Mystic Code's
Happy new year, just so you're aware this chapter is written before I posted my first chapter so I'm not able to respond to reviews with this chapter. And once more to just make clear, Alexander will not be following the usual Naruverse Oc clichés. He will not be summoning a servant and joining a grail war, he does not and will not have any Mystic eyes. And to be clear about His origin's I'll only revel them if and when he finds them out. (sorry for the late chapter, I moved recently and I only just found my computer in all the boxes.) here's the chapter
Alexander's residence, 21 days till deadline, September 8th 2000
Currently still in his basement workshop, Alexander has spent the past five hours since Zelretch's left simply Using Structal Analysis, on the pistol, with each time having him gleaming more and more, holding his hand above the weapon with his fingers barely touching the gun Alexander entering a sort of trance, says "Depend," as his circuits light and travel down his arm and into the weapon. Alexander in that state views more about the mystic-code, and is slowly starting to gain a real understanding of the inert runes carved into the weapon, with him gleaming the meaning of a single rune on the slide, 'Kenaz' or torch, representing, knowledge and intellect. Though its more practical use is to increases one's sight and observation, most likely used to increases the sight and accuracy of the user.
Knowing he'll be unable to gleam more this time he says "Rend" as he cuts the flow of prana to the gun, and saying "End" to turn off his circuits, looking down he writes down the rune in a small journal with the others he's found, the journal only read minus Kenaz, three other runes
Raidho| location grip left side, meaning and use the path/Ride, practical use, Initiative. Increases decision-making to help user gain initiative
Gebo| Location slide, meaning and use Gift/Exchange practical use, the trading of Prana/blood for increased damage and power.
Isa| location hammer, meaning and use Ice/Focus Practical use, when activated clears mind and increases focus on self-preservation, combined with Raidho, combat ability skyrockets. Seams to be needed to activated possible confliction with another rune
Kenaz| Location slide, meaning and use Torch/Knowledge, practical use/ increased vision, and accuracy, possible increase of skill.
Setting down the pen, Alexander places his hand above the weapon once more, and with his finger's barley touching the gun says, "Depend" As once more prana goes into the gun and Alexander attempts to gleam more information about it. He continues this processes not fully aware of his use of an Aria, till many more hours pass with him gaining a bit more information on the Mystic-code, till he's left mentally exhausted and as his luck would have it, there's a knock at the door, meaning either the bounded field was down or someone was able to sneak passed it.
Getting up from the chair and putting the pistol in the box, Alexander heads up the stairs and heads to the door. Opening the door Alexander sees, Luvia standing there, Apon seeing him A bit of tension in Luvia's soldiers dropped, looking at Alexander, Luvia says "Oh Alexander, good to see you're okay, does this mean you've passed Zelretch's test?" she asks and grimaces when Alexander shakes his head no, realizing the possible miscommunication Alexander quickly explains
"No, I haven't passed the test yet, I have to fix a Mystic-code as my test." He explains to Luvia making her grimace leave her face, nodding to herself a smirk appears on her face, "would you like for my help in your endeavor?" She asks, and gets a shake of the head from Alexander, "No, I'm pretty sure Zelretch doesn't want anybody to help." he says denying her help. Nodding in understanding Luvia says. "I understand, I'll make my leave." she says turning around and leaving
Still Alexander's residence, 13 days till deadline, September 16th 2000
Inside the same room that Alexander has been in for the last eight days, currently is Alexander with his head on his desk and screaming unintelligible sounds of frustration. Lifting his head from his desk, Alexander once more looks over the mystic-code and his record of all the runes he found on it. Draping his hand over his eyes Alexander talking to himself says "Come on Alexander the runes are already etched in, so most of the work is already done." he says attempting to reassure himself, he continues repeating this multiple times trying to calm down, to very little actual success. Looking down at the gun, he once more says "Depend" now semi-conscious of the words he's chanting, as he once more looks over the gun with structural analysis, and finally this time deciphering the last rune this one being inside the barrel itself, and he picked up something odd, one line. 'a nameless mystic-code created as a prototype for-' And as Alexander gleams this brief line he stands there for a minute completely confused. Before quickly writing down the final rune, rushing upstairs towards the library. Once there he starts rummaging through the shelves, briefly stopping for a moment at finding a hidden door by pulling on one of the books, before continuing his search stopping only once he found a group of papers entitled.
