At Med…

Rushing into the hospital, Cruz immediately asked the nearest nurse for Maria.

"'Scuse me?" Cruz called out.

"Yes?" The nurse came up to him.

"A- A woman was airlifted in, she was in pretty bad shape! Maria Marshall?" Cruz explained. "Are you family?" The nurse asked.

"Uh, no, uh… I- Uhm, we were- are the uh-…" Cruz stuttered as Stella decided to take over. "She's a friend of our firehouse."

"She's here but I'm afraid I don't have an update. If I hear anything I'll let you know." The nurse replied. "Thank you, ma'am." Stella answered as Cruz and her walked away.

"Does Maria have any family we should notify?" Stella asked. Cruz groaned. "Oh, God…! Uh, I don't know them! I haven't met them… I'm so stupid! I didn't think about-…" Stella interrupted as Cruz got his phone. "Call her office."

Cruz nodded and walked away as Firehouse 55 finally arrived.

"Hey, Mom." Arnold started. "Anything?" He asked.

Stella shook her head. "Cruz is trying to contact her family right now, no update so far." She answered. "Chief, the highway's moving again. Took the rigs out of service." Michelle mentioned while Spinelli stood behind her.

Stella nodded once. "Alright. Let's park it here in the meantime." She suggested as everyone started sitting down.

"Been in this waiting room too many times…" Travis said as he sat down. "If we come back here one more time 'cause one of our own is down, I should minus well hang up my coat and helmet and call it." Donovan shrugged.

"And lose more great firefighters? Pfft. No way." Stella patted his shoulder.

The nurse finally came back and approached Cruz. "I just found that Ms. Marshall has an intracerebral bleed. We're rushing her into emergency surgery on the third floor."

"Ok!" Cruz immediately ran off to the stairwell.

Rushing up the stairs, Cruz reached the third floor and found the nurses with Maria.

"Maria! Maria, listen to me! You'll get through this! You'll get through this! And you come back to me 'cause you're the best thing that's happened to me! Please!" Cruz pleaded as his eyes welled up with tears.

"Sir, step back, step back please!" The nurses urged as they entered an authorized staff-only hall.

Later…

Finally walking back into the waiting room on the first floor, Stella got up and approached Cruz. "How's it looking?"

Cruz exhaled. "Not sure…"

"We can stay here as long as you'd like." Stella offered.

Cruz looked around and saw all of his friends, sitting and waiting for any update. The entire firehouse looked at him. Cruz also remembered the entire house was out of service at the moment. "Uhm… No, uh, get back to 55, get the rigs back into service." Cruz answered. "I'll call as soon as I know anything…"

Arnold stood up and walked over, noticing the breaking in his voice. "You sure, Vic?"

"Yeah. Yeah, uh… It does no good to Hillwood if the best firefighters in the city are waiting around here." Cruz sniffled.

"If you hear anything, let us know." Michelle said. Cruz nodded once.

Spinelli stood up and held her radio unit on her belt, exhaling deeply. "Truck." She said and motioned her head to the door and walked away.

Members of Truck 55 got up and soon followed behind their Officer. Arnold put a hand on Cruz's shoulder. "She'll get through this." Arnold walked away and called his team. "Squad. Come on."

"We're looking for Maria Marshall?" A man in the background asked. Cruz looked over to see who it was. Maria's parents had arrived.

"Earl and Jenine?" Cruz asked. The two looked over and saw who it was. "I- I'm Victor Cruz, a friend of your daughter-" Jenine interrupted. "We know who you are." Earl then spoke. "Our daughter talks nonstop of you."

"Please, have a seat." Cruz suggested.

Exiting the hospital to the ambulance bay, Violet and Vanessa put their hands in their pockets as Brett broke the awkward silence.

"How about we run to the nearest donut shop and pick up for the Firehouse? We haven't had breakfast since that, uh… The callout." Brett suggested. "Uh, sure. Why not?" Violet answered.

Violet and Vanessa stood next to Ambo 55. Violet exhaled. "Uh, Vanessa?"

"Mm?" Brett looked at her.

"I know this is a really bad time to ask, since Cruz is going through something, but uhm… Have you noticed how cute the Squad Lieutenant is?" Violet asked. "I'm sorry, but ugh! I can't help but think about that right now!"

Brett smiled, almost to hide her jealousy. "Oh really?"

