While glasses were raised for Michelle being named Captain, over with Arnold…
"Cheer up, already! Your moping around makes this seem depressing!" Spinelli told Arnold while holding his hand.
"I know, I know! I just… I just can't take my mind off the fact I wasn't named Captain. I mean…" He shook his head and sighed.
While he took a deep breath, Spinelli said, "I mean, at least you're back to Lieutenant with me." She gave a warm smile and nuzzled against him. Arnold finally smiled back.
"Well, at least that's the bright side of this. A very bright side." Arnold kissed her cheek. "Probably not the outcome I was hoping for, but it's something good nonetheless." He smiled. Arnold soon leaned over for a kiss on Spinelli's lips.
Meanwhile, with Scott, he was at the bar eating olives all alone. Soon, Mrs. Dixon came up to him.
"Hello!" She grabbed his arm. "Oop! Such strong arms. Well, of course, because you're a firefighter." She chuckled. "But listen, I was wondering if you could take a look at our ovens, they're acting a little strange." She asked.
"Well um, I'm not really an oven technician type guy." Scott replied.
"Yes, but also, something smells funny like wires burning or I don't know." She grabbed his arm. Scott decided to go with her while taking his olives. "Please leave the olives." Scott left them on a table.
Over with two other people…
"It affects me! You know that right? What? Do you want to dig into my brain about what this means?" Luiz walked a few steps away.
"Okay, this is the fifth time you insulted my training. Is this about you? Is that what this is all about?" Vic asked.
"How am I always the bad guy? You know how much being Captain would've meant to me!" Luiz replied. Vic shook her head. "So you could do what? Destroy that house will your arrogance?"
"Pfft. You're Michelle's cheerleader back there! And not once you even thought about me!" Luiz retaliated.
"YOU CAN'T HANDLE CRITICISM!" Vic snapped at him. "You can't handle saying a word to me without it becoming an argument! You were going head to head with me, you're paranoid, you're arrogant, micromanaging every detail, and being with you makes it a chore!"
"But you always walk away from EVERY conversation!" Luiz replied. Vic scoffed. "Just as bad at that as I'm bad at everything else. But the good news for you is that EVERYONE agrees with you! And you love that right? Being right about everything? Michelle as Captain?" Luiz started to walk away.
"Theo! Stop, wait!" Vic stopped him. "What is this? I- Is this a breakup?"
"Do you want it to be?" Theo replied.
"I- I don't know. But I do know I'm so over this-" Luiz had his answer.
"Fine." He walked to the bar, leaving Vic speechless and rather angry.
In the kitchen….
"Look at this! The bread is completely ruined!" The head chef said.
"It might be a circuit problem." Scott looked over.
"At least the desserts are ready. They're in the fridge." The chef threw out the burnt bread. "Take your time. Just need to rest for a bit." The pregnant woman said.
"Have you been working too much? Haven't you called your doctor?" The chef asked. "You have been working too much." One employee added.
"You know, back pain can be a sign of labor." Scott said while looking around.
"I'm NOT in labor. I know my own body when I know when I can and cannot work." The woman said. "I'll just get the desserts and go…"
Scott flinched as he saw smoke coming from below the wall. "WOAH! Actually, we all need to go! Everyone, exit the kitchen! Everybody out! GO! Come on! Let's go!" Scott started to move away stuff from the smoking wall. "Chef, you have to leave!"
"It's just a little smoke! I'm sure something just overheat-" The chef said, but a female voice interrupted.
"This isn't just a little smoke, this building was built in the 1920s, there probably aren't any fire stops so that's allowing the air to flow freely." Spinelli warned.
Scott went over to grab an axe. "What she's saying is… There could be fire in these walls!" Gibson mentioned.
"He's right, we're gonna need to hack into these walls!" Stella started. "Captain McShay, take command."
"Cap- Captain Mc- What?" Scott wasn't informed of the news.
