It was around two in the morning, just about two hours past Watkins' farewell party at Silver Tiger's Bar. And hours away from what would be a special and unforgettable day for a certain engaged couple.

And speaking of the couple, they had just come home with their best friend and roommate, sober for the most part and in their senses. And since they weren't drunk or anything, Spinelli had an idea…

"Do us both…" Spinelli seductively smirked at Arnold while the three were in the same bedroom. Arnold raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"You heard me, Arnold. I'm not drunk, I'm fully clear of my mind, and I know what I want tonight…" Spinelli purred. "C'mon Arnold, you know you've been wanting this for a while…" Spinelli smirked at Arnold.

Arnold gulped. "Spinelli, I- I honestly wanted to do it with you, but… but you also want Pep to… to join us? I mean, are you really sure?"

Spinelli rolled her eyes. "Remember while you were with Gibson and the rest of Squad?"

"Yeah?"

"Pep and I were talking about it before I got semi-drunk." Spinelli explained. She slowly pushed Arnold onto the edge of their bed with a seductive look. "C'mon Arnold… You know you want us…" Spinelli yanked off her orange beanie, revealing her messy yet beautiful and precious hair.

Arnold looked over at Pep, who had a loving smirk. He then looked back at Spinelli.

"What do you say, Arnold? Spice things up a little or two?"

Arnold exhaled as he finally gave in to Spinelli's offer. "Alright… If you two really did talk about this… I guess why not…"

Pep and Spinelli smirked at one another before smirking at Arnold. Soon, both Pep and Spinelli took off their shirts to reveal their black sports bras.

"Arnold… this is just the beginning of a long and passionate night…" Spinelli whispered in his ear and kissed his cheek.

As Arnold took off his shirt, Spinelli decided to let Pep undo his pants…

Pulling down his black boxers, Pep grabbed Arnold's hardened cock, which was also the first time she held a penis since doing it with Arnold during the Academy.

Pep stared in amazement. "Arnold uh… It's so hard!…" Spinelli smirked at her. "You can see what I deal with on certain nights. Well? Go ahead. Don't be shy." Spinelli encouraged her.

Pep slowly peeled back his foreskin, barely revealing his tip. She briefly looked at Arnold for a moment. Spinelli put a finger on his lips. "Lay back, and let us handle it, it'll be your turn soon…"

Pep briefly let go as Spinelli made Arnold lay back. Spinelli mounted Arnold as Pep held his penis again.

Spinelli looked back for a moment. "Pep, I think you should know what you wanna do, I'll be a little busy…" Spinelli cupped Arnold's face and slowly started kissing him passionately.

As the two kissed, Pep slowly slid her tongue around Arnold's cock, as a way to tease him for what was next…

Two Hours And Fifty-Four Minutes Later

Nearly three hours passed by, and just about five in the morning too… But to Arnold, Pep, and Spinelli, it seemed like time slowed in their favor to enjoy the passionate sex the three shared.

Arnold ended up cumming six times and was on the verge of seven. He came inside Pep twice and once on her smooth ass, while he came inside Spinelli all three times.

One thing that also stood out, not only did Spinelli kiss Arnold on the lips, but Pep also got to kiss his lips. Every time Pep and Spinelli took turns kissing Arnold, it was wet and full of passion and love.

Another thing, Arnold got to finger both their vaginas, as a way to please them. Not just fingering or thrusting inside them, but also licking and sucking their vaginas to a point where they were almost dry…

As for Pep, who would she lie to? Thanks to Spinelli and Arnold, she was enjoying every second of it. From feeling Arnold's hard penis, having his cock in her vagina or ass, or kissing Arnold on the lips, or even having Arnold touch and suck her breasts, but also having Arnold suck her vagina.

And the same could be said for Spinelli. She loved every second of it, from making out with her beloved Arnold, to him licking her ass and sucking her vagina dry.

Currently, Arnold was on the verge of cumming for the seventh time, currently thrusting inside Pep's vagina as Spinelli was kissing him.