The enactment of artificial phantasm's
Noble phantasms also known as the crystallization of belief are the tools used by Heroic-Spirits. Most Noble phantasms originate from Gilgamesh's treasury, the Noble Phantasm the Gate of Babylon, though there are some exceptions to this rule such as any weapon said to be forged after his death. How the Noble phantasms are created is when enough mysteries or belief as I prefer gather onto a person or weapon, I.e., a sword that killed a hundred men, becomes a sword with the ability to kill a hundred men. Though this does not mean that Noble phantasms must be physical items, as some are concepts or a part of the legends of the Heroic-Spirit in question, example the servant Heracles, possesses the Noble phantasm, God-Hand which is the representation of his twelve labors, with this phantasm giving him the ability to revive twelve times. Most Noble Phantasms have either been lost, broken or became inert, two of the only known noble phantasms now are Fragarach passed down through the McRemitz family, and Rhongomyniad, the lance of king Arthur, which I've actually had the pleasure of studying, which is how I've been able to deduce a method on how to create an Artificial Phantasm. Put simply as to not weaken the ritual, by supplementing the belief of thousands over the course of many years, with faith, and voiding the many years necessary by nearly overloading the item with a purpose and idea, also an extreme amount of prana, it is possible to make an item recognized by the root as a Noble phantasm long enough for it to become a phantasm permanently, unfortunately no matter how much effort and prana put into this process it is next to impossible to create anything greater than an E ranked noble Phantasm. Though this does not take into account true magic's, as quite easily the first, second, and third magics. With the first simple creating a phantasm, with the second pulling enough prana to overload the item, and with the third simply giving the item a soul thus creating a pseudo phantasm. Now as I'm sure there will be some that deny my paper's validity, I have created three working prototypes, two I have given to both the Wizard Marchel and vice Director Barthomeloi, the third is always on my person, and my masterpiece, a fully functional D+ Artificial Phantasm, so to those that question my papers validity, go ahead ask Zelretch, or perhaps waste Barthomeloi's time I dare you.

Alexander after reading this one paper can say only one thing "Huh?" he lets out very confused at the paper he himself wrote, leaving many more questions than answers. Going back down stairs he immediately heads back down, ignoring the slight burn from his still activated circuits, till he reaches the possible artificial phantasm, and once more views the item, this time due to his much better understanding gets a bit more off the gun, including two very simple words of its history. Noble Phantasm.

It's been two days since the revelation that the gun in front of Alexander is a Noble phantasm meaning it's not truly broken, just slightly in disrepair, Alexander has since started truly studying the application of runes, in order to begin attempts to rebind the runes to the gun, currently Alexander is rereading the journal in order to make sure he didn't miss any runes.

Ehwaz| location grip right side, meaning and use Horse/Partnership, practical use increasing trust and bond to facilitate swiftness in every regard.
Uruz| Location slide, meaning and use Aurochs/physical power, practical use increasing raw power and durability of item, note all the outfits in the room of the same one have this on them
Algiz| Location slide, meaning and use Elk/Protection, practical use inducing a teaching force, in order to increase skill and connection to weapon.
Sowilo| Location top of barrel, meaning and use Sun/Victory, practical use guidance to goals in order to achieve victory, note able to be toggled confirmed conflict with Isa do not use together
Thurisaz| Location slide, meaning and use Giants/Weapon practical use self-empowerment at cost of extreme bloodlust, due not use rune unless necessary
Wunjo| Location slide, meaning and use Joy/Harmony practical use making weapon unlikely to fail, I.e., a jam or misfire.
Gandr| Location inside barrel, meaning and use Sickness/plague practical use, by supplying prana can either infuse bullets with curse to lower physical capacities, or in case of missing ammo, can fire the curse itself with the same force as a bullet and, still cause sickness
Finished with every single rune engraved onto the mystic-code Alexander gets to work slowly rebind the runes to their engraved spots. Picking up some materials the book suggested Alexander crushes them in his hands while saying "Depend," slightly aware of the trance he's putting himself through as he begins to bind some of the runes. "Deprave," He says continuing his chant, as he pours prana into the first runes, completely in the trance and unaware of his actions Alexander's left arm drops as he says "Break," and his prana follows a path along the noble phantasm, as his prana reaches the last runes and prepares to bind them Alexander says "Cold Hate," as Alexander's prana moves to his commands and starts binding the runes. In his trance completely unaware of his prana causing his papers and materials to go everywhere, he says "Mourn at Your grave." as his prana infuses with the runes binding them once more, and sending a burst of wind sending paper everywhere, snapping out of the trance Alexander brushes a paper stuck to his face off and looks down at the nameless pistol, and picks it up, slowly adopting the stance his sister showed him, Alexander focusing prana into the gun moves it through pathways in it to the inside of the barrel, and slowly with the more prana he focuses the bigger the glow of the sickening curse gets, before Alexander pulls the trigger sending the weapon kicking back as a ball of compressed curses fires from the pistol and leaves an indentation and scorch mark on the wall.
