My Hero Academia

Tales of the Foreigner

Chapter One:

Welcome to U.A. High School

It was a peaceful day in Mustafa, Japan. Like any other day. The sun was shining, the sky was clear of any clouds, and no villains were in sight causing trouble. Yep, it was a perfect day for all the people in Mustafu to continue their daily lives...Well...almost perfect, as a girl with sky blue hair, rabbit ears, and a tail, blue eyes, wearing a ragged torn up short sleeve shirt and blue jeans shorts that would fit a seven-year-old.

"Get back here you bastards! You're going to pay for what you did to me!" Bakugo yelled as he flew through the air with the use of his quirk. The students that he was passing by stared in a mix of horror, fear, or slight humor.

"Leave me alone! I didn't mean to freeze you on purpose!" Heather yelled as she quickly ducked underneath a pair of students carrying a banner across the hallway. While Heather was able to avoid it, Bakugo wasn't as he ended up colliding with it and slammed face-first into a nearby locker. "Oh, fudge...I hope he's okay?" She wondered, only to be answered by Bakugo slowly pulling himself up and glaring at Heather as if he was a demon from hell. "Oh double fudge, he's angry!"

"I am going to kill you!" Bakugo yelled, causing Heather to yelp upon seeing him coming at them as she quickly ducks underneath his attempt to grab her by the ears before they both quickly bolted down the hallway in the opposite direction.

"How did we get ourselves into this mess!?" Heather asked as they continued to run like a bat out of hell.

U.A. High School

Recovery Girl's Office

"Hard to believe this girl lasted this long. Especially given how malnourished and injured she was. And are you certain she's not with the league?" Present Mic asked as Recovery Girl shook her head.

"Given what we could get from Yaoyorozu and the others. The girl froze just about every villain within the rocky section of the USJ after getting shocked by the villain holding Kaminari as a hostage."

"You mean like Todoroki's quirk?" Present Mic asked as she shook her head.

"No, more like cryo-genetically freezing them. While Todoroki's ice can damage the cells of a person's body, this girl's quirk preserves them without damaging them. I can only assume that her quirk involves liquid nitrogen of some kind given what she did and from the reports of what the students said about her. Hence why Principal Nezu is having something made to help deal with that."

"You think the villains that attacked the students have something to do with her condition?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Poor girl must have gone through a lot if they kidnapped her."

"We'll have to ask her a few questions once she wakes up. Be sure to let us know if anything changes, okay?" He said before making his way out of the room. Recovery Girl nodded before going back to her work. Once Present Mic left the room, Heather began to slowly wake up as she let out a small groggy groan due to how stiff her body felt.

"God, I feel like my body just got thrown through the car wash...where am I?" She asked as her eyes began to fully adjust to the lighting in the room. Once her eyes were adjusted. The moment she saw Recovery Girl looking through a file cabinet, the bunny girl quickly covered her mouth to keep herself from saying anything. So far it worked, seeing how Recovery Girl didn't turn around. She soon looked over herself to see herself covered in bandages. "She must be a nurse from what I read in that book in that man's basement. Guess that would explain the bandages around my arms." She pauses for a moment before looking more underneath the sheets to see that more bandages are covering more of her body. "And covering almost all of my body...at least I don't have to worry about being naked for the time being." Looking around she found her clothes off to the side of her as she quietly pulled herself out of the bed she was in and began to tip-top her way over to them. Once there, she quickly took them off of the little table they were on and quietly made her way toward the door.

"Nothing against you lady, but I need to figure out a way to get home to my family. Mama and papa must be worried about me." Once she made it to the door, she slowly turned the knob so that she didn't make a sound. When the door was wide enough for her to slip through, she quickly ran out of the office as the door behind her slammed shut. Causing Recovery Girl to quickly turn around to see Heather missing from her bed. Heather could hear the woman making her way over to the door as she quickly ran down the hallway.

She could hear Recovery Girl calling out to her from behind, but she ignored it as she just kept on running until she was a good distance away. Once she knew she was somewhere where she could gather her thoughts, she began to put her clothes back on her, though noticed that they were surprisingly clean and smelled like they were just pulled out of the dryer.