Pep bit her lip as she felt the hardness of Arnold's cock thrusting inside her. The squishy sounds coming from her vagina as she didn't want it to end.

Arnold was holding her legs while Spinelli passionately made out with him.

Spinelli briefly separated from Arnold as she noticed him grimacing. "Pep, I!… I'm about to cum!"

While Pep didn't say a word, Spinelli decided. "Do it inside her! Let her savor this moment!" Spinelli continued to kiss Arnold as he kept thrusting hard.

Pep yelled at the top of her lungs. "AH!… FUCK YES! INSIDE ME PLEASE! DO IT INSIDE ME, ARNOLD!"

About a few seconds passed by until Arnold started cumming inside Pep's wet vagina.

Pep stuck her tongue out in exhilaration knowing Arnold came inside her. Arnold ended up cumming for a few long seconds before he ended up feeling drained. Soon, he pulled out his limp cock from Pep's vagina, which ended up dripping from his semen.

Spinelli gave a long kiss on Arnold's cheek. "That was amazing, Arnold… I love you." She kissed his cheek again.

Pep soon mounted on top of Arnold with a loving look in her beautiful eyes. "Thank you so much for this Arnold…" She gave a passionate kiss on his lips. She then looked over at Spinelli, who was the one who made this lovely night happen. "Spinelli, I really don't know if I can ever thank you for this…" She smiled.

"Don't mention it. Just wanted Arnold and I to spice things up, and hey, it worked out for the three of us, no?" Spinelli shrugged as Arnold wrapped an arm over her. "But Pep, I think you can thank me by doing me a favor."

"Anything."

Spinelli smirked at Arnold and then back at Pep. "This probably isn't gonna be our first and only time doing it together… But one favor? Don't even mention a word about this to anyone…"

"My lips are sealed." Pep replied.

Spinelli yawned as she rested against Arnold. "Well, if you two want to, y'all can kiss a little longer…" She yawned again. Spinelli looked at Arnold. "Be sure to get some sleep and not spend the rest of the night making out, or I'll make sure we make your dick numb before our honeymoon!"

Arnold warmly chuckled. "I won't sweetie…" Arnold kissed her forehead. Spinelli kissed his cheek and held her kiss for a few seconds. "Goodnight, baby…"

"Goodnight, my queen…" Arnold nuzzled against her nose before she rested against him.

Arnold slowly rubbed Pep's left thigh and lightly gripped her smooth ass. Pep giggled. "I'm not done thanking you yet…"

And just like that, Pep locked lips with Arnold, her wet tongue swirling in his mouth as they passionately kissed.

They would end up making out for five to seven minutes before sharing one final kiss before drifting off to sleep together. Of course, Arnold would have an arm over both his beloved girls as they slept naked together, in the same bed too.

Four Hours Later…

Around nine in the morning, also morning for a very special day ahead. Despite it being a cloudy and chilly November day, everything felt right with the world.

Currently, while the three were sleeping in the same bed, and Phoebe was already at Med, trouble was currently smothering the HPD…

Outside A Warehouse Area…

Multiple police patrol cars, SUVs, and SWAT vans were outside along with multiple ambulances. The Police Intelligence Sergeant came out first and found a crowd of officers outside. Overlapping radio chatter went on as the front doors opened.

"HEY! MOVE IT! OUT OF THE WAY! OUT! CLEAR THE WAY! CLEAR OUT! MOVE IT! HERE, COME ON!" Tanner shouted at the police officers. They all moved out as multiple officers and SWAT units came out of the building.

Paramedics came out with a stretcher that carried a SWAT member with multiple bullet wounds. He only had an oxygen mask since there wasn't time to intubate inside the warehouse. Time was of the essence. The SWAT member was also hooked up to the cardiac monitor. Most of his upper body had smeared blood, including on the stretcher.

Immediately wheeling the stretcher toward Ambulance 162, one officer hopped inside as Tanner helped the paramedics load the stretcher inside the ambulance.

