Nearly three hours later, around midnight. Hours had passed since a romantic date, the only question here was… What are Arnold and Spinelli up to?

"That's it, Arnold! Keep thrusting, dammit!" Spinelli begged.

A couple of hours after their date, the two figured it was a beautiful night to have sex.

Arnold's cock slipped out. "Come on, dammit!" Spinelli scoffed while Arnold quickly shoved it back inside her.

After five minutes, Arnold felt a sudden rush in his penis.

He grimaced. "Spinelli! I- I'm about-"

"DO IT INSIDE ME! KEEP IT INSIDE!" Spinelli begged. She felt her vagina aching from Arnold thrusting, but she enjoyed every second of it.

After a minute, cum came slipping down from Spinelli's vagina, and Arnold's cock.

Spinelli gave a content sigh and finally laid on top of Arnold, who eventually pulled out and wrapped his arms around her smooth stomach.

Spinelli panted for a moment. "I don't care how long it's been since we had sex, but my goodness, Arnold…" She regained her breath. "It feels like we haven't done it in AGES."

"I love you, Spinelli…" Arnold then had a dreamy look. He started to slowly kiss Spinelli around her neck while slowly rubbing her smooth stomach.

Arnold sexily moaned while kissing her, making her giggle and soon touch his cheek.

"How does that feel?" Arnold asked, in a flirty manner.

"Keep going, you hot and dreamy football head…" Spinelli bit her lip.

Arnold briefly smiled before kissing her neck again. Soon, his right hand slowly slid up to her shoulder. Spinelli reached over for something. She then smacked Arnold's face with something.

"Thought you could use a little extra something…" She smirked.

It was her panties on Arnold's face. He took a deep sniff.

"Aaaaahh…." He gave a satisfied sigh. He soon started to kiss her shoulder lightly.

Spinelli giggled. "Just how I love it…" She sexily moaned.

While the two lovebirds intended to keep fooling around a little longer, over at MedStar…

"Incoming trauma." Phoebe had one last call before she could go home.

Catherine and her put on trauma gowns as they headed outside the emergency room entrance.

One ambulance soon drove up to them and stopped. The rear of the truck opened.

"Captain of Company 41, major trauma to the chest, intubated on scene, vitals are stable, caught in a backdraft." One paramedic informed them as they unloaded the stretcher.

Phoebe caught something in the corner of her eye. "Alright, get him to trauma one…" Another ambulance came driving around the corner, only this ambulance had its sirens off. No siren lights, only the headlights…

The Aid Car soon parked beside the other ambulance. Then, the rear of the truck opened. One firefighter hopped out, a familiar one…

"Gerald? Wh-" Phoebe briefly stuttered before another firefighter hopped out. Another came over to unload the stretcher.

"Gerald…" Phoebe tried to see who it was but only saw his boots. "W- Wh- What happened?" She tried asking, but Gerald shook his head.

"It's Miller. Joe Miller (of Company 51)." He said as the stretcher was now unloaded, revealing Miller's facial burns, the tracheal tube was still in his throat but disconnected. An ET tube holder held the tube in his throat and a neck brace was seen around his neck…

The stretcher was then wheeled slowly inside, carrying Miller's lifeless body…

Phoebe didn't know how to react but only gulped while Gerald tried to keep himself composed.

Soon, it would transition to an overhead shot of the city with the hours flying by and into the next day.

It was morning, specifically around 9 A.M., Arnold was awake caressing Spinelli's shoulder while she slept. He only smiled as he leaned over carefully and lightly kissed her smooth shoulder.

Arnold smiled as he cuddled with her, and got comfortable to get back to sleep. He kissed her shoulder once more before he closed his eyes with a smile.

What he didn't realize was that Spinelli was awake for a little while. She held in her giggle but only smiled when she felt Arnold kissing her shoulder.

Later Throughout The Day

Around three-twenty, while Spinelli was being lazy on the couch with a soda can in hand, Arnold soon came into the living room with Andy cradled in his arms while giving her her milk bottle.

"That's my beautiful baby girl." Arnold smiled and soon looked to where Spinelli was. "What are you up to?" He asked.

"I've been trying to find a movie for us to watch but I can't find anything!" She replied while scrolling through different movies on an app on their tv.

Arnold soon walked over and sat beside her. Spinelli briefly put down the remote and looked toward Andy. "Aww, isn't she precious?" She smiled.

