Preparations and travels.

Welcome back. Not much to say in this pre chapter thing so I'm just going to go right in.

Clock Tower, Monday October 9th 2000

Alexander not speaking with Waver, since he knows that's where Luvia would look for him first. Instead, is inside his house, looking through the hidden room for supplies. Too which are not very hard to find since the original Alexander, used the same sorting system that Alexander does. Meaning gathering ammo, and finding a little black book containing likely predated contacts.

With everything he needs, and very little time to prepare. Alexander heads out of his house, making sure to avoid the more obvious locations. Quickly making his way to the nearest phone booth. After a quick look through on his contact list, and finding the most likely one to be currently in services, he calls the number.

Listing to the person on the other side of the phone he says "Hello, I'm Alexander and I'd like to arrange transportation of myself, and some of my equipment." listing to the phone again Alexander says "Oh, Italy, I'm sure that won't be a problem. Yes, I'm more than able to pay that. Hmm? Reason for the trip? It's a hunting trip, so I can't exactly take a public flight. Okay yeah thanks, I'll be their Wednesday."

Alexander says lying before hanging up the phone, and leaving the booth preparing himself for one hell of a possible lecture. He makes his way back. Purposely taking the long way around. Weaving through the slightly crowded halls, till he makes his way back to Luvia's current residents.

Once arriving and not finding Luvia there, after a quick investigation, and a slight freak out, Alexander heads out intending on actually speaking with Waver. Quickly finding his way to Waver's office, Alexander raises his hand to knock on the door. Only for his arm not to move at all, confused, he pulls his hand back with no effort and goes to knock again, and once more his arm stops completely.

Alexander turning away from the door makes the same motion. This time his arm doesn't stop itself, leaving Alexander even more confused. Raising his left arm, Alexander lightly knocks on the door with no issue, seeing that working Alexander tries the same with his other arm, and once again it stops.

And so, Alexander stubbornly refusing to use his other arm, just stands there attempting to move his hand to knock on the door, silently questioning exactly what's happening. Just stands there for thirty minutes, till Waver opens the door.

"Mister Silver, do you need something?" He asks with a slightly raised eyebrow. Alexander suddenly in control of his arm again says. "Yeah, have you seen Luvia?" he asks still confused about his arm. "I have she asked me to inform her if I saw you."

"Okay if you do, can you tell her I'm probably going to be back already." He says before turning to leave. Waver stopping him asks "Where are you going to be back at?" Alexander with a strained smile says "I would rather not say, Luvia's place."

"Which is it?" Waver hearing this contradiction asks. Confused Alexander tilts his head slightly lets out a "Huh?" Suddenly sighing deeply Alexander says "sorry weird symptom of my craft, I say things I don't mean too."

"Hm, your study is on the Heaven's feel, correct?" he asks making Alexander pause for a second. "...Part of it." Narrowing his eyes, Alexander inspects Waver, a bit before saying. "Well just tell her if you see her okay." before walking off as fast as he can without making it appear as if he's doing so.

Waver watching this just hums, before going back into his office. Alexander going throughout the halls, avoiding the fouler areas. Starts heading back to Luvia's. Quickly ducking into a side room randomly Alexander waits, for a few seconds before coming back out.

Realizing something Alexander changes directions and starts heading towards Zeltretch's office. Completely ignoring his odd behavior, as he maneuvers his way through the busy halls, before coming up to the door of Zeltretch's office.

Knocking before opening it he walks in. "Ah Alexander what brings you to my office?" Zeltretch asks sitting behind his desk, smiling. Alexander still standing by the door says "well I was wondering..." he starts before trailing off unsure of how to phrase the question.

His expression and whole demeanor changing he says "I need some guns for a cover, a hunting rifle and a shotgun to be exact." Zeltretch giving a slight smile at the bluntness says "Oh I'm sure that can be more than arranged, I take it you're planning on attacking your target, before he leaves Italy?"

Alexander hearing this drops his shoulders immediately and just starts screaming "AGHH!" calming himself down he says "Sorry about that, I just didn't say anything." Zeltretch eyes sharpening says "Alexander do you need a spiritual healer to see you?"

"Not right now, I'll look into it later." Nodding at the slight agreement Zeltretch says "Very well, it will take a little while but I assume you don't care about the actual potential of the equipment?" taking a second to think about it before saying "Yeah I don't need them for anything other than the cover I'm flying in on."

"Okay then, I'll be sure to take the cost out of your payment for the Adienfugre, crest." stopping mid-way through the door, Alexander turns his head to look at Zeltretch before saying "Huh?" he lets out confused. "Alexander do you remember our first conversation at all?"

"Not really, no." Alexander says before quickly closing the door. Rushing down the halls wanting to get as far as possible away from Zeltretch.

London, Tuesday October 10th 2000

Now onto Caster's, but I would like to once again reiterate that the best option for the Heaven's feel is to not participate, assuming that as a magus the potential of true magic is not something you'll give up. Sadly, the best Caster servants are unviable, as Merlin is still alive, and Solomen removed himself from the throne of heroes.