"Of course!" Violet fanned herself momentarily despite the weather being chilly. "Phew! I don't think I've ever laid eyes on someone that cute! Uhm… Yeah, I just can't get enough of seeing him! I- I don't know what it is but… he just seems like a charmer!"

Brett nodded, still hiding her jealousy. "Mm-hm…"

Violet shrugged. "I don't know, what do you think?" She asked. Brett shrugged. "He's cute, I'll admit, but… you got a lot to consider." She answered while walking to the driver's side.

Violet raised an eyebrow curiously before getting inside the Ambo.

Later…

Back in the waiting room, a doctor came out with a promising expression.

"Good news. Maria is out of surgery and in recovery. We were able to decrease the swelling in her brain, her blood pressure and O2 stats are stabilizing well." The doctor explained.

"Can we go see her?" Jenine asked. "Just a few minutes. Come on." The doctor answered and walked ahead. Maria's parents followed behind.

At Firehouse 55

The loud rumbling engine of Truck 55 was heard, driving into the engine bay, the brakes hissed as it stopped while Squad parked reverse inside.

Engine backed inside alongside Truck and met with Squad's truck. Michelle got out while on the phone with Cruz.

"…Alright, perfect!" She hung up as the truck doors closed. "Good news everyone! Maria is out of surgery and in stable condition!" Michelle announced.

Stella walked over. "Cap? Ready to go back into service?" She asked.

"After that news? More than up for it." She answered while taking her coat off. Stella smiled. "I'll call it in."

Meanwhile…

"… Why do I feel like you're keeping something from me?" Violet asked Vanessa as they walked into a diner.

"Hi. May we get two dozen assorted donuts and a Cheese Danish?" Brett spoke and soon turned to Violet. "Travis loves Cheese Danish, but don't ask me why."

"I'm not asking that, I'm asking whether you're hiding something I don't know already." Violet answered.

Brett rolled her eyes as she saw a woman ahead of her. The woman she stared at mouthed two words, making Vanessa stiff and look down.

"What's with you?" Violet asked. "Something's wrong…" Vanessa answered as they looked over momentarily.

The man who was with the woman, made her get up and grabbed her by the arm, pulling her ahead.

"I think that woman just asked for help…" Vanessa quietly said. "You sure?" Violet raised an eyebrow.

Vanessa walked slowly to the end of the diner, where the two were headed.

There, the man slammed the car door after shouting something. Vanessa immediately turned around with Violet following.

The car already sped off once they got outside.

"That woman's in trouble!" Vanessa mentioned as she got into their Ambo. "What even is our plan?" Violet questioned as she got in.

"I don't know but keep your eye on that car!" Brett answered as she cranked the engine and immediately put it in gear.

Rushing out of the lot, Ambulance 55 turned left to follow behind the mysterious car.

Soon…

As Ambulance 55 sped down the streets behind the car, Violet questioned, "Don't we just call it in and let PD handle it?"

"Did you get the plate number?" Vanessa asked as she kept her eyes on the road. "No, but it was a dark green Toyota?" She answered, almost unsure. "Think this is a domestic situation, or human trafficking?" Violet asked.

Brett shook her head. "I don't know but she mouthed the words 'help me' but I wasn't paying attention!" She replied.

"And you're sure? 'Cause maybe we're overreacting." Violet answered. "I hope we aren't! But we have to find out, right?" Brett answered.

Up ahead, a traffic light turned from yellow to red. Vanessa put her foot down on the gas hard to beat the light.

"Brett!" Violet exclaimed in shock. She was about to reach for the siren panel, but Brett stopped her. "Don't! No lights or sirens! We don't want them to know we're following them!" Vanessa told her.

"Ok! But at least don't drive like we're in a police vehicle!" Violet answered.

Ambo 55 turned to the opposite side of the road to overtake a car in front. An oncoming car swerved to avoid them as they went back into their lane quickly.

The dark green Toyota turned right at an intersection. "There he is! He turned North! He turned North!" Violet exclaimed while pointing.

Brett applied the brakes forcefully since they couldn't slow down fast enough. The tires screeched loudly as Violet went on her radio. "Ambo 55 to Dispatch! We're traveling East on Washington towards Damion Avenue! Requesting a squad car to pick up pursuit of a green Toyota we're currently following! Possible abduction! We think the victim is in immediate danger!" Violet explained to Dispatch as Brett finally got the Ambulance turned around and continued pursuit. "I repeat, requesting a squad car to our location!"

Back at the firehouse, Arnold walked into the common room while Travis mopped the floor.