"Alright, Spinelli, Capshaw, get all these people out. Gibson, Ferris, break into these walls! Dearborn, O'Neal, find the circuit breakers and shut off power to the ovens! Everyone else leaves! I'm calling it in! I'll get the nearest on-duty station to respond!" Michelle started to leave.
"Alright, let's go!" Stella gave the go-ahead. Scott and Ferris started to break into the walls with an axe and hammer.
"He's being ridiculous!" Vic was talking with Travis at their table.
"Every relationship has its ups and downs." He shrugged. "You're just saying that because you're not dating anyone!" Vic replied. "You want everyone to feel like you! And I feel like… like…"
"Relief?" Tommy suggested.
Vic snapped her fingers. "Exactly! Yes!" She drank her beer.
"... It's the same thing over and over again, it's like talking to a brick wall!" Luiz told Powell. "Well, you guys have been together for a while, you can talk it out!" Powell consoled.
They walked from the bar toward a table.
"Even if we do, instead of talking to each other, we talk AT each other instead of TO each other." Luiz replied and drank his beer. Powell nodded. "Yup. I know what that's like."
"It's… She doesn't support me." Luiz finished his glass of beer.
"Well, I think you deserved that Captaincy spot. More than the blonde hair guy and over Michelle." Powell smiled. Luiz finally nodded. "Thank you. Was that so hard for her to say?" They looked at each other for a moment.
Soon, it went back to the other room where Ben was headed toward Bailey. He sat down next to Larson.
"Hey! Is everything under control or will they have to shut down the party?" Bailey asked while Phoebe finally came by.
"It's small and contained. Everything should be fine." Warren adjusted in his seat.
"Did I miss anything?" Phoebe asked. "Nope, you're just in time." Ben replied. Phoebe let out a sigh of relief.
Bailey started looking around. She finally got up, took the medal from a table, and walked up to the podium.
She tapped the mic. "Can I get everyone's attention, please?" Everyone was still chatting away. "Attention!" Chatter still went on. "Will everyone stop talking? Hey! Yes!" She finally got everyone's attention.
She gave a content smile. "Um… My name is Dr. Merle Bailey and as all know, there are 'things' going on in the kitchen. And those 'things' are of none of our concern in this ballroom. Our only concern here is that the fact we are in a room of Heroes… Who fight for our community and keep us safe from whatever environmental or man-made catastrophe that might befall us, and I want to be the first to commend each and every single one of you for your sacrifice. But… Mostly, I commend Spinelli whose first name I have no idea of. Surprisingly. But to Spinelli, who is receiving a Medal of Valor tonight, for her courageous rescue of a man after FALLING THROUGH A ROOF." She looked around and found Spinelli standing next to Arnold. "There she is! Please, everyone, give her a hand!" Bailey and the entire crowd started to clap. "She is not only a dutiful servant of people and the community, but I know for a fact that she is a loving mother, a caring wife, and quite frankly ignorant of her doctor's advice." Bailey and the crowd chuckled and clapped. "And with that being said, I'll let her husband, Arnold Shortman, take over." Bailey clapped while stepping away from the mic.
Arnold cleared his throat and smiled. "Thank you so much, Merle. It really means a lot. And her comments about her being a loving mother and caring wife, she's correct, and there's a lot more to Spinelli than just that." Arnold smiled while looking at her. "She's the light of my life, she's a role model for my beautiful daughter, and she's just about everything I could've asked for. A courageous firefighter, a loving wife and mother, and a special person overall… It is an honor to present this Medal of Valor to… My light. My love… My all. My everything… My beautiful wife. Firefighter and Lieutenant Ashley Funicello Spinelli." Arnold motioned her over. The crowd erupted with clapping and cheers as Spinelli walked up to the podium.
Arnold placed the Medal of Valor around her neck and patted her shoulder, Merle also patted her shoulder. Spinelli wiped away a tear from her cheek and focused on the crowd.