Tanner immediately went over to another Sergeant. "Hey! HEY! I need this escort clean, shut every street down! I need these streets along the way shut down for 162! GO!" Tanner ordered. The Sergeant nodded and got inside the white SUV to radio more police units and dispatch.

Tanner went on his vest radio. "This is 5725! I need all available!" Tanner started as police squad cars and SUVs sped off to clear the way for escort. "Notify Med! We have multiple GSWs to the chest and shoulder en route! He's one of our own!" Tanner told dispatch as more patrol cars and SUVs sped off.

The ambulance finally started driving off once police units went ahead. More police units would follow behind the ambulance.

Tanner's arm flopped as he looked at the ambulance and police vehicles speeding off. Sirens wailed as he looked back at the building. More white and black police squad cars and SUVs sped off behind the ambulance.

Later…

All of the police units that were at the warehouse scene were at MedStar, awaiting news on one of their SWAT units.

Phoebe finally came out, mostly shaken but calm anyhow. "Ok, so… Um…" She started as all the cops surrounded her. "I just talked with Dr. Deegan, and, uh, she said a bullet grazed an artery, and they're currently still repairing it…" Phoebe explained.

"Dr. Heyerdahl?" Tanner spoke up. She looked over. "Is Hank gonna be ok?"

Phoebe gave a doubtful look. "He lost so much blood I don't even know how he made it to the ambulance alive…"

Soon, one of Tanner's Intelligence officers came over.

"Speak to me."

"Doctors removed the bullet, one of our suspects will be fine." She explained. "Where is she?" Tanner asked.

His colleague led the way. Tanner would follow behind.

Soon, they went inside a room where a black woman was cuffed to the bed.

"Gabriela Nelson…" Tanner started. "You're being charged with attempted murder of a Hillwood Police officer."

"He got what he deserved…"

"What?" Tanner's colleague asked in shock.

"It's karma for what he did to my Vince…" Nelson answered.

"I don't know much about karma, but I know one thing… If Hank Tomlin dies, you're gonna wish you were never alive…" Tanner threatened.

"You're not gonna silence me…" Nelson spoke, but Tanner ignored her. "She's not talking to anyone. Understand? Nobody." Tanner told his colleague as they walked out.

"Nobody in or out, including you." She told the officer guarding the outside. The officer nodded and closed the room doors to stand guard.

Tanner looked at his phone. "Dammit, Crawford…"

"What is it?"

Tanner didn't answer but went on ahead.

Soon…

Arriving back at the warehouse crime scene, Tanner came up to the Superintendent.

"Dave, I'm sorry to pull you away from your man." Crawford said. "Our man." Tanner answered.

"How's he doing?" Crawford asked. "Still in surgery, no idea." Tanner replied.

"Look, Tanner, I wouldn't pull you away unless it was important, but I think we have leads on multiple things."

"Go ahead." Tanner said as they walked back inside the warehouse.

"So, evidence suggests multiple offenders were here for a while with stolen jewels and valuables. The owner of those valuables took 9 bullets, and took 'em from freakin' a machine gun…" Crawford led them to the corpse.

"Ok, but why'd you call Intelligence, with all due respect?" Tanner asked with confusion.

"The owner of the valuables also owned the car that continuously followed Company 55 of Firehouse 55. The car was identified as a 2015 Silver Toyota Camry. We found out it was registered to Damian Haliburton, since it didn't carry a license plate. Not just that. Look." Crawford pointed. "Those bullet casings. An MK-18 rifle bullet. Are you familiar?"

Tanner looked at the bullet casings. "I know you have to be in the military to get your hands on those rifles."

"That's right. We know the perpetrator, Gustav Griswald, former U.S. Military, robbed the military train last month, but only took little valuables, and only five MK-18 assault rifles and a machine gun are on the streets. We've had two homicides with these weapons."

"And where exactly are you going with this?" Tanner asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Do the math. The car that follows Company 55, little military weapons stolen from a former Military soldier, we even have this dark green jacket with blood. We haven't ID'd whose blood, but we didn't need to. An ID was dropped under this table." Crawford pointed. "No first name since it's scratched off and stained, but all we have is a last name. Detweiler."

