6:00 AM, Jamiroquai City

As the sun brightly shined on the window, awakening Aiya from her slumber, and casting a warm glow across her room.

The morning clock rang, but the sleepy Aiya stayed in bed for a moment longer. Nonetheless, she got up and slipped into her cat slippers for her normal morning routine. She wasn't in a hurry but she knew that today was her first day at school, or at least, her first day at a place she'd never been to.

She walked out of her room, her baggy eyes still sleepy but she still dragged herself to the bathroom. Like every morning, she showered and brushed her teeth. She then gets dressed in her school uniform, adorned with hearts on the collars.

After she was done with her morning routine, she began to walk downstair as she greeted her dad sitting in the living room. "Hey, Dad."

"Oh hey!" Her father let out a smile as soon as he saw Aiya entering the kitchen. "How was the sleep, dear?"

"It was... nice." Aiya mumbled to herself.

"What? I can't hear you." Her dad perked up his ears to listen clearly.

"Like I said." Aiya continued to walk downstair and into the kitchen as she spoke. "It was fine."

"Good to hear." Her dad then took out his newspaper and read it like normal. "Say, isn't it your day?"

"I know, Dad." She spoke out as she cracked eggshells in the kitchen. "It's gonna be exhausting."

"Don't be so worried." He spoke up, attempting to comfort Aiya. "It's just like your old school."

"I'm not worried at all, Dad," Aiya replied to him. The searing heat of the pan combined with her tone creates a warm atmosphere as she answers. "It's just that... I miss home."

"Same here, kiddo." Her dad tried to comfort her yet again. "But hey, at least your old man is here here. Nothing to worry about."

"You're right." Aiya chuckled. "You will always be here for me."

As she was frying the eggs, the stove began to sputter and stopped all of a sudden. Puzzled, she looked down and it was true to what she was thinking: It had run out of gas.

She sighed in frustration. Suddenly, her frustration seemed to be transformed as the air around her seemed to vibrate with otherworldly energy, signaling the arrival of her newly obtained power.

"「Plastic Love」." She murmured to herself, as a strange humanoid appeared behind her. Its left palm began to glow an emanating glow. The glow intensified as it touched the still-sunny eggs in the pan.

In an instant, the eggs began to sizzle and crackled under the glow. The golden yolks and whites transformed into perfectly fried eggs. The aroma of the freshly cooked eggs filled the kitchen, and she also felt some sort of relief.

"Aiya, what did you say?" Her dad heard her murmuring something from within the kitchen. "And do you feel something?"

"It must have been the wind, Dad." Aiya said quickly, as her Stand disappeared into thin air. She then carefully placed the fried eggs onto two plates - one for herself and one for her dad.

"Oh, and Dad, we're out of gas." She added, letting him know about the empty tank.

"Ah, thanks for the reminder!" He replied with a smile. "I completely forgot about that!"

"Wait..." Her dad's face was filled with confusion as he tried to ask her a question. "If the stove is out of gas, then how did you-"

"Oh, I must have forgotten to check the gas level before cooking." Aiya quickly replied as she shrugged, cutting off his question.

"Ah, I see." Her dad set his newspaper aside and walked into the kitchen before settling down on a chair. "Well then, let's dig in! I'm hungry!"

The morning went by nicely, as Aiya and her dad ate their breakfast. The soft and tender yolk melted, creating a pleasing aroma.

After breakfast, as she began packing her bag with books, her excitement for the first day at her new school was overshadowed by a sense of worry.

Aiya and her dad were at the entrance of their house, preparing to part ways for the day.

"Remember kiddo." He said as he smooched her on the forehead. "If there's anything wrong, just tell me."

"Dad!" Aiya flushed. She then tries to swat her head to wipe away the kiss. "I'll be fine! I can handle myself. I'm not a kid anymore!"

Her dad chuckled. "Alrighty kiddo."

They waved hands to each other, as Aiya walked away. Her dad began to sob lightly, tears going down his cheeks. "Kids... They grow up so fast."

She walked to the new school, missing her home in Kanto. Memories flooded back, but she pushed them away. She was determined to make friends and start anew. Doubt and fear crept in as she saw the school gates, but she shook them off. This was a chance for a new beginning. Little did she know, this path would alter her life forever.

Lost in the memories of her old school, she didn't see a boy coming her way. They both crashed with each other, their books and belongings scattered in the schoolyard.

The male student's voice trembled with nervousness as he uttered a quick "Sorry!" He scrambled to pick up his books, as well as Aiya's, before offering them to her.

"Thanks," Aiya replied in a gentle tone, accepting the books from him. "You didn't need to rush like that."