"Wasn't Ambo bringing donuts?" He asked. Travis shrugged. "They better not get a Cheese Danish. If they do… Oh, I swear…" Travis shook his head.

Gabriel then walked in. "Lieutenant. Captain's looking for you on the apparatus floor." Arnold looked over. "Thanks, Rook." Arnold walked away.

Walking to the apparatus floor, Scott was currently sitting at a desk and leaning back into the chair.

He then heard the radio going off. "Repeat! Suspect is no longer traveling on Maypole! He's rerouted to Baycott!" Violet's voice was heard.

"Chief!" Scott called Stella over as he turned the volume up. "Stand by, Ambo 55. I'll try and reroute the squad car." Stella had her radio unit in hand.

"I think something's up with our medics." Scott told her as he turned the volume up more. "What are they up to?" Stella asked. "No idea but sounds like they're trying to get a squad car on a scene." Scott answered.

Stella pulled her phone from her pocket and dialed Violet.

Back with Ambulance 55, the green Toyota was still ahead of them.

"If he realizes we're tailing him, we'll never catch up to him in this barge!" Brett mentioned. Violet pulled her phone out and answered. "Chief?"

"Talk to me, Violet. What's happening?" Stella asked. "We have a possible abduction in progress! We're in tail of the suspect!" Violet started.

"But the comms delay is killing us! By the time dispatch gets the word out to PD, they're sending a squad car to where we were five minutes ago!" Violet exclaimed.

"Hang in there, Violet, don't worry. I'm on it." Stella got on her radio. "District 7 to Dispatch. Patch me directly to HPD immediately." She sternly said.

"Copy that, District 7. Stand by." Dispatch answered.

"Violet, what's your 20?" Stella asked. "Westbound on Lake and Hoyne." Violet answered.

"I need police units to rendezvous with HFD Ambulance 55 headed Westbound on Lake and Hoyne!" Stella ordered.

"Copy that. We'll get squad cars on it, Chief." A man answered.

"Violet, you got a plate number?" Stella asked.

"Negative, Chief. We're keeping a safe distance." Violet answered.

Ahead, the traffic light turned green to yellow.

"Hang on, we'll have to run another light." Brett said as she put her foot down on the gas pedal.

The green Toyota decided to stop suddenly. Tires screeched as Brett suddenly braked. "Who stops at a yellow?!" She shouted.

"Chief, we just caught the light at Oakley! Where's PD?" Violet asked. "Violet… Nearest Squad car is a mile out." Stella answered. "Dammit…"

Brett looked ahead, trying to see if the man was suspecting of them. The man looked in his side mirror and at Vanessa. Vanessa recomposed herself to hide their suspicion.

"He sees us…"

The man turned around from his car and saw their Ambulance two car lengths back.

Members at the firehouse anxiously awaited the next move.

The Toyota suddenly sped off into moving traffic.

"He made our tail! He's on the move, Chief!" Violet exclaimed.

Vanessa enabled the sirens to pursue the Toyota. Switching lanes to follow, a truck suddenly got in their way. Brett violently applied the brakes to avoid hitting it.

"NO!" Brett smacked the wheel. "We lost him, Chief. It's over…" Violet told her.

Later Back at The Firehouse…

In the Chief's office, Vanessa and Violet were talking with a Detective while Stella was leaning on her desk.

"If he wasn't doing anything wrong, why would he bolt once he noticed us?" Violet asked with an attitude.

"Ok, that's a little shifty. But I can't launch a manhunt over a guy running a red light." The Detective answered.

"Daniel, I vouch for my medics. If they both have a bad feeling over a situation, there's something to it." Stella mentioned. Violet lightly nodded.

Despite it being Violet's first shift, Stella trusted her.

"I don't doubt it, Chief. But I'll need more to go than a vague description of a John and Jane Doe with an unidentified green Toyota." Daniel explained.

"Camry." Brett mentioned. "A 2010 green Toyota Camry with an unpainted left front fender…" Violet explained.

Daniel then handed a card to Vanessa. "Give me a call once you think of anything else." He walked out of the office.

"Why do I get the feeling this is the last time we'll hear from him?" Violet questioned. "If only we had a plate number…" Brett sighed.

"Maybe that's on me, I should've- Ugh, it just happened so fast!" Violet crossed her arms. "Should we head back to the diner?" Brett asked.

"Yes." Violet immediately answered. "For what?" Stella asked. "To see if anyone saw anything that can be helpful." Vanessa replied.

