Chandler is Coming
It was morning at the McCann residence in Royal Woods. Chandler was tiredly getting out of bed before walking into the kitchen where his mother was making herself some coffee.
"Morning, Chandler." said Mrs. McCann. Chandler just grunts in response before grabbing a box of Zombie Bran from a cupboard. He opens a fridge and grabs a glass bottle of milk that had a picture of a Miltank on it.
"This isn't our usual milk." said Chandler.
"It's that Moomoo Milk from Hunnicut Farms." said Mrs. McCann. Too tired to care; Chandler sits at the dining room table, and pours some cereal and Moomoo Milk into a bowl and takes a bite which makes his eyes widen.
"This is some good milk." said Chandler as he continues to eat his breakfast.
"Yes; it's from those Miltank that Lincoln Loud boy sent over from Alola." said Mrs. McCann.
"Again with Pokemon and that Alola place?!" exclaimed Chandler.
Truth be told, Chandler has been a little frustrated ever since the existence of Pokemon has been revealed on Katherine Mulligan's interview with the Loud family. The incredible creatures were pretty much a major topic with everyone in town.
When Chandler was walking by the pageant studio a couple days ago, he sees the Pokemon that Lola had with her, along with the Sylveon that Lincoln sent her pageant friends.
Sometimes when he walks by Royal Woods Elementary on the way to the Royal Woods Middle School, he sees Lincoln's younger sisters showing off some of the Pokemon that their brother sent over.
Once in a while, he sees Lucy's Mortician Club friends wandering around with the Sableye that Lincoln sent them, and most recently, they had Drifloon following them as well.
He's seen the TV interview along with the Pokemon that Lincoln and Lynn Jr had with them. He's also seen the tour of Hau'oli City that Lincoln gave Katherine Mulligan's TV audience and had to admit that he was jealous of him and his sister hanging out on a tropical beach.
Chandler also saw the friends that Lincoln made in Alola, including the girls, and especially the blonde-haired girl that he thought was cute.
"I can't believe that Lincoln Lame gets to enjoy beaches and babes while I'm stuck here in boring old Royal Woods." Chandler says with a scowl.
Chandler's father comes into the kitchen where Mrs. McCann hands him a cup of coffee.
"Morning, dear." said Mrs. McCann as she gives her husband a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Morning." Mr. McCann replied.
"How has work been, honey?" Mrs. McCann asked her husband.
"The waste hasn't been backing up as much at the treatment plant as it has before." said Mr. McCann.
"Did you ever figure out the cause?" asked Mrs. McCann.
"Remember that sludge Pokemon that Loud girl got from her brother?" asked Mr. McCann, making Chandler frown at the mention of Pokemon.
"You mean the one called a Grimer?" asked Mrs. McCann.
"Yeah, that's the one." said Mr. McCann. "Apparently, it's been hanging out in the sewers a lot for a few weeks now; whenever it does, it... eats any waste it comes across."
"Wow, I guess it's true when some people say 'you are what you eat'." said Mrs. McCann.
"Anyway, it's made work at the sewage treatment plant a bit easier for us there." said Mr. McCann.
"That's nice it helps you out." said Mrs. McCann.
"Chandler." Mr. McCann says to his son as he looks towards him.
"What?" Chandler replied in a cranky voice.
"You know the Louds, right?" asked Mr. McCann.
"Only that Lincoln dork." said Chandler.
"If you know where he and his family live; could you go over and see about asking his parents if their son can send over a few more of those Grimer things?" asked Mr. McCann.
"I don't know where they live." said Chandler.
"Oh, well then we'll find out some other way." said Mr. McCann. "I want some of those Grimer to help reduce the amount of waste at the plant."
"That's a good idea." said Mrs. McCann. After Chandler finishes his breakfast and dumps his dishes in the sink, he brushes his teeth and heads over to Tall Timbers Park to meet with his friends.
When he gets there, he sees a large crowd of kids surrounding something. Out of curiosity, he goes over to check what was getting their attention; when he gets to the center of the crowd, he sees Lincoln's younger sisters showing off their Pokemon.
"They're so cool!" said a random kid.
"I love that Sylveon!" said a girl.
"I like the Gastly." said a small goth boy (a/n: the one from the Loud House episode "Room and Hoard").
"I don't believe this." said Chandler with frustration. He moves away from the crowd and looks for his friends and soon finds them at a picnic table, looking at something on one of their devices; he walks over to them, getting their attention.