Tanner looked at his colleague. He looked back at Crawford. "Ok… Any leads on this Detweiler?" Tanner asked.

"All we know is that they're most likely the owners of the MK-18 rifles."

"Superintendent?"

"Herrera?" Crawford looked over.

"Any leads on Griswald?" Herrera asked.

"He escaped with Detweiler." Crawford answered. "Any witnesses?" Tanner asked.

"Not much from the small number of witnesses." The Superintendent shook his head.

Tanner had a minor suspicion in mind but decided to hold off so he could look over old case files. "Crawford, so you say Griswald and Detweiler were involved in this?" He asked.

"Yeah, and these homicides look planned, not random killings." Crawford answered. "There can be hundreds of Detweilers for all we know, I want a first name soon. I'll get some of my guys and we'll see from there." Tanner replied.

"What's your next plan?" Crawford asked.

Tanner looked at the bullet casings, then at the blood-stained jacket along with the bloody ID, and then the corpse with nine bullet holes. "I'm going to review Hank's old case file and the arrest he made. I believe it contained one of these two suspects' names… I'm going to go over some old case files for answers, maybe that'll shed some light on this. Have forensics examine the jacket, not only will it give us a first name, but it should give us the answer…" Tanner answered, hoping for some answers.

Later…

A half-hour passed by since Tanner and Herrera were with the Superintendent at the warehouse crime scene.

As for others, things felt more smoothened out than for PD.

Currently in the bedroom bathroom, while Pep was deep asleep, Arnold and Spinelli currently had other plans…

Spinelli giggled as Arnold hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek and neck. "C'mon, Arnold! Quit it for a minute!" Spinelli giggled, but Arnold didn't feel like it and continued. "C'mon! I'm being serious, Arnold! Just give me a minute dammit!" She started laughing because Arnold was somewhat tickling her.

"Arnold! Quit it already!" Spinelli finally stopped laughing and managed to get Arnold to stop. All he did was continue hugging her from behind. "Geez, about time…"

Arnold briefly chuckled as he kissed her cheek. "I love you…" He rested on her shoulder. Spinelli just smiled. "I love you too…"

"Uh, Spinelli? If you don't mind me asking…" Arnold started.

"Yeah, hun?" Spinelli asked after briefly looking in the mirror.

"Why exactly are you putting makeup on now?… I mean, Spinelli, in all honesty, you look beautiful without makeup! I mean, sure, a couple of touch-ups don't exactly hurt nor take away your natural beauty, but how come right now?" Arnold asked.

Spinelli merely shrugged while applying light makeup to her cheeks. "I have to be honest, Arnold. Sure I have my natural beauty, who am I to deny that?" She gave a cocky smile. "But, I guess since today is a special day, well, why not? Besides, you don't have to worry about me going all powder puff! You know I mostly dislike makeup, but, I figured why not? For our special day today?" She ended her sentence with a smile at Arnold.

Arnold warmly smiled and kissed her cheek. "Ashley Spinelli, you're the best. I love you dearly, and I'm more than exhilarated to know we'll spend the rest of our lives together." He tightened the grip of his hug.

"Not too tight!" Spinelli giggled. Arnold loosened his grip a little. "Hey, Spinelli?" Arnold started.

"Yeah?"

"Let me ask something."

"Shoot."

"Do you miss being Truck's commanding officer? I know we used to switch back and forth each week between companies back then but that's not what I'm gettin' at. But do you miss being on Truck? I mean, I know you haven't seen the interior of that rig much." He asked.

Spinelli stood there for a moment, unsure of what to say. "Look, I'll say this. I haven't seen the interior of Truck very much, but I do know the interior of Engine has a lot of legroom. The seats are also pretty comfortable. But… I honestly miss being on the big rig. But eh, what can I do? McShay's filling that spot of commanding officer for Truck and that's that." Spinelli shrugged.

"So you DO want to be back on Truck, hm?" Arnold smirked.