"... Well, I have to admit, it was difficult for me being the recipient because, well, we ALL deserve it. People think the hardest thing we do is putting out big fires and rescuing people… But it's not that… It's the people we can't save that make accepting this award hard. But to all of my brothers and sisters in the entire Hillwood F.D. … Thank you. Thank you for your sacrifices." Spinelli finished with a smile.
The entire crowd stood up, cheering and clapping.
"Spoken like a true hero, sweetheart. Congratulations, Spinelli." Arnold kissed Spinelli's forehead and gave a warm smile. All Spinelli could do was take it in and smile despite the tears flooding her eyes.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen…
"Old wiring must've overheated." Michelle said.
"That explains the burnt bread. Fire seems to be contained." Captain Ferris said. "No more sign here."
"Well, we have to get below and find the source, confirm there's no fire down there." Michelle said.
"Copy, Captain. I just like sayin' that." Scott smiled. Michelle smiled back. "Ok uh, I'll go. Ferris, come with me. Gibson, uh, make sure there's nothing smoldering in those walls and clean up the debris." Michelle walked out with an extinguisher and flashlight.
While Scott looked around, Merle, Ben, and Phoebe were on their way out, but not before they ran into Donovan and Catherine.
"Oh, don't tell us we missed it!" Catherine said.
"I'm afraid so." Phoebe shrugged. "But we're off to Boston now. Take care, you two." Phoebe patted Catherine's shoulder as she followed behind Merle. Ben followed behind.
"Attention, everyone. I've just been told the kitchen incident is under control. Yay, firefighters!" Mrs. Dixon said at the podium. "But, there is a tiny fluke… The main course, which there won't be one… So, straight to dessert! Who doesn't love dessert for dinner?" She chuckled. "You can find it in the adjoining area where the DJ is ready for action! Enjoy!" Mrs. Dixon told the crowd.
"I already had my dessert. Maybe like 2-3 times." Donovan smirked at Catherine, who only giggled.
Down in the basement…
Michelle was making a hole in the wall with the axe while Drew held the flashlight.
"Alright, let's keep following the circuit." Drew said.
"So did you always want to be president of the union?" Michelle asked while Ferris extinguished burning wires.
"My father, his father, and his father, they're all big union guys." He extinguished more burning wires in the walls. "If you want a more active role, give me a call and I'll help you out."
"Being in a union family, you understand the importance of solidarity." Michelle kept breaking through the wall with the axe.
"Yeah well, Fifty-Five has a habit of going rogue, don't you think?" Ferris asked.
"Well… When you're leading the charge for change, it may look like that on the outside but… I'm more focused on improving our community…" She tore off a piece of the wall by hand.
Ferris extinguished more hot spots.
"This electrical circuit is the source of that fire…" Michelle pointed out the burnt and exposed wires in the wall.
Ferris took a look and knew what was next. "Alright, we need to shut the power off."
"After you." She smirked. "Ok." Ferris replied and walked ahead.
Meanwhile, back in the ballroom, music was playing as everyone was dancing with one another, well, mostly everyone. For example, Jalen and his wife, Tommy, and several others.
Arnold soon came up to Tommy. "Yo, Tom. You alright? You're usually active when it comes to these events. What gives?" Arnold asked.
Tommy shrugged. "Well, I just don't feel myself tonight. My girl left me and moved away so…" He shrugged again. "What can I do?"
Arnold patted his shoulder. "Just keep your head up, you'll be alright. Ok?" Tommy only nodded. "Thanks, man." They fist-bumped. "No problem."
Gerald soon came over. "What's goin' on?"
"Nah, nothing. What's good with you?" Tommy replied. "Man, do I have some of the best food you should try or what?" Gerald pointed toward one of the tables. "And Arnold? I believe you have your own business." Gerald smirked while pointing behind.
As Arnold turned around to find Spinelli with a smirk, Gerald and Tommy walked away.
"Why hey, Spinelli." Arnold gave a warm smile. Spinelli giggled while nuzzling against him. "Oh, nothing much. Just wanted to see how my amazing husband's doing." She soon kissed him.