Looking at the firearm currently in his hands Alexander can't help but do what almost every American would do with a gun in their hand, and smiles brightly while mumbling to himself. "Yes! I did it!" he says extremely proud with himself, taking a moment to try and figure out what he's going to do with it, Alexander smile deepens as he heads upstairs, and down the hallway and opening the door to the library, Alexander goes for a specific book and pulls hearing the click sound he pushes the bookcase to the side revealing the secret room, going inside and moving a few boxes of ammo, Alexander finds the shoulder-rig he was looking for, adjusting it, he puts it over his shoulders, and test some of the mags in here with his own mystic-code. Them fitting Alexander loads the pistol making sure the cambers clear and the safety's on, he grabs three more and places them in the side pouch and heads to the bathroom to look at how it looks in the mirror.
Looking at himself, "what?" he exclaims looking down to his holster once more, and noticing a few more engravings on it as well, these ones clearly not inert. Ignoring that for now, due to wanting this test to be over with as fast as possible, Alexander looks at himself in the mirror building up the courage he says "Zelretch I'm done!" he says, as a second passes, then two till Alexander says to himself "eh, long-shot anyway" before heading down to the entry way, and putting on a jacket to hide his mystic-code and to keep warm.
Opening the door, Alexander begins on the path to the Clock tower he has since become familiar with. Moving the short distance through the streets of London, till he arrives at the Clock tower. Moving about the hallways doing his best to avoid attention, once at the door to Zelretch's office, Alexander knocks twice, and waits a few seconds, getting no response Alexander knocks once more... still nothing, trying the door to see its unlocked Alexander lightly rest a hand under his arm, where his Mystic-code is. Slowly opening the door to find a completely empty room, examining further Alexander finds a letter on the desk addressed to him. The letter reads this
Ah, Alexander if you're reading this, then you finished early and have broken into my office, depending on how early you finished it'll be longer till I'm back, don't worry I'll be back by the test's deadline. Till that time enjoy yourself, have fun, study more. Oh yes can't forget, for your punishment for breaking into my office, you'll be officially starting your time here at the clock tower, I've signed you up for all the classes that your other self-took. What else... oh yes, you see Alexander there's this rouge-Magi that is experimenting in something beyond his limits, I'll need you to deal with him, have it done before October ends, all the relevant details are within this envelope. Reading through all of this Alexander, raises a hand to his face and sighs deeply, and sorts through the paper, finding his class schedule, and the information about the man he needs to take care of, taking one look at the paper about the man, he does one thing... "Crap!" he shouts out in frustration after taking a brief glance
Omake, Servant summoning 1
Standing inside a rented space in Fuyuki, is Alexander standing across from a Woman wearing, purple robes, and a head dress that completely covers her eyes and most of her head. Speaking the woman says
"Servant, Caster, are you, my master?" she asks, Alexander looking at her responds, "Um, I summoned you, but can we keep the whole master, servant thing at the absolute minimum? that she devil made that already uncomfortable word thousands of times worse." he says to the woman, confused by her masters sudden tangent Caster says "That is fine with me, but I must ask, why did you summon me?" she asks, Alexander raises his right hand and scratches the back of his head.
"Truthfully, Medea it was between you or another servant, and I always thought you were dealt a shit hand, so I'm giving you free reign for this war." Alexander says with a sad smile on his face, Medea clearly skeptical questions "Really so if I were to kill you right now?" she asks pulling out rule breaker, almost immediately Alexander pulls out a gun, "Well I do want to stay alive so I would fight back, though I doubt that with enough time I could beat you, as it stands now, I have about a twenty-percent chance of winning." Alexander says still holding the gun but not actually pointing it at Medea. Surprised by the speed at which Alexander reacted, she frowns.
"Very well, for the time being, I'll work with you" she says still skeptical about her summoner
Smiling brighter Alexander says "Okay well there's a lot of clothing here if you would like to change, if not you can just astralize and meet me out side." he offers before his face suddenly drops and says "Oh yeah, I would suggest to not kill Archer's master, the bastard would never let me hear the end of it." he says before continuing out the door.
And that's it, few things yes, it is a Noble Phantasm, I said he wouldn't summon a servant not that he wouldn't dabble in their weapons, and just to be clear its rank is E, basically it's just a really powerful mystic-code. I wanted him to have something that would help him survive in type-moon. And if you think that he repaired it too soon, normally you'd be right, but it had all the hard work done already, plus he did technically make it from scratch the first time. Moving on yes Gray Morality if you guessed is the D+ Noble Phantasm, not going to give any more info than that. And the Omake no it's not true to the story, but if he summoned a Servant, it would be one from a very short list with Medea on the top.
