Chapter 7
Natasha was exploring the plane and saw poor Laura and Claire patrolling the aisles of the plane, hypnotized with their arms outstretched and in their nightgowns.
Natasha then came up with a plan to free Laura and Claire but it wouldn't be easy.
She searched the room for that crazy pocket watch but to her disappointment, it was nowhere to be found.
Apparently, Dr. Faustus was smart enough not to leave his hypnotizing technology behind so the next order of business was to find out just what had happened while she was hypnotized.
She then went to get her laptop and then saw a glaring news headline: Rogue Avenger on the loose with Stolen Money and Kidnapping.
Now Natasha was getting more and more worried by the minute. This clearly didn't happen by itself and Dr. Faustus must have hypnotized her to get Laura and Claire and steal all that money.
She was also worried about how her Avenger teammates would react. They probably didn't have a clue as to what was going on.
Then she calmed herself down. Worrying wouldn't help and she needed a plan.
She had to find some way to unhypnotize Laura and Claire, get themselves off the plane, then make another plan to stop Dr. Faustus and take the pocket watch.
Natasha had a thought: maybe she could trick the hypnotized Claire and Laura into obeying her and not Faustus. She could even de-hypnotize them, but right now in the middle of Sokovia and in the vicinity of a Hydra base, she couldn't risk dealing with two scared college girls. If she wanted to get out of this, she needed them hypnotized for now.
Natasha spread her arms and walked around sleepwalking, pretending she was still hypnotized under Faustus' control. When she passed the girls, she said in a monotone voice: "Our master has given me new orders that we must follow. Meet me in the dorm." The two girls said: "We must obey our master." When the three girls reached the bedroom, Natasha closed the door and began to say: "Our master has established that from now on you obey me. I will receive the orders from the master and I will transmit them to you. He has also said that for security reasons, you can only obey my orders. You cannot obey anyone else, not even our master." The two girls nodded: "From now on we only obey your orders." Natasha already had the two girls under her control. Now she needed a plan.
For now she left the hypnotized girls in the bedroom and went around the plane looking for information. She managed to get to Faustus' office. Looking through the documents she realized that she was in one of the last and most important Hydra bases. Even though she and the rest of the Avengers had taken care of dismantling it, there were still some left. It had probably gone unnoticed because it was in a failed state on the verge of civil war. So the robberies that Doctor Faustus had directed were aimed at a plan beyond simple personal enrichment. As soon as she got out of this mess, she would have to inform Fury and the rest of the Avengers. She had finally come up with a plan, so she returned to the bedroom.
Pretending to be hypnotized again, Natasha enters the bedroom with her arms outstretched and speaking in a monotone voice she tells the girls: "Girls, our master has told me that we should prepare a special surprise for him. When he returns from his meeting, you will try to seduce him and when he is distracted enough, you Claire will hit him from behind to leave him unconscious and tie him up. Laura, you will take his pocket watch and bring it to me. I will be waiting for you in the cockpit of the plane, since the master has ordered me to fly it back to New York." The two girls nodded, while Natasha went to the cockpit, hoping that her plan will succeed.