*click*

Luvia eye twitching ignores the sound and continues reading.

My personal pick for a caster is Medea of Colchis, but she is not exactly the easiest servant for other mages to deal with, as most won't be able to look past her monarch, but if you can she is a force to be reckoned with. My advice if you do choose to summon her is, treat her with respect and as a person not a weapon, and do not, I repeat do not use a command seal on her unless she expressly gives permission.

Now assuming that you don't have it in you to trust Medea, I would rank one of the best casters that most could trust as Cú Chulainn, he while mostly known for his Spearman ship is quite the mage, not only does he support access to some of the strongest runes, he is still fairly strong himself, even without the boast to his strength summoning him as a lancer would, he is actually about equal to it. And if you're worthy of it he'll be the most loyal servant ever.

Luvia's eye twitching once more as she turns from the book to look at Alexander, who is currently holding a break action hunting shotgun, and is doing basic maintenance. "Alexander, I thought you said you only needed those for a cover." Alexander not turning his focus from the gun says "I do, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't do the proper checks."

"Can you keep it down then?" She asks still tired from her last argument with him. Setting the shotgun down and taking a rag, he says "Sure." nodding she turns her attention back to the book, and starts to read again.

If you'd like options, I would suggest the brothers Grimm, not only do they have the ability to figure out a servants identity, likely thanks to them inventing Folkloristics. And their noble phantasm, the ability to give life to the stories they told as very weak servants themselves. Makes them a very versatile option. Though their appearance might shock you, mainly as the brothers are one servant, instead of two different ones.

Alexander, setting the oiled rag aside, takes the shotgun, and carefully packs it in a case. Closing the case and putting everything away. "Alexander?" Luvia asks having set the book down. "Hm?" he responds while cleaning up.

"I'm curious are you aware of how your other self, came to know about all these servants." she asks, causing Alexander to pause for a moment. "I have no clue, I know he didn't summon them, everything he had mentioning the Heaven's feel said that the grail war wasn't worth it, so I'm assuming he didn't participate."

"What do you know about him?" Alexander taking a second to think about it before saying "I know he's dead, and that he had a fiancé, and his origins. And that's it." Luvia letting out a breath says "Our Alexander, origin don't differ between worlds."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it. It's just that contradiction origins are supposed to be a hurtle to figure out and takes a lot of self-reflection which I didn't go through so it's difficult to accept that I just suddenly knew how my origin's affect me." he says frustrated, leaning back slightly Luvia says "I've heard of Mage-crafts for learning skills from past lives, do you think something similar is happening with you?"

"No, this is different, I don't know how I know a lot of the things I do. It's mainly subconscious, I almost pass it over without realizing, hell I say things I don't remember, and now my body will move on its own." he says shaking his head in some attempt to make some sense of the situation. "Maybe you are possessed?" Luvia suggests. "Nope. Benefits of faith."

"You don't believe in god." she says flatly, smiling Alexander says "Not what I was talking about." not letting her confusion show on her face for long, Luvia says "maybe, you should look into your other self-more." Sighing deeply, Alexander says "Where would I even start with that?" he asks not expecting an answer

"You have a house full of his items, at least one of them should help you figure out something." shrugging alexander says "probably, but there is also the more than likely chance a lot of those things are trapped or locked away somewhere."

"That is unclear, we don't know for certain, that you and your other self, are similar at all, for all we know he could have just written this way for humor, and was a very trusting man." hearing this he just levels a deadpan stare at her.

"Sure..." he says semi mockingly, "You never know, for all we know your fiancé, could be Barthomeloi." she says with a slight smirk, laughing Alexander says "Maybe that's how he died." before grabbing his bags, and slinging them over his shoulder.

"Where are you going?" Luvia asks with a completely false kind smile. "Home, I have a day to set up some kind of bounded field, since I'm sure by the time I get back, it will run dry, feel free to help if you want to keep an eye on me."

"Very well, I suppose I could use some practice." she says getting up and grabbing the book and putting it away before following Alexander out, the door. Heading back to his house.

Line break, Airfield, Wednesday October 11th 2000

Alexander currently riding inside a car, Alexander looking out the window sighing says. "Why did you come with me again?" not looking away from the road, Waver says "I was heading to this part of the country for business anyway so driving you to your destination, doesn't cause me any trouble."

"And why are you not bringing your apprentice on this business? You aren't trying to kill me, are you?" Alexander asks attempting to prepare himself to kill his professor. "This investigation has the potential to be dangerous." Alexander still looking out the window says "She has Rhongomyniad, she would be fine."

Waver slamming on the breaks turns quickly to Alexander, and ends up staring directly into the barrel of his pistol. "You have five seconds to explain." Waver keeping calm, says "I stopped to ask how you know Gray has Rhongomyniad, or was that a side effect?" lowering his gun he says "No, some books of mine said I research king Arthur's lance, so when you brought in Gray, I assumed because of her last name she was the one who let me."

"So, it's true?" Waver asks starting to drive again, still looking out the window Alexander says "What is?" he asks. "That Zeltretch worked with an alternate version of you." sighing and leaning back in his seat, he says "Yeah, apparently the only reason I'm here is because he's dead."

