Here in an alternate timeline we find two odd looking adventurers at the local pub, one with short green hair and pointy elf-like ears, and another with long blue braided hair, at first glance you would think that both these girls were the same age, but in fact one was much older than the other.
The green haired girl was named Sylphiette, while the blue haired one was called Roxy Migurdia, and they are currently celebrating the completion of their first Labyrinth together. and why were they in such a dangerous place you might ask? Well, it was because of a promise that Roxy made to Sylphy back in Buena Village, a promise she made to alleviate Sylphy's sorrows due to leaving said village.
In the beginning, Roxy was planning on getting a group together or joining a group going into the Labyrinth, but due to both Roxy's and Sylphy's... appearance, they had trouble finding one. So, Roxy, not wanting to break her promise, decided to just go in with just the two of them.
In all honesty, Roxy never expected them to get past the first few floors, she expected some sort of problem to show up eventually and then they would turn back and try again the next day... But, much to her surprise, she found that she worked very well with Sylphy. in fact they worked so well together that they ended up conquering the entire labyrinth in a few short days. Roxy was so proud of her student that she decided to celebrate using the strongest and most expensive liquor she could find.
She soon realized that this was a big mistake...
"*hic* listen here masster..." Sylphy said as she hugged Roxy with one arm and pulled her in close.
"Sylphy you're too close..."
"be quiet forassecon and lisstn"
It was at this moment that Roxy realized… Sylphy was a lightweight... and a clingy drunk.
"you keep talkn bout findin ahussbim... but tellme... whahappens when you do?"
Sylphy pauses, blinks slowly and loses focus for a second.
"uh... but, yea, backn my village there was dis man, real handsomlike, he was the knight of the village you kno?"
"ugh... Sylphy, how are you this drunk already? you've only had like two"
"is no problm, i can detoximafy later... butanyways, about dat handsom knight..."
She leans in close to Roxy and whispers, but she does so very loudly that anyone standing next to them could hear it anyways.
"Did ya know that he had two wives?"
she gives Roxy a smile and a nod, like they were sharing some big secret. Roxy herself had no idea how to respond, Sylphy just kept changing from one topic to the next, she didn't quite understand what it all meant.
"ah... I see..."
"yea, so... you get it?"
"huh? get what?"
"ami gonna need to spellitout for you?"
"Clearly, you do... what does this have to do with me?" Roxy said curtly, she was getting a little annoyed at this point.
Sylphy narrowed her eyes at Roxy's attitude but went on.
"listen listen listen listen listen... iffyou get married... i wanna- *hic* -wanna be with you."
"huh?! be with- Sylphy what are you even saying?!"
Sylphy pauses for a second and looks confused.
"wait... isaid that wrong, it came out diffnt than itwasuppos to"
"Then, what did you mean?"
"I..."
again Sylphy pauses and makes a face, like she is concentrating hard.
"master... I'm gonna be your second wife, uh, THE second wife"
Roxy leans away from her clearly uncomfortable
"eeeh?"
then, out of nowhere, Sylphy's face scrunches up and tears start to fall from her eyes
"i jus- just don want you to go away anymore..."
"wh- Sylphy?"
"When you left Buena, I was so lonely..."
"ah..."
"*sniff*... I don't wanna be alone anymore!"
her sobs turned into a full wail as she hugged Roxy close and cried on to her shoulder.
"Sylphy..."
"Master, please don't leave me!"
"oh dear"
Roxy was beside herself, she had no idea what to do in this situation. she smiled awkwardly at the other patrons at the pub as she patted Sylphy's back.
"um, there there..."
Then, suddenly recovering, Sylphy looks up at Roxy with a tear streaked but determined look on her face.
"Teacher, promise!"
"huh?"
"promise that i can be the second wife, promise that you won't go away!"
"ah, but..."
Roxy looked away, this was too much for her, what exactly was she supposed to even say? well... it wasn't like she was planning to get married anytime soon, maybe if she found someone in a Labyrinth? And, looking at Sylphy now, she perhaps wouldn't remember any of this conversation they were having in the morning. maybe it wouldn't be so bad to just say it. and... if she was being completely honest with herself, she wasn't entirely against the idea... or was that the wine talking...
"well... alright"
"alright what?" Sylphy demanded.
"*sigh* I promise not to go away..."
"and?"
"and... and I'll let you be the second wife... if I ever get married. there, satisfied?"
Sylphy had a big dumb smile on her face as she nodded, she then finally separated herself from Roxy, she sat down on a chair, laid her head down on the table, and passed out without saying another word.
Roxy heaved a heavy sigh, smiled, and sat down next to her.
"What am I ever going to do with you?"
From then on Roxy was determined to not let Sylphy drink such hard liquor ever again.
Oh, but the story is not quite over yet, now we go back to the Rudeus timeline.
Down in a snowy town of Sharia, is a pub, and within that establishment are three married women, their names were Elinalise Dragonroad, Roxy M Greyrat and Sylphiette Grayrat. The three of them were celebrating not only Roxy's marriage to Rudues as the second wife, but the birth of Sylphy's daughter, Lucy, as well. Elinalise was so happy that everything worked out well for them that she invited them both out to drinks... completely forgetting that Sylphy was a lightweight...
Fate, it seems, was very strong at this moment...
"*Hic* Roxy, Listen..." Sylphy said as she pulled Roxy in close with one arm.
"Sylphy, what's wrong? you're rather close."
"just... listen, some advice from one wife to another"
"oh, alright..."
"listen... if Rudy ever asks you to do something different... don't"
"ehh?"
"oh, sure he calls it fun, but then you can't walk straight afterwards"
"I'm not sure I want to know about this..."
"And do you know how hard it is to do guard duty while in pain? hard not to walk bowlegged, then the princess would make fun of me and... and... i mean, you've seen how big...
Sylphy pauses, as if realizing something...
hang on, how the heck did it even fit you anyways?"
"ugh, Sylphy... were in public, dont be so lou-"
"no no no, now you gotta tell me, i wanna know details!"
Roxy cringed as Sylphy went to take a drink from her cup, only to find it empty...
"no, actually, you don't need to say, I know how it is, he was not careful with my first time either... so rough..."
Despite her words there was a big creepy grin on Sylphy's face.
"ehehehe, i wish it could be our first time again..."
"Sylphy, how many have you had?"
"huh? oh, this is my... second one, i think?"
"ugh..."
Thankfully, Elinalise came by and distracted Sylphy right after this and the subject changed to another topic... Roxy sighed in relief...
but then she realized something...
Rudeus is pervy
Elinalise is pervy
and now she's finding out that the normally calm and quiet Sylphy, is also pervy...
just what kind of family did she end up joining?
She would need to prepare herself for the future... both mentally and physically...
maybe she should ask Elinalise for advice...