"I love you, Spinelli." Arnold smiled and kissed her. "And as do I, Arnold. I love you." Spinelli smiled and kissed him.
"No one's outbid me for these hockey tickets, I"m in too deep." Scott told the pregnant waitress while eating a piece of sushi.
The pregnant waitress was breathing heavily and sweating. "Yeah well, I'm in labor…" She panted.
Scott coughed on his piece of sushi and put it down. "The hospital! I'll get you to the hospital!" He replied. "... No. No, this is too real! This has been too real since I found out I was pregnant! And If I admit I'm in labor, then that means this baby is real! And I'm NOT ready to be a mother!" She held onto Scott's arm. "OW! Ow! My life is a mess! I seriously chose the wrong guy! I wasn't careful enough and now I'm about to BURST in the middle of a ballroom!"
Scott grabbed a chair and helped her sit down. "Didn't you say you were planning for adoption? Are you still thinking of doing that?"
"I haven't even chosen a family yet, but I want him to have everything he deserves in this world! I can't raise this child on my own… And what happens if one day I see him knowing I would've been a horrible mother...? I want him to be adopted."
Scott nodded. "Ok! That's good! That's what you'll do! But right now, I need you to sit here, I'll go get my keys and I'll drive you to the hospital! Just stay here, ok?" Scott got up and ran toward the coat room.
In the coat room, as he looked for his jacket, he finally found it. He dug in the pocket and soon found his truck keys. But, when he turned around, he noticed two people making out…
"Oh. Sorry I-" When the woman turned around, it was both Powell and Luiz making out. Scott didn't know how to react except look away. As he walked out immediately, Powell dismounted Theo, and Luiz tried to stop Scott.
"No, Scott! Gibson! Wait! Scott, wait!" He tried following behind but immediately lost him.
Back down in the basement, a Truck company finally arrived and was with Ferris and Michelle.
"Alright, we'll take it from here." One of them said.
"Wait, you're station 46, is this address in your district?" Ferris asked.
"Big fire on the North side. You're lucky to have even gotten anybody at all." The firefighter replied.
Michelle heard dust falling. She took the lantern from the firefighter and looked at the dead end of the basement. She noticed more and more dust falling.
"This is bad…" Michelle started. "Anthony, Altman, we have to evacuate the ballroom upstairs! This floor is bound to collapse! We have no time for a Squad truck, we have to move, NOW!"
"Let's move it!" Ferris exclaimed. The four firefighters immediately ran off and toward the upstairs level.
In the ballroom, people were jumping to the music and having the time of their life.
At a bar, Stella was mainly looking around for her son. She was mainly upset and sad Arnold blew her off from the Captaincy news. She then felt a poke on her arm.
She looked around to see…
"Come on, I'm not here to set a fire." It was Jalen Dixon, who was arrested earlier this year. Twice. As Battalion Chief. And as Police Chief.
"And just when I thought I didn't have to see you again. What are you even doing here?! WHY are you here?!" Stella asked.
"I served my sentence and got out on good behavior. I couldn't pass up the chance of seeing my wife shine!" Jalen replied. "And watching you squirm." He walked away.
"Yeah, screw you…" Stella shook her head.
Soon, Scott finally came back into the ballroom and walked through the dancing crowd to the pregnant woman. Luiz was right behind him.
"Hey, Scott!" Travis came up to him. "You have to try this food!"
"No, I can't!" Scott replied.
"But you have to try these!" Travis said.
"Not right now! I have to get her to the hospital!" As Travis and Scott kept talking over one another, Michelle, Ferris, Anthony, and Altman ran into the ballroom.
"CLEAR THE BALLROOM! EVERYONE, BACK UP! BACK AWAY!" Michelle yelled.
CRACK
CRASH
SHATTER
CRASH
A bunch of people fell through the flooring, and that included Scott, who hit his head against the floor while grabbing onto it. Gasps and a bunch of horrified looks among them.
