Yuuki had just gotten back from the supermarket with a bag of pudding. He wasn't the biggest fan of pudding in the world, but he heard about a super delicious pudding that was out, and wanted to try it.
Yuuki placed the bag on the kitchen table and got himself a spoon. When he headed back to the table, he saw a small girl with black hair eating one of his pudding cups at the table. Yuuki was startled by the girl's sudden appearance.
"How did she get in here? Did I forget to lock the doors?"
"Mmmm, this pudding is good."
"Uh, excuse me, that's my pudding you're eating." Yuuki said politely, not wanting to upset the girl who looked very young.
"You're pudding? I thought you got this for me?"
"For you?"
The girl nodded back. "You promised to give me pudding, did you not?"
"I…don't know you…" Yuuki said.
"Hmph, have you forgotten already?" the girl said, crossing her arms and pouting.
"Look, I just want to eat my pudding in peace." Yuuki said, somewhat annoyed. He had a long school day and still had to meet up with Twinkle Wish in Asturm for a mission. He wasn't in the mood to be playing games with any elementary school girls.
"Fine, if you want it that much, I'll feed you a piece, just promise me you'll buy more pudding."
"I promise." Yuuki said. The girl scooped up a piece of pudding and asked Yuuki to open his mouth. Yuuki did so and took a bite of the pudding.
"Man, this is actually pretty good!"
"I know right? All the folks on the TV were right! This pudding is super duper good!"
Yuuki still wasn't happy that the girl in question had broken into his home and stole pudding from him, but was willing to let it slide since she was kind enough to let him have some.
"Now then, you're going to get me more pudding right?"
"Uh…yeah, you just wait outside and I'll meet you in a second."
"OK!" the girl said, getting off the chair and heading out the door. Yuuki felt bad for lying to the girl, but he was in no mood to play around. He sat back down at his table and was about to eat the pudding, when suddenly, the girl's head popped up out of the table!
"Hey!"
Yuuki fell back in shock and confusion. Once he lifted his head up, he saw that the girl in question was floating.
"You said you were going to get me more pudding right?"
"You…how are you floating?"
"I'm a ghost. I'm actually surprised that you could see me, the only time people seem to see me is in that video game."
"That…video game…"
Yuuki recalled meeting a ghost girl in the game of Asturm. HIm and Fio were exploring a cave that was rumored to have a ghost girl in it. Yuuki and Fio found said ghost girl and with her help defeated some strong monsters in the cave, on the promise that Yuuki would get the ghost girl pudding.
"So…you're Miyako then?"
"Now you remember! I was the ghost girl that saved you in the cave! I promised to do so if you gave me as much pudding as I wanted."
"yeah…I did do that didn't I?"
"Yep." Miyako said, nodding her head with a smug look on her face.
Yuuki didn't know what to think. He thought the girl in question was just a part of the game, yet here she was, (looking slightly different of course), and asking Yuuki for pudding.
"Well, are you going to get me more pudding, or am I going to have to curse you?"
"Curse me?"
"Yep! Miyako has that power, I think…"
"Look Miyako can't we talk this over! I didn't know you were real! I thought you were a part of the game!"
"No butts, no come on, Yuuki, we're going to get pudding!" Miyako said, grabbing Yuuki's hand and pulling him towards the door.
"Wait Miyako I can't pass through-"
Thud
"Doors…" Yuuki said, after slamming face first into the door. From then on, Yuuki would be met by the ghost of Miyako, who would bug him about buying pudding for her to eat.
"And welcome back." Ames said to Yuuki.
"Another dream huh? I feel like I've been having a lot of these lately."
"While I'll admit it's odd, I am glad that you're having them. Remember, it's you remembering everyone and bonding with them that's going to get you and everyone out of here and back into the real world." she said with a smile.
"That said, I do feel I owe you an apology. I feel it's my fault that you're being haunted by Miyako here. If I would have known that the game could allow ghosts to play as well, I would have done everything to prevent you from meeting her. Then again, aside from her nasty habit of bothering people for pudding, she seems really nice."
"Yeah…I still don't understand how this game can allow ghosts to play, or how Miyako became a ghost in the first place…"
"Yes, that's one mystery we really need to look into. Maybe one day we'll get the answer, but for now, I want to send you back. Just a heads up, Miyako is currently in your room, looks like she wants pudding."
"Thanks for the heads-up. I'll do my best to remember and bond with everyone."
"I know you will,Yuuki, I have faith in you." Ames said before a light blinded Yuuki once more. Yuuki looked around his room for Miyako, and found her at the foot of his bed.
"Morning Yuuki." she said in a hushed tone.
"Considering the fact that it's dark outside, I think it's still night."
"Well it's got to be morning somewhere! Anyway, I wanted to come to you for something."
"Let me guess, more pudding right?"
"Well yes, but no, something other than that."
"Other than that?"
MIyako nodded her head and pulled out a map from her pocket. The map looked to be a treasure map, showing directions to what the map called "the supreme pudding".
"I need you to go on an adventure with me." she said with a determined look on her face.
