Episode 1: Meet the Campers

Chris McLain walks out on the doc of a brand new island.

"Hi and welcome to Total Drama. I'm your host, Chris McLain. After everything that's happened over the seasons we've decided to begin anew. A new cast, a new chunk of change up for grabs, and most importantly a new island. This particular island was very easy to purchase actually since the former owners disappeared somewhere. It's known for one thing over all else…it's full of ferocious animals, namely bears! (Shows lots of grizzly bears in the forest). There are also sharks (shows massive sharks in the water), massive insects (shows a frog try and catch a fly with its tongue but getting carried away instead), dangerous snakes (shows a snake circling a bunny), and killer bunnies (shows the bunny kick the snake away with a karate kick). Don't worry though, we sent our beloved interns in to make sure it was safe. I'm sure they'll tell us it's safe if they're ever found. For this season, we've decided to tri-I-I mean get 22 new vic-I mean "campers" to compete for a chance to win $5,000,000. The campers will be arriving soon by boat as they did in season 1. We'll do quick introductions and then we get ready for the most extreme, the most intense, the most dramatic, season of total drama yet," Chris boasts proudly.

He hears one of the boat motors approaching and smiles.

"And here they come! We have our first contestant of the season," Chris says as the boat pulls up by the doc and stops.

A teenage guy with shaggy brown gets off the boat. He's a taller guy with a dragon necklace around his neck and he's wearing jeans with holes in them and a red shirt with a monkey in the center of it. Overtop of the shirt is a black short sleeved button up shirt with the buttons undone. He gets off the boat and throws up a rock on sign.

"First one here dudes!" He yells happily.

"Meet our first new camper Timothy. He's a skater dude with a never say die attitude and it's worth mentioning he can't say no to a dare," Chris explains.

"Whoa dude! If I'm the first one here, does that mean I win?" Timothy asks.

"Uh, no. A for effort though," Chris says.

"Right on! I didn't know we got graded!" Timothy says in surprise.

Chris slaps his forehead as the second boat pulls up. A black girl with long black hair gets off and flips her hair. She's wearing a red headband in her hair with a white tank top on and red short shorts. The tank top has red lettering on it saying "Wandaful" on the back

"And now we have our next competitor Wanda. She's a spunky little athlete with gold on her mind. Having been trained by olympic champions, success runs in her blood. Will that help her get the gold she seeks? We shall see," Chris explains

"Gold is right baby, because Wanda didn't come to settle for silver," Wanda says confidently.

"Well I mean technically I beat you here so you got the silver in arrival," Timothy says objectively.

Wanda glares at him.

"I wasn't driving the boat so it doesn't count," she says in slight annoyance.

"My dude was cooler!" Timothy cheers.

Wanda's eyebrow twitches in frustration.

"Remember Wanda. Eyes on the prize," Wanda says as she closes her eyes and crosses her arms.

Timothy offers his fist out.

"Fist bump?" He asks.

She rolls her eyes and bumps his fist.

"BOOYA!" He yells in excitement.

Wanda rubs her pinkie in her ear as another boat pulls up. This time a hispanic teenager with wild brown hair and a little bit of chin hair hops off the boat with a hobo sack slung over his shoulder. He's wearing an orange sweater over a yellow t shirt with blue pants and different colored sneakers. He smiles and waves to the others. Chris gags and plugs his nose.

"Eww dude! What's that horrendous smell?" Chris asks.

"Mmmm? Good question friend. It could be the bag full of rotten hotdogs or the urin I covered myself in or-" the guy starts.

Chris throws up and Wanda follows in suit.

"Wicked bro. Is it for survival on the island?" Timothy asks.

"It's for survival in general," he says seriously.

"Have fun with this guy. His name is Miguel. Previously to this he was incarcerated in a mental institution for…something. Anyways, that's your problem now! Goooood luck," Chris says tauntingly.

Miguel walks over to Chris and offers his hand. Chris looks disgusted but reluctantly offers his hand back. Miguel quickly grabs Chris's wrist and licks the palm of his hand all the way up.

"EEEEEWWWWWW," Chris yells in utter disgust.

"Hmm. Tastes like a middle aged man trying to retain his youth through hair jell and make up. You aren't to be trusted with nickels," Miguel confirms as he walks over to the others.

"Sounds like he's your problem too," Wanda jokes.

"What? I can't hear you over the sound of our next competitor arriving!" Chris says excitedly as he skillfully redirects attention to another oncoming boat.

