Last time, the children made a brave yet risky attempt at a trade for their parents. Piedmon refused for he wanted all the stones found first. The children soon found themselves at a castle where many Gekomon and Otamamon live. These digimon were actually close friends with Mason's mother, and it now has him thinking he's a prince of some sort. Before the children can begin their search for the next stone, Machinedramon appeared with the intention to destroy everything.

Mason the Frog Prince
The kids were glad they found some friends of Mimi to help them, but now they found themselves in trouble. Machinedramon showed up with every intention to destroy the place.
"I might spare one of you to tell me what you did with the stone you took, so I'll return with two of them." Machinedramon said.
"Not happening. Let's take him down." Musuko said as he and Veemon got ready to fight.
"Giga Cannon!" Machinedramon attacked before any of them could. He fired his cannons right at the kids, but they all jumped out of the way as the blast hit the castle instead.
"Oh no! Our beloved castle!" Gekomon cried.
"Prince Mason, please do something!" Otamamon pleaded.
"No worries. As your prince, I'll take care of this." Mason claimed, but he was really letting the whole prince thing go to his head.
"I'm starting to think the apple didn't fall too far from the tree." Natalie said with annoyance.
"Now, I'm going to..." "YEEEEEEAAAAAAAWWW!"
"ShogunGekomon!" Gekomon called with all of them wondering what that was about. Just then, a powerful sound wave blasted through the place and smashed right against Machinedramon. That was unexpected. Just then, ShogunGekomon busted right out and he looked like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
"He doesn't look so good." Musuko said.
"How dare you! Not only did you wake me up, but you are also wrecking my castle!" ShogunGekomon called. In his moment of rage, he actually charged right at Machinedramon.
"He really is cranky when he wakes up!" Benson said as they all thought what he was doing was crazy. ShogunGekomon smashed against Machinedramon like a football player, but Machinedramon easily knocked him off.
"Is that all you got, you inflated balloon?" Machinedramon taunted.
"How about this?!" ShogunGekomon called as he unleashed another powerful sound wave and blasted Machinedramon.
"Let's get in there and join this fight." Veemon said.
"Can't let the frog have all the fun." Musuko said.
"Wait!" Gekomon called. "You came here looking for some mysterious power, is that right? Well, we might know of one place to find it."
"You do?" Koji said.
"In that case, we should go. ShogunGekomon might be able to buy us some time. He can keep Machinedramon busy." Gatomon said.
"She's right. We need to go while we can." Mason said. "Your prince orders you to take us to this power."
"You're really pushing it, Mason." Natalie warned as they all made a run for it. As they hurried out through the castle, Machinedramon noticed them escaping.
"You won't escape from me." Machinedramon said as he attempted to go after them.
"I'm not done with you!" ShogunGekomon called as he kept trying to fight, but Machinedramon knocked him down.
"Don't pick a fight you can't win." Machinedramon warned. ShogunGekomon might be one tough frog, but how long can he last before he blows up like a balloon.

The Digidestined
Thanks to Gekomon and Otamamon, the kids were able to escape from Machinedramon and went into the forest. Hopefully, the power Gekomon and Otamamon could be taking them to really is the stone.
"Should we have really left ShogunGekomon like that?" Koji asked.
"Don't worry about him. Lord ShogunGekomon won't back down, not even to the likes of the Dark Masters." Gekomon claimed. "He can hold his own."
"That might be true, but he'll still be in great danger." Gatomon said. "Not only is Machinedramon powerful, but he's at a higher level than ShogunGekomon. He might not win, but let's hope he can get out in one piece."
"So where is the power you were telling us about?" Veemon asked.
"It's through the forest." Otamamon said.
"Through these trees lay an ancient fortress that has been abandoned for years." Gekomon said. "There was a time where this place was all just a wasteland. Then one day, this great and powerful digimon arrived and brought life to this place. They say that somewhere in that forest is the same sort of power that digimon used."
"You guys think it could really be one of the stone crests?" Patamon questioned.
"The only way to find out is to get to that abandoned fortress." Natalie suggested. They all agreed to that, but that was when they heard a large explosion coming from the castle. That had them all worried because there was no way that could have been ShogunGekomon.

The Castle
ShogunGekomon put up a good fight, but it just wasn't good enough. Machinedramon was just too strong for him.
"I could destroy you now, but I've wasted enough of my time. I need to get the next stone before those kids do." Machinedramon claimed as he got moving.
"Wait..." ShogunGekomon said as he tried to keep fighting.
"Enough of this." Machinedramon claimed as he has ran out of patience. He powered his cannons and unleashed another blast and it completely destroyed ShogunGekomon. Now nothing can stop him from getting the stone and maybe destroying the kids.