"Our beautiful daughter we're raising…" Arnold then smirked at her. "And soon, we'll have a child with both our DNA." Arnold kissed Spinelli's cheek, causing her to blush.

"Can't you just see it? You and me having a beautiful baby together." Arnold smiled at her.

"That sounds like something I'd definitely love." Spinelli then rested her head on his shoulder. "I love you." She smiled.

Arnold smiled wholeheartedly. He lightly moved his head over to kiss her forehead. "I love you more." He warmly chuckled. "You look so beautiful like that, you know that?"

"Say that again and I'm splashing this soda down your throat. The entire can…" She blankly replied. Arnold playfully rolled his eyes while Andy kept drinking her milk.

"You still love me, you and I know that." Arnold smirked while leaning close to her.

Spinelli rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Just give me a damn kiss already." She pointed at her cheek. Arnold smiled and didn't hesitate to lean over and kiss her cheek twice.

"Hey Arnold, I never bothered to ask but uh…"

"What is it?" He asked and looked over briefly.

Spinelli hesitated for a moment. "… Well, I uh, I don't know exactly how to ask this but, how are you feeling about the Captain situation? I know the Chief previously mentioned you and Michelle are in the running for Captain so I minus well ask you what your thoughts are." She shrugged.

Arnold thought for a moment, thinking about a non-biased way to answer.

"Well, as much as I want to be at the Captain's spot, I'm honestly not sure. I do love it, but I'm so used to being Lieutenant with you." Arnold nuzzled against her while she laid back on the couch. "But the truth is, I really think it'll come down to my Mom's decision. And well, all I can say is that whoever gets it, gets it." Arnold shrugged with an unsure look. "And besides, I don't mind going back to Lieutenant. I mean, have you seen the ugly color of the Captain's helmet?" He snickered.

"Looks like a rotten orange if anything." Spinelli laughed. "But one thing I'm not understanding. If you want to be Fire Chief one day, how will you get it?" She then asked.

"I'm applying for Battalion Chief one day. Easy as that." He answered.

"Easier said than done." Spinelli replied. "Hey, when was the Firefighters Ball again?" She asked.

"Next week." Andy started tugging on her Dad's hoodie string.

"I think someone needs your attention." Spinelli smirked and turned back to the TV.

Arnold smiled. "Alright, sweetie. I'll go change you, and once we come back, I think Mommy Spinelli will have something for us to watch." He smirked at her and stood up, with Spinelli quickly yanking her head over to face him.

"You're an ass!"

"You still love me." Arnold smirked while walking away.

Spinelli wanted to retaliate but only scoffed.

After around five minutes, Arnold came back into the living room with Andy.

"Oh, come on. You're not still mad about earlier, are you?" Arnold set down Andy on the couch and looked at his fiancée.

She crossed her arms.

Arnold leaned over. "Are you even going to say anything?" He asked. Spinelli only pointed at her cheek. All Arnold could do was smile and take her hint.

Arnold briefly caressed her cheek before kissing her cheek.

"Finally you know how to take hints." Spinelli smirked. Arnold wrapped an arm over her.

"Let's just have some time for ourselves and our little girl, shall we?" Arnold kissed Spinelli's forehead several times.

Spinelli giggled. "Just keep doing that." She replied, while Arnold smiled and started to slowly kiss her forehead.

Arnold eventually moved from Spinelli's forehead, down to her smooth kissable lips. Arnold and Spinelli ended up kissing for a few minutes.

"I love you, my dear Queen." Arnold smiled.

"I love you more. You're the light of my life, the key to my heart, and the love of my life." Spinelli leaned over to kiss his cheek. She then smiled and let out a small giggle.

Arnold smiled wholeheartedly. "Well, how poetic of you considering how rough you are." Arnold proceeded to kiss her forehead.

Only after a couple of minutes went by, while Andy was now distracted by the tv with a kid's show, Arnold turned to Spinelli with a question.

"So Spinelli, with the Firefighters Ball coming up, is Ashley Q planning to come or what?"

"She asked me about it, I wasn't sure she could come but I think she can."

Arnold paused for a moment. "Hang on a sec. I just realized. Jalen might be heading to the Ball since he's a former Fire Chief…"

"Come on, Arnold! Be realistic here!"

"Look, I'm rather optimistic about it but I'm not worrying about it until I have to." Arnold looked at Spinelli while she looked at the TV. "You doing okay?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I?" She replied while Phoebe came walking down the stairs swinging her car keys.

"Where are you off to?" Arnold asked.