"That's not what I'm saying, I…" Spinelli saw the look on his face. "You know damn well that wasn't what I meant! Besides, why would I backstab McShay in stealing her spot on Truck?"

"Spinelli, you just leave that to me. I'll talk with my Mom and see what I can do." Arnold replied. Spinelli sighed. "Arnold…"

"Just trust me, baby. Ok? Besides, don't you remember that Truck 55 is also a quint? It has its own pumper! Just trust me!" Arnold kissed her cheek. Spinelli sighed. "Why do I suddenly feel sick?… As a matter of fact, why do I feel like I'm marrying a half-idiot?"

"You still love me." Arnold kissed her cheek with a smile. Spinelli rolled her eyes with a smile.

Just about four minutes went by, Spinelli finished applying the little makeup she desired. She turned around to face Arnold. All he did was smile.

"Amazing as ever, sweetie…" Arnold nuzzled against her nose. Spinelli giggled as she nuzzled against his nose. "Today's our day…" Arnold warmly smiled.

"Indeed it is, Arnold… I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with you…" Spinelli's forehead soon touched his forehead.

As they embraced in a deep and warm hug, Spinelli had to let go.

"Arnold, I have to go meet with my parents soon. Go over my vows and stuff, you know, right?" Spinelli let go of him. Arnold kissed her forehead. "Alright. Just remember, I love you." He smiled.

Spinelli briefly kissed Arnold on the lips twice. "Love you too." She smiled after.

Before Spinelli was about to walk out, Arnold grabbed her arm. "Spinelli, wait!"

"What?" She looked at him.

"Who's your Maid of Honor?" Arnold asked.

"Oh, that's easy. Pep and Michelle." Spinelli replied. "I mean, it wasn't easy choosing, I would've also had Vic but she told me she'd be busy setting up wedding decor with the others."

Arnold smiled. "Alright, I won't delay you anymore." He kissed her cheek. Spinelli soon noticed Pep was still asleep. "Aw, shit! Dammit, Clemente! Wake the hell up!" Spinelli soon walked out of the bathroom.

Arnold looked at his Apple watch. "I think I have my own business to take care of…" He soon walked out.

Later

While Spinelli was tending to business at her parent's place with Pep, Arnold had his own business at the station, but not shift duties.

At the Firehouse, Arnold found Gerald, his childhood best friend, and brother for life.

"If it ain't the man of the hour." Gerald came up to him and dapped him.

Arnold exhaled after the handshake. "I really can't believe it, to be honest. Getting remarried, and to someone as special as Spinelli. But regardless, I'm definitely looking forward to this, and spending my life with her."

"Too bad I can't relate." Gerald shrugged. Arnold rolled his eyes. "I can't believe you haven't exactly fixed things with Phoebe." They decided to walk upstairs to the common room.

Gerald shrugged. "I mean… I don't know if she even cares about me…"

"Gerald. All I can say is, go see her. Start over with her." Arnold suggested.

"Maybe. But enough of that, today is about you, dog!" Gerald shook his shoulders while chuckling. Arnold also chuckled as they found a few of the guys.

"There he is!" Travis sat up on the couch.

"The man of the hour!"

"Alright alright…" Arnold briefly chuckled.

"So, Lieutenant, how come you wanted us to meet here, exactly?" Cruz asked. "I wanted to meet here for a few things before four o'clock today. First things first, I'm looking for a second-best man. I already have Gerald since I've known him since we were little, but I wanted to give one of you guys a chance. I was thinking of either Montgomery or Cruz." Arnold explained.

"I think Montgomery should be your best man, you two have known each other longer than we do. I mean, as much as I want to be best man, I think Montgomery should take that spot." Cruz suggested.

"Cruz, are you sure?" Arnold asked.

"I'm definitely sure, Lieutenant. Even if I'm not best man, being there will be an honor." Cruz smiled.

Arnold smiled back. "Alright, well… Travis?"

Before Travis said anything, he already had a question in mind. "Wait! Who's going to be the ring bearer? Your daughter is barely a year old, and typically it's a kid, no?"