"I really should've taken some clothes along with me when I escaped. The clothes I have on are a bit tight. But the bandages should help out for the most part...though I wish I had shoes." Heather said before beginning her somewhat exploration of the building she was in. As she walked down the hallway, the bunny girl took notice of her surroundings. Mainly how very clean everything is and how orderly the classroom, students, and teachers were when she secretly sneaked by the classrooms while she was walking by them. "Guess I ended up in a school of some kind or something...how did I end up in this place anyway? The last thing I remember, I ended up walking through a-"

"Attention U.A. Students and Staff Members! This is your principal speaking!" Heather's thoughts were interrupted by the voice coming from the speakers in the ceiling above her. "I like to inform everyone that we're on the lookout for a girl with rabbit-like features, and bandages covering her arms and legs. If you come across this individual, please escort her to Recovery Girl's office or report her whereabouts to a teacher." The voice said as Heather groaned in annoyance.

"Wish I knew what that person was saying. But I get the feeling it involves something school related." Heather thought before quickly bolting down the hallway while trying to find a place to hide. Just as she turned the corner, she hit something hard and she fell backward.

"Hey, watch where you're going idiot!" said a male voice as Heather looks up to see a male student with short, spiky, ash-blond hair standing in front of her with an angry expression on his face...It didn't help that his eyes were red which made him look like a demon. The bunny girl flinched back a bit from seeing his expression as he blinked up seeing her appearance, mainly the bandages covering her body. "Wait a minute, you're that girl that they mentioned just now over the intercom, aren't you?"

"Oh, raspberries! He's asking me something...maybe he might know English?" Heather thought as she tried to regain her composure and stood back up. "Um, sorry, I can't understand what you're saying?" She said while smiling awkwardly as Bakugo simply deadpans with a raised eyebrow. "Um...you speak English...yes?"

"Great, so you're from overseas," Bakugo said before grabbing Heather by the wrist and beginning to drag her off to a nearby teacher. "Come on. Let's get you to Mr. Aizawa or someone that can help translate you or something." While he was dragging her against her will, he felt her beginning to struggle to try and escape his grip. "Hey! Stop moving like that! I'm trying to help you, idiot!"

"Come on Heather, think! You made it this far outside of the prison you were in, you can't let yourself be prisoned again. Especially by this person who you don't know." She thought while continuing to struggle in his grip while being dragged down the hallway. As this was happening, Bakugo felt a sudden chill run up his arm before hearing the sound of ice forming over something. The young man turns his attention over to Heather but soon turns his attention to his arm as it was quickly being covered in ice.

"What the hell-!" Before he could finish his sentence, he was cut off by the ice quickly spreading across his body before he was cryogenically frozen in ice. At this moment, Heather was taken by surprise at what just happened and took this as an opportunity to carefully slide her hand out of his now-frozen grip.

"Oh fudge, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" Heather yelled as she looked over Bakugo for a moment before looking at her hands as they were blue and giving off cold air like smoke. "Weird, my hands were never this blue before...or cold." She said before looking back at Bakugo who had a somewhat shocked and angry expression on his face. "Oh, I'm hoping he doesn't get angry when he unthaws himself...or when someone unthaws him." As she carefully examines him, she notices that his gaze was focused on her as she could tell that he was pissed, mainly from seeing his body vibrating in anger. "Yep, time to leave. Sorry whoever you are." with that, she quickly bolted around the corner and down the hallway. Leaving the poor young man frozen in cryostasis.

Once the girl was a few distances away from Bakugo, her nose picked up something sweet coming from the two double doors down the hallway. Her stomach began to growl upon sniffing the tasty aroma of food as she slowly made her way toward the doors. She slightly opened the doors to the cafeteria to see if anyone was inside. To her misfortunate, students were going about as they would either eating their food at tables or in line getting their food.

"Fudge, this is not good. Okay Heather, focus. Going into the cafeteria is out of the question, seeing how there are so many people walking around in there...Maybe I should try getting something from that weird machine with food in them?" She said before looking around to see if there was a vending machine near her. Fortunately for her, there was one as she smiled. "Oh thank god. There's one nearby." The bunny girl quickly looked to her left and right to see if there was anyone nearby. So far, no one was making their way down the hallway as she made her way over to the vending machine.