"I'm meeting Teddy at a Starbucks. We had a bet about our interns, and guess what?" She asked in a chirpy tone.

"What happened?" Spinelli replied with a question.

"I lost…" Phoebe lowered her eyelids and replied blankly. "So, I'll have to meet up with her and deal with her crap but uh yeah. I'll see you guys later. And hopefully, I don't come back to the floor being stained with doggy urine." Phoebe pointed out while walking to the garage.

Arnold and Spinelli looked over to see both Bandit and Diesel sitting at the backyard sliding door wagging their tails.

"I'll take 'em outside." Arnold decided to get up and walk toward them.

While Arnold took their pets to the backyard, Vic came walking into the living room.

"Spinelli, I need your help." She said.

"Vic? Wh- What are you doing here? Why are you even here?" Spinelli looked over.

"It's Steven, he called in sick for his shift today, but I'm not buying it." Vic sounded rather scared.

"And how am I gonna help with that?"

"You're someone that can get answers from anyone! Please, I need you to come with me! I'll explain everything to you along the way!"

Spinelli sighed. "Just as soon as Arnold gets back, I'll tell him and then we'll go. Ok?" Vic would only nod.

After a minute, Arnold soon walked in.

"Vic? What uh- what are you doing here?" He asked. Spinelli came up to him.

"Listen, Arnold, I need to go with her. She needs my help with something, ok?" She held his hands.

Arnold gave a confused look. "W- H-" He sighed. "Just be careful." Arnold kissed both her cheeks. "Love you."

"Arnold…" Spinelli blushed.

Later

After the two had left, a Toyota pickup was seen driving by an intersection.

"So he called in sick, big whoop." Spinelli scoffed while looking ahead.

"No but how could he call in sick already? I mean, don't you think it's suspicious enough? He isn't wanting his captaincy back, he made us dinner, and called in sick? Isn't that screaming something!?" Vic replied.

Vic started to remember back to the car crash on the highway.

"A friend of mine got into an accident at work which probably was my fault…" And then to Randall serving dinner that night… "And I will NOT be returning to Captaincy…"

Spinelli would then remember the engraved axe. The lettering.

The pickup truck soon made a left turn onto a street. Soon, the black Toyota pickup came to a stop.

"Guess this is it." Spinelli exhaled after taking the keys out of the ignition. Vic immediately hopped out and ran to the garage area.

"Randall!" She called out. "Randall!" She shouted again.

"RANDALL?!" Vic started to panic. "Oh, God…"

"You breakin' into my house?" Steven came over with a dark green jacket and a dark gray shirt. Vic turned around in shock while Spinelli walked over.

"I was NOT breaking into your house, we- uh- we just came here for a peer-to-peer check-in. You can ask her." She pointed to her friend. Spinelli would only nod with a shrug.

"A what?" He asked.

"Check-ins with F.D." Spinelli replied.

"We're just here to see if you're adjusting to day-to-day life." Vic added.

Steven bent over to pick up some trash. "I'm fine…" He threw away the trash.

"So you're fine?" Ashley asked.

"I just needed a day to organize myself. Get things in order." Steven grabbed a trash bag and tossed it next to the trash can.

"Are you moving or what are you up to?" Vic asked.

Steven saw a box of an air fryer. "I'll tell you, the station could use an air fryer. It's a good one." He looked over it.

"Just bring it by on your next shift." Spinelli suggested. Randall placed the box at the rear of his pickup.

"Yeah well, I'll bring it to a shelter. Now uh, thank you, you two ladies but I'm fine." Randall kept rummaging through his stuff.

Vic hesitated. "Uh, if you need help-"

"I don't need anything." Randall turned to her.

"Well, we still have to do this assessment. So you'll have to deal with us until we finish the check-in." Spinelli mentioned.

Randall would only look around and seem frustrated.

Back at Arnold's place, he saw Pep who recently came back.

"Where have you been?" He asked.

"Well, I finally got my stitches out of my chest after what seemed like forever… The incision is healing well and I should be back on duty next week hopefully." She smiled.

"Well, that is very great to hear. I'm genuinely happy for you. I'm so glad you're still with us." Arnold opened his arms. "So how about a hug and see what it feels like?" Pep would only smile and would hug her friend.

Back at Randall's place…

"Do you have the tools to adjust to everyday life?" Vic asked.

"I'm pretty sure I do…" Randall replied while rummaging through a box.

"How about negative thoughts about the job? Like, anything at ALL?" Spinelli asked.