The next boat pulls up to the shore and drops off a very pale and scrawny teenage male. He's got long black hair that comes down over his left eye and he's wearing a black hoodie with the hood up and black pants. He sighs immediately after coming off the boat and pulls his hood further down over his face.

"Why did it have to be a summer camp? It's not like we're kids anymore. We're old enough to be camp counselors. Besides, this place looks pretty dangerous just at a glance. If we stay we're probably gonna die. A million dollars isn't worth-" he starts as he turns towards the boat and sees it leaving.

He groans and rubs his head.

"The sun alone will kill me before nightfall. I hope I get voted off early," the guy says in a moppy voice.

"Campers, I want you to meet Melvin the moppy. His negativity is so contagious that he simply had to be part of this all star set. Having been teased his whole childhood he isolated himself and became the living marshmallow you see today," Chris says proudly.

Melvin looks over at the others. Timothy waves, Wanda looks away, and Miguel picks his nose looking the other way.

"...Ew. People," he says reluctantly as he walks over.

"Fist bump bro!" Timothy yells.

Melvin sighs.

"Pass," he says.

"You don't leave a bro hanging," Timothy says.

"Positivity isn't my thing, or people," Melvin explains.

"Then what is your thing?" Wanda asks.

"Does it matter?" He asks.

"It should," Wanda says.

Melvin rubs his head a little in thought as another boat pulls up to the dock. This time a girl with long blonde hair gets off the boat with a cheerful smile. She's wearing a white button up shirt with blue jeans and a white hairband in her hair. She's also got a beautiful sapphire necklace hanging around her neck.

"Hi everyone! I'm so glad to be here. I can't wait to meet you all," She says with a kind wave.

"Sup," Timothy says back with a wave.

"Campers, this is Lissa. She's a chipper cheerleader who listens to her parents too much. Her hobbies include cheerleading, positive pep talks, and adorable kittens. We'll see how long that positive attitude lasts here," Chris says deviously.

Lissa walks over and throws Chris into a hug.

"Positivity transfer," she says playfully.

"What? No! Hands off! New rule! No competitors are allowed to touch the host," Chris says as he pushes Lissa off.

She rushes over and hugs Wanda in one arm and Timothy in the other.

"Positivity hugs," she says chipperly.

Wanda sighs and Timothy smiles nervously. Lissa releases and walks over to Melvin.

"No. I don't do-" he starts.

"Positivity hug," she says as she throws him into a crushing hug.

"Too…much…positivity…fading fast," Melvin says in a struggle.

Lissa lets go and he backs far away from her. She looks at Miguel with a nervous smile and takes a step back.

"Maybe not one for you. We'll give it a raincheck," Lissa explains.

"I feel ya girl. That smell would peel the paint off the walls," Wanda confirms.

Miguel shrugs and licks his armpit. Lissa looks disgusted and Wanda and Melvin look taken aback.

"Gnarly bro! I tried that once and dislocated my shoulder," Timothy says.

"Boys," Wanda says sarcastically as she rolls her eyes.

The next boat pulls up by the dock and drops off a teenage guy with square framed glasses. He's got well maintained light brown hair and a wristwatch on his right wrist. He's wearing a white t-shirt with a green button up shirt over it that has white stripes running around it and dark green cargo pants. He adjusts his glasses, stiffens his stance, and smiles at the group.

"Greetings and salutations. My name is Victor J Worthmore. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintances. Although we may all be competitors I hope we can set our differences aside outside of challenges," the teenager says.

"Was that a question?" Timothy whispers to Melvin.

Melvin sighs.

"Basically he said hi and said something along the lines of not wanting to fight outside of challenges or something," Melvin explains reluctantly.

"Thanks bro," Timothy says.

"Campers, a certain someone already rudely introduced himself, so I'll just tell you that he's a bit socially awkward and to please exploit that as much as possible," Chris says as he gives Victor an encouraging push towards the others.

Victor awkwardly walks towards the others and looks surprised when Timothy offers out his fist.

"Fist bump?" He asks.

Victor bumps his fist and relaxes a little.

"Perhaps this little adventure won't be as abismal as I first thought," Victor says calmly.

Miguel walks over and offers out his fist.

"I wouldn't," Wanda warns.

Against her better judgment Victor goes to bump the fist but his wrist is quickly grabbed and his hand is licked by Miguel.

"Mmm. Soap. Good man. I trust you with blue," Miguel says.

Victor quickly pulls his hand away and dips it in the lake water. He cries out and pulls his arm out to see a turtle has latched on to his arm.