"Isn't that his job?" Stella questioned.

"Chief, he's not gonna follow up. He didn't even write anything down!" Violet mentioned. "Chief… If something happens to her, I will never forgive myself… Please." Brett pleaded.

"I'll remind you two are on duty. But, if you wanna burn a little fuel looking for leads, be my guest. Just be safe, and stay in my District." Stella told them.

"You got it, Chief." Brett answered as she and Violet walked out.

In the engine bay, Arnold and Michelle were sitting on the bumper of their trucks, mostly hanging out for a moment.

"… I don't know." Arnold shrugged. "Everything ok with you and Spinelli?" Michelle asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't it be? Well, apart from our honeymoon being set back and putting our job first…" Arnold explained. Michelle looked around momentarily and then back at him. "They say it takes a special breed to be a firefighter… The more I think about it, I somehow feel like that breed can't find happiness." Arnold shrugged.

"Arnold, please. What about Donovan and Catherine? Or… Warren and Merle? You and Spinelli? I mean, I've had my share of love, but those relationships failed… All I can say is, it takes work but… It can be done. I don't exactly need love to be happy myself, all I care about is just being here with the house I love, and with the family I love most." Michelle shrugged as Arnold looked at her. "Maybe I'm partially rambling on but, those couples I mentioned… Prove how those breeds CAN find happiness. Just a thought." Michelle looked at him.

Arnold nodded lightly and smiled. The chill wind breeze blew in as they sat on the bumper of their trucks, soaking in another deep talk with one another.

"So does that exclude you? You can't find happiness?" Arnold chuckled. "Very funny… You're lucky I don't get up and smack you right now." Michelle playfully rolled her eyes.

They both softly chuckled. After a brief moment of silence, Michelle exhaled. "You're my person. You know that? And I don't mean it romantically. Almost like… how do I put it? …." Michelle wondered.

"The one person you can confide in? Be yourself? And overall just be able to have heart-to-hearts like this? Then yeah. You're my person too." Arnold smiled warmly, looking off into the distance while leaning against the grill of the Squad truck.

Michelle smiled and lightly nodded with contentment.

Later back inside, Travis came back into the common room and found a particular someone in his couch spot…

It was the new firehouse pup, Tuesday. Tuesday was resting and looked up once Travis came in. Tuesday looked beside her, almost as if she was trolling him and saying 'You can sit there'.

Travis ended up sitting at the end of the couch. "This is temporary…" Tuesday whined and rested her head on the other end of the couch along with her left paw.

Arnold walked in after being with Michelle on the apparatus floor. "Violet. Heard you had a crazy start to your shift this morning." He mentioned.

Violet sighed after she took a sip of coffee. "Not the way I thought my shift would start… Highway pileup, and then this? It all seems unreal to me… All of it keeps replaying in my head. You ever wish you could rewind the clock and adjust your reaction to something after finally having time to process it?"

Arnold shrugged. "At least once every day maybe." Violet nodded. "So what happened exactly?" Arnold asked.

Violet was about to speak, but Spinelli came over with a file in hand. "Hey, Arnold. Quit lazing around and give me a hand with this file."

"Vi?" Arnold looked at Violet. "Brett's waiting for me anyhow, I'll fill you in later." Violet set her coffee mug aside and walked away.

Spinelli raised an eyebrow and closed her file. "Fill you in on what? Random gossip?"

Arnold shook his head. "No. About what happened earlier. Didn't you hear it over the radio?" Spinelli shrugged and shook her head. "No?"

"How's that possible? You literally have your radio on you!" Arnold mentioned. "Uh, not right now I don't." Arnold raised an eyebrow. "What? I was busy reviewing this file! Now shut up, follow me, and help me out with this file!"

Arnold shrugged. "Whatever, honey." He smiled and followed behind her. Spinelli started explaining as they walked out of the common room.

Meanwhile in the Chief's office, Pep got up from her seat and sighed, putting her hands on her hips after spotting McCaffery and Suarez. McCaffery with… a traffic cone in hand?

"… It's how we find the special ones in a Firehouse." Stella mentioned. Pep nodded once. "This house is FULL of very… special people… I have to think all three companies have their mix of special ones…"

Stella snorted, containing her laughter. But she suddenly raised an eyebrow at what Pep meant. Stella then looked over.

Pep walked out of her office and McCaffery followed with the traffic cone up to his ear. "You know I can see and hear you assheads…" She lowered her eyelids.