"All the time! And do you guys memorize questions off a psych textbook or something?" Randall asked.

"Even if we did, it doesn't make them less effective." Spinelli shrugged while Vic noticed something sticking out of a trash bag.

"What's that?" She walked over.

"That's none of your business, Doss! Just leave it-" Vic pulled out a trophy.

"This is a 1999 West Coast bowling Champions trophy…" She then saw an entire box of trophies. "Wait a sec…" She took the box and brought it toward his truck. "There's a lot of valuables! Like how come you're hiding all of this!"

"Hey, that's pretty neat!" Spinelli soon noticed the trophies.

"If I tell you two about them will you get the hell out of my house?…" Randall asked while Spinelli handed him a trophy.

Randall looked at the trophy and said, "The Evergreen Strykers is- or it was called, the team we formed. Six-time regional champions. I was nicknamed King Pin…" Randall stared at his old trophies.

"Ok, you can't possibly tell us you're gonna throw this out! These are such accomplishments!" Spinelli looked at several trophies.

"I have no idea about that nickname but you can't throw THIS out!" Vic slapped the box. "Do you call these guys? Y- Your friends? Get that team back together?" She asked with a smile.

"Yeah, that'd be a good idea if half of them weren't dead. Half of them are already dead…" Randall started packing away the trophy. Vic's smile dropped. Randall took the box and asked, "Ok, now thank you very much now can you two get the hell out of my house?" He set aside the box.

"Well uh… We can just call the F.D.'s therapist and have her finish this assessment…" Spinelli suggested, but Randall sighed.

"Next question…" He said.

Vic and Spinelli had a bit of confidence, they were starting to make some headway.

Back over at the mansion…

"Hope this isn't weird or anything but uh…" Pep blushed furiously while Arnold was checking her incision site.

She had her shirt lifted and her sports bra lifted. Arnold motioned her to put her shirt down.

"Alright, alright, I'd say within the next shift you'll be ready, but that depends on how you feel." Arnold suggested.

"I'll give it some thought but I'm really leaning toward returning." Pep replied.

"Who took out your stitches?" Arnold asked.

"I think you should know." She chuckled and laid back on the sofa. "Phoebe." Arnold smirked.

Back with Vic and Spinelli, an old jazz record player was found among the 'trash'.

"Man, this song brings back so many memories…" Vic started to vibe along to the song. "Really?" Spinelli asked.

Randall came back and noticed his old record player was messed with. "Doss?"

"You can't give this away!"

"If you can't stay out of my stuff-"

"This is worth something!" Vic added. Randall shook his head in frustration.

"My Dad used to play this song a lot when I was a kid… I don't wanna take it but-" Randall unplugged it. "This is something my ex-wife left in our divorce for me and I told you not to touch anything…"

"Randall…" Spinelli spoke up.

"You two need to leave…" Randall took the record player off his truck.

"Randall, we haven't finished the assessment." Vic told him, but he snapped.

"YOU TWO CAME HERE TO ASK THE QUESTION! JUST ASK IT! JUST ASK IT." He shouted.

Vic only gulped, but Spinelli would be the one to ask, "Did you skip your shift… T- Because you wanted to kill yourself…?"

Not only did they stand in silence, but the look he gave pretty much answered their question.

Soon…

"Hey, Catherine! Can I help you with something?" Arnold asked the Italian woman who walked in.

"I- As much as I want to ask Donnie and I hate having to interrupt you, I have to ask." She said.

"What is it?"

"How's my Donovan doing? I mean, he hasn't talked to me much about work yet he seems a lot happier." Catherine asked.

While Arnold thought of an answer, Pep was looking through an old file.

"Well uh, as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy to say he's been doing well. He hasn't been excessively exercising, he hasn't been as isolated as before, and I'd say he's mainly a changed man." Arnold smiled.

"Oh? I- Are you sure? I- I don't know how to react!" She chuckled.

"PFFT! Arnold, come look at this!" Pep called him over. "Jalen got kicked off his high school marching band!" She started laughing away.

"Well, Catherine, if you'd like, I can call the Chief herself." Arnold suggested.

"I think I'd like that. Some proof." Catherine smiled.

Back at Randall's house…

Vic and Spinelli were standing in silence. Spinelli was texting Arnold, "Sorry I'm taking so long, I'll try and be home soon. Love you." She put a red heart at the end.

"Don't even think of ratting me out to Diane." Randall came over with another box.

