I didn't own Amphibia and or wolfwalker
Finally another chapter done sorry for the wait I was busy this and something else but I'll get to that later on an unrelated note my follow writer Vgn Golley brought one of my OCs Len Tennyson into his story Alien force unite I came up with the idea for him for about a year or so but couldn't of a story line for him follow after he gets the power watch since his just goes different worlds help them out then leaves and get paid by Paradox with resources to help fix his world that his Ben broke (Also to clear I'm ok anyone using him just so long as I get some credit)
Now on to the chapter
Chapter 21 Temple chaos
Since returning home Anne's life has been as crazy as it was in Amphibia there were some ups and some downs, fun times and a killer robot after them, most recently they found a big clue in returning to Amphibia at the museum and a new ally in the form of Dr Jan who Anne was just finishing talking with on the phone.
"Dr Jen says she great news that means sooner we talk to her the sooner we talk to her the sooner we get you guys home." Anne said, causing the Planters to cheer.
After the Planters put on their disguises, they rushed outside only to be greeted by Anne's parents loading a car with tins of food.
"Oh, good you guys can help us finish loading the car." Oum said.
"No problem, Miss Boonchuy." Sprig said happily.
"We be glad to help." Hop pop said cheerfully.
"I can't carry much but ok." Polly said indifferently.
"Ok but than we gotta get to the museum." Anne said sounding impatiently
"No way today is market day at the Thai temple and we're all going to be there." Oum said.
"But mom-." Anne wined before her mother cut her off.
"No buts young lady you are going and that final." Oum said firmly.
"So, what is this market day thing anyway?" Hop pop asked as they loaded the last of the food into the car.
"It's a monthly all day event at the Thai temple everyone gathers for food and um" Bee said before spotting two teens taking pictures by a neat by bush.
"Hey, I see you Desi, Rico." Anne yelled, causing the two teens to run off.
"What was that about?" Bee asked.
"Ugh nosy gossip bloggers from the school newspaper trying to get an exclusive photo of the girl who went missing." Anne said.
"Oh, I got some photo they can uses." Bee said pulling up some baby photos on his phone. "Here's you eating spaghetti when you were two oh and here you are-."
"DAD oh my gosh stop." Anne said cutting her father off her face beat red.
"NEVER." Bee yelled.
"This is going to be so embarrassing there is no way this could get worse." Anne said but she had no idea how wrong she was.
"Honey you sure this is everything?" Oum asked after counting all the tins.
"Yes, I double check everything just to be sure why?" Bee asked
"I just have a weird feeling that we forgot about something." Oum said.
Meanwhile
At a large farm house three people were finishing loading a truck with fruit and veggies one was a 6ft 3 man in his mid-40s but look like he was in his 30s he had short orange red hair, build wearing an orange polo shirt, jeans, and brown shoes this is Luke Wolf (Blake and Alex's father) one was a woman in her mid-40 but also look like she was in her 30s she had long black hair had a slim build wearing a blue polo shirt, a black skirt and black flat shoe, this is Sarah Wolf (Blake and Alex's mother) the last was an 11 year old girl with orange red tied into pigtails wearing a cute pink dress, black legging, a pink backpack and pink shoe this is Crystal Wolf (Blake and Alex's little sister).
"That everything honey?" Luke asked.
"Yes, dear everything is present and accounted for." Sarah said.
"Then let's go." Crystal said bouncing in her seat. "Thai temple here we come."
Later at the Thai temple
As they arrival the Planters couldn't help but marvel at the place.
"Just look that is place." Sprig said excitedly
"The stalls sort of remind of Wartwood." Hop pop said.
"Look they even have a statue." Polly said, pointing at a statue.
As they were walking they came across a bulletin board with photos on it.
"Huh no way Anne is that you?" Polly asked pointing to picture of a little girl in a Thai theme dress blowing a raspberry.
"Yep, I've been coming here since I was a kid it cool at first but believe me it get old real fast." Anne said.
After getting to their stall and setting up Oum put a hat on Anne's head.
"You're on simple duty." Oum said as she handed her daughter a tray of food.
"Mom do I have to wear the hat." Anne said feeling embarrassed.
"What wrong with the hat?" Oum asked.
"I just well the hat makes me feel like a kid." Anne said.
"You are a kid you're our kid." Bee said.
"Dad." Anne said embarrassingly.
"Come on Anne you look fine now stand out in the open where everyone can see you." Oum said.
"Wait." Anne said as she had a feeling of dread. "By everyone you don't mean."
Her fears were conformed when a group of older women came up to her.
"Anne's here."
"She back."
"Oh, shoot here come the ba train." Anne said readying herself for what to come.
"Welcome back nong Anne."
"Hi Pa Nit." Anne said putting hand together like she was praying.
"Where have you been worrying your parents like that."
"Good to see you Pa Poo." Anne said before coming up with a lie. "It was just a misunderstanding They forgot I was at tennis camp."