Arnold yelped as he noticed. "Oh, shit! You're right! Uh… I don't know if Spinelli and her parents already have that taken care of…"

"Actually, I have a niece who could be the ring bearer. She's around seven." Cruz suggested.

Arnold thought for a moment. "You think you can make it happen?" He asked. "Damn right, I will." Cruz happily accepted.

"Anyone know where Warren is? I thought he'd meet us here." Arnold asked again. "He went to the bathroom a few minutes ago. Why though?" Travis answered with another question.

"I don't think Spinelli and her parents have a priest, but I think Warren can change that…" Arnold said with a hand on his chin.

"I can change what?" Warren finally came in.

"Ben Warren! Just the guy I'm looking for! I need a big favor from you, please…" Arnold walked up to him.

"Uh, sure. Anything."

Arnold deeply exhaled. "Be the priest for my wedding. All I ask is that you wear your uniform cap. Maybe even your formal blues! But that's all I ask from you, Ben."

Ben started to smile. "Really? Are you sure? Like actually?"

Arnold nodded. "I'm more than sure, it'd be an honor!"

"Alright!" They hugged. "I knew you'd come through for me, Warren. Thanks." Arnold smiled as he patted his back.

"So, Arnold, what about your tux?" Travis asked.

"I got that covered, Trav. Follow me, guys."

Meanwhile…

While Arnold was busy on his side of things, Spinelli was also busy with her side of things.

"Hold on! Keep still for a moment!" Michelle told Spinelli.

Spinelli scoffed. "Ugh… Just hurry it up!"

"… Aaand… There! What do you think?"

Spinelli looked in the mirror to look over her bride's dress. "Hmm…" Spinelli was wearing an A-Line off-the-shoulder wedding dress, which to her surprise… "I love it!" She smiled. "But, uh, McShay?"

"Yeah?" Michelle replied while thinking of how she could style Spinelli's hair while keeping her look.

"You think Arnold will like it?" Spinelli asked.

While Michelle was partially zoned out, Pep put a hand on her shoulder with a smile. "Are you kidding? Of course, he'll love it! What isn't there to love about this dress? It looks beautiful on you!" Pep smiled.

"Thanks, sis…" Spinelli warmly smiled. Spinelli finally looked over to Michelle. "McShay?"

"I think I have it now!" Michelle snapped her fingers.

Soon, Bob Spinelli knocked on the door and walked in. "Hey, Pookie!"

"Hey, Dad."

"Girls, is it alright if I talk with my daughter for a minute?" Bob asked. Pep and Michelle nodded and soon walked out.

"What's up, Dad?" Spinelli sat down on the bed. Bob sat next to his daughter and smiled.

"My little girl is getting married, I honestly never thought I'd see the day." He chuckled. "How you feelin', Pumpkin?"

Spinelli shrugged but smiled. "I actually feel great, Dad. I'm marrying someone I love deeply, and there's no changing that. I just feel thrilled overall."

"Have you gone over your vows?" Bob asked. Spinelli nodded. "Yup. Oh, and uh, Dad?"

"Yeah, Pookie?"

"You and Mom will show up, right?" Spinelli asked. Bob chuckled as he put a hand on her shoulder. "Oh, honey… You shouldn't need to ask that! We are going to show up! We wouldn't miss it for the world. And I wouldn't miss out on the chance of giving away my daughter…" He kissed her forehead.

"How's your heart?" Spinelli asked. "Better than ever, sweetheart." Bob replied with a smile.

Spinelli hugged her father. "I love you, Dad…" Bob chuckled as he hugged her back. "Aw, your mother and I love you too, sweetie. We can't wait for this afternoon…"

Bob soon let go of his daughter. "Alright, sweetheart, I'll let you get back to your things. Remember, your mother is waiting for you downstairs." Bob soon got up.

"I will. Thanks, Dad." Spinelli answered.

"Anytime, Pookie." Bob walked out of the room. Pep and Michelle came back in, except Pep had a water bottle in hand.