"I-I know, I'm sorry!" He stuttered as his face was turning slightly pink.

Curiosity arose inside of her. She couldn't help but ask him as she looked at his flustered face. "Is something on your mind? You seem very nervous-"

Suddenly, her expression changed. The boy she was talking to was Lobo Ryushi; the same boy who had been in the news two weeks ago for allegedly killing his parents without any evidence. He had a bad reputation at school, with rumors and suspicions swirling around him due to the incident.

"How could someone like that be capable of such a heinous act?" Aiya wondered to herself, lost in thought.

The boy's voice, Lobo Ryushi's voice, startled her back to the present. "Hey?" He said, trying to continue their conversation. But as the words left his mouth, the school bell rang loudly, interrupting them abruptly. He didn't get the chance to finish his apology before they were both late to class.

As the young boy rushed off to his classroom, Aiya noticed that he had left a notebook behind. She quickly gathered her books and belongings into her bag before chasing after him.

"WAIT, YOU FORGOT THIS!" She shouted, hoping he would hear her. However, he was already too far ahead and didn't seem to notice. Sighing, Aiya headed into the school, determined to return the book to him after class.

Entering the school, Aiya couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty and unease that always seemed to linger in the air. Regardless, she knew that she had to find that boy and give him back his notebook. She took out a small note to find her class. Aiya tends to forget a lot of small details, so she always carries a small note with her.

"Class 5A... Second Floor..." She muttered to herself as she looked at the note. After scanning the school for a while, she finally found her class.

"There it is." She said with relief. As she opened the door, she was met with a room full of curious eyes.

The teacher, who had been in the middle of writing on the chalkboard, turned to face Aiya with a sharp look. She nervously swallowed as their eyes met. As soon as Aiya entered the classroom, all eyes were on her. The teacher stopped writing and turned to face her with an intense gaze. Aiya couldn't help but gulp under the pressure.

With an unsettling smile, the teacher acknowledged Aiya's arrival. "We were just about to begin." She grumbled loudly, "Being here on time helps us all get the most out of what we're doing together."

"Class, may I introduce to you." The teacher turned her back to the chalkboard and looked at the class. "This is Aiya Aizawa. A transfer student from Queen High School."

The class began to fall into a whispering state. Every student was talking about Aiya. Then, a loud thud shut the class down. It was the ruler of the teacher. She slammed it on her table in an attempt to shut the class. Aiya got shaken.

"Now then," The teacher's gaze fell upon Aiya. "can we trust you to be more mindful in the future?"

"Oops, sorry teacher." Aiya apologized for arriving late to class.

"I despise being addressed like that." The instructor's tone was icy as she slammed her ruler down on the desk again. "I prefer to be called Mrs. Yamaka."

"Of course, Mrs. Yamaka. My apologies." Aiya was taken aback by the force of the ruler hitting the desk.

"Now then." Mrs. Yamaka looked around the classroom trying to pick a seat for her. "You'll be next to... Lobo Ryushi."

Her face became pale. Was it fate that led to them meeting and sitting next to each other? Or was it simply just a coincidence?

Nonetheless, she decided to accept it and walked to her seat.

"Hey," He said, trying to chat with her. "Sorry about what happened this morning." Aiya shrugged it off, saying it was just an accident.

"It's...nice to meet you," Lobo stuttered, feeling his face flush as he introduced himself. "My name is Lobo Ryushi."

Aiya nodded slightly, her smile widening. "It's nice to meet you too." She introduced herself as Aiya Aizawa as she stood down on her table.

She looked at him as she lost in her thoughts again. He seemed so... kind. Yet, there was something about him that didn't sit right with her.

She knew that this was only the beginning of her story. Whether it was a curse or blessing, it was up to her to decide for herself. Her own story.

The gentle hum of silence filled the classroom as students bent over their textbooks, scribbling notes and solving equations. Mrs. Yamaka can be seen writing on the chalkboard, each stroke is more powerful than the last. Suddenly, a loud snore echoed through the room, breaking the peaceful atmosphere. Mrs. Yamaka's eyes snapped to the culprit - Lobo, slumped in his chair with his head tilted back and mouth wide open.

"Mr. Lobo!" Mrs. Yamaka's yelled out, her voice cutting through the buzz of activity. Lobo jerked awake, his confusion evident as he locked eyes with his teacher.

"Yes?" he mumbled groggily, still trying to shake off sleep.

"Can you tell me," Mrs. Yamaka continued, her tone icy, "how glass can be formed from sand? If you cannot answer, you'll stand for the rest of the day as a punishment for sleeping in my class."