"Hey, Chandler." said Richie.
"Hey." Chandler replies. "What are you guys watching?" When he looks at the device, he was upset when he sees it was a video of Lincoln's Wela Volcano Park Island Trial that Shane recorded and sent the Loud family who put it online.
"This is so cool!" said Trent.
"It's just Lincoln Lame!" said Chandler.
"Yeah, but you got to admit, those Pokemon things are very popular." said Richie.
"Whatever." said Chandler. He refused to admit it, but Lincoln's Pokemon battle looked really exciting.
"Can't believe that Loud gets to hang out somewhere that's practically Hawaii." said Trent.
"Wish I was there." said Richie. The statement made Chandler's eyes perk up.
'If I was there...' Chandler started thinking to himself before an idea forms in his head.
Later at the McCann residence, Chandler was having lunch with his mother.
"Mom." Chandler said, getting his mother's attention.
"Yes, dear?" Mrs. McCann replied.
"I want to go to the Alola Region." said Chandler, surprising his mother.
"Why?!" Mrs. McCann replied.
"That Pokemon stuff looked kind of cool." said Chandler. "And if Dad wants some Grimer, I can catch some for him while I'm there." Mrs. McCann looked unsure for a while.
"I'll... talk to your father about this." said Mrs. McCann.
Later at the Royal Woods Sewage Plant; Mr. McCann was on break, talking with his wife on his device.
"Chandler wants to what?!" says Mr. McCann.
"He wants to go to the Alola Region." said Mrs. McCann.
"That kid is always asking for a lot." said Mr. McCann with exasperation.
"What should we do?" asked Mrs. McCann. Mr. McCann thinks for a while before coming to a decision.
"If he wants to go to the Alola Region, then let's just send him there." said Mr. McCann.
"Are you sure?" asked Mrs. McCann with concern.
"I wouldn't mind having him out of the house for a while." said Mr. McCann.
"Maybe I'll talk to the Loud family and find out where exactly this Alola Region place is; after that, we'll make arrangements." said Mrs. McCann.
"Fine." said Mr. McCann.
After finding out through Principal Ramirez the Loud family's address, Mrs. McCann goes over to talk to Lynn Sr and Rita; after they all talk, Lincoln's parents tell Chandler's mother what she wanted to know about the Alola Region.
"And my husband really would like some more Grimers to help at the sewage treatment plant as well." said Mrs. McCann.
"We'll call Lincoln and have him look for a few." said Lynn Sr.
"And we'll have him meet your son at the airport tomorrow after he gets done with Pokemon School." said Rita.
"Thank you so much." said Mrs. McCann. After she leaves, Lincoln's parents talk about the plans they just made.
"Do you think it's a good idea to let Chandler go to the Alola Region?" asked Lynn Sr. "He's not exactly a nice kid, especially to our son."
"What can we do?" asked Rita. "She wouldn't stop begging; it was embarrassing for all of us."
"It was." said Lynn Sr.
"But at least Junior, and Lance and Sharon's kids are there; they'll back Lincoln up." said Rita.
"I suppose so." said Lynn Sr.
"Let's call Lincoln and let him know about Chandler." said Rita before she grabs her device.
At that moment at the Alola Pokemon School; Lincoln and Lynn, along with their cousins and Alola friends were exiting through the main gate.
"That slide was awesome!" said Shiloh.
"Wish we had a slide like that at our school in Michigan." said Shelby.
"What do you all want to do now?" asked Lincoln.
"Let's do some more of that Sharpedo Riding!" said Shiloh.
"I could go for another round of that." said Lynn Jr. Suddenly, Lincoln's Rotom Phone started to ring. He answers and sees he was getting a call from Rita.
"Hi, sweetie." said Rita.
"Hi, Mom." said Lincoln and Lynn.
"Hi, Aunt Rita." said Shane.
"How are you all doing in Alola right now?" asked Lynn Sr from over Rita's shoulder.
"It's so awesome!" said Lincoln.
"Well, I hope this next bit of news won't ruin your fun." said Rita with a nervous look on her face.
"What?" asked Lincoln with worry.
"Well... you see..." said Rita before she drops the bombshell on Lincoln.
"CHANDLER?!" Lincoln shouts.
"Why's that chump coming here?!" asked Lynn Jr.
"Who's Chandler?" asked Shiloh.
