SPD Covert Corps:
After the collapse of the Grum empire and the defeat of General Grum, SPD High command created a task force to find and destroy the biggest threats to the galaxy they watch over. Doggy Krueger promoted Sky to Commander of SPD's Earth headquarters, and was himself promoted to be the first leader of the Covert team, consisting of the best of the best to be able to stop tthreats before they start. Taking on some of the old guard of the tactics unit they choose Darrius Shay to lead the alpha unit and to choose members. Jack Landry is given a boots on the group assignment to find intel and help act on it.
All unit's have chest and shoulder pads, tactical belt and a number over 200. All have black color scheme with their individual color. Each helmet is different.
Team
Alpha Strike Ranger: Commander of the Unit that has been in the core for the last 20 years. Commander Darrius Shay had a troubled past but decided to join SPD after being saved by Red Ranger Jack Landry as a kid. From there on he fought his way towards SPD and became the best he could be. He wanted to clean the Lowe city streets he grew up and and needed to hit the crime right where it slept, so he started the unit with the grace of the grand commander. Where's the Maroon and black suit with a matte black badge. Striker pistol's(blacked out with Police UTV shape) with striker short-sword. Unit 201 crimson
Gamma Interceptor: New to the SPD special forces from a foreign military for an act of good faith for their government. Golzramench specializes in firearms and became a covert expert who has competed many missions by himself. But needs more teamwork to be a leader. Apprehensive at first but becomes friends with his squad mates. Uses a silenced SMG and 2 hatchets. Unit 210 navy
Nova Deadeye: Born in the same world as Siris but a female of an alien race, Terramin is his best friend and also lost her family when the mutant attacked. Nova Ranger battled alongside Omega Ranger but was wounded in battle and afterwards was forced to retire field work and help with Operation support. When she was done with training at 18 she was given the Nova Ranger powers and uses her skills as a marksman to cover her team from afar so nobody can get the drop on them. Sniper rifle with twin daggers. Unit 212 gray
Omega V2: Siris Targain was a young man whose family was killed by a time traveling mutant that was eventually vanquished by the original Omega Ranger. Once the mutant was killed and posed no more threat, Omega decided to train Siris and let him live with him and once he felt the training was done 7 years later wen he was 18, he was given the upgraded powers of the Omega Ranger. Siris decides to master in hand to hand and close quarters Tonfa fighting. Dual Tonfa and hand to hand combatant with side blaster. Unit 206 white
Theta Demo Ranger: the demolitions expert of the group. Was a cadet during the B-Squad defeat of Grum, he looked up too and did his best to become like Bridge. Sorin loved tech and found a love for defusing and hacking into hard to crack systems with nefarious outcomes. Large Pistol and large combat knife. Unit 204 orange
Delta Riptide Ranger: Delcion. Uses the Ocean Saber to defeat his enemies and was trained by Doggie Cruger. Orphan of Icthior's world, was caught protecting another orphan who got caught stealing food, and took the beating for the other kid. Doggie witnessed this and took the kid in. He was named Barento and his family was killed in Grum's invasion a few years before he attacked earth. Barento trains to be a swordsman and an officer of SPD to help his planet. Unit 215 teal
Zeta Shadow Ranger: DJ Krueger was born a few years after the end of the war to his happy parents. His father continued his work off world, while his mother and him lived a peaceful and normal life. DJ always wanted to be like his father but his parents wouldn't allow it. Until he turned 18 and joined the SPD Academy. Then he started to ace all of his courses and training and after a small skirmish broke out due to a mad scientist making a multiplying monster that attacked the Capitol City. He helped fight off the monsters and was able to protect his mother until back-up, and his father arrived. Once he graduates he is inducted into the Black Ops division and given the training of the blade from his father and given the shadow saber. Unit 230 all black
FireSquad Red: Jack Landry worked on his own and he liked it that way. Working the streets was his thing and he never wanted to be in SPD but he found a love for fighting crime and soon became covert red. After a while he gains the ultimate red powers and becomes FireSquad Red. Sporting an upgraded suit, jack only uses this form when necessary. (Red and black suit inspired by boom concept, and FireSquad suit based on new sentai suit). Unit 203 red
25 years pass and a new empire raises Grum's banner but the Leader is far more merciless and insane. He used to be an emperor of a land very easily conquered by Grum. But after the conquest Grum saw something in the young ruler so he grooms him into a merciless, heartless and Greedy ruler and general. But after the fall he returned home, wanting more. As he was in a far and rather cut off part of the galaxy he used this to build an army and conquer his entire galaxy. But nobody knew. Nobody tried to go through even the safer routes to get those planets, except for Grum. He harnessed mystical energy of his people and the energy of his planet, and using those of the old empire who fled, and made the journey to his world alive, make him a new fleet, with very conceivable weapon known to the galaxy. He hired spies and agents to sow chaos and find pockets where he could attack before he struck and started his conquest of the whole universe.
After the latest case wrapped the squad came back to the barracks and hung out. A red alert alarmed and the team (Alpha, Theta, Zeta, Gamma, Nova, Omega and Delta) run to the command room, the map on the outer rim is showing a line of planets being taken offline from the connected servers. All outposts and embassies had gone dark. Nobody knew what was going on and some thought it was just an error or an anomaly causing one. Captain Krueger tells them team they have a new recruit and that they have a new mission to find out what was going on in those sectors. When DJ comes in her is polite, introduces himself and gets his assignment. He chats with the others, meeting most for the first time but Siris and Delcion from his childhood. He goes to put his stuff in his bunk and then to train before they head out early the next morning. All prepare their gear and clean their weapons. They leave and head to the nearest outpost to a warp gate.