Lobo scratched his head, his mind foggy from being rudely awakened. But before he could even attempt to answer, Aiya raised her hand and spoke up.

"Mrs. Yamaka, may I?" she asked confidently. "I'll answer for him."

Lobo looked at Aiya with gratitude and relief. "You sure?" he whispered.

But before he could thank her properly, Mrs. Yamaka's words cut through the air like knives.

"Thank you Aiya, but do you feel the need to protect him?" She sneered, looking at both Lobo and Aiya as if to mock them. "But, carry on with your answer."

"You don't need to do this-" Lobo opened his mouth to protest but was cut off by Aiya's confident reply.

"How glass can be formed from sand is simple," She explained. "By melting sand at high heat, it dissolves into a liquid state and when cooled, becomes glass."

Mrs. Yamaka's smile began to twist into a scowl, as she realized that Aiya had not only answered the question correctly, but also exposed her own bias for the unfair treatment of Lobo. Lobo couldn't help but feel grateful for Aiya's quick thinking and support in saving him from more embarrassment.

"Nice work, Aiya. You're showing more potential than him," Mrs. Yamaka praised Aiya before turning her attention to Lobo. "And as for you, Lobo, if you ever fall asleep in my class again, I will have to remove you from the lesson!" Mrs Yamaka continued her lesson as Aiya stood down.

Lobo let out a groan before taking his seat and giving a grateful look towards Aiya. "Thanks for helping me out, Aiya."

"No problem!" Aiya smiled at him, her smile was filled with joy. "It's what friends do after all."

8:30 AM, Class 5A

The school bell rang, indicating that it was the start of a recess.

"Alright class," Mrs. Yamaka spoke out. "I hope you enjoy your break." She'd walk out of the class as soon as the bell went off.

Aiya's eyes followed Lobo as he exited the classroom, his dark hair brushing against his shoulders. She hurried to catch up to him, calling out his name.

"Hey!" Aiya said breathlessly, holding out a small notebook she had picked up from the floor. "You dropped this!"

"Ah! Thanks!" Lobo exclaimed, taking back it with a grateful smile, "I was wondering where it went." He held the notebook close to his chest, his fingers caressing the worn cover lovingly. "This thing means a lot to me."

"Is it something like..." Aiya couldn't help but chuckle mid her sentence. "... your diary?"

Lobo blushed, before speaking up. "Well, I guess you could say it is."

"Oh... It's a memento from my parents," He said, his voice heavy with sorrow. "I... was..." He hesitated, the words catching in his throat. "... the one who killed them."

"I see..." Aiya's voice was soft with a hint of sympathy but curiosity within her rose. "What happened?"

"Two weeks ago... January 25th... a bright light..." Lobo's voice trembled with uncertainty. "All I remember is a wolf... killing... and now, it's haunting me..."

"25th January...?" Aiya remembered the date clearly as if it had happened yesterday. "I think I was connected too."

"Huh?" Lobo is surprised at Aiya's words. "What do you mean?"

"I too remember some sort of bright light, then..." Aiya tries to recall her past. "I remember awakening some sort of 'power' but nothing else besides that."

Sensing that Lobo was uneasy with his past, she decided to cheer him up, touching his face with her hand, soothing him more.

"Don't worry Lobo." Aiya's voice dripped with sympathy. "I also have the same ability."

Suddenly, Lobo's stomach began to growl along with hers. She invited him to go with her to the cafeteria together. "Do you wanna... eat together?"

Lobo's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Why? Why do you want to...?"

"Because... I just want to see you smile," Aiya said softly, her fingers gently touching Lobo's as if trying to anchor him to the moment. "There's nothing more precious on this planet than a simple smile."

Lobo's eyes widened, his breath catching in his throat as he felt the warmth of her touch. It was the use of her 'Plastic Love' that she had unconsciously been using to soothe Lobo's feelings. The intensity of her words sank in, leaving him momentarily speechless.

Aiya couldn't resist teasing him when she saw tears glistening in his eyes. "Come on, don't cry. Be manly!"

Despite his tears, Lobo let out a laugh and wiped them away with the back of his hand. "It's just that..." His voice cracked slightly. "I never had any real friends to begin with... so you being my friend..."

Without hesitation, Aiya wrapped her arms around Lobo in a warm hug. "Don't worry, I'll be your friend forever."

As she held him, she could hear the whispers and gossip quickly spreading around the classroom.

"Wait, Lobo got a girlfriend?!"

"Wait what?! Who is she?!"

"Isn't she just a new transfer student?!"

Aiya couldn't help but laugh at the reactions as she held Lobo's hands and walked toward the cafeteria.