"We weren't going to do that, but we could've." Spinelli started. "Randall, we all die to suicide more than in the line of duty!"

"We all see the worst tragedies of humanity and it can take a toll!" Vic added.

"Yeah well," Randall placed another box on his truck. "I got back from rehab and was cleared by first responders."

"You could be dealing with fatigue, trauma, moral injury, or PTSD!" Vic replied. "If it helps, Arnold used to deal with PTSD! Ok?" Spinelli spoke up.

Randall had a basketball slip from his hand. "So did he?" He asked.

"Before I ever started dating him, he was in the worst shape of his life! He lost his wife, he was separated from his in-laws, he was cut off from his money from his in-laws, and he was raising a baby all alone, but he found me. I was the light in his life to slowly bring him back to the amazing person he is now! You can even ask Vic how he was before, he was like Scott a few years back!" Randall sighed. "I- Before anything, Arnold was doing horribly, but now, Arnold and I are getting married! He's built back up to where he once was! He was on the brink of killing himself before we started getting together."

Randall put his basketball on his truck. "I can report you two for this."

"We made up this assessment crap because we were worried! Ok? We may not like you all that much, but you're still one of us, and that should mean something." Vic replied.

Spinelli soon slid over the basketball to her. "You play?"

"…Uh…Been a while…" Randall replied. "I tell you what. A game of horse, I win you leave." He suggested. Spinelli soon shot the ball straight into a swish.

"Beat that." She smirked while Vic threw the ball to him.

Minutes Later

Randall shot another shot, only to miss and land in Vic's hands.

"Guess I spoke too soon." He stretched his arms.

"Pass it! Pass it! Pass it!" Spinelli called for the ball. Vic threw the ball to her. Instead of shooting the ball, she threw a bounce pass to Randall.

Randall got the ball and shot a swish.

"You know, the rehab was great. Good food, hot staff, fluffy pillows…" Randall pointed out.

"Why'd you cut out early?" Vic asked.

"I couldn't stand the group talk and group therapy, nobody would shut up about the worst day of their life." He replied.

"Did you talk about your worst day?" Spinelli asked.

"How's Captain boyfriend?" He decided to ask her.

"You know what? He's great. More than great, an extraordinary husband and father." Spinelli replied with a smile slowly creeping up. She adjusted her black hoodie.

Soon, it transitioned to a red… red screen? With the lettering 'L55' on it with the Hillwood Fire Dept. logo.

It was Ladder 55. The truck door closed, revealing Donovan who was getting a water bottle.

As he drank the water, Scott came over with a cheery smile and his hands in his pockets. "Hey. Doin' ok?"

Donovan nodded as he opened the door again. "Yup!" He stored the bottle away. "I was cleared so I'm all good."

After the door closed, "This day has been weird on like… so many levels." Scott mentioned.

"Yeah well, what can be more insane than getting stuck in a running car wash?" Donovan chuckled while adjusting his coat.

"How about not stepping up for a promotion? I mean, what kind of universe is this?" Scott asked.

"Hopefully not one where I'm at the center of all the drama." Donovan shrugged and leaned against the truck.

"Or, you know, where I don't self-destruct every time I meet a new sibling? That'd be nice." Scott shrugged.

"I thought everything was good with your sister." Donovan said.

"No, no, everything's fine- She just had to ruin it by bringing up her family on me. Tonight I'm meeting her sister, apparently. So uh… We'll see how that ends." Scott soon leaned against the truck. "I'm just gonna bail."

"Gibson, just show up, ok? You show up and allow the possibility that someone will one day matter to you!" Donovan consoled. "Just let life do its thing, don't try to control it! You've been through enough, bud, this is nothing! Just be there." He chuckled. Donovan looked over at an Aid Car. "Speaking of drama…"

Two Lieutenants and a Captain were arguing with one another…

"Kind of feels good to finally not be at the center of everything." Donovan chuckled.

"You gotta admit, it's kind of funny." Scott smiled. "A little funny? Well, not as funny as Donovan VS a spinning scrubber, but it's right up there! Up on the funny list!" Scott started to slowly walk away.

"Oh, haha. Ha. Ha." Donovan gave a sarcastic laugh.

"Alright, bye!…" Scott walked away with a smile.

Later

"Looks like you guys lose. Time to go." Randall turned back to his truck.

"Oh, come on. We're not done here, we still have-"

"We had a deal." Randall put his jacket back on.

Vic would walk toward his truck and set the basketball down. "If you left the rehab center, at least tell me about your worst day. Tell us!" But Randall wouldn't say anything.