"Eh typical."
"You got so skinny."
"Here eat something." As Anne was force-fed some rice.
"Okay good to see Anne." And then they all left. (A.N. Ok was it just me or did anyone else think those ladies were her aunts or something?)
"Glad that over." Anne said.
"Anne, stop they care about you their glad you're back." Oum said in a scolding manner
"Hey what does this mean?" Polly asked putting her hand together like Anne did.
"It's called a wai it's how you show respect to your elders super important in Thai culture." Anne explaining but not really caring.
"Hey, is there anything cool to do around here?" Sprig asked as he was getting bored.
"Not really you three are free to explore just be careful and keep those disguises on." Anne said and the Planters ran off.
While the Planters were off enjoying what Thai had to offer Anne was not have fun on simple duty it was so boring.
"What you got there mom?" Anne asked as her mom came out of the stall holding a few Tupperware.
"Just returning some dishes of the community member led us I'll be right back." Oum before walking off.
As she left Anne returned to giving out simples and being bored until.
"Anne." A voice called out Anne turned to see Crystal.
"Oh crud." Anne said before dropping the tray and running away.
"Anne get back here." Crystal yelled giving chase.
Thankful for Anne her longer legs and years of playing sports were paying off as she easily able outrun Crystal.
With Crystal.
"Dang it." Crystal said before trying to use her sense of smell but. "Too many scents I can't find her."
Back to Anne.
"Oh man why is she here I got to get out of here." Anne said trying to catch her breath.
Back to Crystal
After losing Anne, Crystal took out her phone and called her big sister. "Alex, I got a lead Anne back I found her at the Thai temple."
However unknown to them the 1st cloak bot was using a cell tower listened in before laughing dragonfly drones.
Back to Anne
"I think I lost her." Anne said before running into her mother.
"Anne what are you doing here?" Oum asked.
"Mom I can explain." Anne said in a panic.
"Were you sneaking off to see your museum friend?" Oum said sounding disappointed.
"Was thinking about it but no I was running away from Crystal." Anne said.
"You were running away from an 11 year old." Oum said with a deadpan.
"An 11 year old who think I'm the reason her brother disappear and can break my legs." Anne said.
"Ok good point Crystal would be very upset with you after her brother disappeared and her sister leaving to find answers." Oum said stocking Anne.
"Wait Alex did what now?" Anne asked.
"Oh yeah she figured out that you 4 were send to another world months ago she even had a book that had info about that music box of yours, but we didn't listen." Oum said feeling guilty for not even hearing her out.
"Wow and just I thought Alex couldn't get any cooler." Anne said.
"Not just her their parents and Thai community have helping us and the other families out why do think I'm returning all these dishes." Oum said.
"I don't know because you a potluck party." Anne said.
"No everyone here cook us meals and took care of me and your father all those months you were gone." Oum said stocking Anne again.
"I had no idea oh wow I feel like a jerk." Anne said feeling guilty.
"They were worry about you they even help out at the restaurant and never ask for anything in return." Oum said
"Mom, I need to find the Wolfs and tell them the truth they deserve to know." Anne said
"I think that would be for best." Oum said before seeing shadows overhead. "What the heck are those things?"
Above them were a dozen dragonfly drones and they were homing in on Anne.
"Oh no they much be from the robot." Anne said
"What robot? Oum asked.
"I'll explain that later right now tell everyone to hide this could get dangerous." Anne said as the robots started shooting at her.
"Anne, we hear Laser fire." Hop pop said as he, Sprig and Polly ran over to help.
"There you are Anne." Crystal said appear on the scene.
"Crystal, I know you're mad at me and you every right to be but right now we need to deal with these robots I'll explain later." Anne said
"Fine but it better be good." Crystal said
"Great now go and hide." Anne said.
"Um I don't think anyone is hiding." Crystal said pointing to look like Mr. and Miss Wolf and the whole Thai community.
"Mom, I told get everyone to take cover." Anne said
"This our temple and our community when one of us is under threat we all are." Oum said
"Well, what are we waiting let's smash some bots." Luke said as everyone charge in.
Soon everyone was helping stop the drones from the theater crew that Hop pop befriended using props to hit the drones with to the athletes Sprig befriended kicking balls at them,
They weren't the only ones as both Boonchuys and the Wolfs were also fighting the drones with whatever they could find.
"You mess with wrong community." Sarah yelled as she grabbed one of drones that was coming at her by the face and crushed it in her hand.
"Sample this." Anne said as smashed one of drones with a tray.
"Yeah, sample this to." Bee said throwing a tray at one of drones but totally miss."
"Ow who threw that." Luke said rubbing his head where the tray hit him.
The last of the drones were taken out by Sprig who kick Polly at it like a ball but this also knocked their disguises stocking everyone meanwhile Crystal took from her backpack what look like some kind of steam punk style blaster.