"I'm starting to feel my wallet getting fatter already," Wanda says confidently as she looks around at her competition.

The next boat pulls up to the shore and drops off a girl with short brown hair that stops at her shoulders. She's a muscular girl wearing a black sports bra and black and yellow wrestling tights. She tosses a bag down on the ground that makes a sharp *tink*.

"Campers meet Makayla. She's a state wrestling champion with an aggressive streak a mile long. I'd keep my distance from her if I were you as she hasn't had an opponent in months. They're all in the hospital," Chris says with a laugh.

Everyone takes a step back except Timothy.

"Yo! Fist bump?" He asks.

Makayla walks over and punches his fist with extreme force. The others wince at the sound of a crack in Timothy's wrist.

"Wicked," Timothy says through pain.

"Please ma'am, allow me to procure your luggage-" Victor starts as he walks over and tries to pick up the bag.

It won't move an inch despite Victor trying his very best.

"It's full of weights idiot," Makayla says as she picks it up and slings it over her shoulder.

"Ah. M-My apologies," Victor says in embarrassment.

"It's whatever. At least you tried," she says as she walks over with the others.

The next boat pulls up and a girl with long blonde hair gets off and looks disturbed at the sight before her. She's wearing a pink tank top with skinny jeans, heels, and a pair of white trimmed sunglasses with pink lenses.

"Umm…Excuse me for a second," she says as she spins around with her back to the others and pulls out a cell phone.

She quickly makes a call and after a few rings gets an answer.

"Hello? Daddy?...Yes I made it to the island but…Y-Yes sir, but I….Yes sir," she says in disappointment as she hangs up.

Chris quickly snatches the phone as she spins back around.

"No electronics on the island, thank you," Chris says sarcastically as he tosses it out in the water.

"Technically we're on the dock through bro. Wouldn't land be the island?" Timothy asks.

The girl rolls her eyes.

"Rude. I was gonna hand it over anyways," she explains.

"Guys, meet daddy's spoiled princess Helen. She's the daughter of a wealthy business owner who's been made by her father to participate on the show. Hopefully she at least watched an episode or two before coming," Chris says.

Helen nervously shakes her head.

Chris laughs.

"Oh this is gonna be GOOD," he says in excitement.

Helen nervously walks over with the others where Timothy offers out his fist.

"Fist bump?" He asks.

"I'll…pass, thank you," Helen says reluctantly.

"Really? Lame," Timothy says in disappointment.

The next boat pulls up to the dock and drops off a short blonde teenage girl with round framed glasses, a top hat, and a magician's cape. She's wearing a white button up shirt with black pants and she's got a magic wand in her left hand. She bows respectfully to the group with a smile.

"Cool. A magic show," Timothy says in excitement.

Helen tries to pretend she's not interested, but can't help but stare at the girl.

"Campers, I'd like for you to meet August Mayshyne. She's a small-time magician who's practiced her craft since she was 3 years old," Chris explains.

August throws a marble down on the ground that creates a smokescreen around her. When the smoke clears August seems to have disappeared.

"Whoa! Where'd she go?!" Timothy asks in amazement.

"That's the GREAT August to you Chris," August says as she pops out from behind Makayla.

Timothy claps and Helen looks absolutely amazed.

Makayla spins around and looks angry as she picks August up by the back of her cape. Makayla easily dangles the small girl in front of her face and August chuckles nervously. Suddenly a bunny pokes its head out from under the top hat. Makayla looks at it and it smiles, which causes her to blush.

"Y-You've got a rabbit," Makayla says.

"Yeah. I have lots of animal friends. They help me out with my performances. This is Cream. She's my assistant," August explains.

"That actually…sounds pretty adorable," Makayla admits as she slowly lets August down.

"Do you like rabbits?" August asks.

"N-No," Makayla says unconvincingly.

"That's too bad. Cream seems to like you," August says as she looks up and sees the bunny still poking out.

"Cream?...That's cute," Makayla says to herself with a blush.

"Huh?" August asks.

"Nothing," Makayla says dismissively.

The next boat pulls up to the dock and drops off a small ginger teenager with short hair and a handheld video game in his hands. He's wearing a blue jacket over an orange t-shirt with blue shorts and ankle high socks. The boy doesn't so much as glance away from his game as he steps onto the dock.

"Campers, this is Tyke. He's a reclusive shut in gamer with no social skills or outdoors experience. Honestly, I don't expect much. I just thought it'd be funny," Chris explains as he swipes the game away.

"Hey dude! Not cool," Tyke says as he tries to grab it.