"Told you she'd notice." Suarez mentioned."

"Huh? What'd you say, Auntie? Aye?" McCaffery jokingly smiled as he joked. "Shut up! I'm not even that old! I'm in my early 30s!" Pep exclaimed.

Back At The Diner…

Walking back into the diner, the two medics went up to the same lady that attended them.

"Hey, do you remember us?" Brett asked. "Of course! Did you come back for the donuts?" The lady asked.

"Actually, we came back to ask about the couple from earlier." Brett started. "They were sitting in that booth, over there." Violet pointed.

"Yeah, there was a cop that came asking the same thing a while ago." The lady answered. Violet and Nessa looked at one another momentarily. "So I guess he did follow up." Brett mentioned. "Did he learn anything useful?"

The woman shook her head. "Unfortunately, not much. Nobody knew anything about them. The guy comes here often but the wait staff don't know his name. He only pays cash." She explained. Brett looked up and saw a security camera. "And that security camera? Did the officer check the footage?" Vanessa asked.

"Yeah, but the officer wasn't really impressed…" The lady walked over to the monitor. She rotated the monitor slightly so Violet and Brett could have a look. "This is the best angle we have, not much here though…"

"Can we see the rest of the footage?" Violet asked. "Yeah, sure." The woman answered.

Rewinding the footage, much wasn't seen until they found a waiter taking the menus from their table.

Violet had a thought. "Hang on." She walked over to where the menus were.

Looking at each menu individually, she stumbled across one with writing. She showed Vanessa the bottom of it.

"… 'Call 911. I think he's going to kill me.'" Brett read. Violet and her looked at each other in concern.

Meanwhile…

In the Officer's Quarters, after closing the file, Spinelli walked back in.

"So? Anything?" She asked and crossed her arms. Arnold slowly nodded. "Yeah… Uh, Spinelli, this has the prints of arson."

Spinelli exhaled. "You're such a lifesaver, Arnold… How'd you even know?"

He shrugged. "In my free time, I sometimes work with arson investigators with my mom. It's pretty interesting. Although…" Arnold sighed. "Doesn't beat being in the middle of all of it, you know?"

Spinelli nodded understandingly. "Well, either way, you saved me from a lot of headaches working over this… Thanks." She smiled warmly.

"Of course." He smiled back. Spinelli kissed his cheek before he walked out. Afterward, she stared at the file, mostly thinking about whether trouble was on the horizon.

Violet and Vanessa were back from the diner and brought the breakfast donuts.

"I guess half a Danish won't kill me…?" Travis mentioned. "Mm-hmm" Brett cheekily smiled.

"Vi." Arnold walked into the common room. "Sorry if I left you hanging." Violet stood next to him.

"Any luck?" Arnold asked. "Nope but we did confirm the woman is in danger, but the cops have so little to go on. Unless they can identify this guy." Violet showed an image of the guy on her phone and handed it to Arnold.

"Well, unless I'm wrong, he's a Shingler." He mentioned.

"A what?" Violet asked.

"Roofer, a shingler. See the way his boots are worn out on the inner sides? That's from steep-pitched roofs." Arnold explained. Violet put her hand on his shoulder, lightly gripping it. "You can tell?"

"Yeah, several HFD arson detectives used to work as roofers." Arnold replied. Violet shook her head, almost mesmerized. "… I really could kiss right you…- On the cheek! On the cheek!" She lightly blushed.

Arnold shrugged and smiled. "I guess working with the Arson Unit is paying off." Violet still stared at him, her look changing into a loving one.

The station alarm blared. "Truck 55. Squad 55. Ambulance 55. Person trapped, 1400 North Westland Avenue."

Violet got a peck on his cheek before they went to the apparatus floor. Arnold didn't think of it much and saw it as a 'thank you'.

As sirens wailed, Truck 55 turned into the store's parking lot. Civilians quickly cleared the way for the rigs.

Squad followed in behind, the brakes already squealing and soon air hissing once the truck came to a stop. Truck 55 came to a stop, Spinelli came out with a halligan in hand. Ambulance 55 came to a stop just about in between both trucks.

Arnold got out with a halligan but without his coat, only his bunker pants.

"Alright, Squad! Stand by, I'll see what we're dealing with." He ordered as he went ahead with Spinelli just behind him and her crew behind.

An employee came up to them. "They're in aisle ten!" She pointed.

"Fire Department, coming through!" Arnold shouted.