"Don't worry I got this you three just grab your disguises and hide." Crystal said point the device at the crowd "Sorry Folks nothing to see here."
FLASH
A few minutes later
"Thank for the save back there, Crystal." Anne said as no one beside them remember what happened.
"You can thank Alex this is hers." Crystal said pointing at the blaster.
"Where is she anyway?" Anne asked.
"In a place called Gravity Falls where she been trying to find a way to get you guys back." Luke said.
"Wait are saying she building a portal?" Anne asked.
"Well last I heard they already built the thing it just not working right." Sarah said. "Now it your turn what was those things and where did they come from?"
"Ok so seven months ago we ended up in a world called Amphibia as you can see it a world of not just talking frogs but also toads and newts, I got to send to a frog town called Wartwood, Sasha ended up in the south toad tower, and Marcy ended up in the big city of Newtopia."
"What about Blake?" Crystal asked.
"That we're not sure about he said he ended up in a forest without any landmarks, so he was just wondering around for 3 months with no idea where he was going until we ran into him." Anne said.
"And the robots?" Sarah asked.
"I'll get to that in a sec after some adventures and a fight with Sasha later me and Planters ran into Blake on our way to Newtopia and Marcy at city's gate then we meet the king of Amphibia Andrias who send us on a quest to recharge the stones that power the music box after the first temple Marcy came clean on how she knew about music box for the start."
"She thought it keep you guys together forever due to the idea of moving and leaving her friends behind." Sarah said.
"Yeah, but how did you know that?" Anne asked surprised.
"The Wus took us the truth about four months ago I guess the guilt got to them." Luke said. "Afterwards I offered Mr. Wu a job at the company as a sign of good faith."
"Wow so does this mean the Wus are going to be sticking around?" Anne asked hopefully.
"Yes, now back the story." Sarah said.
"Right after going to four temples each one to recharge one of stones that powers the music box to get us home but once we returned the box to Andrias, he showed his true colors he is planning on using an army of robots to take over not just earth and every over world he can find." Anne explained causing everyone to gasp.
"Don't worry we got your back." Crystal said.
"And no one not even an evil king will stop us from helping you." Oum said as a trunk pulled up with Dr Jen inside.
"Dr Jen?" Anne asked, wondering why she was here.
"Wait why is she here?" Oum asked looking at Anne.
"I texted her but I said we would be busy today at the Thai temple." Anne said showing her mother said text.
"Ok you're off the hook for that." Oum said as Dr Jen step out of the trunk to greet everyone.
"Sorry I couldn't wait." Dr Jen said pulling a vase and using a blacklight on it revealing ancient Amphibian writing.
"It looks like it written in that dead language Marcy and Blake learn but I have no idea what it says." Anne said as everyone was disappointed that this was a dead end for now. (A.N. Anne just having Marcy's journal was a bit of a plot hole and it are not like this info was useful right now anyway but don't worry Anne will take a photo to bring back to Amphibia.)
Meanwhile in an unknown location.
"Yes, sir I'm looking at the photos now don't worry we're on the case." A bald man in suit said while on the phone and looking images of the cloak bot and the dragonfly drones. "No sir we can handle this on our own so no need to worry them about this I'm sure they're busy anyway."
This man was simply known as Mr X than hang up.
"Don't give me that look Jenny we don't need those brat's help." Mr. X Said as the woman shoot him a look before he glared at a dartboard with a photo of Mason and Alex tape to it.
End of chapter 21
Again sorry for the wait I've been busy and it doesn't help that I've been internet problems for the past few days.
There are somethings I just want to clear up about this story by the way.
1st this version of Amphibia is still Anne's story this is just Blake's side of it that was one of the reasons why I skip season 1 him being there with Anne would have taken away from her growth and risk him taking over as the main character which I do not want that to happened.
2nd Dawn's backstory was inspired by the story of Hachiko mix with Barrel's canon backstory no one asked this, but I wanted to share it anyway.
3rd Reason the Wolf family are at the Thai temple was because about 2 years ago Blake covered for Anne when she twisted her ankle while she playing tennis and thought the place was really cool and welcoming so he and his family kept coming back every now and again they were also there to donate fruit and veggies to the community as a thanks for supporting both them and Boonchuys in their time of need.
4th The reason Crystal has the memory gun well it's actually the memory gun MK2 they upgraded, fixed the bugs and made a few extra for work (I think you can guess what the job is) the one that Crystal has is Alex's spare.
Next up I have some good news and some bad news let start with the bad news after the next chapter I'm taking a little break from the newt and the wolf due to the fact that chapter 23 is a frog and wolf Christmas so it would be weird writing/posting it in summer but I plan on posting it in December.
But the good news is that I have started writing a brand new story (That has nothing to do with the newt and the wolf but I'm keep it a surprise) it one of the reasons why this chapter took so long however I'm not posting it until I have 3 chapters done but don't worry I've already have the first chapter about 80% finish.