The Kids
"I didn't like the sound of that. We need to pick up the pace." Musuko said.
"Biyomon, you better digivolve. We don't have time to lose, so we'll get there faster with Garudamon." Natalie said.
"Right." Biyomon agreed to that. She digivolved all the way to Garudamon and carried them all through the forest, but Machinedramon spotted them. When this machine has something in its sights, it tends to destroy it. As for the kids, Garudamon carried them through the sky to find the fortress.
"Down there! That's it right there!" Gekomon called. They all looked down and saw an abandoned fortress just like Gekomon said. The next stone is down there somewhere and they have to find it.
"Garudamon, take us down." Natalie said. Garudamon flew straight down and landed just outside the fortress.
"What are we waiting for? We need to get in there and get the stone." Mason said.
"We don't even know if this is the right place." Benson said.
"It has to be." Musuko said.
"Even if it, we need to do something about Machinedramon." Natalie said. "He'll blow this place to pieces to find that stone."
"Good point." Musuko said. "Benson and Mason, you two go on in and find the stone. Koji, Natalie, and I will hold off Machinedramon if he makes it here."
"Got it. Be careful. He's a loving machine of destruction." Benson said as they all hurried inside.
"Wait for us, Prince Mason. We can help you search." Gekomon said as he and Otamamon hurried after them.
"Now let's get ready for that big bad machine." Musuko said with them getting prepared.
"Gatomon digivolve to...Angewomon!"
"Garudamon digivolve to...Phoenixmon!"
"Veemon warp digivolve to...UlforceVeedramon!"

Benson and Mason
As the others got ready for the fight with Machinedramon, Mason and the others took a look around the fortress to try and find the stone.
"This place is huge. If the stone is really here, how are we going to find it?" Mason said.
"I'm sorry, Prince Mason." Gekomon said. "We've heard tales of a power inside this fortress, but we don't know how true it really is."
"No worries." Mason said as he was getting a big head from the title. "As your prince, I will do everything I can to find that stone. I say that we split-up and go in different directions and cover more ground."
"You're starting to get annoying with the this prince thing going to your head, but that's not a bad idea." Benson admitted. "We need to find that stone before Machinedramon shows. You head down one hall, I'll go down this one." He claimed with him and Patamon hurrying down the hall.
"We'll go looking to, Prince Mason." Otamamon said.
"We'll let you know if we find anything." Gekomon claimed.
"Thank you, my royal subjects." Mason said as the two hurried off. Mason is really liking the fact that they considered him a prince, but even Palmon isn't sure she likes Mason acting this way.
"Mason... You know you're not a real prince, right?" Palmon questioned.
"They seem to think that I am." Mason said.
"Only because of who your mother is. Even if you are treated like a prince here, don't you think you're letting all of it go to your head?" Palmon asked.
"What do you mean? I'm just acting high and mighty." Mason said.
"Isn't that a bad thing?" Palmon questioned. "Then again, you do act silly. However, you do get serious when the time comes. I'm sure everything will be just fine. Now let's fine that stone." Palmon took off with Mason following her. Hopefully, Mason does get serious when the time comes.

Machinedramon
As for Machinedramon, he just matched his way through the forest like there was nothing in his way. He just marched along until he saw the fortress, as well as those who stand against him.
"There you are." Machinedramon said.
"What took you so long?" Musuko said. "You're as big as a house, but you're as slow as a turtle."
"Well, you're demise will certainly be quick." Machinedramon claimed. "I take it the rest are inside, as is the stone."
"Too bad you won't be getting it." UlforceVeedramon said. The other s were ready to fight, but there was something bugging Koji.
"Wait! What about ShogunGekomon?! What happened to him?!" Koji called as he had to know.
"You mean the big frog? He put up a good fight, but I dissected him. He's gone." Machinedramon admitted like it meant nothing to him. It might have meant nothing to him, but the others were shocked to hear that.
"He's gone? You mean you..." Natalie said as she couldn't believe it.
"Oh no... All the poor Gekomon and Otamamon will be..." Koji said as he was about to cry for them. As for Musuko, he was just angry.
"Take him down!" Musuko called.
"It will be our pleasure!" UlforceVeedramon claimed as he flew right at him with his sword. UlforceVeedramon tried attacking, but Machinedramon called as he took his claw and swatted him like he was just a big.
"Celestial Arrow!" Angewomon fired an arrow, but it just bounced off him.
"Drats! I don't have enough power!" Angewomon said. Phoenixmon tried as she flew at him and smashed her claws against him, but Machinedramon powered his cannons and blasted her away. This wasn't looking good for them at all.

Mason
As for Mason, he and Palmon could feel the whole place shake from all the fighting outside.
"What's going on out there?" Mason questioned.
"It has to be Machinedramon. We better find the stone fast." Palmon said. Just then, Mason noticed a bright green light coming from just around the corner.
"What is that?" Mason questioned. Maybe he already found it.
...
Next time, Machinedramon makes an attempt to take the next stone, but Mason won't let him have it. He makes a brave stand, and could prove he has the qualities to be a prince.