"Some jerk who's always giving Lincoln a hard time back home in Royal Woods." said Lynn Jr.
"That's terrible." said Mallow.
"And we kind of told Chandler's mother that you'd meet him at the airport tomorrow afternoon." Lynn Sr nervously.
"I thought nothing would be able to ruin my time here, but then I hear about Chandler." said Lincoln.
"We're sorry, sweetie." said Rita.
"I guess what's done is done." said Lincoln.
"We'll back you up if he messes with you." said Mallow as she puts her hand on Lincoln's shoulder.
"If he so much as breathes on you; it's Camel Clutch City for him!" said Lynn Jr.
"If you knock him down; I'll do a cannonball on his stomach!" said Shiloh.
"Don't worry, cuz." said Shane. "We're there for you."
"Thanks, everyone." said Lincoln.
"You're welcome." said Mallow before she kisses Lincoln on the cheek, making him blush and smile, as well as Lynn, his cousins, and other Alola friends chuckle.
"And Lincoln; Chandler's father would like you to capture some more Grimer for him to help at the Royal Woods Sewage Treatment Plant." said Rita.
"Fine." said Lincoln.
Later at Chandler's house, his parents told him the news.
"Sweet." said Chandler. His mother then hands him one thousand US dollars.
"And Rita said the exchange rate between Alola money and our money is pretty good; that should give you enough to get a nice hotel room for your stay." said Mrs. McCann.
"Awesome." said Chandler. Back in Alola, Lincoln and his Rufflet were facing a Grimer.
"Rufflet, use Wing Attack!" said Lincoln. Rufflet flies at the Grimer and hits it with his wing, knocking it to the ground. Lincoln then takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Grimer, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggled around a few times until it clicked.
"That's Grimer number ten, cuz." said Shane.
"I think that's enough Grimers for Chandler's dad." said Lincoln. He walks to the Pokemon Center near the Pokemon School. Once inside, he takes out his Rotom Phone and dials Lynn Sr's number; seconds later, he answers.
"Hey, son." said Lynn Sr.
"Hi, Dad; I'm going to send over the Grimers that Chandler's dad asked for." said Lincoln.
"Okay, son; I'm sure he'll appreciate them." said Lynn Sr. After Lincoln uses the Pokemon Center's PC to transport the Grimers to Royal Woods, he says goodbye to Lynn Sr and ends the call. When Lincoln exits the Pokemon Center, Lynn Jr, their cousins, and their friends were waiting for him.
"You still want to go Sharpedo Riding, Lincoln?" asked Shelby.
"Sure." said Lincoln. The group then went to their lodgings to change into their swimming attire before they go Sharpedo Riding.
The next day at the Royal Woods International Airport, Chandler was outside a terminal gate leading to a plane bound for Alola.
"That Lincoln Loud boy will be meeting you at the airport in Alola when you arrive." said Mrs. McCann. "He'll help you get started on your stay there."
"And we've already got you enrolled in the Pokemon School." said Mr. McCann.
"Nice." said Chandler. He grabs his suitcase and walks down the passenger boarding bridge and boards the plane. Several minutes later, the plane takes off; Chandler's parents look at each other for a few seconds before looks of excitement appeared on their faces.
"HE'S GONE!" cheered Chandler's parents and they hugged.
"Come on, honey; we're celebrating!" said Mr. McCann. Meanwhile on the plane, Chandler was in coach, squeezed in-between two, sweaty, overweight men.
"Would it hurt my folks to put me in first class?" asked Chandler.
"Hey, kid." said one of the men sitting next to Chandler, getting his attention.
"What?" Chandler grumpily replied.
"Does this look infected to you?" asked the man as he shows Chandler his elbow that had a large scab with some green around it, making Chandler cringe. The other man suddenly let out a loud fart; noxious fumes went into Chandler's nostrils.
'This flight better be worth it.' said Chandler before one of the guys he was between started to get airsick.
Chandler is on his way to Alola. What other surprises; pleasant and unpleasant, are in store for Lincoln, Lynn, and their cousins as their Alola adventure continues.

Authors' Note: You're probably wondering "Why would you send that stuck-up little snot to the Alola Region?!" The answer is that Lincoln could use a rival that would motivate him to train himself harder, even though Lincoln could battle circles around him. Don't worry, Lynn and the Loud cousins will handle Chandler if he's dumb enough to try anything with them around; what are we talking about? Of course he's dumb enough.