Chris tosses it over Tyke's head and straight into the water.

"Nooooo! My save files!" Tyke cries out in disappointment.

"I understand that," Helen says as she looks where her phone went in the water.

Tyke looks her way and freezes.

"Did I say something wrong?" She asks nervously.

Tyke wets his pants and Chris bursts into laughter.

"Oh yeah! And he does that any time girls frighten him…which is constantly," Chris says cheerfully.

"I-I have a weak bladder man!" Tyke yells in defense as he covers the wet spot.

"Ew. That's gross," Helen says in disgust as she steps away from Tyke.

Wanda plugs her nose.

"I can smell it from over here," she says in annoyance.

"No. That was me actually," Miguel admits calmly.

Everyone looks at him in disgust and steps away.

"What? I'm already done," he says as he shrugs and crosses his arms as if it's no big deal.

The next boat pulls up to the dock and drops off a teenager with long blonde hair that goes halfway down his back and a cross necklace around his neck. He's wearing a black long sleeve button up shirt with tan pants. He smiles kindly and folds his hands together.

"Thank you for allowing me to reach the island without trouble. Please allow the other competitors to have such good fortune as well. Amen," the teenager says.

"Heh. Only weirdos talk to themselves," Miguel says with a judgemental eye roll.

"Campers, this is Nicholas. He's a kind and gentle soul raised by a Christian orphanage. He's known to be selfless, well spoken, and overall nice. Do me a favor and try to vote him off quickly," Chris says.

Nicholas chuckles and shrugs.

"I only hope that somehow we can all get what we want in the end," Nicholas says.

"We can't all get 5 million dollars," Helen says dismissively.

"No, I suppose not. There must be a reason you want the money however. I hope our time on the island can give you what you need to get what you want," Nicholas explains.

Helen clicks her tongue distrustingly as Nicholas walks over with the others.

"Fist bump bro?" Timothy asks.

Nicholas smiles and bumps Timothy's fist.

"Much obliged," Nicholas says kindly.

The next boat pulls up and drops off a teenage guy with a white jacket with black lightning bolts on it. He's got Latino skin and brown hair that's shaved on the sides and back. He's got a piercing in his lip and black pants on. When he gets off the boat he stretches and yawns.

"Man, what a smooth ride," the guy says in relaxation.

"Well hopefully you got your beauty sleep because that'll probably be the last time you sleep like that until the end of the show," Chris says.

"...Aren't you a little old to be out here? I thought it was teens only," Ken says.

"Uh dude, I'm Chris McLain…host of the show…that you're on right now," Chris says.

"Oh my bad man. You just look twenty years younger on TV…or maybe thirty," the guy says.

Chris looks aggravated as the other campers laugh.

"Anyways, this is Ken. He's a street performer who thinks he has what it takes to conquer total drama. Will that confidence last I wonder," Chris asks tauntingly.

Ken and Chris shoot each other competitive looks.

"A street performer? Like a guy who plays guitar on the side of the road?" Wanda asks.

"Nah. I do beatboxing and break dancing," Ken says.

"Prove it," Makayla says.

Ken drops and breaks out a few moves before sliding back to a stand with ease.

"Sick moves brosive," Timothy says as he rushes over and fist bumps Ken.

"Oh look! Another camper," Chris says distractingly as another boat pulls up to the dock.

A teenage girl gets off with a confident smile. She's got short black hair and dark makeup on her face. She's wearing a black shirt with an anarchy symbol and a black leather jacket over it that has sharp spikes on the shoulders. She's wearing a pair of black pants with black leather boots and a pair of fingerless black gloves on her hands. She looks at August, winks, makes a finger gun at her, and fires. Cream shakes like a leaf and quickly retreats back into August's hat.

"Whoa. She looks scary," Lissa says.

"Campers, this is Brandy. She's a member of a popular biker gang in the area. Don't worry, I was assured she doesn't bite…much," Chris says.

Brandy walks right over to August and pulls her into a one armed hug.

"I think I'm gonna have some real fun here," she says confidently.

August gulps looks terrified. Another boat pulls up to the dock and a muscular teenage guy with short black hair styled into a mohawk gets off and flexes with a confident smile. He's wearing a black shirt that has a spider on a spiderweb design on his left shoulder with blue jeans and a necklace around his neck with a tiny jar on it.

"And so the strongest competitor on the island arrives," he says confidently.

"Strongest huh?" Makayla asks with an eye roll.

"Well yeah. Nobody here can stand head to head with this," he says confidently.