"THIS AREA IS UNSAFE! BACK AWAY!" Travis shouted.
"EVERYONE, STAY CALM. WE HAVE TO FIND THE SAFEST ACCESS POINT AND DETERMINE WHO FELL THROUGH THE FLOOR!" Michelle shouted as Vic and Travis were helping up Scott.
"I would've gone down if it wasn't for you…" Travis told Scott, while Vic noticed a bleed on the side of his forehead.
"No! I- She's pregnant! She fell in! I HAVE TO GET TO HER!" Scott saw her pinned under debris.
"TRAVIS, GO SEE IF THERE'S ANOTHER ACCESS POINT!" Vic shouted to Travis.
"You alright, Spin?" Arnold asked her. "I'm fine!" She shrugged it off. "Just kind of tweaked my ankle but I'm fine!"
Arnold was looking at the massive hole since he didn't see his Mom anywhere.
"Mom?!" No response. "MOM!" He kept looking around.
"OK, ACCESS TO THE BASEMENT IS CUT OFF AND I CALLED DISPATCH BUT THEY'RE DELAYED BECAUSE OF A FOUR-ALARM FIRE!" Ferris came up to Michelle. "IT'S NOT SAFE!"
"OUR PEOPLE ARE DOWN!" Michelle then saw the mic the DJ had. She took the mic. "EVERYONE, LISTEN UP! TRUCK FORTY-SIX IS OUTSIDE! GRAB TOOLS, ROPES, AND MED GEAR! WAIT STAFF, DIRECT US TO FIRST AID KITS, FLASHLIGHTS, LADDERS, ANYTHING THAT CAN HELP. SHEPHERD, SET UP TRIAGE. ALEXANDER, GRAB TABLECLOTHS AND HOSES. EVERYONE, GO! EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T NEED TO BE HERE, YOU CAN LEAVE!" Michelle put the mic down.
"Ferris, help me get these curtains as hammocks to carry people outside to triage!" Michelle ordered.
Meanwhile…
As Warren, Phoebe, and Merle were headed to the airport, Ben's phone kept going off, so he decided to check what was happening.
"Merle, the floor collapsed at the ball!"
"What?" She asked, extremely confused. "How? Why?"
"I- I don't know but the HFD 911 media is blowing up!"
An outside shot showed their Ford sedan making a sharp left turn, with a Toyota SUV following behind. It was Phoebe's SUV.
"Are you sure about this?" Ben asked.
"That's family back there." Merle put her foot down on the gas. "But you'll miss your fli-" Ben tried to speak.
"We're headed back." Bailey said.
Catherine and Donovan were checking the pregnant woman after she was pulled out of the hole.
"Her pulse is thready, multiple crush injuries, she can barely wait to get this baby out!" Donovan listed out.
"Triage is overloaded, we need to get her out of all this chaos." Michelle looked around. "The kitchen! You can use the kitchen!" Scott suggested. He motioned over Catherine. "Cathy! We need you over here!"
Catherine came over. "Her name's Mika, she's nine months pregnant, and she's been complaining about back pain!" Scott informed her.
"Ok, we need to get her to the hospital NOW!" Thankfully, one of Catherine's medical specialties was in pediatrics.
Donovan ran ahead. "I'll check if any Aid Cars have arrived!"
Back at the collapse zone, many people were digging around and pulling the rubble of many civilians. Mrs. Dixon was looking among the mess. Spinelli and Pep hauled rubble off Jalen, who was pinned under more cement.

She squealed in horror.
At the entrance, Phoebe, Bailey, and Warren came in. Michelle handed orders to them so they could help out.
Back at the collapse site, Travis was climbing down to the wreckage via hoseline.
Arnold, on the other hand, was hauling debris away, in search of his mother.
More and more debris was pulled off. Vic had found Powell under a bunch of rubble. Theo had decided to come down and help her, with Scott lending a hand.