From what she could tell, or at least try to tell. The machine looked like it was filled with different types of snacks that were similar to the ones that she saw during her time on the streets of Japan. Her stomach begins to growl in hunger upon seeing the various types of foods and drinks in the machine as she reaches into her pocket to see if she had money in them. Sadly for her, she didn't as she groaned in annoyance at this.

"Fudging raspberries. That lady must've taken the money I found on the ground while I was asleep." She said while continuing to search deeper into her pockets, only to feel her shorts getting cold from her quirk activating as she quickly pulled them out. Once she did that, she noticed that her hands were dark blue and giving off cold steam like vapor. "Oh right, my quirk...wait. I can use my quirk to freeze the glass. Once it's frozen, I'll break the glass, quickly take the snacks, and then run for it before anyone knows it was me." She slowly began to reach towards the glass on the vending machine as she was about to try and freeze it, only to pause and slowly pull her hand back and sigh.

"Much as I would like to. It wouldn't be right to steal food, not even when I was wandering the streets. Mama and Papa would be disappointed in me if they knew that I did that." Heather before turning away from the vending machine and began to make her way down the hallway. "Guess I'll have to go into the trash cans of this place and hope that someone accidentally threw away food that hasn't been eaten or something." Just as she turned the corner, she quickly pulled herself back upon seeing a muscular-looking man with yellow hair talking to another man with bandages covering his arms and face.

"Why wasn't she properly secured in her bed?" Aizawa asked as All Might scratched the back of his head in awkwardness.

"W-Well given the state she was in, I figured she would get scared to find herself handcuffed to the bed. I was planning on seeing if she was alright, but I had to..take care of some personal stuff."

"She was with the villains when they attacked the other students. For all, we know she might still be a spy that the villains left here to gather information on U.A."

"I doubt she's a spy. I mean she did save three of our students in your class from what they said about her, right?"

"That may be true, but I still have my doubts about whether she's not with the league of villains. Especially now seeing how she's running around the school."

"She's probably scared. Look, why don't you head back to class and inform the students about the U.A. Sports Festival coming up? I'll look around and see if I can find her before she causes any trouble by accident?" All Might said as Aizawa stared at him for a moment before heading down the hallway in the direction of where Heather was hiding.

"Oh no, he's heading this way," Heather whispered before looking around to see where she could hide. She notices a door across from her slightly open as she quickly heads inside and quickly closes the door just as Aizawa walks by it. The bunny girl lets out a sigh upon hearing Aizawa walking by the room she was in but soon hears someone from behind clear their throat. She slowly turned her head to the side as she saw a rather blocky-looking person along with a classroom of students staring at her. "Oh, raspberries."

"Hey, isn't that the girl that the principal mentioned over the intercom?" asked a male student which caused some of the students to start talking to each other. Mainly at the way she was looking due to the bandages covering most of her body.

"Wasn't she with those villains that attacked Class 1A? You don't think she's in league with the villains?"

"Is she planning on attacking us?" asked a female student with a fearful expression on her face.

"She must be really stupid if she thinks she can attack us. Especially when we have a pro hero Cementoss in the class." said another female student as the teacher turned his attention to the students.

"Everyone settle down, please. Return to your studies while I escort her to" Before Cementoss could finish, he heard the door to the classroom open up quickly as he saw Heather bolted down the hallway. "-the principal's office." He soon lets out a sigh of annoyance, hoping to be able to talk to the girl. But given the fearful expression on her face, that wasn't the case. He begins to make his way toward the door but soon stops as he looks over at the students in his classroom. "Today will be a free period. When the bell rings, you'll be dismissed. Remember that you have a test next week on history. So be ready for it by studying." He said before running off down the hall in an attempt to catch up with Heather. As he was running, he pressed what looked like a communication device in his ear. "This is Cementoss, I located the girl that was brought into the school. She's currently running down the east-west part of the school. Requesting backup if I can't get her."

