Indiana Jones: "How did I end up here?...Of course, one morning I was teaching at the university, and those useless people preferred to watch the return of the Apollo 11 astronauts...Now, to convince the daughter of an old friend of mine, I'm involved in the plan of a Nazi lunatic, who intends to travel to the past and assassinate Hitler, so that he can proclaim himself the Führer."

Indy is at an airport on a stormy night, guarded by the remaining Nazi soldiers, led by Jürgen Voller, who thanks (not exactly in a good way) to Indy, found the Dial of Destiny built by Archimedes, an object with which he will travel to 1939.

Indiana Jones: "On this trip I have lost a great friend on the high seas, and I have had to endure a child who is nothing more than a bum with no future...I would only like to see her once, my ex-wife, Marion."

The plane prepares for takeoff, in the middle of the darkness of the night and storm, the plane takes off and rises to the heights, after a while, Voller visualizes... the crack, through which the Dial will take them to the past, however, they notice that the Dial begins to spin out of control.

Jürgen Voller: "What is this, what is happening?".

Indy sees through the windows of the plane what is happening... a kind of failure... in reality.

Indiana Jones: "Voller, it seems that there was a failure in your calculations, we are not going to 1939."

Jorgen begins to worry, as if that were not enough, the crack... seems to be fading away.

Jürgen Voller: "No, no, no... Bleib auf Kurs!".

The crack disappears completely, instead...a yellow flash hits reality...and blinds everyone...the plane has traveled in time!...but not to the past...but to...many years...in the future, then the plane has a crash landing.

Elsewhere...

Istanbul...

On this night, aboard a speedboat, three thieves prepare to loot the Istanbul museum, these are; Chloe Frazer, Harry Flynn...and Nathan Drake.

Nathan Drake: "Are you ready for this?"

Harry Flynn: "I'd feel better with a gun."

Nathan Drake: "No need."

Harry Flynn: "Just in case, that's all."

Nathan Drake: "Flynn, they're just museum guards, and we know their patrol itineraries...relax."

Harry Flynn: "Relax...ha, ha...relax?...have you been in a Turkish jail, mate?...if they catch us, they'll lock us up and get rid of the damn key, you realize that...don't you?"

Nathan Drake: "A lot more than you do."

Harry Flynn: "Well, maybe you like that stuff, but I don't, we can't afford mistakes."

Nathan Drake: "Yeah, and that's how it will be."

So, Chloe leaves the boat right where they need to go.

Chloe: "We're here."

It's some underground channels that lead to a sewer system, after planning everything, the group splits up, Nate and Flynn will enter the museum and Chloe will help them with the lights, then see them on the other side with the getaway vehicle. After walking through corridors, climbing walls, climbing stairs and looking for a valve, Nate and Flynn arrived at the top of the museum.

Through a grate, Nate and Flynn spot the guards.

Nathan Drake: "Okay, now there should be a door right around here, that's our access point... once we get in, we follow the plan, got it?"

Harry Flynn: "Tell me you didn't miss this."

Nathan Drake: "Heh heh, I'm here, aren't I?".

After making their way through a courtyard taking out guards, bypassing an alarmed door, taking out more guards, climbing walls, taking out more guards with tranquilizer guns, climbing the roof, jumping off the roof, Chloe manages to turn off the lights in the tower, finally...Nate and Flynn are able to enter the tower.

Harry Flynn: "Ladies first."

Nathan Drake: "Ha, ha...how cute."

This is where the group is found, the Mongolian oil lamp. It is locked in a glass shelf with an alarm.

Harry Flynn: "Oh, there it is."

Nathan Drake: "Yeah, there's the alarm, until we open the display case, that thing will go off just by touching the glass."

Luckily, Flynn has some lockpicks.

Harry Flynn: "Easy there, buddy."

So they open the shelf without any problems.

Harry Flynn: "Voila."

Nathan Drake: "Okay..."

Nate picks up the lamp and inspects it.

Harry Flynn: "Are you sure this is the right one?"

Nathan Drake: "I think there's only one way to find out... Sorry, Marco."

Without hesitation, Nate smashes the lamp, and from the pieces appears the map that supposedly leads to the treasure of Marco Polo's lost fleet. Unfortunately for him, the map contains nothing.

Nathan Drake: "Shit."

Harry Flynn: "Well, this is the disappointment of the year...is this all?...it's useless!"

However, Drake inspects the remains of the lamp, the smell seems...peculiar to him.

Nathan Drake: "'The light of the great Khan'...wait a minute..."

Harry Flynn: "What are you doing?"

Nathan Drake: "It's resin, it will burn."

Harry Flynn: "So?"

Nathan Drake: "Give me your lighter."

Harry Flynn: "Do you think it's a good idea to do that here?"

Nathan Drake: "Come on..."

Nate lights the remains on fire...it emits a blue flame!...now they can read what the map says, the engraving is also blue.

Harry Flynn: "Wow."

Nathan Drake: "Let me see...'a great tide swept our ships away, to the remote lands of Java'..."

Harry Flynn: "Looks like they were victims of a Tsunami."

Nathan Drake: "Yeah, off the east coast of Borneo."

Harry Flynn: "Oh, great...that narrows it down."

Nathan Drake: "Look...this mountain has to be the closest point to where they ran aground, if we find the mountain, we can find the ships too."

Harry Flynn: "Yeah, well done mate."

Nathan Drake: "Wait, there's more...'like the ocean wanted to get rid of the terrible cargo we were carrying from Sham-bah-lah, the curse of Cintamani.'"

Harry Flynn: "Does this mean anything to you?"

Nathan Drake: "Shambhala... Oh my God, Flynn."

Harry Flynn: "What?"

Nathan Drake: "Marco Polo found Shambhala."

Flynn doesn't understand.

Nathan Drake: "Shangri-La."

Harry Flynn: "Just kidding."

Nathan Drake: "If they had the Cintamani Stone, it might still be there."

Harry Flynn: "This is all fascinating, but we have to go."

Nathan Drake: "Yeah, I'm following you."

Nate erases the evidence, but to his surprise... Flynn leaves him behind, because after climbing up the way they entered, Flynn doesn't give him the rope.

Nathan Drake: "What the hell are you doing?"

Harry Flynn: "I'm sorry, buddy, but this is where we part ways."

Nathan Drake: "Wait Flynn, we had a plan."

Harry Flynn: "No, you had a plan, but it turns out I had another one."

Nathan Drake: "Come on, throw me the rope, don't be stupid."

Harry Flynn: "Oh, yeah... you're the mastermind, but you overlooked one little detail."

Flynn pulls out a gun and points it at Nate.

Harry Flynn: "Right, buddy?"

Nathan Drake: "And what are you going to do, shoot me?"

Harry Flynn: "No, I'm just going to get you out of the way for a while."

Flynn shoots the glass, setting off the alarm.

Nathan Drake: "Shit!"

Harry Flynn: "You think I didn't know about the ships from the beginning? A kid would have figured that out."

Nathan Drake: "Flynn, listen..."

Harry Flynn: "Face it, genius, you've been fooled."

Flynn leaves Drake behind, giving the guards an advantage, now Drake has to get out of there at full speed while evading and taking down the guards, after passing through the underground channel, Drake comes to the surface... but the officers were already waiting for him, so Drake is arrested.