In the kitchen, Donovan and Warren ran in with medic gloves on. Catherine was doing chest compressions to Mika while a paramedic was pumping the Ambu bag on her face.
"Lieutenant! We have a Squad truck outside!" Larson told Arnold, who had pieces of flooring in the way.
"Get me a halligan! Now!" Arnold told Larson.
"But Lieutenant-"
"GET ME A HALLIGAN! Please, Larson!" Arnold pleaded.
"Alright…" Larson went to a hoseline to climb out.
"MOM, CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" He yelled. "PEP! SPINELLI! Give me a hand!" He looked toward them and waved them over.
Over with Travis and Ferris, they were trying to lift the piece of flooring off Jalen, but time was ticking.
"This isn't gonna work!" Ferris exclaimed.
"Slide some rocks underneath, try and take the pressure off this!" Travis told Drew. "Don't worry, Dixon, we'll get you out in no time!" He saw Dixon's look slowly fading.
"Hey, did you know that Patrick made me go fishing with him, as a date?" Travis asked Jalen as Ferris grabbed a pole to slide underneath the flooring. "He told me he always threw a fit when you'd take him, acted like he didn't like it yet he craved that time together with you. He told me not to tell you, so next time you see him, I'd appreciate it if you kept it between us."
Jalen coughed and gurgled a little. "... Can you just… shut up?..." Ferris had a jump bag thrown to him. He handed it to Travis.
"This should give him some breathing room, I'll go get some pneumatic lift bags!" Ferris went to the ladder.
"Copy! I'll start an IV." Travis replied. Jalen gurgled again. "Of a- all the boys Pat brought home, you were my favorite…" Travis looked at him. "You guys would've worked out if he hadn't moved to Europe…" Jalen started crying while coughing up blood. "Please don't let me die…" He begged.
"I'm right here, Jalen…" Travis cleaned his mouth. "Dixon? Dixon! Dixon, stay with me! Come on, bud!"
"Alright, we're almost done…!" Vic, Theo, and Scott nearly had Powell out of the rubble.
"I'm in! Let's get her moving!" The paramedic had intubated Mika.
"It's been five minutes of CPR!" Warren said. "Well, you can continue as we go. And why is nobody moving?" The paramedic asked.
"If we want a chance of saving this mother's life, we have to get the baby out now." Catherine replied while putting on a trauma gown.
"Here? Now? Can't you wait?" The chef asked.
"No. Because once she starts coding, we have a five-minute window of saving both her and the baby's life." Catherine put on her mask.
Warren was cleaning off a kitchen knife. "Alright, Catherine, this is the best we'll have." He handed over the knife.
"That'll have to do." Catherine had her determined look.
And just like that, she started making the incision on Mika's belly.

As CPR continued, back at the collapse site…
Ferris and Travis were finally lifting the debris off Jalen.
In the kitchen, Catherine managed to get the baby out.
Arnold was climbing out of the hole, with a lifeless Stella…
The baby was cleaned off with a towel and had the umbilical cord cut off. CPR continued on Mika with the Ambu bag.
Arnold got on his knees, pleading to his mother to wake up as he rubbed around her throat.
Warren was rubbing the baby's chest as he hadn't cried yet. A smaller Ambu bag was also being used.
And just like that, the baby started crying, with everyone smiling.
Donovan and Catherine smiled at one another.
"OXYGEN!" Arnold yelled. "Come on, Mom! I need you! Please don't leave me! I'm so sorry I blew you off earlier! I'm so sorry, Mom! But please, wake up! I love you!"
And with a sudden gasp, Stella finally woke up.
"Mom!" Arnold smiled and pushed his nose against hers in joy. All the two could do was smile with their eyes closed.
The kitchen doors opened. Mika was finally being taken to an Aid Car along with the baby.
"... She's tachycardic but her pulse is strong. Powell! Powell, can you hear me?" Vic asked her. "She might have internal bleeding." Theo said.