"How do you feel about Gray?" Waver asks very seriously out of nowhere, confused Alexander says "Why?" keeping focus on the road Waver says "Just simple curiosity." narrowing his eyes at the answer Alexander answers "I don't like her face, don't really know why."

Nodding at the answer he doesn't say anything else, and just turns the car. This silence continues till eventually they come up to a certain airfield. "I believe this is your stop." nodding Alexander gets out of the car, and turns back saying "Thanks professor." before walking to the trunk of the car, and pulling out a few cases.

Giving a thumbs up Alexander watches as Waver drives off, before turning to the hanger. Seeing the main door open, he walks in. "Hey you Silver?" comes a voice to Alexanders side. Turning to the voice Alexander quickly assessing the women, relaxes significantly at the utter lack of odd taste in the air.

"Are you Esther?" Nodding the women says "Okay that means you're Silver right, you're a lot younger than I was expecting." She says looking him up and down. "I've been getting that a lot recently." he says with a small smile.

"So what's the deal?" she asks slightly unsure of what she's talking about he asks "With what?" crossing her arms she says "With you going to Italy to hunt, you're really young for a hunter." his smile straining Alexander says "I'm American, my cousin and I have been hunting all around the world, for a long-time now." he says truthfully.

"Esther, lay off the kid, he's paying well, so as long as we won't end up as criminal's I'm fine with it." Another voice rings out this one belonging to a man slightly taller than Alexander. "Speaking of paying." Alexander says before setting a suitcase, down. "Thirty thousand, like promised."

"Kid, what the hell do you do for a living?" the unnamed man asks. "Research." Alexander says nonchalantly. "Okay, need help with your gear?" shaking his head Alexander says "No I'm good." before pointing at the plane behind him "Is that it?" getting a nod of confirmation he starts to carefully load up his equipment.

"Hey Silver, you sick?" Esther asks after Alexander finishes loading up. Alexander very overheated from his circuits that still refuse to turn off, and the bandages and two heavy layers of clothes necessary to hide the glow from them.

"No I'm fine, just dressed for colder weather." he says before walking over to a water cooler, and pouring himself a few cups. The man walking up says "Okay mister Silver, I'm Greg, I need you to sign this, and please write everything you're taking for the manifest."

Nodding Alexander grabs the clipboard, and starts writing the information. Semi-truthfully. Finishing with the form, Alexander hands it back to Greg, who takes a few moments to read it before saying. "Okay, this looks in order, so we'll be taking off in half an hour, the flight itself will take about four hours, and if you wish to use us again, we'll be staying in Italy for three days before flying back."

"Okay so I'll just wait till then." Alexander says before leaning against a wall out of the way, waiting to head to Italy, and likely killing his target to prevent live dissection.

Omake, Meetings

Alexander now much older, is sitting down at his desk, doing some basic maintenance of his mystic-codes, as he has been for most of the rather slow day, when suddenly another much younger Alexander suddenly appears in the room, the older Alexander looking him up and down just says "Zeltretch?" meanwhile the younger one, just stares at his older self, and sighs very deeply. "Yep, would asking you questions mess with some sort of natural law?"

Shaking his head, the older Alexander says "Nope, we're alternate versions of each other not the same version, so us talking doesn't actually bring about any real issues." nodding at the explanation the younger one says "Okay so I do have a few questions." smiling the older one says "go for it."

"Who was your Fiancé?" putting his hands together in front of his face he says "Not telling, since that might ruin any possible relationship with her, or with another since we are not exactly the same." sighing deeply at the avoided question he says "Why do I have one more circuits than you?"

"Oh, when I first unlocked my circuits, I tested how much prana one could make before it burnt out, the answer was fifty-five units by the way." leveling him with a dead pan stare the younger one says "So instead of keeping the extra thirty units, you decided to burn them on finding out your max?"

"Knowing that limit saved my life more than once." he says defending his tests. "Okay, what's the deal with the moon?" the older Alexander dropping his hands onto the desk says "You be quite about the moon." grabbing the sides of his head the young Alexander screams before saying "Why won't anybody tell me what the hell is going on with the moon?!"

"Trust me it's better if you don't know all the crap going on there, plus it shouldn't have any impact or barring for..." he pauses briefly to check something on his desk, "About twenty years, and even then, we won't have to deal with it."

"The more you talk about it the more I want to know." he says sighing deeply. "Okay should I ask you a few questions?" the older Alexander asks, in response the younger just nods. "So, Tsukihime, or Garden of Sinners?"

Looking his other self in the eye the younger Alexander tilts his head and lets out a "Huh" before disappearing from the room altogether. Giving a slightest glance to the spot he disappeared from, the older Alexander just looks down back to his mystic-codes. And starts cleaning them.

And that's it, an explanation on why Alexander has an extra circuit, and exactly how much prana his circuits can handle. Obviously, this was Original Alexander and Protag Alexander meeting. And we got some insight of Alexander's choices for the grail war.
