"Ace, my Devil Cake." said joker walking into the small apartment. He looked around to spot her in the loft of their bed climbing up to see her asleep admiring before kissing her lips then her face down to her neck. "What?" said Acelynn in tired voice. "Did you take more than one cup of tea last night?" said Joker. "I wasnt the one who let Harley come over for another attempt to kill Batman." said Acelynn. "You're lucky that i love you." said Joker. "We both know we put up with each other." said Acelynn sitting up showing her bra. "I love it when you tease me. Maybe my boys can wait." said Joker looking at her standing up. "Werent you the one who always says that you cant have any distractions." said Acelynn going down the steps to the tiny kitchen. "Only if i have a really bad day or miss my girl." said Joker following her. He wrapped his arms around her nuzzling his face into her shoulder swaying her side-to-side getting a kiss but stopped to see one of the goons peeking in. "What? WHAT?!" said Joker looking at her then turned to see one of his men. "Uh . . . we got problem." said the henchmen looking at joker and not Acelynn. "Cant have a break with my woman around here." said Joker taking his jacket off to cover Acelynn. He knew it was big on her, but it was just enough to make every man that works with him know who she is. "Daddy will be right back." he says walking over to shove him out slamming the door shut. Acelynn went to the tiny closet to put an outfit on to pick up her check from work. She wrote a note for joker letting her know where she is knowing hell tear Gotham apart to find her. Climbing out of the fire escape Acelynn took her route to get to the bank looking for any of Joker's men following her or anyone trying to do something. Once she got there she saw a man in a trench coat going in before her taking a seat at the bench pulling out the newspaper from his coat. Acelynn went over greeting her employee who was behind the desk smiling at her while she took out her wallet. "Hows things going here?" said Acelynn. "Same as always but we just started doing deposits which are all inside the safe. How are you after the whole Joker thing three months ago?" said the man getting some papers done. "Let me go grab your check from the back." said the man getting up leaving her waiting in line. She looked around waiting patiently spotting the man from before going around the desk making one of her employees to step in from of him.
"You cant be here sir." said the woman only to get ray pointed at her freezing into a statue making everyone freak out. "Back against the wall and stay out of my way." said the man taking off his coat and hat to reveal himself to be Mr. Freeze. Acelynn did so with everyone else seeing him use his ray gun to freeze the safe door and shatter into pieces like glass. "Thats new." said Acelynn. "New experiment that im testing out." said Mr. Freeze as Batman, Robin, and Batgirl came in. Stay where you are or i drop my Storm Bombs." said Mr. Freeze holding one in hands ready to hit the button. Acelynn watched Batman throw one of is Bat-arang to knock it out his hand with Batgirl using her gymnastics to flip over to catch it with Robin helping everyone get out. She slowly moved over to the back exit that was close to her not taking her eyes off of Mr. Freeze using his ray gun to blast Batman and his sidekicks. Mr. Freeze took his final shot to hit Batman but missed and deflected off by a metal lamp shade that broke off hitting Acelynn before Robin could get to her. Acelynn grunted from the blast t the gut with Robin rushing to her side feeling her body temperature getting low fast. She can feel her body getting colder by every passing second until she cant move feeling like falling asleep. "NO. NO. NO! Batman. Batgirl. We got a problem." said Robin seeing her body being covered by a thick layer of frost. "OH no." said Batgirl seeing this. She then heard Batman having trouble with Mr. Freez and looked at a now frozen Acelynn going back to take the ray gun after it was knock away trying find a reverse switch or something to help her. Once Mr. Freeze was defeated Batman went over to Acelynn with Robin and Batgirl back away from her frozen body to see if he can any sign of life from her. He used his thermal scanner seeing very little heat signature disappearing hearing the police siren coming. "What are we gonna do?" said Batgirl looking at him then at Acelynn. "We gonna have to tell your father that she needs to be at Dr. Strange's lab to find a way to reverse this." said Batman. "What about Joker? We all know his obsession with her." said Robin. "For her safety. We can fake her death until we know that she's alive. Hopefully he moves on." said Batman hearing the police coming in with Gordan coming to look at the scene.
After a long talk about what to do and carefully moving Acelynn's body Gordan wrote down his report while the heroes left to move on with their personal lives. Joker was done setting his plan up for Batman when he heard Acelynn's name on the Gotham news from the tv. 'In a tragic turn of events Acelynn Smith was found frozen from an attempt bank robbery by Mr. Freeze. We have to lead of where she will be taken but hope that all is goes well for her.' said the newsmen before the tv explode after Joker shot it. "Someone is going to pay!" said Joker angrily. "Puddin is ev-" "GET OUT!" Joker screamed making her squeak in fear and fled with the hyenas. Joker went to their hidden apartment to be left alone once he sent his men out. He went to the closet looking at the clothes he got for her feeling and smell them until he reached his coat that he gave to her before she left. "I will have you back. no matter how long it will take and have anyone responsible suffer painfully for it." said Joker leaving the place with his spare coat in his hand. over time Joker got his revenge on Batman by torturing his sidekicks and Gordan while doing his own secret project and visiting Acelynn who was in incubator-like tube keeping her body preserved. Everyone soon forgot about her except for him and the others wanting to the answers they need to know. Joker knew that he wasnt to last or ever know when Acelynn will ever come back and kept on using Harley for his advantage as always until she left him. Still he's not going to quit doing what he does best which is making chaos spread in Gotham with a bloody smile.