"Alright, so, during the blizzard of last Christmas, a guy was living out of his car," Vic started. "We went to check on him, but he had frozen to death, holding a picture of his wife and kid. And when we took him to the hospital, they couldn't even declare him dead because he had to thaw out…" She shook her head. "Had nightmares about it for months."

After a minute of silence, Randall spoke.

"For me, it's the quiet ones. I can handle horrific medical calls, horrific trauma and casualties. But one night, a few years back, we got called out to an apartment building on Sycamore Street. Tenants reported the smell of gas, a woman on the couch, she was dead… And… We found the bedroom door, with sheets stuffed under… It had those little race cars, the sheets… That woman was planning to take her life, but she didn't want the gas to take her kids… But you know what? The gas also took her kids… We found them in their bunk beds, all dead…" He spoke in a quiet, remorseful tone. Spinelli and Vic only listened. "I can't even drive near that road… 'Cause every time I do, it sends chills down my spine…" He exhaled. "Is this the part where I'm supposed to feel better?…"

"Well… Eventually… You have to sit with-" Vic had her sentence cut off. Randall got up in anger.

"I don't want to sit in this pain! I don't want to feel this pain! I don't want any of this! I SAID I DIDN'T WANT TO TALK, DID I? If I wanted to feel pain, I should take my ass back to rehab! I HAVE A PLAN! I FELT RELIEF- WHY ARE YOU TWO STILL HERE!? I DON'T WANT YOU HERE!"

Vic would only stand there, but Spinelli would answer. "And leave you so you can kill yourself? We're not leaving, Steven…" Almost nobody calls him by his first name anymore…

Randall waved them off, but he got beside his truck, slid down, and took a seat while starting to cry. Tears came from his eyes, all the pain throughout the years leading up to this. A breakdown.

Randall sat there, crying, and was now distraught… Pure pain was heard in his cry…

Later That Night…

Background Music: Let It Go By by Flora & Robert Koch

Hours had flown by, but Randall was making a big decision.

His garage door was closing, with Vic beside him.

"Glad you're gonna go back and finish the program…" She complimented.

"My union rep will be here any minute, you guys can go." Randall quietly said.

"I'll wait. We'll wait." Vic pulled him into a hug.

"Come on. Hug me back!" She patted his back. "This is all I got, Doss." He pretty much wasn't hugging her. While the two hugged, Spinelli was texting Arnold, while over at Silver Tigers Bar…

Scott was walking in with his sister. The two sat down together at the bar. His sister spoke up.

"Hey. Look over there. I got a surprise for you." She smiled and pointed at the corner. Scott only shook his head no. "Come on, don't be nervous!" She smiled and did a gesture. A sign language gesture in fact.

Scott knew sign language and wondered. He then saw who it was her sister was gesturing to. His foster sister. He stood up with a shocked look.

"Oh my God, Laila? What are you doing here?" He gestured. His foster sister only came over to hug her foster brother.

Over with Spinelli and Vic, a sedan drove up to Randall. His union rep.

Randall was about to get in, but he looked back at Spinelli and Vic. He would only give a very small smile to them. He then got in. The sedan soon drove off.

"I'll drive you home?" Spinelli offered Vic.

"Yeah. Uh, thanks." Vic answered with a small smile. They only smiled at one another as they headed toward the Toyota pickup.

"Hey uh, Spinelli… I um…" Spinelli turned to Vic. "I can't thank you enough for today. You really helped me out, and we managed to convince Randall to go back to rehab."

"I know I may have hated him, but after this, I guess he deserves a chance at redeeming himself." She shrugged.

After they got in, Vic slowly broke down in tears. Spinelli would only rub her back for a minute before putting the keys into the ignition.

After the truck drove away, it would immediately transition back home to Spinelli crying in Arnold's arms after explaining the truth about Steven Randall.

Arnold had a saddened look as he stroked her hair, while all Spinelli could do was cry. Arnold gave a small kiss on her forehead while she broke down in tears.

Arnold gave a comforting kiss to Spinelli's forehead and whispered, "I love you." In her ear while tightly hugging her. Arnold kissed Spinelli's forehead once more, wiping away her tears several times, and hugged her like he never wanted to let go.

I wanted to make this chapter for quite a while now and see how mental health matters. Not only do heart attacks kill firefighters, they die by suicide too. So anyhow, I hope you've enjoyed this chapter as we'll soon be coming back to the action!
