lie down.

Arnold put an arm over her to make her feel more comfortable. "Good night, my sweet, delicate, and precious angel."

Spinelli blushed. "Arnold, come on!" She whispered. Arnold only smiled as he slowly kissed Spinelli's cheek. They eventually drifted off to sleep together.

The Next Morning

The scene transitioned overhead of the city, showing the beautiful sunrise over the city. It soon transitioned overhead to a big hospital which was MedStar Memorial Hospital.

"…Aaaand… We're done here! Alright, close him up and get him to the ICU." Phoebe told her fellow surgeon while walking out after throwing away her surgical gown.

"Man, and I thought the most fun I'd have was working the night shift." She told herself while walking to a reception desk.

A female voice spoke up. "Ah! Dr. Heyerdahl! How'd it go with your surgery?" It was Teddy coming to check on her.

"A pretty lengthy surgery, to say the least, but we managed to save him. Kind of crazy to think how he survived despite going against a semi-truck." Phoebe replied while signing a few papers.

"I guess it's just a medical miracle you have." Teddy shrugged with a smile. "Anyhow, I think it's just about time for you to clock out."

Their pagers went off. They checked them and saw it was a 9-1-1. "Not so fast, Ted. I still have plenty of energy left in the tank." Phoebe smirked.

As they soon ran into the E.R., they found multiple firefighters being wheeled in.

"What the hell happened to them?" Phoebe asked.

"Apparently a drill went wrong. Building collapse." Catherine replied as she ran by them.

Phoebe only sighed as she soon stepped in, with Teddy following behind.

Soon, it went back to Arnold's mansion, specifically his bedroom. Spinelli slowly blinked her eyes open as she yawned for a moment.

She turned around. "… Morning, Arn- AH! WHAT THE?!" Spinelli freaked out when she noticed Arnold wasn't there. His side of the bed was empty.

Soon, Arnold ran into the bedroom. "Spinelli! What's wrong?" He asked, worried.

Spinelli let out a sigh of relief. "Oh my goodness, you scared the shit out of me! Where were you?" She looked at him.

Arnold walked to her side of the bed and sat with her. "Oh, Spinelli…" Arnold hugged Spinelli and kissed her cheek several times. "Sorry I gave you a scare this early in the morning, but I went to check on Andy and change her diaper. Then I checked on Diesel and Bandit, and I went to see how Pep was doing."

Spinelli only shivered. "Oh, come on, sweetie. I couldn't have scared you that much."

"YES, ARNOLD. YES!" She snapped. Arnold flinched a little. "You're the only person I feel attached to, I'm in love with you, and I'm getting married to you soon! And when I didn't see you in bed, my heart was about to jump out of my chest!" Arnold cut her off by putting a finger on her lips. "Spinelli, I- I'm sorry for scaring you like that, I probably should've told you before I got out of bed. I love you so much I wouldn't do anything to ever hurt you. I know you've been through quite a lot in your life, but I know I can make you as happy as ever. I love you, Spinelli." Arnold cupped her face, nearing her, and pressed his lips against her soft lips.

After a couple of minutes of kissing, they separated and nuzzled against each other. Arnold smiled at her. "Feeling better?"

"Just shut up and cuddle me up. I'm still tired." Spinelli replied and then kissed his cheek. Arnold only smiled while caressing her cheek. He soon got up and walked back to his side of the bed. Crawling into bed and soon cuddling with her.

Arnold started to slowly kiss her neck and around her back. "How's it feel?" Arnold started kissing around her neck.

Spinelli giggled. "Just keep going."

Arnold then smiled. "I love you." Arnold's hand then snaked down to her hand where her engagement ring was. Spinelli had a smile on her face while she felt Arnold feeling her engagement ring.

"I love you too, Arnold." She smiled.

As the two lovebirds cuddled together, Arnold would delicately play with her beautiful black hair before they drifted off to sleep again.

Spinelli was the first to sleep, while Arnold was still awake. He only smiled as he watched her for a couple of minutes. And soon, he finally fell asleep, but not before he gave one last kiss to Spinelli's neck.

Later On Through The Day

With Arnold and Spinelli having the next three days off, they decided they'd spend quality time together, along with their daughter, their pets, and their friends.

Later, through midday, while Spinelli was on the couch watching wrestling highlights while Bandit was on a different couch, Arnold soon came over with Andy.

"How's our little girl?" Spinelli looked behind her. "Beautiful as ever, how else?" Arnold smiled and softly kissed Andy's cheek. "I'm sure Andy would appreciate seeing her mommy if she isn't too busy with anything else." Arnold smirked while Andy looked at her mom.

Spinelli sighed but then smiled. "Well, I'm never too busy to see my little girl." She shrugged and soon got off the couch, and walked to her future husband and daughter.

Spinelli kissed both Arnold's cheeks, while Arnold kissed her back. A kiss on each other's lips followed after.

"I love you, Spinelli." Arnold kept kissing her while she giggled. "Come on, Arnold! Stop it!" They shared one last kiss.

Spinelli then smiled at Andy. "How's my baby girl doing today? Oh, you're so beautiful, sweetheart." She kissed her cheek.

Spinelli started to lightly tickle her. While Andy was laughing from being ticklish, Spinelli and Arnold smiled at each other, knowing one day they'll have more kids.