"Fire Department, step aside!" Spinelli shouted. "Hey! Back up! Give us some room! Back up!" Arnold told the surrounding crowd.

"Where's the victim?" Spinelli asked.

And there, they found a woman impaled by a forklift carrying stacks of water bottles…

Truck immediately got to work and started tearing open the loads to get the stacks of bottles out.

"Do you know where you are?" Vanessa asked as she got her stethoscope.

"Yes!" The woman answered while sobbing. "We'll take care of you. I'm gonna need you to breathe nice and easy." Vanessa told her.

"This isn't my operator's fault. She must have got around the barricade!" The manager said. "Sir, you can help direct the shoppers away from the area!" Violet told the man.

"Folks, c'mon! Clear the aisle! Back up!" Travis told the crowd.

Brett turned around to Arnold. "Arnold, this is a serious piece of metal but is there any way we can leave it in place? If we remove it on-site, I doubt she'll survive the hemorrhaging." Vanessa asked. Arnold went on his radio. "Hey, Clemente, bring in the K12."

"Copy!" Pep answered. "It'll take some work, but we can leave it in place to a manageable size, as long as we're careful." Arnold answered Brett. She nodded. "It's close to her spine so try to minimize movement." She told him.

"Got it." Arnold replied. "Pep, double time."

Violet started an IV on the woman as Truck finally unloaded the pallet's load.

"Alright, get rid of the pallet." Spinelli said.

Cracking off each piece of wood one by one, the pallet was removed from the forklift.

"Clear up, coming through! Coming through!" Pep shouted while carrying the K12.

She handed the tool over to Arnold. "Hey, Pep, we're gonna use the water to cool off the steel." He said. "Got it." Pep answered as she got her helmet eyeshield down.

"Alright guys, watch your eyes." Arnold warned.

Spinelli got her eyeshield down and started unbuckling her coat to use as cover for the woman.

Before Arnold started the K12, he noticed the forklift was lifting the shelf slightly.

"What's wrong?" Spinelli asked after handing her coat to Vanessa. "The forklift must've raised the shelf, it's putting a serious load on the fork."

"And if you make the cut, that piece will kick back like a mule and kill her instantly." Spinelli mentioned. "We can't have that happen." Brett looked back at Arnold after giving Spinelli her coat back.

Arnold looked at the manager. "I need one of your guys to lower the forklift."

"Move that thing while it's in her? No way! Way too much liability!" The manager answered.

Spinelli looked to her left. "Truck! Who's handled a forklift before?" She asked. "I have, twice, it's pretty straightforward." Donovan answered.

Spinelli pointed at the forklift. "Go."

"Why don't your guys quit the chit-chat and help the poor lady?" A tall black man asked. "Hey, we're working on it." Travis answered.

"Working on it? To us, it looks like you're doing nothing but stalling!" The man exclaimed.

"Don, lower the shelf down onto the pin, steady as you can." Arnold said. "Copy." He answered.

"Alright, a little lower." Arnold ordered. Metal started grinding lightly as Donovan cautiously lowered the shelf.

"Lower. Tilt forward."

"What are you waiting for?! Do your JOB!" The man exclaimed. "Hey! Zip it!" Travis shouted.

"You zip it 'cause we're watching you-" A voice then shouted. "HEY! QUIET!" Scott shouted.

"Lower." Arnold told Don.

A metal bang sound then sounded.

"We're set!" Spinelli gave the thumbs up. "Lock it off! Let's go!" Arnold added.

"Hey! I need you to back up now!" Scott mentioned to the crowd.

"Watch your eyes!" Arnold warned as he turned the K12 on. Vanessa shielded the woman with Spinelli's coat with Violet's help.

Arnold finally started sawing the steel forklift arm with Pep pouring water to keep the steel cool.

Sparks rained onto the floor. Arnold finally cut through the steel and turned the K12 off.

Pep tossed the empty bottle aside and helped Brett clear the woman from the shelf. Spinelli got her coat back and immediately walked around the forklift.

Suarez and McCaffery brought in the stretcher, and Violet and Vanessa cautiously laid the woman on her side. Arnold exhaled in relief.

"Clear a hole! Let 'em through!" Travis shouted. "Come on, clear the way!"

Pep and Arnold stayed behind as Spinelli, Violet, Vanessa, and Donovan wheeled the woman away on the stretcher.

Alright, now that I'm finally back, I think it's time we spice things up next chapter... What do you say? What do you think will happen? All I can say is... stay tuned for a FIERY chapter...