"Thirsty?" Pep offered. "Oh, please! I've been dying of thirst!" Spinelli replied.

As Pep sat down and handed over the bottle, Michelle thought for a minute.

"Hey, Michelle? What are you wearing for the wedding? Spinelli asked after drinking a quarter of the bottle. "Oh, don't worry about me, I know what I'll be wearing. Let's just focus on you. Uh, let's see… Have you had breakfast yet?" Michelle answered with another question.

"Uh, no."

"Then that's your next priority! But first, let's get that dress off you." Michelle replied.

Meanwhile At The Police Department…

Tanner spent the majority of the day looking over three old case files closely, with almost no answers so far, until…

"A minute, Sir?" A forensic employee walked in.

"Any name on whose blood it was on that jacket?" Tanner asked as he put the file down.

The man nodded. "We have a positive ID on a Theodore Jasper Detweiler." At that instant, it rang a bell for Tanner. "Wait a damn minute…" Tanner opened his drawer to pull out the first case file he reviewed.

Frantically looking through the pages, he found the page he wanted to find. "Theodore Detweiler, you say?" Tanner asked.

"That's right."

Tanner read over the file. It went over Detweiler's criminal history, multiple charges of assault and battery, resisting arrest, and gun charges. Theodore's latest crime wasn't just the warehouse hostage scene from this morning, but the reason why it happened. His latest crime with Vincent Pierre 'Vince' LaSalle. Vince didn't have much on his criminal history except multiple speeding offenses and carrying drugs in an automobile.

Tanner thought back to what Nelson said, and about Hank's arrest just a week ago. "Pulling strings… Detweiler must've needed a favor in exchange for Hank being held hostage…" He thought.

"Alright, it's slowly adding up… Get Herrera in here!" Tanner told the forensics employee.

After the employee walked out, Tanner was slowly inching closer and closer to the answer. "Alright, let's see… My guess is Detweiler needed a favor, so he exchanged it with Nelson for Hank as their hostage after LaSalle was arrested… My other guess is he must've been getting favors from Haliburton, which explains how he got the car…" Tanner started writing on his whiteboard about what happened. "Damian must've refused something to get him shot with rounds of a machine gun… Ok… That should explain how he got the valuables…" Tanner wrote down the stolen military weapons as the first case. He then wrote down the Toyota Camry following Engine 55. "Let's see… Detweiler is pulling favor after favor, but the question is what could it lead to? He has those MK-18 rifles, and lately no reports from the firehouse of their Engine company being followed…" At that moment, Tanner snapped his fingers at what the Superintendent said earlier. "These don't look like random killings, they're planned homicides!…" Tanner said. He drew three question marks with 'planned murder' underneath. "If Engine hasn't been followed lately, that must mean that Detweiler is up to something. With the string of homicides we just had…" Tanner raised an eyebrow. "Wait just a damn minute… I think I have something going…"

Tanner was about to erase everything and reorganize them in order, but the radio on his desk beeped three times. "All units. We have reported gunshots fired at 112 West Panela Drive. Residential. All units exercise caution." Dispatch radioed.

"That's several blocks away from Firehouse 55…!" Tanner mentioned while Herrera walked in. "You heard the callout?" She asked.

Tanner grabbed his radio. "Come on!" Tanner soon sprinted out of his office with Herrera following behind.

Once they got in the SUV. "Herrera, I think I have a lead to this case file, but I'll have to explain later!" Tanner said as he cranked the engine and turned the sirens on.

"What do you think it is, in short?" Herrera asked as she got her vest on.

Tanner shook his head with uncertainty. "I don't know, but I don't like where it's headed…" Tanner replied as he put his foot down on the accelerator.

Soon, the black Police SUV sped off as its blue and red sirens flashed while the siren wailed. More police SUVs and patrol cars would eventually follow.

By the looks of things, Tanner may have a lead toward the case, but nothing was set solid yet. But all Tanner had a lead, and somehow he felt like it just might lead them to the answer.

I know it's so teasing but I promise that we are so close to the wedding chapter! Hope to see you there!