"Yeah, thanks for stating the obvious." Vic replied, rather annoyed.
Scott fell backward. "Hey, you alright-" Theo tried grabbing Scott, but he retaliated. "Get your hands OFF ME!" Vic looked in surprise. "I'm fine! Just lost my balance!"
Powell woke up coughing. "Powell! Hey, hey…"
"Doss…"
"You're fine, we'll get you to the hospital!" Luiz said. He then looked at Scott, who gave him a frustrated look at him.
"We got you…"
"How's he doing?" Ferris asked Travis. Michelle and Spinelli were overlooking them.
"He lost his pulse once we pulled the piece of cement off him! I pulled him out but he hasn't moved since!" Travis was desperate to revive Jalen. "Hold CPR and check for pulse!" Travis stopped CPR. Ferris checked Jalen's eyes, but his pupils weren't reactive.
"Pupils are fixed and dilated." Ferris said as Travis continued chest compressions.
As one firefighter and Pep held back Mrs. Dixon, Spinelli climbed down. "Montgomery…"
"Come on!" Travis grunted while doing chest compressions. But Jalen was now lying lifelessly with his eyes open… "Please! PLEASE!"
Spinelli put a hand on his shoulder. "It's over…" He stood up, with Spinelli pulling him into a hug. "I'm sorry, Trav…" He then kneeled next to his corpse…
Spinelli looked up to see Arnold, who was motioning her up.
Minutes Later…
As the mess was being cleared up, police tape around the collapse zone, Michelle handed Travis a water bottle and rubbed his shoulder as she walked to Stella.
"What are you still doing here? You better take care of yourself, we're in need of a great Fire Chief around here if you happen to know one." She smirked but then smiled.
Stella had an IV in her arm. "Great work today, McShay." She smiled. Michelle walked away. Arnold kissed her cheek. "I'll be right back." Stella smiled. "Alright, sweetie."
Spinelli came up to Arnold with a smile. "Hey, sweetheart." Arnold smiled and kissed her.
Warren soon came up to Michelle. "Congratulations, Captain." They shook hands with smiles on their faces. "One helluva first shift!" Ben added.
"Thanks…" Michelle looked around. "So, uh, you off to Boston now?"
Ben shrugged. "Well, it's not looking good, but Phoebe and Merle understand." Michelle patted his shoulder and walked to Scott.
"Scott!" She smiled and drank her water. "Hey!" Scott smiled. "Never got a proper chance to celebrate but Captain looks great on you."
Michelle smiled. "Yeah, I- I know you always have my back but how are you? How are you feeling?" She rubbed his shoulder.
"No, no. I'm fine. Just uh, just a little headache, nothing I haven't been through." Gibson smiled. Michelle gave a worried look. "Ok, well, if you have any more concussions, and you-"
Scott interrupted. "Captain, I'm good. Ok? I'll get checked out. I promise." Gibson then saw Vic walking by with a jump bag. "I need to go take care of something."
"'Kay." Michelle replied.
As he exhaled, Travis walked up to him. "Hey, Scott."
"Hey."
"Listen, I just want to say, you saved my life, and I don't know how I'm ever-"
THUD
Scott had suddenly fallen backward on his back. "SCOTT! SCOTT!" All of his friends surrounded him in deep concern.
"GIBSON? GIBSON?" Vic immediately checked his pupils while Arnold put an oxygen mask on his face.
"SCOTT, DON'T DO THIS TO US! COME ON, SCOTT!" Arnold pleaded while checking his pulse.
"SCOTT, WAKE UP! COME ON, SCOTT!" Travis begged. "BUDDY, COME ON! WAKE UP!" Travis held Scott's hand and clenched it.
"GIBSON, WAKE UP, COME ON MAN! STAY WITH US, MAN! JUST HANG IN THERE!" Spinelli slapped his face several times, hoping he was still there.
A bunch of panic and confusion was in the air as Michelle spoke. "Alexander, call dispatch and get another Aid Car here! NOW!"