"Nice going, Heather! Look at where you got yourself into!" Heather thought to herself as she continued to run down the hallway while at times looking behind her. She would see Cementoss off in the distance as he was trying to speak to her. But due to her being a long distance away from him, it would only sound like muffled noises. "Okay, think girl. Remember the video tapes you watched about stranger danger while being imprisoned by that man. You need to find a means to lose him." The bunny girl began to frantically look around to see what she could use to lose or hide from Cementoss tailing her. Just as she turned the corner, she quickly came to a stop in front of a group of students who in turn stopped upon seeing Heather. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me!?"

"Hey, isn't that the girl that the principal mentioned on the intercom?" asked a rather tall male student with canine ears.

"Yeah, I think she is. You think she might be lost?" asked a female student as another spoke up.

"One of you guys gets one of the teachers, we'll stay here and make sure she wanders off and gets lost even more." Just as one of them was about to leave to get a teacher, the group of students along with Heather heard Cementoss's voice from behind as the bunny girl frantically looked around to see where she could try to escape. She soon noticed one of the windows to her right open as she looked back at the group who noticed her looking at the open window, then back at her, then back at the window as they put two and two together.

"Please let me be on the first floor of this school." Heather thought as she noticed the group of students quickly trying to stop her by blocking her path. She took a deep breath and stepped back for a moment before charging at the group. One of the students tried to tackle her to the ground, only for her to jump above her and land on the shoulder of the male student with canine-like ears. As she tried to keep herself balanced on his shoulders, she noticed another student trying to grab her by her fluffy cottontail. Heather quickly jumps off of the student she was balancing as the female student that was trying to grab her collided with the student she was balancing onto the ground. Just as she lands near the window, Heather quickly jumps out of the window.

"Haha! Freedom!" She yelled mentally only to look down to see that she was higher up than she thought she was. To be more accurate, she was on the third floor of the school that she jumped out of. She soon looked back at the students and teacher making his way to where the group was as they all started in shock upon seeing her in the air. "...I lived a good life...my only regret is that I'll never see mama and papa again." Heather closed her eyes as she waited for herself to fall to the ground...only it never came. She slowly opened her eyes and she found herself floating in the air for a moment before feeling herself slowly falling to the ground like a leaf in the wind.

"I...didn't her quirk allow her to fly?" said a female student who looked over at Cemetoss. "Is she a new student or something?"

"Y-You could say that," Cementoss said before looking over at the group. "I need you four to inform Principal Nezu along with any other teachers you come upon about this." He said before looking over at Heather who was making her way down, only for her to float towards an open window on the first floor and head inside. "Tell Nezu that she's on the first floor of the school." With that, he quickly took off to the first floor of the school. While the group of students ran off to Principal Nezu's office, Cementoss made his way to the first floor. Heather quickly ran down the hall, trying to get a good distance from the group that she thought was chasing her only to stop due to her getting tired and hungry.

"Okay, I think that's a good enough distance from them," Heather said before catching her breath. "Holy sugar honey iced tea! I thought I was going to die when I jumped out of that window! Not to self, be sure to look at where you are height-wise before doing anything like that again." She said before looking over herself. "Weird...I don't feel light as a feather...so how could I be able to float like that and not crash onto the ground? Maybe my quirk has something to do with that?" She ponders this for a good five seconds before feeling her stomach growling. "Right, no time for pondering stuff like this Heather. You need to escape this crazy place, find someone that can help you that can speak English, and get yourself something to eat...that isn't from a dumpster or trash can." The moment she took a step forward, her ears picked up the sounds of something exploding off in the distance behind her.

"What's that noise?" She asked as turns around to see where that noise was coming from. The bunny girl could see a figure flying in the direction she was looking at, only for her eyes to widen in a mix of shock, fear, and horror as she saw the boy that she had accidentally frozen with her quirk charging at her like a flaming demon trying to catch his prey. "Oh, fudge! It's the boy I accidentally froze!"

"THERE YOU ARE, YOU LONG-EARED BASTARD! YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR FREEZING ME IN ICE!" Bakugo yelled as Heather quickly turned around and bolted it down the hallway. "GET BACK HERE NOW OR ELSE I'LL KILL YOU!"
